Third time we have stayed at Oceanus great pools clean areas. Clean rooms very spacious, friendly staff at reception and bar.Will be back again !

Ou tivemos muito azar ou então não sei, mas não entendo 4.2 estrelas. Ora bem muito sucintamente:
- O karaoke ficava debaixo do apartamento e ficou aos berros até à meia noite. Apesar de termos pedido para baixar o volume nada aconteceu. Supostamente este Aparthotel é vendido como sendo apropriado para famílias e casais desde que a malta se deite às horas que eles decidirem.
- Almofadas no apartamento ainda tinham cabelos dos antigos utilizadores!!!
- Informaram, quando questionámos, que a piscina interior estaria quente no dia seguinte mas nunca chegou o dia, nos 3 dias de estadia.
- Com muito custo e reclamação, trocaram-nos para outro quarto depois do barulho do karaoke mas deram-nos um quarto para 3 pessoas quando éramos 4. Tivemos de ser nós a ir buscar lençóis e almofada lá a baixo.
- Uma das piscinas exteriores tinha um saco de plástico a ser sugado no filtro no fundo da piscina e outro mais pequeno a boiar.
O atendimento ao cliente foi muito mau, nunca houve ninguém da gerência presente para comunicar connosco.
Resumindo, peguem no vosso dinheiro, gastem mais um pouco e fiquem num sitio como deve ser, aqui não.

Great location, with several entrances by foot. I'd not think of it as a 4 star hotel though. No toiletries and no main bed, just two twins that needed to be pushed together.

Just home from 3 nights at Oceanus with a friend. It was a good location for a short stay, the area is quiet and we weren't looking for nightlife. There seems to be confusion as to whether this is a 3 or 4 star hotel, as the entrance has 4 stars but some signs in the hotel had a mix of 3 and 4 stars. This is definitely a 3 star hotel.We stayed in a studio apartment that was in a 2nd building separate to the main hotel reception (we wondered if it had been a separate hotel that Oceanus had recently purchased?). The room was comfortable and clean. However, I would recommend providing a sponge and washing up liquid to wash dishes. We had stated on our booking that we were celebrating our 40th birthdays, this was not mentioned until our departure when the Receptionist read from our booking, asked if we received anything and apologised when we said no - bit disappointing but not a big deal! The pool area is clean and there were plenty of loungers, it seemed quite quiet but I don't normally holiday in May so this is maybe normal. The breakfast was poor with very little choice and the coffee was awful - it was in a pump flask, luke warm and tasted awful! I wouldn't recommend paying B&B, as there are lovely restaurants around or supermarkets close by where you could buy your own. I would return for a short break (3/4 days), room only, with a friend but not with children, as I feel they would be bored.

Staff are really helpful,say hi to Tania in bar,entertainment not very good there is no stage singer come in stand there and start to sing no introduction. Apartment OK no oven but microwave, kettle,hob so basic but not a problem blenty of places to eat,2 supermarket l municipal market fresh veg meat fish nice as l like to try country food

Facilities were ample for our elf catering holiday.The apartment was spacious and was cleaned regularly.And the staff were helpful and courteous.will be returning12th October for our 7th time.The hotel is surrounded by everything you could need and only a 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach

Location en avril, la piscine chauffée était la bien venue, petits déjeuners à revoir, car juste des croissants comme viennoiserie, le jus d orange étais basique. (il y a par contre des fruits frais).Ne pas prendre les appartements côté rue.

Excellent. Our apartment was clean, spacious and well presented. Staff very helpful. Local supermarkets a short walk, café and restraunts all nearby. The beach is a short downhill walk where there is choice of bars and souvenir shops. The walk back up is steep!!

Just had a fantastic week here. Staff friendly, apartment lovely. Facilities top notch. Recommend all local eateries especially San Martinos pizzeria and for an alternative breakfast venue the Sleepy Donkey down by the beach. A warm welcome awaits at the Captain's Bar run by the friendly Laura and Carlos.

We were staying in an annex building so had to walk right round to get to the main block. Towels for swimming you had to BUY there were no loan towels. One of the receptionists had a bad cold and he was really grumpy and miserable, when our air conditioning unit was blowing out cold air all night I was told by this receptionist that it couldn’t possibly be cold air, so we froze all night! In the morning we spoke to another receptionist and he sent maintenance to fix it. It’s things like this that let a nice hotel down!

Nous avons aimé lensemble de lhôtel et ses prestations. Lhôtel est très bien situé entre commerces et plage. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux. La chambre est propre et la kitchenette est pratique. Le personnel est à lécoute et sympathique. Nous avons juste trouvé la piscine intérieure très froide pour une chauffée.

Divide-se em dois edifícios, cada um com uma piscina descoberta. Fiquei no edifício secundário, o qual se encontra um pouco longe do bar do pequeno almoço. Este é bastante pobre. Quartos razoáveis, com cozinha, mas a tv resume-se a poucos canais satélite com má recepção. Wifi é pago. Tinha piscina coberta mas sem aquecimento...localização boa para quem quer estar fora do centro mas perto de tudo (pode-se ir à praia a pé)

Hotel très bien situé, accueillant propre, côté route à éviter mais l'autre côté est plus calme,même si la vue donne sur d'autres bâtiments. Pas direct donc pas trop gênant on peut même appercevoir la mer si l' on se trouve au dernier étage comme nous.3ème. Terrasse avec petite table et 2 chaises très agréables en fin d'après midi. Piscine pour finir la journée et salle de sports. Apparthotel pour 3 suffisamment spacieux et lumineux.

Asked to move nothing was offered as full. There were lots of spare rooms. All pools including indoor pool freezing. Told only heated indoor in winter. Lounge come bar fiery bar girl not willing to allow us to change television channel. Only football allowed. Karaoke very noisy for apartments near. Did not finish till midnight. Noise of road and bin men working at 1.30 am kept us awake. Overhaul reception okay. Bar girl needs a customer care course.

Nice apartments. Kept clean. Nice quiet area. Pools adequate.Very well situated for beach just 5 mins away. Supermarket 200 yards away. Numerous restaurants. Would recommend Tavertinos restaurant good food at good prices.
Local attractions accessible, reception staff very nice,very helpful. Bus service outside of hotel. Would recommend aparthotel Oceanus.

Had a lovely stay this weekend at the Oceanus Apartments! The receptionists were all very welcoming and very helpful indeed! Only stayed self catering so cannot comment on the food, but we wouldnt recommend the cocktails! The location was ideal with a lovely little beach not far either! Would definitely return.

Olhos de Agua a lovely location. Oceanus well placed to access the beach, restaurants and bars. Our apartment was on the main road which can be noisy. Towels change Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sweep out and mop every day. Nice shower facilities. Our studio for two was an all in one area,beds,kitchen, TV, table and chairs. .good space on balcony with loungers.

Nice place and convenient but we runed into a few issues which I hope this helps you to be prepared.
Hotel safe, you have to pay to use and leave a 10Euro key deposit.
Free Wifi only in the lobby area but in the room you have to pay as well.
At breakfast which was included is somehow average but, if you want to have an espresso you have to pay 70cents which is not included, normally is 1Euro.
We had no shower/shampoo upon our check in, requested and not available until the next day or you could buy it at the desk.
We spent 5 weeks on a European Road Trip, stayed in about 26 Hotels/Aparthotels across Europe but this property management was rated the lowest in my trip.
Suggestion to the management, please charge 10Euros extra and include everything...

Facilities were pretty basic and room was only cleaned once during our 4 night stay. Towels are changed 3 times a week. Use of WiFi is charged at a daily fee. Breakfast was pleasant and staff were helpful.

L’ accueil n’est pas à la hauteur, le client n’est pas roi la réceptionniste comme la femme de ménage peuvent se permettre de faire des réflexions au client si elles estiment être dans leur bon droit.Pour raison de santé nous avons demandé à la réception si le ménage pouvait être fait avant 13 h car nous souhaitions nous reposer après le repas.Cela a été impossible ...La piscine ferme au mois d’aout a 18 h 30...Pas de surveillance de piscine ce qui conduit certains touristes à des incivilités.Les enfants sautent sur les nageurs .Impossible d’acceder a un transat en 10 jours...Certains clients se permettent de réserver les transats à 8 h 30 avec leurs serviettes et ne viennent à la piscine qu’en fin de journée...

clean friendly....good holidayOne problem: at the main pool (which is very private) there is not enough sunbeds...plenty of room around the but as the receptionist said when asked Ill ask to get them out of storage!! (at the end of July!!).....they did but not in time and still not enough.Its not good enough to have paid for a premium stay and have to sit on cement ground when at the pool.....by the way the issue was not with guests holding sunbeds with towels...there was just not enough sunbeds and enough space to double the amount that were there.

The rooms and pool were clean and comfortable (though noise from the road woke us up early.) However, dont bother paying extra for breakfast, there was very little choice and it wasnt great quality.

Séjour du 13 au 17 janvier 2020 réservé avec petits dej.Très bon accueil, appartement pour 4 personnes, beau volume, très propre ménage tous les jours. Piscine intérieure chauffée, bar cosy, petit dej anglo-saxons (œuf scrambled ou fries, bacon, jambon, fromage, tomate..... ) Très proches toutes commodités. Proche plage 400m. A recommander seulement un bémol pour l'isolation de la chambre côté rue

Хороший отель. Находится в минутах 15 от... моря? Океана? Залива? Забыл) район тихий, сходить некуда) отличный пенсионерский отдых.
Большой номер с кухней. Чистый. Кондиционер работал исправно. При въезде дают ваучер на пиццу в соседнем кафе.

Very comfortable apartment, friendly staff and lovely swimming pools. Close to Olhos daqua beach and about a 20 min walk to Praia do Barranco which is stunning. Within a fee minutes walk of restaurants, shops & suoermarkets and bus stop to Faro, Albufeira & other beautuful beaches in the Algarve.

Personal agradable en recepción, ruidoso si la habitación da a la avenida principal, tuvimos que pagar un suplemento el segundo día para cambiar a otra habitación que no diese a esa zona, está en olhos d'agua, a unos 5km de Albufeira, andando está a 15 minutos de la playa de pescadores, hay bares, restaurantes y tiendas

I guess the only draw back is not much choice for breakfast but I’m gluten free and when we mentioned this he got me loads of gluten free food for breakfast which was lovely of them. Would recommend to anyone. X

Quartos espaçosos, bem equipados, com preço um pouco acima da média. Contudo, a piscina interior tem água fria (!) e o restaurante/pizzaria é simplesmente detestável: 10 minutos à espera para nos indicarem uma mesa; meia hora sentados e nem um empregado se dirigiu a nós, mesmo após inúmeras tentativas para chamar alguém. Fomos ignorados, apesar de estarem cerca de 10 pessoas a servir à mesa. Levantámos e fomos embora, nada nos disseram. Não vou voltar.

Buena ubicacion, cerca del mar. Departamento amplio, y muy bien equipado. facil para estacionar el auto. La limpieza dejo bastante q desear, pisos con arena. El servicio de limpieza nos dejo la basura al lado de la cama. Algo que ya deberian tener todos los hoteles es la caja de seguridad. Tenia pero de pago.

2019 July this hotel is like Irish 4 star. Staff became my family for the week king to my 10 year old son whit asd. I got very sick and they help so much pools can would like to thank the staff for beginning your friends bless you home from home . Very clean hotel, maids would be round everyday with fresh towels and to make the beds. I was not 100% with the continental breakfast so we ordered breakfast which was okay and we went out for breakfast. Pools are clean and plenty of sun loungers. Indoor pool you need to wear a swim cap €3. We would return to this hotel, and would upgrade to the superior bedroom!

I have stayed here before,so new area,getting a bit tired looking,although bathroom was new,single bed uncomfortable and almost like a cabin bed,staff at reception not very helpful or friendly,noisy singer on which felt as he was right underneath my room.I think midnight is too late too have a singer on,not everyone stays in late.ill probably not go back

Room for 4 people but only space for 2 on balcony. Pool view but was over looking road and pool in distance behind fence next to snack bar, area closes at 7pm so nowhere to sit out. Hotel very clean and room nice but the above just let it down. Shame.

We stayed at the Oceanus May 18 and had a lovely stay. The hotel has a relaxed feel and all the staff are very polite and welcoming. They are very helpful with enquiries about the area and cant do enough to assist you, booking taxis and anything else you need.
We stayed in appt 108. Simple but spacious and very clean rooms. Kitchenette is a double hob only plus microwave, toaster but no oven however the food locally is so cheap its not worth cooking in. We purchased supplies for breakfasts and light lunches. Hotel very well placed, just at the top of the hill, plenty of great restaurants, a wonderful cafe and two supermarkets that supply everything you may need cery close by.
Would definitely recommend...so much so we have rebooked for Oct

I would have given this place a 4 but the deal with the breakfast option was terrible! Breakfast had no variety and was always COLD. Even after giving suggestions, he was bitter and stubborn. He continues to hoover over the customers. Food inspector needs to check this place out. Rooms, etc were good and other staff were attentive.

Only disappointment was the small shaded balcony but to be fair we wouldn't have used it much as we were out and about. Great pool area and nice pool bar. Downstairs bar is also very nice. Big apartments. Walking distance to shops and restaurants etc

Os lençóis só são trocados de 7 em 7 dias. A limpeza só é feita de 2 em 2 dias excepto ao domingo e quando é feita. O pequeno almoço é simples sendo que o pão quase sempre não é do próprio dia, nem os croissants.1 o ovo estrelado por pessoa com uma fatia de bacon extremamente fina por ovo. Não há variedade de escolha. Sendo que não há flexibilidade de horário; eu atrasei-me 5 minutos e já não tomei pequeno almoço. Não há simpatia genuína. Um profissionalismo forçado que soa a despachar.

Le doy una extremeña más que la que tiene.Para 3 estrellas está bien, sitio tranqui, limpio, el personal amable y atento. Sobre el apartamento, tamaño adecuado, mini cocina con lo básico para cocinar en cuanto a vajilla se refiere, no para lavarla........ Microondas, cafetera, hervidor agua y tostadora, exprimidor manual el de toda la vida. Baño amplio y habitaciones cómodas y limpias. Mejoraría el servicio de comidas .Wifi lento, un poco engorrosa la zona para moverse, aceras empedradas muy bonitas pero para ver no para andar con carro de bebe. Cuidado con los super de la zona que se suben a la parra en precios.

The only reason for four stars is that the beds are all twins which we ended up pushing together but also the corridors really smell of food on some floors, which obviously isn't really the hotels fault, but they need windows opening during the day when cleaning or put signs up about cooking.
Heated pool and bar with lovely staff on group floor. two outdoor pools too and solarium on roof.
Great location, across from cafe and close to all restaurants. Five mins walk to beach.
I would recommend.

Olhos de Acqua ist ein idealer Standort für alle, die dem überfüllten Albufeira entgehen wollen. Das Hotel eignet sich durchaus auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt, da Kücheneinrichtung vorhanden. Es war alles gepflegt und sauber - also nichts zu beanstanden. Das Frühstück (kontinental) wird in einer gegenüberliegenden Snackbar serviert. War ganz okay.Für Autofahrer war die Anreise etwas kompliziert, da von der Straße aus weder Eingang noch Parkplätze einsichtbar sind.Wir haben es dann trotzdem geschafft und waren letztendlich sehr zufrieden.

I thought about giving this place less than 5 stars as its listed as 3 star hotel/aparthotel. I would have been sure that after a week we would have found something to be unhappy about. No. Not even us.
The rooms are clean. The shower rooms have been upgraded to a standard higher than the hotels 3 star rating. The beds are comfy. The house keeping staff seem to be of the invisible ninja type and have extra sensory powers of deducing when you'll not be in the room. The staff are all lovely. Very helpful. The reception area of the hotel gives away its 1970's design away but honestly, who needs anything newer? The pool area also gives away its vintage and can be very busy. Still, our kids loved it. It's not for everybody. The Cantina is perfectly adequate and has lots of yummy beer for very little. Again, staff are lovely.
As for location? Well, we walked everywhere we needed to go. Beach, Restaurants, beach, occasional supermarket and beach.
Ideal.

Grosszügiges Aparthotel, ideal gelegen. Die Zimmer zur Strassenseite waren leider immer im Schatten und die Strasse ist stark befahren.

Pros - Friendly staff, spacious studio,nice facilities,daily room cleaning and sparkling public areas.Nice bar and pool snack bar ,Restaurant certainly worth a visit,car parking no problem, in fact many reasons for a return visit. As for cons,just one Hard Beds !

Super location, sehr freundliche Menschen. Alles sehr sauber. Top Ausstattung in Küche und zimmern.wunderschöne Dachterrasse. Fabelhaftes in doorschwimmbad. Doch jetzt kommt mein negativer Punkt. Kann man verstehen, dass Menschen direkt ins Schwimmbad gehen ohne zu duschen? Bitte bitte liebe Direktion bringen sie ein großes Hinweisschild in den duschen an.

Position of hotel was good with several restaurants offering tasty dishes at reasonable prices and supermarkets nearby. Beach 5 minutes walk down steep hill or 10 minutes by more gradual hill. Good beach and cliff walks from Olhos.Hotel well-managed with well-equipped and spacious apartments..Excellent walk-in shower but fridge could be replaced.Warm indoor swimming pool.Helpful staff speaking good English.All BBC TV channels .

I absolutely loved my time in Portugal, and this hotel was a factor in making my time in Portugal so great. The pool was amazing, the bar was great and the food quality in the restaurant was astoundingly high quality.

Freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen worden (englisch Kenntnisse vorhanden). Unser Studiozimmer war groß, gepflegt und geräumig. Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße, so das man den Strassenlärm hört. Zum Strand sind es ca. 500 Meter. Es fanden oft abwechslungsreiche Unterhaltungsprogramme statt, die wir persönlich nicht wahr genommen haben. Das morgentliche Frühstück war schlicht und nicht als Büffetform. Parkplätze am Hotel sind ausreichend vorhanden. Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Strandhotel ist sehr schön. Die Pools sahen sehr gepflegt aus, haben wir aber nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit (sprechen nur englisch). Wir waren allgemein sehr zufrieden.

tolles 3-Sterne Aparthotel, saubere und große Studios und Apartments, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, günstige Preise für Essen und Trinken, ca. 3 Minuten bis zum Strand. Für einen erholsamen Urlaub top geeignet. Der Ort Olhos d Àgua ist nicht überlaufen und bietet sämtliche Annehmlichkeiten, das trubelige Albufeira ist leicht mit Bus oder Taxi erreichbar.

Wir wollten einfach einen entspannten und einen schönen Urlaub haben. Wir haben beides bekommen.Wir haben die langen Strandspaziergänge,das gute Essén und das Schwimmen im Meer aber auch im Pool sehr genossen.

Es war ein erholsamer Aufenthalt; alles in allem konnte man zufrieden bis sehr zufrieden sein.Service und Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Lage des Hotels war zumindest im Bereich des Hauses II ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral.

Cet apparthôtel situé proche dune petite plage est très agréable. Nous y avons séjourné une semaine fin mars avec un super temps. La location était grande, à un prix très correct au vue de sa situation et de ses équipements. Le seul point négatif était la vue de la chambre (sur une rue passagère dommage, à préciser lors de la réservation).Les draps sont changés une fois par semaine et les serviettes de bains tous les 3jours, la résidence est très propre. Toutes les commodités sont a proximité, le personnel est très accueillant, chaleureux et donne de bons conseils!Je recommande vivement cet hôtel nous y avons passer de superbes vacances.

we stayed here for 7 nights mid october. The staff couldnt be more helpful and the room was quite nice. the only moan we would have is the wi fi. We paid 10 euro for the week but found it could only be used either in the lobby or at the pool across from the entrance. Our room was on the ground floor close to the lobby but still had a very bad connection.

Hôtel qui daprès moi ne mérite pas ses 3 étoiles, personnels peux agréable et non souriant surtout au Snack Bar, piscine non nettoyée régulièrement. Si vous voulez des transats au bord de la piscine il vous faudra payer pour avoir les Bon sinon vous en aurait en plastique qui vous font mal au dos.Très éloigné des villes comme Albufeira et Villamoura, et plus de bus après 19h, donc obligation de prendre des taxis qui dailleurs nacceptent pas de prendre des passagers sur le bord de la route, il faut aller dans un arrêt de taxis et attendre. Si vous navez pas de PC avec vous le pc de la réception et dune lenteur extrême, impossible de se connecter aux site tels que Facebook. Et il faut payer 1€ pour 15 minutes.Pour résumer, cest hôtels loin de toutes commodités, qui possèdent des installation qui ne sont pas digne dun 3 étoiles.

This is a fabulous hotel. The room was very spacious,clean and modern. The pool was lovely.Most importantly the staff were extremely helpful and kind... I would highly recommend this hotel for all ...families, couples, young and old!

This was our first trip to the algarve we traveled all across the south and loved every minute,but at the end of the day it was nice to go back to olas de agua which was a lovely place with two nice beaches and at night standing on the balcony listening to nature and calm quiet the oceanus hotel is a welcoming place with pleasant and friendly people working there who were always helpfull and charming to converse with and would go to any length to make sure your stay was as pleasant as possible especialy noonoh who was always helpfull and could tell you nice places to visit and best ways to get there me and the mrs will deffinately return there again soon one of the best holidays we have had also the locals were very welcoming and friendly if you fancy a change and want a beer that ends in a evening of making friends not knocking lumps out of each other i highly recomend visiting there enjoy

Da poco ristrutturato, è stato fatto un ottimo lavoro.
Tutti gli ambienti sono dotati di mobilio nuovo.
Buona la pulizia.
La posizione è molto comoda sia per la spiaggia sia per i negozi e i ristoranti.
Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.
Belle le piscine, sia quella interna che quelle esterne.

This hotel is well located . Close to a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. Bus stop just outside hotel and taxis available across the road ( reasonable prices ) allowing access to Albufeira and other resort areas
Nice breakfast in pool snack bar and there is also a nice hotel restaurant.
We.found staff very friendly and extremely helpful and we would certainly stay again and recommend to others

gostei muito das piscinas , gostaria que para o ano quando aí fosse houve-se camas de casal , só falta isso para completar o aparthotel , fiquei num rés-de-chão e queria ficar num andar alto , espero que para o ano fique mas de tudo está optimo!!
