Man with hands of gold! I was a bit worried when I got there as construction was going on outside but inside was very clean and zen and beautiful! Antonio was great! very relaxing and I felt reborn after all the walking in Lisbon. very Intuitive man knew exactly where to apply pressure! Will return to Portugal just for another Massage!

After I had an amazing spa by a guy named Luis at Another massage place the day before, I wanted to try another therapist to see if Lisbon has something special going on. Nope. I was just lucky the day before. Antonio is very nice and his place is elegant and exactly what you want in a massage space (cur the New Age music and neutral colors) Alas his technique, while not horrible, is boring. I made the mistake of telling him I had some tension in places and he literally would go to one of those spots and slowly -SLOWLY — run his finger along the muscle for like 10 minutes and then do it again. I finally had to stop him after he wasted Neary 30 min of my 90 min massage on on muscle. And he wasn’t even doing it hard. Just slow. I told him I wanted my whole body massaged and he was making me tense just focusing on that one. After that it was better. But nothing special. I’m not going to tell you the name of the other spa ... but here are clues ... it’s in the middle of a square in a tent. And the guy’s name is Luis. It will change your life.

Antonio is a wonderful massage therapist - he tailored my deep tissue massage to suit my needs. The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing (and spotless!) Highly recommend.

Well, clearly I was not expecting that! While being in Lisbon, I thought I would indulge myself with a little massage, looked on the internet for the available options and found Antonio on Trip Advisor with an incredible number of positive reviews! Usually, I always go to spas and massage centres, but here I thought why not give a try to this personal masseur apparently mega appreciated. Well, I don't regret my decision. Complete different experience than the usual "commercial" spas, nobody around to distract you or check you out, full intimacy, and truly personalised and relaxing massage. And Antonio is so welcoming and easy-going. You don't feel like a mere client, but like THE client. And I think that makes all the difference. It's a bit like buying a fully-tailored suit instead of a standard-sized one at H&M, lol ;) The only down is that, because of his local popularity, I had to book my session 2 days in advance. Well, I guess that the price of success!! But clearly worth the waiting!
