Quinta muito agradável no meio do Algarve verdadeiramente rural. Éramos os únicos portugueses mas não foi isso por isso que nos sentimos mal. Tipicamente é um local que capta mais campistas de outras nacionalidades. Boa piscina, instalações e balneários impecáveis. A sensação de verdadeiro campismo com um delicioso acordar com o som dos passarinhos.

The campsite is owned and run by a Dutch Couple. The location is very quiet and the site immaculate 10/10. The Dutch owners 8/10 only because he can be a little Frosty but maybe just the Dutch way. The thick rile book you are handed on arrival dud not bother me because the rules are sensible and only common sense. Apart from the rule about no downloads or streaming, due to the very poor wifi so it's understandable too. It's mainly Dutch couples who use thus site and jeep coming back for mire year after year. So that's good that they enjoy it so much. There are 3 ways to drive into the camp. The short way for vehicles under 5 metres due to a sharp impossible turn under the railway viaduct for anything longer. Then there is for vehicles and caravans over 5 meters the longer way....they say approx 4km in length when it's actually 5.5 km along an unmade road very rough in parts with very steep climbs up and down. Not the kind of road that you would want to take a decent car along never mind towing a caravan in excess of 7 meters. I would warn that damage could quite easily happen to your car or caravan. Perhaps even a broken axle. Additionally if you were unlucky enough to meet a car towing a caravan coming the other way then you are stuffed as there in no way to reverse or pass. Think about that one. The owners say that it has never happened. I struggle to believe that. So would I go there again....No. A great deal of effort , time and money has been out into this lovely site but I'm afraid that the 5.5km rough, dusty ride to get to the camp is enough to put me off. large Motorhome drivers I suspect would fare better but it's a No for long caravans and I'm sorry to say that because it's a lovely site. It's better to drive the extra km to the Algarve.

Ein sehr ruhiger und sehr erholsamer Campingplatz in einer wunderbaren Lage. Die Besitzer und die Gäste waren sehr freundlich. Unbedingt die hauseigenen Oliven probieren, selten so gute gegessen!

Campingplatz sehr ruhig und abgelegen. Nur über Schotter-Piste erreichbar.

Super accueil, superbe endroit. Pas simple d'accès mais la contrainte vaut la peine. Le site est loin de tout bruit de tout. On est perdu dans les collines. Magnifique.

Een mooie rustige camping onverharde slechte weg om er te geraken

Jak dla mnie takie 4,5. Cichy, spokojny camping, mało ludzi, położony troszkę z dala od drogi, duży basen. Wielkim plusem była czystość łazienek, punkt ładowania urządzeń i lodówka. Cenowo tak sobie - 19,50 za dwie osoby, mały namiot i auto.

Très beau camping au calme avec vue magnifique sur les collines. Piscine très agréable avec pergola de glycine pour ombre. Propriétaires très très accueillants. Camping sensibilisé à l'écologie, respectueux de l'environnement, tri sélectif, explications sur économie d'eau. Propriétaire donne à l'arrivée un document réalisé par lui même sur écologie du lieu, circuit de l'eau potable (autosuffisance), visites intéressantes aux environs.... Quelques produits en vente (pain, vin, miel.... Pas de produits frais). Sanitaires très propres et spacieux. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour et sommes répartis avec regret.

A beautiful and quiet place to relax away from the overpopulated coast. Very clean and well organized. Good hiking/trail running opportunities from the campsite. There are a few unusual rules that are listed in an information booklet such as the 22:30 strictly no vehicle access. Beware if you dine out! Also there is very little shade so bring your own awning.

El sitio perfecto para descansar! Todo muy limpio y bien cuidado. No tienen supermercado,tienen una lista con algunas cosas que ellos te pueden facilitar. A unos 15 - 20 minutos hay un pueblo,aunque yo aconsejo ir bien preparado de todo.

Nous sommes venus malgré quelques commentaires négatifs que nous avons pu lire... et nous avons bien fait! Excellent accueil de la part des propriétaires qui entretiennent parfaitement leur camping. Il y a une très grande piscine 1,80 mètre de profondeur. Une zone pour charger les portables. 1 congélateur et 1 frigo en accès libre. Les sanitaires sont d'une propreté inégalable. Et le calme est propice au repos. Bref je recommande ++

Camping charmant au milieu de nulle part. Semble idéal pour se ressourcer et randonner. Sanitaires proprent et tri sélectif respecté. Le PROBLÈME : les propriétaires néerlandais sont peu agréable et font perdre tout charme au lieu. Aucun portugais, emplacements sans ombre. Un livret avec tous les interdits est donné à l’arrivée, cela donne le ton du séjour !! On nous dit où poser la tente, laver son linge est interdit, les barbecues interdit, étendre son linge aux arbres interdit, sauter ou manger autour de la piscine interdit, pas de bruit ou de voiture après 22h30 !! Heureusement nous n’avions pas de chien ... Beaucoup d’interdits formulés alors que le bon sens et le savoir vivre habituel des campeurs suffiraient. Cette attitude rend l’ambiance pesante et cela donne envie de prendre ses jambes à son coup !!

Hele fijne camping! Schoon, modern sanitair, ruime plekken, rustig en kleinschalig op een super mooie locatie in het binnenland. Persoonlijk welkom geheten door de Nederlandse eigenaar. Jammer dat we hier pas op de laatste nacht aankwamen, anders waren we zeker langer gebleven. Locatie ligt wel afgelegen dus het is handig als je vooraf al boodschappen bij hebt. Mocht je iets missen, de eigenaar heeft een voorraadje met standaard boodschappen te koop. Mooi zwembad. Er zijn 2 wegen om hier te komen. De eerste afslag (vanuit faro gezien) is het meest toegankelijk voor caravans. De tweede afslag volgt een bochtig, smal zandweggetje. Met onze mini campervan ging het prima. Maar het wordt wel lastig als je iemand tegen komt.

Een hele mooie camping met goede voorzieningen. Een prachtige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht. Gewoon goed begaanbaar als je niet bang bent voor een onverharde weg. Persoonlijk vonden wij de eigenaren niet veel warmte uitstralen maar wellicht zijn we hier erg gevoelig voor. Ze zijn wel zeer behulpzaam daar waar nodig en qua details en netheid is de camping top. Het bezoek aan deze camping is ons dus goed bevallen.

Een heel fijne camping met prachtige uitzichten en mooie grote plaatsen met veel privacy. Sanitair was goed met grote douches, maar alleen beperkt warm water. Ook een heel mooi groot zwembad. Persoonlijk vond ik de sfeer bij de eigenaren niet heel warm, een glimlach was ver te zoeken. Maar ze waren wel aardig en behulpzaam.

Parque de campismo rural com excelentes condições muito sossegado e ecologicamente responsável "tratamento de resíduos". Aceitam animais com trela, verde e limpo. O acesso pode ser mais difícil para veículos longos. Mas vale mesmo a pena a estadia! ☀️

Très beau camping rural au calme, très bien entretenu, et écologique. Le propriétaire est très accueillant. Les sanitaires sont très propres. La piscine avec vue sur les collines est impeccable. Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et comme point de chute près de Monchique pour randonner.

Solo decir que si vais con caravana no se os ocurra ir.Es un camping para tiendas o autocaravanas.Nosotros fuimos con caravana de 6 metros aproximadamente .El acceso es horrible ,un camino de tierra estrecho, con un barranco al lado con subidas y bajadas .Y para colmo nos encontramos un coche de frente , podeis imaginaros el miedo que pasamos,estabamos a 20cm del barranco.Cuando conseguimos llegar y se lo comente a la propietaria, nos dijo que habia otro camino un poco mas largo 5.5 km ,que era apto para caravanas.Pues bien deciros que era mas de lo mismo ,un poco mejor si ,en este no habia barranco,pero mas subidas y bajadas y tambien estrecho. Esta vez tuvimos suerte de no encontrarnos a nadie de frente.Pero estuve todo el camino con miedo y rezando. Hasta que llegamos a la carretera no respiramos tranquilos.El camping es bonito ,pero creo que deberian avisar del mal acceso para caravanas.

Local maravilhoso para um descanso retemperador. Local onde nós perdemos a noção do tempo, num casamento com a natureza. Bem hajam Theo e Bert pelo o magnífico espaço criado. De um asseio imaculado. Obrigado por aquilo que proporcionam. Vou voltar em breve. Até lá.

The place is stunning. Rural landscape, very quiet, a real hidden gem. The facilities are very clean and you get all you need, hot showers-toilets (bring your own paper), possibilty of washing your clothes (not free ofcourse), a swimmingpool, wifi and also a little booklet with the houserules, historical and geographical info of the neighborhood and some tips for restaurants and shops, super handy! The owners are very correct and gave us a nice proper welcoming, truly recommend for people seeking peace and quiet in the beautiful Algarve hills.

Belissimo espaco para dscansar. Poucas pessoas. Muito arranjado e bem tratado.

Heerlijke rustige camping. Weg er naar toe prima te doen. Schoon & fijn sanitair en uitstekende service van de eigenaar. We hebben veel campings gezien maar dit is de mooiste. We hebben maximaal genoten op deze camping en komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Super calmo as pessoas são super simpáticas, piscina sítio para caminhada que vai dar à Ribeira de Odelouca casas de banho sempre limpas, aconselho levar bicicleta se tiver, simplesmente magnífico.

Super Platz, traumhafte Umgebung! 1a gepflegt !

The place is absolutely spotless and well organized. The surrounding mountains, the small 'river' and the nearby lake is breathtaking. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Perfect for those who seek the tranquility of nature in the rural parts of the Monchique area.

Camping vraiment perdu dans les montagnes, très silencieux. Sanitaires et douches impeccables très petit, on est les uns sur les autres. Le propriétaire n'est pas vraiment souriant.

Um parque idêntico a muitos outros

Parque de campismo na Serra do Algarve, próximo da Barragem de Odelouca. Excelente para quem gosta de canoagem, passeios de BTT ou pesca lúdica em águas do interior. Excelente para quem gosta da observação da fauna e flora local. Acesso por estrada de terra batida.

Camping fréquenté en majorité par nos cousins néerlandais. Super calme. Installations d une propreté rare . Le secteur est super seul bémol l accès est un peu compliqué mais ça vaut le détour

Schöner Ausblick und sehr ruhig. Sehr saubere Spülbecken und Sanitäranlagen. Die Böden sind für Zelte leider sehr hart, aber man bekommt umsonst einen Hammer geliehen. Für eine Nacht kosten 2 Personen 23 Euro mit Strom, fanden wir in Ordnung.

Petit Camping Calme charmant avec une piscine et peu chère très bon rapport qualité/prix. Mais emplacement sans ombre et avec une terre très dur c'est quasiment impossible de planter un piqué de la tente. Il n'y a quasiment pas de locaux c'est un camping de touriste.

The campsite is located in a beautiful and peaceful area where you can enjoy hiking, Springs in autumn, and a swimming pool. However, we had a strange feeling of being pushed to spend always more, feeling reinforced by the fact that we never know the prices of each thing, and that the owners always talk price after you consumed. For example, The checkout is at 12:00 and they sent us on a 0.45€ hike that lasted 2 hours, knowing that we would come back too late and would have to pay an extra. They have told us about the checkout time just when we came back... Everything is a bit like that and we didn't feel comfortable with that lack of transparency. Well, only that little problem with the owner's ways but the place remains nice and clean. We payed 19.50€ for a night.

Lieu très sauvage et paisible... accueil y est très sympas! Ça vaut le stop pour une nuit et profiter des derniers hectares de l Algarve

Camping au calme, un peu difficile à trouver surtout si on arrive de nuit. Mais si on apprécie la nature c est là qu' il faut camper.

Sort of remote, very dry and dusty in early August, but a lovely pool and gorgeous stars! The camp facilities were very clean and it was a quiet, calm stay. We were there only one night, but I think we'd stay longer in the spring or fall.

Supersauber und ideal zum Entspannen.

Este parque de campismo é horrível. Nem sequer deveria ser intitulado parque de campismo. Estive lá em Agosto de 2016. Fui num dia de muito calor, (quase 40 graus) comum nesta zona, e quando lá cheguei (depois de 20 minutos num caminho isolado de terra batida), deparei-me com o pior cenário possível. Sem água e sem sombras. E para agravar as coisas um proprietário estrangeiro de muito mau carácter que me expulsou do terreno dito privado quando viu que eu tinha um cão. Implorei misericórdia e água e ele simplesmente me disse que aquela casa era dele e que eu tinha 5 minutos para sair dali. Expliquei-lhe que tinha sobreaquecido o carro para chegar ali e que precisava de água para refrescar o cão e a mim. Estava a sentir-me mal inclusive. Mas esta pessoa demoníaca expulsou-me daquele monte árido sem árvores e sem água no meio do nada.

Een oase van rust en natuur, en van vriendelijkheid (Thea en Bert, de gastvrouw en gastheer). De stilte in de vallei kan er overweldigend zijn. De uilgeluiden indringend mooi. Aanbevolen voor een rondreis door portugal

Beautiful place, very clean. Nice view of the mountains. We also have a dog with us and it was fine. There is a beautiful dog area. It is well organized, but maybe too much strict regulations.

The campsite is clean and located in a beautiful valley. As expected from Portugal in August - scorching hot, and almost no shade on the entire campsite. The stay was not what we expected: we chose the place specifically because it was marked as dog-friendly, which it ISN'T. Your dog is not allowed in the main area, or the reception, the cafeteria, the terrace, the pool area - basically, nowhere. You can only keep him right next to your tent, on a leash - did I mention it is super hot?? More to the point, dogs are strictly forbidden to pee anywhere - and while I am always super concerned about cleanliness and take my dog on long walks 4 times a day, I cannot possibly prevent a male dog from lifting his leg occasionally! Our stay was not enjoyable in the least.

Very quiet, natural environment. Friendly owners, good and clean facilities. Many Dutch guests who prefer quiet campgrounds. River and lake was dry (by draught).

Very clean and modern and small. All great points. But we found it to have allot of rules. Like no barbecues allowed, we get it because of the drought but a collective barbecue would have bin nice.

Estive o ano passado neste camping porque pareceu-me através do site ser ideal para estar em paz com a Natureza...Foi a maior desilusão que tive: Fui com o meu marido, a minha filha de 15 anos e o meu cão pequeno (informaram-me que era admitido cães). Fomos tratados pelo proprietário de forma muito inadequada: esta quinta recebeu apoio do estado português (esta afixado numa sala esta informação) para se tornar um camping de turismo rural e trata mal as pessoas, apenas veem lucros; as pessoas que fazem ruído são convidadas a sair (depois de pagar claro), as crianças na piscina não podem fazer barulho e os cães claro está que não podem ser cães. Muitas mais coisas aconteceram negativas e viemos embora na manhã seguinte. Gostava de me lembrar de mais pormenores, mas passou já algum tempo. Não aconselho a ninguém e espero que muitas mais pessoas deem o se parecer. Obrigada

An ideal place to rest, the facilities are clean. I did not like the fact that the owner was always watching and he prohibit my children to jump and dive into the pool when all the other kids did. I was under the impression that he does not like Portuguese in the park. It was the first park in which I almost did not leave the tent because I do not feel at ease and I was happy to be leaving. Experience not to repeat.

You begin to see the water among the green hills and you think that that would be a wonderful place to camp, then you follow the road up and make a turn and you discover that what you've seen is where the park is. Nice friendly people, tranquility, no complications whatsoever.
