Maiatzaren azken egunetan Algarveco kostaldeko ondartza batzuetan ibili ondoren, "Bar da praia" Odeceixe izeneko praiaren taberna bat topo egin genun. Leku zoragarri honetan janari ona eta plater goxoak dasta ditzakegu. Gainera zerbitzari atseginak baita giro polita....benetan merezi duela etzagutzea!

We went in there on Friday lunchtime and even though they hadn’t officially opened they welcomed us in. We had a wonderful lunch looking out over the beach with great food (big focus on quality local produce), relaxed stylish atmosphere, and well made drinks. The people running it couldn’t have been more friendly, nothing was too much and you could tell they really cared about every detail without being overbearing. Can’t wait to go back!

Propably my most expensive meal in this life. I ordered some pork-stuff (~10 euros + beer) hoping to get myself eaten. They did "mistake" (it really feels intentional "mistake", which would make it pure scam-bar) and brought me some slices of ham instead! Just ham! I was looking it, well, couldn't blame nobody than myself, I had no idea it was not even what I ordered. Anyway, it was not a meal, so I had to order some additional potatoes (5,50 euros)... So I ate boiled potatoes with ham-slices which together with beer was to be 17 euros! And then I got bill for 24 euros! It came out they brought me wrong thing, not a pork, but ham... and this plate of ham slices was alone 17 euros!!! Unbelievable! I guess it could be 17 cents in supermarket... He even pushed me to pay it because I had eaten it and I "should have told when it was brought first place that it's wrong thing"... I'm not a food specialist, ham can be made of pork too! Anyway, they still recalculated to 17 euros altogether... for nearly nothing, and I'm still hungry... By the way, no cards accepted. But come on! 17 euros is slices of ham?!?! I'm getting more and more angry every minute, I could have stay home and just set my money on fire. Some things are really wrong in this world. And one of those things is this bar/restaurant.

Um pouco caro para o local apesar da imensa beleza natural. Simpatia q.b. para quem sabe que são os únicos e maioritariamente turistas. 2 sandes enormes que seria natural avisar que o eram, quando pedimos apenas algo para petiscar. Comemos 1 e a outra veio embrulhada para casa.........fica para a história apenas a imensa beleza do local.

Con una ubicación privilegiada una carta variada. Con platos de diferentes cocinas, como el humus, el guacamole y unas buenas anchoas sin olvidarme de la espectácular crema de limón. Y para rematar la comida un buen gin-tonic.El trato del personal muy profesional. Recomendable.

Decidi sin mucha conviccion dar una oportunidad a las opciones veganas disponibles en la carta de esta pequeña joyita junto a la playa y quedé gratamente sorprendido. Eso sí, rematé con un buen marmitako. El servicio magnífico. Son como ninjas, rápidos silenciosos y supereficientes.

Una joyita llevada por españoles recomendación dejarse aconsejar por el dueño sobre todo en los vinos de la zona. Las anchoas y el marmitako espectacular y los deja sitio para los postres (brownie y arroz con leche vegetal) buenísimos. Un descubrimiento.

Bar da Praia es uno de esos sitios de los que te enamoras nada más llegar. Sus increibles vistas, su exquisita decoracion, la amabilidad del personal y por supuesto la comida (casera y hecha con mucho amor) hacen de este restaurante un sitio para repetir. Por último destacaría la sopa de coliflor, la ensalada de tomates bio con queso de cabra y cebolla caramelizada y una exquisita versión de la escalibada. Los postres son increibles, probamos el arroz con leche verano y la crema de limón y para la próxima ocasión no dejaré pasar el brownie!

Locale piccolo ma molto carino, un po' nascosto ma ben indicato. Cibo fresco e ben preparato, insalate eccezionali. Personale simpatico, gentile e preparato su ogni lingua. Abbastanza economico per la qualità dei piatti. Dolci fatti in casa buonissimi. Il terrazzo esterno si affaccia sulla baia sottostante. Bellissimo

Lovely, quaint little cafe bar on a terrace overlooking the beach. We decided to stop for lunch with our 2 young children. The food was great, homemade from fresh ingredients with vegetarian & vegan options available. Enough familiar food to keep the kids happy and the host & staff very family friendly. Thank you!

Riquísimo. Negocio familiar pero profesional, lo que transmite buen ambiente Rápidos y amables al servicio, a pesar del estrés que llevan los dueños/camareros en temporada alta. El sitio tiene encanto,cerca de la playa, que se ve bien desde la zona de terraza. Un poco ruidoso, pero dentro de lo normal porque hay mucha gente ( en temporada alta). Precio algo mayor a la media en la zona, pero muy asequible y con relación calidad precio muy buena. Aunque está algo escondido, hay multitud de indicaciones por la zona y se llega bien, aunque no se debe intentar llegar con el coche hasta la puerta ( aparcar en la zona habilitada en la playa).

El lugar precioso y la camarera amable pero es muy caro para lo que ofrecen. Pedimos un hummus y nos sacaron un cuenco pequeño con un vaso de chupito de palitos de zanahoria cruda. A mitad de la ración, pedimos más zanahoria para no tener que comernos el hummus con tenedor. Nuestra sorpresa fue en la cuenta cuando vimos que nos habían cobrado 1,5€ más por el extra de zanahoria. Total, 13€ por dos cervezas y un poco de hummus.

Das Personal ist nett und die Aussicht gut. Das Essen schmeckte auch prima, doch die Portionen waren klein, bzw. überteuert. Man muss schon einiges bestellen, um satt zu werden.

Disappointing - great location overlooking the beach but doesn't get much sun. Menu is limited and what's on offer is overpriced and not very appetising. The host is welcoming but considering their incredible location, if they attended to their menu they could do something great!

We visited this little treasure three summers ago, and we were delighted to know they were stil there!. Lovely setting, over looking the stunning Odeceixe beach, this place can satisfy the wishes of the big and small, with spanish inspired side dishes, fresh daily picked main dishes, and amazing desserts which my kids stil talk about. The owners are a charm, and they'll share great tips about the Alentejo if you have the time to chat over the great mellow music that is always cheering up the background. When I travel, I normally like tasting the very local authentic cuisine of the region. This place has given it a little twist, feels sophisticated and yet relaxed.Can't wait to be back!

Restaurante pequeño pero con unas vistas espectaculares de la playa. Los camareros son geniales y muy amables. La comida casera y está buenísima. Recomiendo el guiso de calamares. Que barbaridad!
Nos recomendaron varios lugares cerca de la zona y estuvimos muy agusto. Mención especial al dueño que nos ayudó muchísimo!

Niet zo eenvoudig te vinden maar een goede plek om rustig te lezen, schrijven of te kletsen. Vriendelijke bediening en een goede kaart. Heel vers en iets minder traditioneel dan de rest van de tentjes in Odeceixe. Dikke aanrader.

Pequeño y acogedor restaurante sobre la playa, con una vista estupenda. Terraza muy agradable por la mañana, pues cuando no le da el sol es más fresca. Delicioso el brownie. También te puedes sentar a tomar una cerveza o un café. Los camareros son encantadores y todo está muy cuidado.

Pasamos una semana en Odeceixe Praia y lo descubrimos el primer día. Desayunamos todos los días aquí, un café buenísimo con un Brownie delicioso, un una terracita con vistas preciosas a la playa. El último día cenamos aquí también. Pedimos Papas arrugas, Carrilleras de ternera y Tataki de atún. Todo esta delicioso pero el Tataki esta exquisito, riquísimo, hacía tiempo que no comía un tataki tan rico. Y que decir de los postres, a cada cual mejor. El sorbete de limón...increíble! A todo esto hay que añadirle que el personal es de diez. Atentos, agradables y te recomiendan cosas para ver y hacer por la zona. Además, el local está decorado con muchos gusto. En definitiva, si algún día volvemos, repetiremos seguro!

Perfect place to have a late lunch/early dinner literally above the beach. Homemade food (besides the a la carte menu they have a selection of dishes of the day), super friendly staff and the je ne sais que vibe all make you want to sit on the terrace for hours.
Must try: Lemon scream and (amazing!) iced tea.

Best dinner in my holidays in Portugal.
I found this wonderful spot thanks its beautifil blue parasols and it was a great surprise.
Cauliflower soup as a starter, tuna tartar (deliciuos and fresh) and lemon cream were a perfect way to finish that day... besides conversation and tips told by Pedro and his really nice team.

We spent some days in the area at the beginning of July and coming across this place was magic. Although a bit hidden, the views of the beach and the river from this corner of the seafront are wonderful. But what we enjoyed the most was the warm welcome of the staff and the owners, together with the food and the good music for a perfect end of the day. We also came back for breakfast on our last day before we set off on our trip back home. Tasty food (salads, soup of day, dish of the day, apt for vegans) and very good taste from the owners in terms of decoration and music. And also, they know very well the area and if you get into a conversation with them, they have loads of good tips to explore the surroundings. Not to be missed.

Super friendly, SUPER fresh and delicious! Went there twice: for lunch and dinner. Had the vegetable and preserved tuna which was of very high quality and super delicous. Also try the Guacalmole and hummus. Both outstanding - especially for that price! One of my favourite places on the Algarve!

GOD BLESS BAR DA PRAIA
Feeding healthy during some meeks at the coast with a group of friends and kids can be an imposible mission.
Everywhere there are hamburgers, pizzas, sándwiches...and all that junk food.
However, we were rerecommended and went to Bar da Praia.Real food, cooked by themselves,homenade,heaven in Earth.
Delicious and huge salads , soups(we could choose between tomato and zucchini),veggie dish(that day was taboule),a stew ( I think it was alentejan por loin)and wonderful deserta.
The worst: we notice the day before return.

BEHIND THE BLUE PARASOLS
Hidden but finally found...We looked for them as we were told and not only the umbrellas but also the paradise.
A small space over the beach(the ri er ) with healthy and homemade food(tomato soup,tuna,tartar,squid stew,lemon creme and an amazing chocolate).
Visiting Algarve since some years and we'll be back in Bar da Praia.

J´ai découvert sur la plage d´Odeceixe un endroit idéal pour manger face à la mer, Une très agréable Terrasse avec de l´ombre et un joli petit salon intérieur..
Des fleurs fraîches, une jolie vaisselle et une cuisine simple mais délicieuse...
De plus le "BAR DA PRAIA" offre un service fantastique .

PAY ATTENTION YOUR SISTER
My sister recommended this place after her visit two years ago and fortunately I obeyed.
A lit bit hidden in front of the beach it is easily recognizable thanks to its blue parasols. As my sister said, I tried the best tuna tarta ever and an amazing chocolate brownie. Thanks to my husband and two teenagers children, we could try more than my sister recommended.
Beautiful place, nice people las good food.

Voilà, ils ont tout compris au système côte d'azur ! Servir des plats vite préparés sans cuisiner réellement, ne pas être aimable, mettre des prix élevés, afficher une pancarte "service au bar" comme ça pas de serveur. La recette idéale du détestable.

10€ por una escasa ensalada con nueces y 2 trozos de bacon.5€ por un sandwich con pate de atun.En serio no os dejeis engañar por la amabilidad.
