Woher kommen bitte die ganzen positiven Bewertungen?
Entweder hatten wir einfach nur Pech und das falsche Zimmer bekommen oder die Menschen verlieren langsam das Gefühl für Sauberkeit.
Kurz zusammengefasst:
Es war sehr dreckig!!!! Besonders der Schimmel im Bad hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ich brauche nicht viel mehr zu schreiben. Bitte die Bilder anschauen, diese sagen mehr als tausend Worte.

It's very peaceful fabulous views and very clean apartments. Downside some of the reception staff at the hotel are not nice and not welcoming other than that it's excellent

When we arrived the lift didn’t work in the main building which was an ordeal climbing 4 stories with no assistance, the signage around the hotel is nearly none existent took us 2 days to find the pizza restaurant and mini market, the poolside area around the cliff top pool was very uneven and broken in places, we expected to have lunch and booked dinner at Canico Resturant (the Canico owner manages the cliff top and restaurant) but cancelled as we were going to be charged by Canico €8 per sun bed! As I guest spending €1000’s during our 6 night stay you’ve have thought sun beds were free??? apart from these points it was OK
Would we stay again mmm not sure as there are other places in the area

Já foi mais calmo e cuidado. Hoje em dia a administração faz tudo por lucros e não olha a meios. Festas constantes tiram a calma e vão destruindo o local. Não tarde e temos festas de finalistas tipo Marina D’Or como aliás já houve na piscina há dois anos...

I love the position and the swimming pool is beautiful. The hotel is very tired though and the facilities are poor. Position is great and I would stay there again as amenities are available elsewhere. There are no recycling facilities which is a shame.

Ich habe hier nicht das hotel oder die Anlage bewertet sondern Aqua dream eine Art von orientalischer sauna mit schöner bade Landschaft einfach toll .Sie ist teil vom Hotel ! Toll auch als Abend Programm mit Massage ! Und der Preis war auch Super .

Um aldeamento turístico com bastantes anos que continua a ser bom. Tem uma piscina super bem localizada com vista mar e uma pequena praia privada muito bonita.

Nos hemos hospedado en una villa y no lo volvemos hacer mas
Las instalaciones están muy dejadas, las pistas de tenis super descuidadas, las piscinas bien
El acceso a la playa bien y la calita es lo mejor que tiene el hotel sin dudas
La presión de las duchas es de vergüenza, casi no sale agua caliente y en nuestra estancia de 3 días no han puesto ni una sola vez ni una simple pastilla de jabón, una vergüenza
La cocina es la correcta
Daba la sensación de habernos quedado en una villa de los años 70, sin ninguna modificación
Vamos mucho a esa zona y normalmente nos quedamos en otro hotel pero dado la fama que tenía este hotel por eso Lo hemos cogido esta vez, nuestra primera y última vez
Y wifi ni esta ni se le espera

Ein sehr große Anlage mit unterschiedlichen Wohnungen. Bungalows in Richtung Strand, Apartment-Hotel im vorderen Bereich. Zimmer waren gut und geräumig. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat für mich gepasst (Nebensaison). Vom Hauptgebäude an der Straße sind es ein paar Minuten Fußweg bis zum Prainha Strand, der wirklich schön ist. Oberhalb des Strandes gibt es ein großen öffentlichen Pool. Das Hotel selbst verfügt auch über ein Pool.
Die Küche der Apartments ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Kaffeemaschine ist vorhanden (mit Kapseln - zwei liegen auf dem Zimmer, weitere gibt es im Supermarkt auf dem Gelände).
Restaurants habe ich nicht genutzt.

Были в сентябре с 23 по 30, 2018году.....
Когда заехали двери Апартаментов открывали с опаской, незнала что получим(кота в мишке),а оказалось ВАУ и Ещё раз ВАУ.....ВСЕ БЫЛИ В ШОКЕ!!!! Такой террасы мы неожидал!!!
А вид с террасы ещё ПРЕЛЕСНЕЕ!!!
НАМ ПОНРАВИЛОСЬ И ОЧЕНЬ!!!

Posto stupendo. Prati con erba verdissima su cui camminare in libertà, piscine a volontà anche se non è il caso di usufruirne visto che una scala interna al club porta a un mare splendido.

Un sitio espectacular, el apartamento limpio, con la cocina justa para cocinar durante una semana, una habitacion comoda y con colchones confortables, piscina grande y tranquila, acceso directo a una pequeña playa, que por poner una pega, se llena mucho de gente y tiene muchas piedras, pero es una cala muy bonita que a partir de las 19:00 se vacia y se esta muy bien. En general un sitio muy bueno para pasar en familia. El pueblo de Alvor esta a 30 min andando y Portimao a otros 40 min andando, para ir a dar un paseo y cenar esta bien. Con zonas verdes para que los niños jueguen, pistas de tenis,futbol y padel. Me ha encantado, 100% recomendable.

Tiene una de las mejores playas. La limpieza de habitaciones justita y solo te dan jabón para ducha la primera vez, luego o te quejas o te espabilas. Pero piscinas geniales!!

Só há internet gratuita no hotel. No aldeamento não. Com os preços que cobram justificava'-se wi-fi gratuito em todo o aldeamento. A piscina do hotel precisa de alguma recuperação. As cadeiras da mesma tb deveriam ser substituídas.

Children and family friendly. You Do not need a car as you have everything near. You go walking to the beach. You have a private lift to the beach that is beautiful. Amazing swimming pool. Good restaurants.

Double stanards in the pool, some kids told not to play with inflatables, while ok for others, apply same rules for all.Let the kids play, stop being so authoritarian !!!
In the end, kids all stopped getting in the pool because they weren't allowed to do anything.

Location was great, very close to amazing beaches. The pool was nice but the rest of the facilities were poorly maintained, the basketball net was broken the tennis courts were a mess. The rooms were not very comfortable and the beds were very hard to sleep on and the pillows were not existent. Food was a bit of a problem. The grocery store was not stocked well but you could get yogurt and fruit for breakfast or else you have to leave the complex each time for breakfast restaurants that weren’t that close. The pool side restaurant was good enough for lunch. Overall the beaches were great however the complex itself was two stars.

VERGONZOSO! Un hotel de 4 estrellas NO tiene esas camas tan deformes.
Nos alojamos en un apartamento de la tercera planta y fueron las 5 noches más horribles que recuerde en un hotel. El descanso fue nulo!!!
El frigorífico hacía un ruido horrible, parecía que hubiese grillos en el apartamento del ruido que hacía permanente. Aún cerrando la puerta de la habitación se escuchaba.
Y qué decir de la piscina infinita... “gracias” a unos matorrales, las vistas son infinitas a ellos en lugar de al mar.
No recomiendo para NADA este hotel. Relación calidad-precio NULA por completo, al igual del descanso en estos días de vacaciones.

I stayed in the self carering apartments they are huge and well equipped. Clean towels and bedding. Miss Pasta lovely restaurant. Onsite supermarket small and expensive. Use the one in alvor plus there is aldi there if you prepare that. It's 20 mins walk away or taxi is 5euro. Ideal location for beach and beach bars. Pool is really nice

Beautiful well kept place and very clean. To us there was nothing to be picky about and I would easily come back. Beautiful views along with good food with Alvor just a stones throw away. To us the staff will go out of their way to help you even though your English is not so good. I would go back within a heart beat. We went on in the end of April start of May for a week and it was nice and quite, just the way we like it...

The hotel was just in the process of being painted for the summer and was very quiet. The area is undergoing a lot of development but there are nice beaches and quiet places if you have a car. We had a one bedroom suite which felt slightly dated but fittings were in good condition and it had a nice balcony and view. The grounds are extensive with 2 pools a cave type beach bar, great little cove beach, cliffs and large grass areas. There was also a playground and tennis courts.The kitchen was adequate for occasional meals but had no proper oven and the two electric rings performed poorly, Slight annoyances were the coffee maker needed you to purchase their coffee pods, no free wi- fi in the room and they wanted 15 euros a week for the safe. We were a single couple but this would be a great place for a family as long as you have a car or just want to stay on site.

Spotlessly clean. Bright, crisp, rooms with well equipped kitchen/diner. Fab swimming pools. Quiet and peaceful. Very kind helpful staff. The only thing I think would improve pool access is a hand rail by the steep steps down to the pool area. Definitely returning next year .

The prainha clube is very well located and the facility by itself is great. Heres the bad comment about this place. The breakfast wasnt very good and too expensive. We stay there 2 nights and werent capable to sleep due to a very uncomfortable mattress. You know when you feel the spring and my wife weight only 105lbs.. we informed the staff the next morning and they didnt do anything... very bad experience

Das Hotel stammt vermutlich aus den 70ern und das sieht man ihm auch an. Die Zimmer sind auf den Fotos weit besser präsentiert als dann in Wirklichkeit. Katastrophal sind die Fliesen in Bad und Küche, alle total schief von Haus aus oder schief verlegt. Die Möbel sind abgewohnt, den Kleiderschrank haben wir erst gar nicht benutzt. Balkon/Terrasse ist riesig, allerdings fehlt der direkte Zugang zum Pool vom Erdgeschoss. Auch dort sind teilweise Risse in den Fliesen und dem Mauerwerk. Reinigung war immer in Ordnung, Handtuch/Bettwäschewechsel hat stattgefunden. Allerdings waren Haare auf der Bettdecke zu finden. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr bemüht bei der Ankunft. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr sehr groß und weitläufig. Die Liegen am Pool sind gratis, aber auch schon sehr alt. Plätze gibt es immer. Die Liegen am Atlantikpool sind kostenpflichtig €8/Tag und sind somit reichlich vorhanden. Es gibt unter den Bäumen genug Liegeplätze. Der Strand ist über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Direkt vor dem Restaurant ist viel los. Auf Flut & Ebbe achten, oft sind die Liegeplätze schnell überschwemmt.

The Prainha Clube needs a make over, it has become very shabby and is definitely not 4 Star.
This is the third time I have stayed here and on this occasion I am very disappointed. The sun beds need replaced and the towels are only changed every 3 days. I would definitely not stay here again. There are much nicer places to stay in Alvor.

Das Hotel war nur noch spärlich belegt. Es war deutlich zu spüren, dass das Hotel zwei Tage später Winterruhe hatte. Das Hotel ist sonst aber gut und ansprechend.Der Pool ist spitze und der Strand ist mit Aufzug zu erreichen. Es hat Buchten und lange Sandstrände.

Déçu à notre arrivée car ne correspondait pas aux photos vues sur expédia qui induisent en erreur.Point de petits appart ds style petites maisons à deux étages avec patio pr repas en extérieur. Immeuble un peu vétuste insonorisation nulle,le jour passait par la porte, chambres côté rue impression dormir sur le trottoir, balconnet impossible mettre table et chaises . Piscines, transats a rafraîchir et trop peu .heureusement tres belles plages à proximité. Appart assez grd literie très dure cuisine très mal équipée. femmes de service tres disponibles. Moyen pr un trois étoiles le cadre et environs on sauver nos vacances .

Changed my review after our most recent stay, while we love this place, it is in need of a serious makeover around the grounds (not the rooms, they are v nice). Facilities for children are very poor and the beds are like sleeping on concrete. The hill to the main beach is treacherous so mind your step. If you know someone staying here or you are staying in a villa then you will love it, if it's your first time then there are better places.

We arrived well after midnight and had no trouble checking in. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished. We received clean sheets and towels during our 6 day stay and the main room and bathroom was cleaned every day except Sunday. The kitchen area is for the guest to do. Kettle, hob, microwave and coffee maker supplied but no toaster and tea cups not mugs which came as a surprise. The shop on site has everything you need and is open every day. Meals can be taken in the hotel or at restaurants on site. The fantastic beach is a short walk and quite a few steps (a lift is available when the restaurant is open but there are still steps top and bottom) away.

We rented a house on the grounds of the hotel and were really pleased by the number of pools and restaurants in the area. It's a short walk to a great beach and Alvor town is a quick drive away. Have been back a few times and will go again.

Outstanding location, the Atlantic pool is a gem. Rooms kept very clean and with contemporary decorative styling were very pleasant. Some areas around the complex require maintenance and could do with some TLC. Stayed in August 2015 for 2 weeks. Close to golf, and all the fantastic beaches. Would stay again.

Cliff pool was very nice however the restaurant/bar extremely slow and understaffed. Rooms were cleaned 6 days a week with fresh towels. Hotel a bit tired and boring!

Fantastic location views and grounds and glad we stayed. Downside: Desk staff amazingly ignorant about surrounding area and were no help. Charged for every little thing including chaise by pool daily, wifi. Breakfast was only ok. These types of things were a pain but room and little terrace were neat. Loved the beach below.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war bei diesem Hotel gut bis sehr gut.Die Lage war für Strandferien excellent. Man ist von der Hotelanlage in wenigen Minuten an einem schönen Sandstrand. Das Hotel bietet auch zwei eigene Pools. Bei dem schönen Atlantica Pool muss jedoch für die Liegen bezahlt werden.Das Personal und die Portugiesen allgemein waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben einem stets gerne weitergeholfen.Bis auf die Küche war das Zimmer sauber. In der Küche haben wir vor dem benutzen das Geschirr zur Sicherheit nochmals abgewaschen. Die Küche war im allgemeinen nicht so sauber. Wir haben Abends aber immer auswärts gegessen.Das Hotel ist mit den Pools auch familienfreundlich. Ich würde es aber nicht als typisches Familienhotel beschreiben.Zuletzt würde ich ja nicht raten im Restaurant des Prainha Clube zu essen! Die Bedienung war schrecklich und das Essen alles aus Dosen. Die grösste Frechheit war dann die zu hohe Rechnung am Schluss des Abends! Die anderen Restaurants in der Hotelanlage sind jedoch gut.

Heutzutage geniesst jeder Gast die Verbindung ins Internet. Das ist wohl möglich im Prainha Hotel aber nur durch heut zu Tage sehr hohen Gebühren und nur in der Hotel Lobby. Die meisten Restaurants im Dorf bieten gratis Wifi an was dem heutigen Stand der Technik entspricht. Schade, dass das Hotel kein gratis Wifi anbietet . Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Prainha sehr genossen und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Also jeder Zeit wieder, hoffe die Internetgebühren können noch abgeschafft werden.
