Lua Nua is an amazing place. The rooms are stylish and very clean, the hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home from the very first minute. The poolside is beautiful and stunning beaches are not far from Lua Nua. Highly recommended.

We just finished a 3-day stay at Lua Nua, and I must say everything was great; we were sorry to leave. Franck and Christophe were perfect hosts. They're very knowledgeable about the region and had excellent recommendations for local sights and restaurants. They even hosted a very convivial dinner one evening for all of the guests. The room was very modern, well designed. It's an excellent location for visiting the Costa Vicentina, and the Algarve is within easy reach too, but if you want to just stay put and relax the pool and garden are lovely.

Beautiful yet thoroughly homely hotel in stunning natural surroundings. Franck and Christophe made us feel as though we were staying with friends.

If the paradise exists on Earth, do not look further I give you the keyword: Lua Nua. My husband and I were had the privilege to discover this place soon after its opening and there is no doubt that we will visit this place again. Frank and Christophe are amazing hosts always ready to help. We quickly feel at home. Christophe cooks extremely well and Frank is always nice to talk with. We can also mention the gorgeous swimming pool and the nice beaches around but... Don't spread the word... it is our paradise ;).

Wir können uns nur den anderen Rezensionen anschließen...... einfach toll. Wer runter kommen möchte und Ruhe sucht, in absoluter Natur, der ist hier richtig. Ein ganz großes Lob an die Gastgeber, so etwas herzliches haben wir noch nirgends erfahren. Wir werden ganz sicher in kürze und auch in der Zukunft wieder hier her kommen. We had the best 3 nights stay in Portugal here. We will be back next year for longer. Where to start the guys were the perfect hosts with great travel tips in the area. The breakfasts were great and the evening meal they arranged for all the guests was superb great home cooked food. They sat with us. It felt like being at a friends for dinner we all laughed so much. The rooms are super comfortably and the design is modern and very clean. Of course my favourite thing was the clothes optional pool. It is such a tranquil place to hangout. The gardens are beautiful. I loved this place and highly recommend anyone that wants to recharge themselves to stay. Thanks again Lua Nua. Paul and Ricardo xx

Amazing gay boutique hotel. Extremely friendly, lovely food, very comfortable rooms and great swimming pool. Hosts were incredibly friendly, making you feel very welcome and comfortable. Perfect quiet location close to amazing beaches. I will definitely be back. Loved it and highly recommend to anyone.

Very clean rooms, nice decoration, constant hot water in shower and very comfortable beds. Good location. Easy to drive to the beautiful beaches along Costa Vicentina. Beautiful big pool. So nice to chill nakedly in there. Such a perfect place to socialize with guys with some drinks. The hosts are very friendly. They were eager to help you with recommendation of restaurants and beaches. Breakfast was delicious and every morning had something different. The atmosphere is great. The guests were polite, well-traveled, open-minded and fun. It was so easy to connect with the rest of the guests in breakfast and in the pool. It was a great experience to watch the galaxy in the night. Impressive! My bf and I love it here. Will come back again!

Après avoir suivi les recommandations et utilisé son gps, l’on arrive au chemin de terre de Lua Nua; hésitation vu son état mais 1,5km plus loin l’on découvre un havre de paix, accueilli par Christophe, Franck et Marco et l’on a plus qu’une envie, déconnecter et plonger dans la piscine à 28 degré, ou l’on peut nager les yeux ouverts sous l’eau, laissant habits et «soucis » au vestiaire... Endroit merveilleux, belles chambres blanches avec tout le confort souhaité, un petit déjeuner qui vu son « excellence » nécessite des longueurs de natation sans oublier le dîner commun une fois par semaine ou le chef Christophe se surpasse! Merci et encore bravo à tous les trois, mais en fait on aurait dû écrire que du mal pour garder l’endroit secret! Abraços e bjos ! Fabrice et Michel

Petit paradis sur terre, tenu par des passionnés, un régal !!!

Lua Nua made us extremely happy. Christophe, Franck and Marco are three creative and couragious men who converted an old estate in an Alantejo forest into a small state-of-art guesthouse for men. With their exquisite taste, excellent sense of hospitality and informal manners, you make new friends when you stay a few or more nights with them. One night, Christophe prepared a wonderful dinner with local sourced products and we had a great evening with all the guests. The scenery is just magical and worth going to Lua Nua. We definitely will come back.

Lua Nua is truly a place of relaxation, of camaraderie and of discovery. It is beautifully situated with only the stars, the birds, the forest and the singing frogs for distraction. The welcome is warm and generous of spirit. Shared breakfasts of home cooking, freshly made juice and lots of locally-sourced foods were a great way to start the day. A real highlight is the optional evening meals with a chance to meet and dine with your fellow guests. The surrounding region is a beautiful rural green area of Portugal with varied opportunities for sightseeing, hiking, coastal walks, unpretentious local dining and lovely local villages. The hosts, Franck, Marco and Christophe have great knowledge of the area and are happy to provide any information and tips you'd like. The nearby Rota Vincentina offers hours of easy coastal hiking with breathtaking views of the Atlantic. All in all, a great place to get away and recharge.

Myself and my partner recently had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Lua Nua which is set right in the heart of the stunning South West coast of Portugal (an absolute must see area when visiting Portugal). We loved our stay and were so warmly welcomed and hosted by Christophe & Franck, who went out of their way to accommodate any and all requests. We loved the attention to detail and you can just see the care and love they put in, to make this a very special and secluded getaway. Me and my partner would highly recommend a stay here! A little piece of paradise not far from the city. No doubt we will be back!! :)

Wonderful environment, very good food, nice modern rooms and, on top, a very friendly and warm welcome. The owners are very much attentive to the gests wellbeing, easy going educated world citizens. Same for the gests we met during our one week stay. We will repeat, of course, and we strongly recommend LUANUA to all our friends Thank you, Christophe, Franck and Marco I add my parnter's comments We have known about this boutique hotel by a flyer given to us, last March, somewhere in Lisbon. We were very curious about it, so we telephoned to know when could we go there for a weekend. We were told that it was possible the second week of June. After some information exchange we arrange to get there for that second week. And off we went. Meanwhile we realised that maybe we could disrupt the average age of the clients, as we are already in the 70's. But at our arrival there, we felt as recommended by old friends of the owners of the place as they receive us most kindly and friendly. Hey!!!! not so young possible clients never hesitate to go there if you want it. P.S: We made even friends with the wild cat that lives free, for many years, in the property.

Very nice place in the middle of nowhere. Total relaxation. Heated pool was very nice and the breakfast and dinner was very well prepared. We will be back for sure!
