I think the best way to explain how good as a surf instructor Rico is, is to tell the story of my friend who came to Portugal with me and initially said that, in contrast to me, he is not interested at all in making this a full-week surf trip and that he´ll just give it a one-day shot. Within our small group of surf beginners and intermediates it quickly became a running gag that he would ask Rico, the surf instructor, whether he can join one last time on the next day. Long story short, due to the great surf spot guidance, the amazing coaching itself and a great overall introduction to the surfing sport (including visiting a board manufacturer, video analysis etc.), my friend had no no other choice than make it a full week surf trip (with amazing progress btw) ;-) Cheers to Rico and his team for the experience, keep up the good work and the enthusiasm! Rico is a verry hod surf teacher. Not only he have the surf skill also the sozial skill is impressiv he know how 2 motivate. Try it!

Great time with Surf Taxi Peniche! I booked “surf guiding” as I was in Peniche only for one day, had no board, no car, and no idea where to go. They hooked me up with a nice board and wetsuit, and got me straight to a good spot. Perfect setup for a quick timeframe. We checked the surf at a couple sites, and picked one with better waves that matched my level of skill well. Thanks Surf Taxi! I will come again!

Booked beginner class and had an amazing time. Small group, excellent instructor (Rico), would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn to surf.

Ausgesprochen netter und persnölicher Unterricht, kleine Gruppe, gute Atmosphäre. Tolle Überraschungen und immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Es wird keine Mühe gescheut einen möglichst guten und passenden Spot zu finden. Jeder kommt auf seine Kosten. Danke Rico!

Me and my friends spent an awesome week with Surf Taxi Peniche. The guides are super friendly, well prepared and know what theyre doing. We surfed at a variety of spots depending on the conditions. The lessons were not only very practical but, thanks to the guys, we also had a lot of fun in the water, as well as after the sessions. Our surfing skills have improved a lot. :) They also know the region inside out and gave us some great tips about the activities around the area. We will definitely come back next year!

I spent a couple of days with surf taxi when I first arrived to Peniche. Went on the guided surf trips with them, checked out all the spots and of course surfed some really nice waves :) The guides are all very helpful and professional. I say it's a good option if you need transportation and lessons in addition to your stay, but don't want to live in a surf camp.
