Writing a review to counter the low scores this hotel has had so far. We stayed in 3 Portuguese hotels on our trip and both agreed that we wished they had all been as good as this one. We went out of season and had a very nice couple of days here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and clean. The outdoor pool was excellent and the heated indoor pool was great during a winter visit. We had breakfasts here which were great and ate once in the Italian restaurant on site which was better than average. Negatives: It is a fair walk and a steep climb from the beach. I wouldn't fancy that with young kids or elderly grandparents. The beach itself isn't massive and I would imagine it is busy in the summer. The hotel is definitely not modern, all the fittings worked and were clean but weren't new.

Bom hotel, espaço muito grande, ajardinado, bem cuidado. Várias piscinas e espaços comuns. Perto da praia. Bom pequeno almoço.
