L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait puisque qu'à quelques mètres de la rue des bars, restaurants mais aucunement bruyant pour l'hôtel. Pas très loin, se trouve un Intermarché. Appartements très grands, cependant le personnel n'est pas tout le temps agréable et le ménage dans les chambres et le changement des draps n'est pas effectué comme prévu initialement.

Nuevo, limpio y apartado, que evita el ruido de "diversión" de la zona. El apartahotel es limpio y los empleados son atentos y competentes. Como negativo está que no tiene wifi en habitaciones, sólo en recepción, la luz de las estancias en el apartamento era escasa, y carecían de ciertos utensilios necesarios tales como escoba, bayetas, estropajo.

Good location, rooms were large, beds comfortable. Cleaned daily although not always fresh towels provided when dirty towels placed on floor. Fan in room was sufficient but wouldn’t like no air con in warmer weather and only use of fan. We were in room 97a superior room had power cut two days in a row, the electricity tripped would have expected maintenance to find out why tripped instead of just putting switch up. Happened two days I hope they sorted for next guests using our room. If you get a problem in the night like no electric you have to wait till 8am morning reception to sort. No phone in room for reception when I rang hotel reception number I was told they didn’t have rooms like mine so had to walk to reception ( had problem with mobility so this was not helpful)especially as the person on reception was the same person I had spoken to on the telephone! Taxi via hotel €30 to villamoura but taxi back from taxi rank was €20 this was after midnight. I would go to taxi rank to get taxi and not book via reception.

Loved the area around the apartment was plenty of cafes/bars and shops within a few feet Beaches were stunning and a short walk also a fun area known as the strip packed with fun bars and great live music The apartment was clean and maid service was fantastic The kitchen in our apartment lacked some esentials such as tin opener drinking glasses no dish soap sponge or towels Pool was clean but needed some attention as the pool bar was ripped out and bar stools in water were sharp The pool side bar was closed also which was disappointing I did ask if it was closed for the season but had been closed for over a year Most of staff were very cheerful but one lady at front desk was not That would not put me off going back though

This was the worse hotel we have ever stayed in our lives. They say theres a poolside bar and there wasnt. We had 1 lot of clean towels. Had no clean bedding at all. The staff where the most rude I have ever come across in my life

Nos alojamos aquí 4 días. El apartamento era súper amplio, cómodo y estaba limpio. Para mí la ubicación era perfecta ya que no estaba justo al lado de bares y restaurantes, estaba unos metros apartado, por lo que el bullicio de la calle no molesta. Personal muy amable. La piscina estaba limpia y en los días que estuvimos no hubo mucha gente, nos pudimos bañar sin problema de espacio. Lo único negativo es que se echa mucho en falta el aire acondicionado. Con 40° en Septiembre se necesita sí o sí.

Pero la temperatura era agradable e incluso dormimos con las ventanas cerradas. Aparcamiento para los clientes. Los apartamentos son nuevos.

Os apartamentos são razoáveis mas não teem ar condicionado, teem umas boas varandas, em relação á limpeza quase não existe pois estou cá á 5 dias e ainda nada foi limpo o apartamento não tem sequer uma vassoura para o poder varrer ,apenas mudam as toalhas e tiram o lixo,a piscina não tem condições para receber tanta gente e água está sempre muito suja,muito caro para as condições que tem.

Apartamentos cómodos y limpios, dicen que es para 4 y en realidad es para tres, la 3 cama es un sofá cama que para 2 es algo justo. Por otro lado falta aire acondicionado, aunque es cierto que por el precio... Al menos está limpio y bien ubicados.

Just back from this hotel and could not find fault with the acomadition the rooms had everything you needed washing machine microwave toaster kettle etc the big problem was you couldn't get any sleep at night and that was every night because of people partying and it neavn stopped till 4 in the morning no consideration for children or other guests and for that reason would definitely not stay there again and would advise anyone thinking of doing so to check the reviews

Nice clean apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. I needed paracetamol for my wife late at night and Fernanda on reception gave me some of her own. The pool is good the kids loved it. Apartments nice and central 5 minutes walk to beautiful beaches.

Location Is nice. The information from the reception upon arrival is however non existence. We were early so our room were not ready we were told we could leave our bags and go and explore. No suggestions even in which direction we should go for the best experience. The pool is not very clean. The balcony's are ok. However never cleaned once during our one week stay.

I more than hate this place, due to the fact that I had my safety deposit box broken into and they only took euro's. I got the safe owners to come and print out the times of use and the last one wasn't by my code which indicates a member of staff ! I tried to get in touch with the manager but guess what he was too busy to come before I went home where I learned that I wasn't the only person to suffer the same crime where the only thing stolen was euro's, check out trip advisor for yourself or better still DON'T GO !

Had bad write ups on TripAdvisor but we thought it was good. Cleaners in every day and bed made. Studio spacious with bath and washing machine. Pool small and not very sunny, disappointing but easy walk to beach. Situated at end of cul-de-sac so no traffic as such. Very short walk to bars and various good restaraunts. Strip less than 10 minutes away!!

Do they even have cleaners at this place? What an absolute state! Bug infested from top to bottom, ants in every room (even the kitchen sink) and worms in the pool (BORK) So yeah, got ourselves a new hotel for the last 2 nights because this place needs shutting down!

Difficult to rate this! The (one bedroom) apartment itself was fantastic - very spacious, had 2 bathrooms (one ensuite), comfortable double bed, IKEA furniture and kitchen utensils, large fridge with ice-making compartment, toaster, large balcony, great safe, lots of storage space and double wardrobe and so on. The complex has a room beside the reception where suitcases can be stored if your transfer is later than the check out which is great. Check out was 11am and our transfer around 6pm - which meant we could spend an 'extra' day enjoying the area and just changed later. The only thing it lacked was more cooking pots, hairdryer and ice tray for the fridge. There's no wifi in the apartments (already knew from publicity) so you need to sit at the reception if you need it (very comfortable seats) Safety-wise it was also very good having a fire blanket in the kitchen, a fire extinguisher at the entrance and smoke alarms in all rooms. It is very central to restaurants, pubs, shops supermarkets and within walking distance to amazing beaches but just away enough from the main street to be very quiet - perfect! On the other hand, when we arrived (at around 1am) we discovered that they had forgotten to prepare the apartment after the previous occupants left (so had full rubbish bins, leftovers in the fridge etc. Although the bed was made, we thought that the sheets hadn't been changed as there was some hair on them. There are 2 apartments per block ( ground floor and first floor) so there is a key for the outside common door and one for the apartment. The outside door had to be kept open as the lock was broken (the door had a message asking not to be shut and a smallish stone keeping it open). The lock was broken on our arrival (and was probably broken well before that) and, 3 days into our holidays, we came back from a long walk carrying some shopping to find that someone had shut the door! Back to the reception and was told that the maintenance person was coming. He arrived eventually and, after trying various things from his toolbox, he said that that door was designed not to be open from the outside - so he phone 'someone'. Back to the reception then, to be told that the had of maintenance was coming from somewhere - 15 minutes later he arrived a opened the door. (then he just jammed the lach with some folded up paper which will probably fall off later) As there wasn't a hairdryer in the apartment, we asked for one at the reception (normal practice - then take it back when checking out) and were told to remember to take it back. The next day the hairdryer had disappeared from the room so went down to reception to let them know. We were told them that the chambermaid had taken it away as "there are a lot of people waiting for it, you know?" - it was then that we realise that she meant 'bring it back straight after you finish with it' - so, one hairdryer to be shared amongst 40 or 50 apartments! So we managed to trace the chambermaid who was still in the vicinities of our apartment a got it back. Incidentally, they did a fantastic job with the very few resources they were given. The negatives really didn't spoil our holidays - and just became funny in time. So, for the actual apartment I would give a 8 and for the service/management a 2 or 3. Having said all that, we would book our holidays there again knowing what to expect - and take a hairdryer.

It was above and beyond what we got spotless apartment cleaned every day everything and more in our apartment, washing machine, big fridge ,kettle, toaster, microwave and all the bits and bobs ie saucepans,frying pans etc the staff were absolutely brilliant and helpful and it's close to all all a restaurants,pubs, and of course the Beach it was a lovely stay not to noise will be definitely going back to this hotel next year brilliant brilliant brilliant

Para nada recomendable, desde el primer día q llegamos el sofá estaba roto lo notificamos a la sra, o Srta y ni caso ,no podíamos sentarnos nos caíamos. Era un apartamento ( d un aparthotell ) . Había estudio y apartamento el cual pagamos más para tener el salón con sofá. No teníamos paños d cocina , ni jabón , horno, se pegaban los dedos a la loza nada q ver con las fotos .El trato d esa Sra bastante malo ni siquiera nos informo dond estaba la piscina. Todo lo contrario el Sr q nos atendió a la partida q volví a decirle lo q nos había pasado y q no lo recomendaría y mucho menos volver yo. Fue muy amable se disculpó y me dijo q debía d haber insistido q sobraba mobiliario para cambiarlo, al cual le respondí q yo no era reiterativa lo había comunicado el primer día y ni se había solucionado ni dado una respuesta.

Family of 2 adults and 4 children ages 11, 6, 4 and 16months. Happy with the overall experience. Reading the reviews before I come I was very worried, this hotel is in the quieter bit of Albufeira and not on he lively strip full of stags and hens drunk and inappropriate for children to be near! However if you do fancy a walk there it’s no more than 10 minutes. The beach is a 10 minute walk away but is a bit hilly on the way back which can be daunting when walking with 4 children complaining! However overall you get what you pay for. We had 2 rooms, because how big are party was! Number 461 and number 471. If you can try get a room on the top floor! It comes with 3 balcony’s one off the side of kitchen room and the other in the living room both small but adequate balconies but the best is the veranda if your on the top floor. It is a massive balcony with 2 sun loungers, 4 chairs and a table and a parasol. And number 471 is a sun trap! Amazing! We had maids daily and very polite and offered clean towels, toilet paper and sheets etc. The reason it’s 4 stars is the mattresses are very stiff and hard! And no air con, only plug in fans! No entertainment this is literally a place to sleep, cook (hob only) and shower. Would come back again! Staff all very polite!

Still here...looking at 8 empty beer bottles and can at side Of pool plus some under a sunbed...beds/ towels only changed once in 8 days...balcony chairs collapsed twice due to heat and weight. Not renewed...no atmosphere..avoid at all costs . Staff helpful but....not upkept properly

Péssima estadia. Quartos sem ar condicionado...um calor horrivel já para não falar no barulho que se faz de noite. Lampadas estragadas, janelas que não fecham....sem torradeira.

Cogimos este alojamiento por buena oferta, haciendo caso a la nota media y ubicación. Nos dio por mirar comentarios y vimos muchas cosas negativas. Mi experiencia: cero seguridad, puede entrar cualquiera al recinto. No nos robaron porque ya leímos comentarios al respecto y lo primero que nos dijeron en recepción es que no se hacían responsables de hurtos. Si nos entraron a robar no lo sabremos nunca, no llevábamos nada de valor y no dejamos nada en el apartamento, sólo ropa de playa .En cuanto a limpieza tuvimos suerte, y al leer comentarios de que no había jabón ni champú llevé yo misma. Estancia sin contratiempos pero igualmente no lo recomiendo. Es barato eso sí.

Cuidado com este sítio, fui assaltada o que pelos vistos é bastante comum lá, no entanto não houve qualquer tipo de aviso por parte dos colaboradores e descartaram se completamente das responsabilidades.

This was a nice place to stay. Had issues with the light bulbs in 3 of the rooms in my apartment. All rooms have dual light bulbs and only 1 was working in the living room and kitchen. The bedroom light bulbs were both blown. I had to chase this up on 3 ocassions before a maintenance man appeared and replaced them accordingly. Apart from that, the stay was calm, relaxing and the reception staff were really helpful. Swimming pool is a decent size and you are literally mins from the main strip for bars, restaurants and the beach.

Fiquei desiludido. Serviço de limpeza e apoio ao cliente muito defeciente. Só tenho que fazer um reparo positivo. Uma recepcionista que foi impecável, da qual tive pena de não saber o nome, pois devia ser destacada.

Las sábanas estaban sucias, con pelos, la cocina también, salpicada de aceite en la pared y la encimera. Las sábanas las cambian cada 2 semanas! Y las toallas cada semana... O eso dicen porque nosotros estuvimos 4 noches y no las cambiaron. No hay wifi, solo está disponible en recepción. Ni utensilios de limpieza, estropajo, jabón ni básicos para el baño, champú u otros. En definitiva, puedo decir que es el peor lugar donde me he alojado en toda mi vida. En cambio la ubicación es buena y la chica de recepción es amable.

Kamers waren niet netjes. Schoonmakers zijn bijna niet geweest, en als ze kwamen werd geweigerd schoon te maken omdat ze vonden dat wij onze kleding niet op de juiste wijze hadden opgeruimd. Schone handdoeken hebben we nooit gekregen. Daarnaast is het zwembad ook in zeer slechte staat. Deze wordt namelijk gevuld met een tuinslang, aan een zijde staan onder water een aantal palen waar je je lelijk op kan bezeren en onder het water in het zwembad zitten een paar scherpe punten waarbij ik, en nog een andere gast, ons aan hebben verwond. Vier hechtingen en gedoe met de reisverzekering als resultaat, excuses nooit gekregen.

Beste toekomstige vakantieganger, Onderstaand onze ervaring met het cheerfulway palmeiras hotel. Bij aankomst begint het al, kamer niet klaar.... zou 3 uur klaar zijn, werdt 4 uur. Bij inchecken willen ze gelijk €100,- p.p. Borg Hebben.... Bij aankomst in de kamer gelijk op een aantal smerige punten gewezen. Krijgen wij gelijk een door de manager een standaard verkooppraatje te horen. Op foto’s ziet het er allemaal netjes uit, maar de schijn bedriegt. Elke dag komen er schoonmakers langs. ook als je om 9:00 nog op bed ligt, lopen zo de slaapkamers binnen schrikken zich dan dood en gaan maar snel weer weg ( zijn de hele week niet weer geweest). Om de 4 dagen nieuwe handdoeken, Deze hebben wij nooit gezien. Wij zullen het cheerfull palmeiras hotel zeker niet aanraden.

Niet geschikt voor jongeren, ze zijn alleen maar uit om je borg in te houden, wat €100 euro p.p. is. We zitten hier een week en krijgen geen nieuwe handoeken. Echt geen aanrader

The apartments are a good size and are in a really convenient location to get to the beach, old town etc. The staff generally were friendly and helpful. However, the apartment we stayed in hadnt been properly cleaned before we arrived and although they advertise free wifi, it is only available in the reception area, likewise they state there is a poolside snack bar but this was closed for our stay. Also, for the week we were there, our towels werent replaced (we had been told on checking in that they would be every three days) and on the last night there was a group outside singing at about 4am which the staff did nothing to stop even though we were told that they had a strict policy on no noise after 11pm.

La zona donde se encontraba estaba bien ya que estaba algo separada de la calle donde se concentraba toda la fiesta y se podía dormir bien. La playa estaba a 10 min caminando.

We got a lovely apartment that had an overlooking view of the pool, it was one of the more deluxe ones. It was kept clean with cleaning services done daily, but we did not receive towels daily, only every few days. And I'm not even sure if our bed sheets got changed even once while we were there for a week. We were told it would only be done every 4 days or so, same with the towels, which I found odd. Most of the staff at the front desk were friendly, there is no bar or restaurant in it but there are ones nearby. There is supposed to be a bar/snack bar open at the pool and there's an ice cream stand but they were not open for the entire week that we were there, doesn't look like they had been open for quite some time. It is a nice central place to stay and there is plenty of information available at the desk about things to do.

Me robaron a mi y mis amigas por la noche, las ventanas no cerraban se abrían desde fuera y el hotel no hizo nada al respecto, el personal es poco profesional y el trato por parte de ellos deja mucho que desear. No existen cámaras de seguridad y cualquier persona que no se hospede podía acceder con facilidad

Mi hija se ha alojado con unas amigas y les robaron, el personal no hizo nada también a más gente que se hospedaba y tuvieron Trato inadecuado por el personal del hotel.Nada recomendable

Nos entraron a robar la 4a noche y por parte de recepción/dirección del hotel no tuvimos buen trato y no nos dieron solución ya que no había cámaras ninguna. No recomendable. Espero haber sido de ayuda alguna.

A Falta de privacidade por não ter cortinas nas cozinhas , na sala o sofá cama estava danificado gerando desconforto ao dormir! O móvel da TV estava pousado no chão em vens de estar na parede suspenso o que dá mau aspecto! Na zona da piscina tem supostamente um bar sem qualquer utilização e as pedras do balcão e dos bancos partidas, podendo gerar danos físicos!! Praticamente não existe sinal de TV portuguesa limitando ao servico de TDT , estava sem sinal e internet está limitada na zona da recepção pois a data não justifica! Boa localização, perto de muito comércio e das praias, podendo deixar o carro estacionado!

The quality of your stay depends on where your apartment is situated. We had a superior (with terrace) which was to one end of the pool area. Others werent so well-located. The hotel isnt disturbed by noise (cabaret) from other hotels and the service is fine. The pool area wasnt always maintained, cigarette ends left around by others. But we felt comfortable and happy in simple surroundings. The pool can be shaded in areas thru the day.

Hard to rate. We were there in October but imagine both resort & apartments would have been crowded & noisy in high season. Set back from road so little traffic noise. Very comfortable spacious accommodation, well equipped. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms & building very clean but area around pool wasnt. Poolside shower didnt work and surrounding area was only swept once in 6 days we were there. About 15 mins walk to a lovely beach where there are a few bars/cafes. Near bus stop & bus to old town every half an hour.

terrible experience at this place. Apartment provided was in a poor state with electric connections in the kitchen incomplete. No AC either and staff not friendly. No wifi in the apartments. Only works at the reception area. Very poor indeed!

We booked a Superior apartment at an extra cost but were placed in a standard apartment. When we pointed this out, we were placed in a sub-standard apartment with faulty electrical works. Apparently that was the only Superior apartment left.Expedia were not helpful either.We had to settle for a standard apartment and yet no refund for the extra payment we made.The receptionist was unfriendly and really did not care about our concerns!No wifi in the apartments...only works at the reception. You have to pay 3 euros per day to use the safe in the bedroom.

Staff were friendly and apartment was cleaned daily. the pool was nice too. we went at a quiet time which was good. short walk to 3 beaches and short taxi ride to old town. also short walking distance to the strip. overall lovely stay with my sister. only negative is that there was no oven and the stove did not work in the apartment but the there was a microwave toaster and kettle!

This place is a dump! We had nothing but problems with the room and the gardens are full of rubbish. It is incredibly noisy until 7 + am in the mornings with drunk people everywhere. Its unfinished, badly refurbished, the pool is dangerous and a health hazzard and the management dont give a damn about it. I met so many people who just wanted to go home because it was so horrible there. It is absolutely nothing like the website/websites (Very Confusing!!!!) I have no idea where the good reviews come from or why anyone would give it a good review?? Avoid at all costs, unless you want to waste money on being stressed out and depressed. Not even 1 star let alone 3 or 4 or whatever the various tour operators and websites tell you!!

Very nice and good location. Clean, nice apartments, ok pool, nice staff. Really, looked good initially until we realized there is no AC. The apartment was really hot. Too hot. We were assured that it would get colder at night. LOL, 26 Celsius is not cold for Canadians. We sleep with the windows open but most of the night we heard drunk kids, then when they finally all went to bed the seagulls woke up. Never heard so much noise from birds before. So really we did not sleep much. If you tolerate heat well, go for it, if not, skip this one.

No signboard for the apartment; 24 hrs front desk; still being built so can see workers around in the campus; room gets very hot in summer time as ventilation acceptable except on the ground floor as you cant sleep with the windows open-- not safe. Beds not comfortable.Moved into an apartment where light not working, hence moved to another apartment after 20 minutes; left for beach in the morning and left camera Sony NEX 5N in the apartment -- came back to find that camera is not in the room; reported it to the reception who didnt even bother informing the manager about the camera missing from the room (domestic staff went in the room for cleaning the room as they have the keys). It appeared that the reception was keen not even to query the staffs. I finally talked to manager over the phone who knew nothing till then. Agreed for informing police which I did and took another 3 hours. Police however is polite and I hope they enquire the staff and get at least my memory card back( as its very precious memories). At police station, they also seemed worried about this incidence at the apartment and didnt know that this apartment exists.I would say to leave anything inside the apartment at your risk.

Can't fault this place. Immaculately clean and very modern. Good first impression of Portugal on out first visit. Highly recommend.
