Le fado sauve tout.... Le serveur cuisiner barman plongeur prend sa guitare à la fin du service pour sa prestation inoubliable et émouvante. Sa cuisine aussi reste inoubliable, mais pas pour les même raisons ! L'attrape touriste !

Had great food and a wonderful time here. Three musicians were outstanding. Tucked away on a winding little street, small cozy, family run. Hospitality on our visit was a great ambassador for Portugal.

Gouged and Disappointed. Stopped in for FADO and port after eating elsewhere. The port was plain and the prices were 10 Euros each and still water, filtered not mineral was 4,50. The FADO after 9:00 was only one person. The FADO was enjoyable but the price gouging soured the entire experience.

Se escucha buen fado, mejor que otros locales cercanos, en especial el cantante. Debes saber que el mínimo por persona serán 25€, incluidos los niños, es decir saldrás con una media de 30€, por persona. La comida está buena.

Fuyez c est un piège à touriste avec du fado médiocre et hurlé. les prix sont exhorbitants. Les plats commandés sont au final pas disponibles. Le vin au verre un échantillon. Les plats sont gras. trop cuits. Les desserts une honte. 5.50 euros pour crème au caramel qui n en ai pas une et cramée qui plus est. mais bon le restaurant est plein de touristes qui passent et on peu de change d y retourner. Je suis très déçue de notre dernier repas à Lisbonne.

Tuvimos que esperar mucho hasta que nos sirvieron la cena, muchísimo!! casi nos levantamos y nos vamos, después de tanta espera, la comida no estuvo a la altura.

밤에는 파두 공연을 합니다. 9시 좀 넘으니 하는거 같아요. 저희는 앞집에 줄서있다가 파두가 아닌걸 알고 이집으로 갔습니다. 한사람당 25유로씩 받으시고 음식을 시키면 그가격만큼 제외하는 시스템이더군요. 저희는 저녁을 먹고가서 화이트 와인과 올리브만 간단히 시켰습니다. 나중에 다른 테이블에서 먹는 치즈케잌이 맛나보여 추가했습니다. 올리브와 함께 주시는 홍합이 안주로 딱이더군요. 주인장이 파두가수셨나봅니다. 주인장 할아버지와 여자 파디스트 한분 , 기타리스트 한분이 차례로 공연을 하다가 나중엔 여자가수분과 기타리스트 합동공연으로 끝이 납니다. 포르투갈 정통 기타 연주자가 한분 더 계시고 연주가 저는 무척 마음에 들었어요. 파두공연 잘 봤습니다. 하지만 여기가 25유로의 가치가 있는것인가 하는 물음은 어쩔수 없을듯 합니다.

Arnaque a touristes ! Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux avis des "local guides" qui encensent cet endroit mais consultez les très nombreux avis a 1 etoile, qui reflètent, eux, la réalité : médiocre et hors de prix !

Tarifs touristes. Cadre sans raffinement annonçant une cuisine sans finesse.
Près de 18 € le plat végétarien ultra basique : riz quelconque recouvert d’un d’un poivron vert bouilli, plat de pâtes aux légumes guère plus appétant. Rajouter les couverts à 3 euros, les amuse-gueules servis d’office à 6 €, le concert 5€ et le vin à partir de 25 euros la bouteille. La carte n’étant "pas à jour" on vous propose une bouteille à… 35 €. Si encore le cadre s’y prêtait…

N'y entrez pas! La déception est au menu! L'accueil peut sembler familial, mais la cuisine tient de l'amateurisme. Le tout facturé à un tarif prohibitif.
Bon, le fado (5€) est plutôt sympa, mais les mignardises de bienvenue à 9€ vous mettent dans l'ambiance.
Les viandes se rapprochent plus d'une bonne semelle usagée. Mais aurez un généreux nappage de sauce pour faire glisser.
Les accompagnements à minima, guère savoureux...
Puisque la carte des vins est obsolète aux dire du patron, c'est alors lui qui propose les breuvages et leur prix invérifiables...
Non franchement, dans ce "restaurant", on se paye votre poire et vous resterez comme deux ronds de flan devant la note.

Rapport qualité prix très moyen. Je m'attendais à autre chose surtout pour ce prix là. 2 verres et 2 plats 50€. Attention ils font payer systématiquement le pain et les olives donc il faut préciser au moment de l'addition si oui ou non vous y avez touché car en fin de repas tout est encore sur la table. Passer votre chemin, c'est un conseil d'ami. Cdlt.

Kilka dni temu odwiedziłem tę rodzinną restaurację. Ja zamówiłem ośmiornicę i była na prawdę pyszna. Białe wino do kolacji też było smaczne. Dostaliśmy poczęstunek (chleb i masło) który póżniej został rozliczony jako serwis (kilka Euro), ale w innych restauracjach w Portugalii było to standardem. Grał na gitarze i śpiewał podajrze właściciel (pełnił funkcję kelnera), a później dołączyła do śpiewu żona (tego wieczoru gotowała). Nie znam portugalskiego, ale zdaniem moim i żony pięknie śpiewali. Ceny rzeczywiście są wyższe niz w innych restauracjach, ale Fado na żywo też kosztuje - osobna pozycja w rachunku lub wyższe ceny dań lub wina.

ROUBADA!!!! Se têm um estabelecimento que eu NÃO indico é esse!
A carne era de péssima qualidade, dura e cheia de gordura, o alho do bacalhau veio queimado causando gosto amargo, além disso o bacalhau é cozido.
Já o atendimento foi péssimo, além da comida cara e ruim, os "profissionais" foram desonestos conosco querendo cobrar itens não consumidos e discutindo conosco na frente dos demais clientes, muito deselegante e sem educação.
Como se não bastassem estas reclamações, as louças e os talheres estavam sujos, deu nojo comer lá.
Definitivamente MINHA experiência fui muito ruim para MIM este lugar NÃO vale a pena mesmo... rasguei dinheiro!
Não é a toa que este é o único Fado da região que não se precisa fazer reserva... sempre tem disponibilidade... já era de se imaginar o motivo...

Food was overpriced and far from great, service was lacking, and tableware didn't even match at a 2 person table. They nicked and dimed us for absolutely everything. Out of 2 weeks of traveling across Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, this was the worst meal we had. We were recommended this restaurant by someone from Clube de Fado down the road, and then when we were walking back we saw him again and asked why he would recommend this restuarant and if he had ever eaten there. He said because he thought it was good, but that he had never eaten there.

Tourist trap on sitting down olives, tinned mussels and peas also bread slapped down, not asked for but 9 EUR charged for (butter is 3 EUR). Surprised to be charged 5 EUR per person for Fado and then have the 15 EUR CD pushed on us. The main meal of Salmon and Veal had to be eaten in the dark and we and other patrons were chastised during fado singing. Despite being a cool night the inside was steamy hot almost stifling. The 25 EUR bottle of wine was almost undrinkable.Total bill of 96 EUR was outrageous and an insult to Portugal's hospitality and Fado. Wish I could say love from Australia.
We have had other meals in Lisbon and Sitra that were world class and only 30 EUR more. How this place has 4 stars is a joke and beyond me had to give it one star as zero is not an option :-(.

Pedi um prato do cardápio pescada com purê de batatas e molho de camarão. O garçom veio a mesa pedir desculpas pois não havia purê de batatas. Quando o prato chegou não havia molho de camarão questionei o garçom que o peixe estava com molho de tomates. E a chefe veio a mesa numa atitude profundamente grosseira perguntando se queríamos ensiná-la ou se sabíamos o que era molho. Mais grave do que colocar no cardápio um prato que a casa não tinha condições de oferecer foi a postura muito deselegante da chefe que não sabe ser questionada nem falar com respeito ao cliente. Existem muitas outras opções em Lisboa não perca tempo nem dinheiro no Coração da Sé.

Péssimo atendimento. A chef de cozinha é muito deselegante. É cobrada consumação mínima de 25 Euros com poucas opções de pratos caríssimos ! Uma pegadinha portuguesa com certeza ! Não vá !!!

Restaurante familiar de trato muy agradable. Buen ambiente con fados... todo muy correcto teniendo en cuenta que hay actuación , aunque el precio de la vinos es un poco alto. Ha sido muy entrañable.

Very unpleasant food. Told to be quite to listen to not particularly interesting music. LuvhtL turned off so couldn't see what we were eating. Wrong dish turned up. Over priced.
When someone went to the bathroom all the lights came on. Very strange.

Very nice server but unfortunately the food was HORRIBLE....the fish was hard as rock, I don’t think I have ever had fish with this texture. And even the broccoli was OVERcooked, all without much taste and cost around 18€, then when the bill comes, they have charged 9€ for the bread and olives etc, and I thought oh well at least I got to hear Fado, even if the food cost a bit more at least fado was included, but NO, they charged an extra 6€ for that. So a total of 15€ I had no idea that I will be charged. They really need to think about hiring another chef, as you cannot serve this quality of food at this price!!!

Buscando un sitio de fado, al principio dudamos un poco pero al ver el trato amable de si dueño decidimos entrar, muy recomendable, el lugar es entrañable, sus dueños un encanto y el cantante de fado te pone los pelos de punta, volvería una y mil veces. Me gustaría que Lisboa y Alfama nunca perdieran ese encanto. Maravilloso.

Simplesmente horrível. Caríssimo e sem qualquer qualidade. Fechem de imediato ou retirem a palavra fado deste restaurante. O fado é património da humanidade e não merece este espaço que alegadamente utiliza erradamente o seu nome. Portugal, a cidade de Lisboa e o turismo nacional agradecem.

O design do interior não combina com o serviço. A comida é excessivamente cara e a qualidade dos pratos deixa muito a desejar. O espectáculo de fado foi uma surpresa muito desagradável. O melhor a fazer é não reservar e ver e ouvir os shows antes de decidir jantar.

The fado music is really nice. The food and wine were of poor quality. The bill was a big surprise: 6 euro for a glass of wine of 10cc, 6 euro's for a bottle of water and 10 euro extra for the fado music.

Our first night out in Lisbon and we thought we should try this fado restaurant in the neighborhood. Big disappointment which ended up in nervous laughter for me and my daughter. Elderly waiter non communicative, food inedible (pork was undercooked), heavily over priced. The wine we chose they didn't have (27 €) instead we were recommended a different one (we thought it would be in the same price range) of 40 € a bottle. Only found out when received the bill. Payed 96 euros for a dish with pork and a asparagus salad to be shared between 2 people. And the wine ofcourse...
The one star I am giving goes to the young singer who had a beautiful voice . Unfortunately the elderly waiter also sung.
All in all not good

Muy lindo lugar, cómodo, los artistas maravillosos, precios muy acordes, solo 5 euros por persona para el espectáculo y los platos entre 15 y 25 euros
Y te sirven una con sumisión con salsas pan y agua al llegar por 5 euros

Read the other reviews. They bring you things you didn't ask for and charge for them. Food was a joke. Stuffed pepper soaked in vinegar 17€. Blood sausage, literally 6 or 7 thin slices, 10€

Jedzenie dobre, muzyka również. Co ciekawe, wykonawcami są właściciele i pracownicy. A może jest na odwrót i muzycy gotują i podają do stolików. Zazwyczaj czekają z muzyką aż sala będzie wypełniona gośćmi.

Специально не выбирали это заведение,а просто зашли с мужем спонтанно туда,где не нужна была резервация,чтобы послушать фадо. Ничего плохого не могу сказать про обслуживание и исполнение фадо. Все показалось вполне душевным. А вот еда там отвратительная! Стейк невозможно было даже разрезать,а микроскопическая порция лосося оказалась сухой и костлявой. К тому же эта еда не стоит тех денег,которые за нее хотят.

This place is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. We experienced three groups walking out while we were there They did not have any wine listed on the menu and tried to charge us 100 Euros for a wine worth 5 US Dollars, according to Vivino. The food was terrible, even though we ordered their recommended grilled octopus. My brothers steak was extremely tough. The service was rediculous. We asked for water three times before receiving it. Do NOT go there. We received a bill for 139 Euros for 4 dinners, no appetizers and and 3 glasses of house wine. This place is a real scam. Our Uber driver told us, on the way back, that this place is known for poor service and terrible food. There were bugs on the table that we were killing during the show. Avoid this place!!!

Avant tout si vous réservez demandez d être bien placé, d ou j étais je voyais pas grand chose , que les chanteurs de dos quand je pouvais voir au dessus des clients à côté , la porte était tt le temps ouverte je me pelais , et j étais coincé ,comme une sardine portuguaise dans sa bonne vieille boîte de conserve! L assiette était correcte(17 e)pour une morue ,comptez 8 e de plus pour l apéro et l eau , le fado était sympa, dommage qu' il n y ait pas eu des chanteuses, le niveau des chanteurs pas exceptionnel, surtout le plus âgé qui devait débuter; quand le premier ne criait pas , à la place de chanter mais 5mn de fado m aurait suffi largement quant aux musiciens , ils étaient fort

Estuve con otra persona hace un par de meses. Es un sitio pequeño, pocas mesas, cálido, muy acogedor, íntimo. La comida deliciosa, los vinos excelentes, y muy buenos precios (otros lugares cobran cantidades exageradas en espacios más grandes, con más gente y bulliciosos). Gozamos un show de fado con 5 artistas distintos, excelente, emocionante, bellísimo. Cuando los artistas están en escena, se crea un ambiente de silencio y respeto absoluto para con ellos, la música y el fado. Es un tributo al fado, íntimo y espectacular. Muy recomendado.

Please do a favour to yourself, listen Fado on YouTube and go to a proper restaurant instead. The fish was disgusting, not fresh at all, the wine was cheap - and we paid 120 Eur for 2. Musicians played only 10 fado songs - we arrived at 8, waiting for dinner until 9.15 and at 10 we were kicked out of the place. There are so many good restaurants in Lisbon, be more lucky than we were and find a better place to eat.

The food too expensive for the quality. Then, when they started play fado, they send us out with a baby of two years. Better say it before that you need absolutely silence for this music. Remember that is a restaurant not a theatre.

Das schlechteste Restaurant der letzten Jahre. Touristenabzocke!!! Ungeniessbares Essen. Nicht bestelltes Brot und ebenfalls nicht bestellte miserable Vorspeise (Oliven etc.) zu unglaublichen Preisen berechnet. Wenn null Sterne möglich wären - dann null!

Locale piccolo e tranquillo.
Pietanze tipiche portoghesi molto gustose.
Menù con prezzi un po' cari, ma ne vale la pena per il servizio offerto (incluso nel prezzo) con la musica fado di bravissimi musicisti e cantanti che si esibiscono all'interno del locale. Da considerare!

Visited here monday midnight to eat. The singers were amazing and the service was good. However the food was mediocre and the prices are michelin star grade. Nothing you would expect at this expense.

Clavada segura
El viernes pasado estuvimos cenando en el restaurante Coracao da Sé, no suelo escribir reseñas malas, pero esta merece una atención. Pasamos a la tarde a reservar para las 22 horas, nos aseguraron que nuestra mesa estaría en tiempo y forma. Llegamos 21:30 y el sitio estaba lleno, por lo que decidimos tomar una cañas fuera en una mesa que tenían, el camarero nos comunicó que en breve la mesa se desocuparía, pasadas las 22 hs, nos volvió a reiterar lo mismo, a las 22:30 h lo mismo por lo que pedimos otra segunda caña... Así hasta las 23:20h que por fin nos dieron una mesa...
Al llegar la cuenta SORPRESA, cada caña la cobraron a 6 euros!. No tuvieron ni intensión de regalarlos una ronda por la espera... pero no solo eso, en la mesa había unos aperitivos de aceitunas y zanahorias babys... (8 euros por el aperitivo) y otro tanto por el pan...
El fado y la comida están bien, pero todo el resto hace que uno se sienta estafado!!! Precios muy caros.

Uma experiência que enche o coração! Desde a maravilhosa e aconchegante comida ao fabuloso fado, com interpretações excepcionais que há muito não tinha oportunidade de ouvir.
Numa casa de fados, o ambiente é tudo e, o Coração da Sé tem o ambiente perfeito, faz-nos sentir como se estivéssemos em família. E que bom que é!

Nie wieder, das war die größte Touristenabzocke die wir je erlebt haben!!!!!!! Wir waren mit 12 Personen dort, haben 2 Stunden auf ein Essen gewartet, was teilweise nicht genießbar war. Der Wein wurde aus einem naheliegender Kiosk geholt, Dort kostete der Rotwein 2,90€ verkauft wurde er für 25.00 . Ich habe sowas ungezogenes, auch im Ausland noch nicht erlebt . Wir haben für diese ganze Nummer 350.00€ ohne Trinkgeld bezahlt, unvorstellbar

some years ago we met the brilliant Fabio there. le garcon who was best ever. during our one week stay in lisboa we went there every evening with excellent food good wine and good music an wonderful Fabio. we'll be back!

Very pleasant fado venue, the food was great and the prices very reasonable, we enjoyed a good selection of wines and live music. We plan to go back to Lisbon very shortly and will certainly return to this lovely place.
