Es nuestro tercer año pasando las vacaciones en junio, en Tavira. Siempre cenamos en esta terraza sobre el rio y lo recomiendo a todo el mundo. Recetas ricas y originales y con buenos precios. Atención excelente. Recomendamos este sitio si venís a Tavira.

We walked in without a reservation a few hours after arriving on our flight. They accommodated us for a late dinner with no problems. Balcony overlooking the river is beautiful and the food is fab. Perfect setting for couples

Intended to eat there as my mother had memories of past lovely meals but clearly new management with an uninspiring menu and a thoroughly rude manager/owner. Subsequently been told the old good reviews are sadly history.

Estive 2 vezes neste local e em ambos achei-o agradável e acolhedor, a comida é boa e bem confeccionada, bom atendimento e staff simpático, levando em conta as qualidades anteriores não é um restaurante caro.
É sem dúvida um dos bons locais em Tavira.

Was going to give 5 stars, excellent food and service for three days, sat down on the fourth day and was ignored! What's that all about? I gave €5 euro tip each day then they do that!! Such a shame.

Fabulous !! 3rd time here, brill service & food, if you remember to book you will likely get on the terrace & the views in the evening are lovely with the lights on the bridge & restaurants on other side of the river. A "must" if you come to Tavira !!

Terrasse magnifique avec vue imprenable, la terrasse était complète et nous afin bu un verre à l'intérieur et cela a valu la peine d'attendre. Personnel aimable. Les plats ne sont pas exceptionnels mais la vue et superbe.

Managed to get in this year only because of cancellation table overlooking the river.
Just had a few tapa's and bottle of wine all very good and resalable price service was friendly and professional would highly recommend it but book in advance.

Quite average food with many tourists. The restaurant balcony along the river is particularly nice, if you can get a spot.

Great location, pretty good prices, great food. Gets busy in high season but you can usually get a spot inside early evening. Later on it's a great spot to sit and have a drink and watch the world go by. Nice cocktails, seem generous with the rum!

Our first meal in Tavira and it was excellent! We shared a platter of cheese and ham and a mixed salad that had a fantastic fresh green pesto!
An excellent location and very good service.
It's one of the places you should try if you're visiting Tavira, we shall definitely go back!

Encantador bar restaurante a la orilla del río de Tavira, en El Algarve portugués. Un lugar ideal, por su magnífica luz, para hacer fotos. Local moderno y acogedor. Bien sitio para tomar una cerveza, una Copa o para reponer fuerzas con una buena comida. Ubicado muy cerca del centro turístico de la ciudad, muy próximo a la Estación de Autobuses.

The food on an average plane is better then this place, just keep it to drinks only. The samosa's (veg) where plain not even a real mango chutney. Meatballs - can make it better myself. The veggie tagliatelle was covered in cheap long shelved cream sauce. Side salad looked like it had been on the beach all day

Très bien. La serveuse s'est débrouillée pour nous trouver une table rapidement, les plats sont bons, le service agréable et on se détend en prenant le repas. Ne pas être trop pressé, ce restaurant n'est pas fait pour ça. Je recommande !

A localização da varanda exterior é talvez a melhor de Tavira, pois debruça-se diretamente sobre o rio Gilão, ao lado da Ponte Romana. A comida é muito boa, embora o menu não seja vasto. Adequado para refeições maiores ou apenas de tapas.
O serviço é rápido, atencioso e discreto.
Para conseguir um lugar na varanda será avisado marcar com antecedência.

Eten was verschrikkelijk. Vooraf bruschetta besteld, hier bleek geen brood meer voor te zijn. Als andere tapas gerechten hadden wij garnalen, calamaris en presunto croquettes besteld. De calamaris, waren zo taai als rubber, de garnalen zagen troebel en roken bedorven, ook de presunto croquettes kwamen uit de vriezer net als de calamaris. Ook werden we bekritiseerd over het feit dat we de garnalen met mes en vork aten, waar bemoeit men zich tegenwoordig mee.?! Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

It has good food and the portions are good, I personally ate a salad which came in either a small or normal portion, I chose a small portion and it was a nice portion, it filled me up well. The only thing that I didn’t really like was that the vegetarian salad was a little bit dry even with olive oil and vinegar. They should work on the balance of th chosen food items as the cherry tomatoes were extremely sweet and the only ingredient that could balance the sweetness was that the black olives, unfortunately there was only two olives and triple the amount of tomatoes. Also one of the staff gave me a really nasty and dirty look when I was asking for potatoes to accompany my salad!

Wir waren bereits zum vierten Mal innerhalb von zwei Wochen dort.Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und auch bei Hochbetrieb freundlich.Das Essen war gut und der warm servierte Schokokuchen ein Muss für alle Schokoliebhaber.Wir durften die Besitzerin kennenlernen und führten ein sehr nettes Gespräch mit ihr,bei dem man erkennen konnte ,dass sie das Business mit Herzblut und sehr viel Menschenverstand leitet.Das Wohl ihrer Mitarbeiter,als auch das der Kunden liegt ihr sehr am Herzen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen die gemütliche Atmosphäre.
Die Lage der Lounge sorgt für Entspannung und Urlaubsflair pur.

Wunderbare portugiesische Meatbals (Tapas) sehr gute Salatvariationen. Der Balkon ist wunderbar, zum Abend hin nicht zu topen! Eiskalter Weisswein ein paar Tapas und der Blick auf die beleuchtete Ponte Romana, mehr braucht es nicht!

O Tavira Louge tem um nome a armar ao pingarelho para denominar um bar com uma esplanada sobre o rio, com uma vista única da cidade de Tavira. Sem tremoços para acompanhar uma cerveja, tem "bifes" com fartura, pois é um dos locais prediletos da comunidade inglesa residente por estas bandas. Os próprios empregados já são jovens desta comunidade, mas a quem se pode fazer o pedido em português. Um estrela, pelos tremoços!

Great value tapas. Larger dishes than in other places (but no more expensive). Lovely tapas and the vinho Verde is just lovely. Great atmosphere and if you can get a table on the veranda, you're in for a real treat. Our favourite place in Tavira!

We visit Tavira Lounge multiple times every time we come to Tavira, must have been there 30+ times over the last 10 years. The atmosphere is chilled out and relaxed, the food is fresh home made and delicious and the cakes are loverly, again homemade and refreshingly different from the norm.
The owners are friendly as are most of the staff and the place is run with the right attitude, not just open at peak times, You are always warmly welcomed, peak times or not!
The only thing that could be improved for us is the addition of a baby changing bench, now we have a baby in tow.

Simplesmente o melhor bar / restaurante de Tavira. A comida é de muito boa qualidade e as pessoas que lá trabalham são muito simpáticas. Já fui lá algumas vezes e sempre fui muito bem atendido. Tem um vasto leque de bebidas e as sobremesas também são boas. O ambiente é acolhedor e a esplanada que fica em cima do rio Gilão com vista para a ponte romana é um dos melhores locais de Tavira. Vale mesmo a pena.

Expulsam os clientes habituais, os que frequentam o estabelecimento todo o ano. Para ser mais explícita, à sexta-feira o estabelecimento fecha à 1h00 e fui expulsa às 23h55 por chegarem uns amigos, mesmo tendo a minha bebida a meio. Desrespeito pelos clientes do ano inteiro!!

We loved this place right on the river. Make a booking for the river veranda for dinner. Enjoyable, and varied entrée salads, missing in a typical Portuguese menu. Crush made smoothies, and much more. Contemporary design. Friendly staff.

Cannot recommend enough this place. Friendly and helpful staff and superb food and drinks (especially the homemade lemonade) reasonably priced. We were lucky enough to have a table on a terrace over looking the river.

Try to sit in the back where you over look the river and bridge. There is ample seating inside,but seating outside in back is nicer.
Food:
Vegetables soup - good vegetarian soup
Quiche - vegetables quiche with house salad. I liked the fresh corn in it.
Calamari with tartar sauce - it was OK but I prefer something less greasy.
Fruit smoothie - tropical smoothie
All for about 20 euros.
