Love this restaurant. Call in for dinner every time I'm in Tavira. Food is fab & staff are really friendly.

Queríamos cenar en un hindú y este lo recomendaban así que fuimos, con el inconveniente de que teníamos que comer en terraza porque llevábamos a nuestro perro. Pero el mismo chico en la puerta nos dijo que podíamos entrar con el, nos sentó en un sitio más apartado para no molestar al resto de gente y genial, muy tranquilo y sin el frío de la calle. El trato del personal inmejorable, preguntando si nos había gustado la comida varias veces. La comida exquisita, pedimos pollo tandori, arroz con salsa, pan de queso y una especie de triángulo de empanadilla de pollo y todo estaba riquísimo. Nos fuimos con ganas de volver, así que lo haremos en cuanto podamos!

Jantamos neste restaurante e simplesmente estava tudo delicioso!Meu marido e eu amamos comida indiana ,em especial o butter chicken,que era muito deliciosa a oferta deles.Recomendo experimentarem também a opção do Chicken Kandhori com pistaches e castanhas.O arroz frito com também era maravilhoso como guarnição.o atendimento foi ótimo também.Todos muito simpáticos. Voltaríamos com certeza!

If you know what indian food should taste like then this isn't your place, average flavours with poor Indian taste, more over powering herbs than any sort of indian spice. Food overall a disappointing experience and would not return. Atmosphere was awful, A local football game on the TV, no background music, staff ok ish, service average, place in need of a damn good make over inside yet outside looked appealing! Better places in Tavira

Spent a couple of months in Tavira to escape the Canadian winter. Visited Kohinoor restaurant several times. One of our two favorite restaurants in Tavira. Excellent, authentic Indian food. Fun, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

It's anything but authentic Indian food. Honestly I wonder how much the chef actually knows about Indian cuisines. The garlic naan, for instance, is very thick that it almost resembles ciabatta.

Authentic Indian food away from India.. great customer service. My favorite.. chicken Tikka and chicken Shashlik. Accompanied with Malai kofta, garlic naan and mango lasi. I am definitely coming back to Algarve region only for food ;)

Been here for the last 10 years. Clean bathroom and the chairs were just excellent for my backpain. (As always)
Even proposed to my girlfriend here, but we broke up. Anyway! Jesus christ this lamb was good.

Have been visiting Tavira for a number of years now and the Kohinoor restaurant since it first opened. Have tried other Indian restaurants locally which are fine but keep coming back here. Restaurant clean. Staff always courteous, friendly and obliging. Food delicious. My family and friends also love this place. Also it's one of the few places you'll get food if you land in Tavira after 10pm and hungry. Top Mark's.

There’s a lot of Indian restaurants about but none have topped this one in Tavira. Food tasted as good as it looked, staff were very helpful. Any requests with dishes was no problem. Will be back again

Pidän paljon intialaisesta ruuasta ja käymme usein ruokailemassa näissä paikoissa. Tämä paikka oli ensimmäinen pettymys. Palvelu oli perustasoa. Butter chicken todella sitkeää. Maku oli ok, mutta paljon parempaa saa muualta Tavirassakin. Kun tilaat heidän listalta aquardenten, he tuovat sinulle kuumaa vettä.

Payed a lot for very little food, very aggressive costumer service. Told us something was gonna be free and we end up paying for it. Wouldn't return and do not recommend.

We visited this restaurant a couple of times whilst staying near Tavira last month. Best Indian meal we’ve had for a long time. Great flavours and quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely eat here again.

Excelente comida e pessoal simpático e atencioso! Nunca está demasiado cheio, o que permite desfrutar de uma refeição calma. Uma das paragens obrigatórias sempre que estamos por Tavira!

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, et le service. Le repas était excellent, beaucoup de saveurs et très bien cuisiné, pour un rapport qualité prix raisonnable. Nous conseillons ce restaurant à Tavira.

Très mauvais, A éviter absolument
les aliments sont de très mauvaise qualité et nous avons été malade 2 heures après.
Ne jamais entrée dans ce restaurant ainsi que l'autre indien qui est en face ou celui de l'autre coté du pont car c'est la même patron, donc les même mauvais aliments.
Passé votre chemin.

Have been visiting this restaurant for three years and have always had fabulous meals served by very friendly staff.Unbelievably good value for authentic Indian cuisine.
Being a solo diner it is an easy and comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

Wij zijn hier met het hele gezin gaan eten en iedereen vond het geweldig lekker. Supper leuk om enkele gerechtjes te bestellen en dan met iedereen te delen, zodat je vanalles kan proefen. Heerlijk!
Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en beleefd. We kregen een apperitief hapje voor het wachten korter te maken. Kwaliteid van het eten was ook goed, zeker niet te vettig. Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug.

Hervorragendes indisches Essen. Wenn man mal eine Abwechslung zum guten portugiesischen Essen möchte, eine sehr gute Wahl.
Auch mit Kindern zu empfehlen.
Zudem ein freundlicher und guter Service.

Friendly waiter but food was very average, sauces lacked flavour and kick, breads and rice were poorly seasoned
What was most off putting was at 2-3 pm constant prayer chants from the kitchen which seemed to go through an amplifier
Owners need to decide is this a business of not , very unfair to subject customers to this in Southern Europe

Muy económico y la comida como en todos los indus, a quien le guste, para chuparse los dedos. El camarero muy amable, sabia poco portugués y yo nada, aun así hizo lo imposible para entendernos.

We went here for dinner on a Sunday while travelling and it was AMAZING. My husband had butter chicken and I had a paneer dish and both were outstanding. The service was also lovely very fast and friendly. If we weren't from so far away we would dine here all the time.

The best chickpea curry i've ever had! Very fresh and delicious food. Naan is fantastic. A very good restaurant direct in the city of tavira. Try it!

We were a party of 10 on New year's Eve. The service was appalling. The waiters were scruffy and they got just about everything mixed up. We had to ask for starter which we didn't get until after the main. Don't know what the dessert was. None of us will ever go there again.

The rice is aromatic, the korma rich and intense and the naan prepared fresh.
No Portuguese spoken by my waiter, which I dislike from an integration point of view, but this is personal, as probably most visitors aren't local...
