Restaurant très sympa en bord de mer. Le poisson est succulent et les cocktails à tomber. Le personnel est très accueillant et de bons conseils.

Can't really fault this for food and ambience. Yes, you probably pay a bit more than the average place in the area but the location is second to none and the food and service were excellent. Definitely go for the fish. My wife and I shared a sea bream which was perfectly cooked (cost €48). Also, for someone who hates dealing with fiddly little bones this was great - all deboned and filleted at the table by the waiter. My sons, who are not keen on fish, went for the piri piri chicken and a steak. Again these were very good, as were the accompanying vegetables - finely sliced carrots and beans plus broccoli. Our tomato salad and new potatoes were also very good.
Also, a word about the sweets - these were also outstanding - we had an almond tart, a carob and lemon curd tart and a tiramisu. I sampled all three and can honestly say they were the best deserts I'd eaten for some time (and wr eat out quite a lot).
Total bill for 4 of us including a beer, 2 large glasses of wine, a coke and bread and pate to start wad €136. And we were given 2 complimentary glasses of port to finish, so I thought prettyy good value all in all.

O casamento do meu filho mais novo foi celebrado neste restaurante.
Vista espetacular com esplanada aberta para o mar.
Atendimento 5*, atencao ao detalhe, peixe e carne servidos eram de optima qualidade, toda a refeicao foi bem confecionada e foi muito saborosa, paciencia para com as criancas.

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit Meerblick. Wunderschöne kleine Terrasse. War im März dort. Lecker Fischgerichte. Oder einfach nur ein Getränk mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Was will man mehr.

Stopped for a coffee and ice cream on a visit to the lagoon. I think this has been improved in the last year. The setting is fabulous and the facilities very well presented. So while the snacks bar area prices are pretty standard the restaurant is a bit marked up to May h the scenery, location and more polished feel than most run of the mill beach 'shacks'. Always pay close attention to fish prices per kg when you are ordering.

A must visit for anyone near the area. The food is incredible, especially the fish. The starters are delicious and great to share among friends and family at the table. Good starters which I enjoyed and are a must try are the gambas in garlic and the ham, which goes well with the bread served for the table.
As mentioned the fish is fantastic. It's unbelievably fresh and you notice it. I have been to several restaurants in the area and the fish was one of the best so far.
The service was also impeccable. Very attentive and unbelievably nice. You truly notice how they go the extra mile to make it a positive experience.
Of course the location is beautiful as well. Located right at the beach, you can easily relax at the beach before and after a fulfilling lunch at the restaurant.

Este restaurante tem uma localização privilegiada no entanto é um excelente restaurante com preços um pouco elevado mas aqui o que importa é a qualidade e não podemos esquecer que estamos na praia com uma vista espetacular devesse considerar que há poucos lugares como este. Tem peixe muito bom, fresco e bem grelhado. Serviço profissional e simpático. Um lugar inesquecível

Excelentes pratos de peixe e várias variedades. Anchova e um peixe ótimo e com bom acompanhamento. Muito Bom Serviço. Vale a pena desfrutar da vista de mar com a Paris a seus pés.

Die Lage ist natürlich atemberaubend - dafür können die Betreiber aber recht wenig...
Wo sie etwas für können, wäre der Umgang und die Preisgestaltung. Beides ist absolut unzureichend!
Der Service war arrogant, unfreundlich und die Preise absolut unangemessen.
Eigentlich schade...

What can we say but wow, we stumbled upon this nice cozy restaurant in the afternoon, and we reserved for dinner. The staff was extremely helpful and polite with professional but be-at-home service. We went with instinct to try more local taste/food and we hit the nail right on the head by following the advice of the waiter. Their local cheese served with bread and melon jam or olive oil and salt and pepper. Then we went ahead and ordered 2 starters (fish based) and nothing but fresh ingredients. For the following dish (main course) again local dishes of fish and again no regrets. Then to finish it off the desert, we selected not one but 3 to try the local sweets. One that we selected was not available anymore and the staff quickly advised us and suggested another one instead. Needless to say they where all great. For the bill I find it fair for the environment, quality of food, service and choice. It is not inexpensive but if you are willing to spend slightly more as your first meal in Algarve area this is the place.

We were received in a very rude and hostile way by the guy who assigns the tables. We were speaking Spanish and my wife assumes that he is probably a racist against Spanish. Even when I asked if all is fine he first would not answer and only after asking again I got an unfriendly "Sim". Besides this, prices were extremely high for being a beach bar, but at least my wife's fish fish was very tasty.

Buena ubicación, comodo acceso desde el aparcamiento. Buenas instalaciones, organización, profesionalidad y buen producto. Recomendación: realizar reserva de mesa. Si lo desean pueden utilizar zona de terraza junto a entrada al comedor. No olviden llevarse la cámara de fotos e inmortalizar las espectaculares vistas que ofrece de praia dos Salgados. Disfruten!

Have holidayed in this area for 4 years and every year look forward to lunch in this restaurant. Idyllic beach- side location. Food always excellent- fresh seafood , good options for kids (no kids menu but have lots to choose from on regular menu). Spaghetti and clams or prawns delicious or the fish of the day. The grilled chicken for kids is perfect and also delicious. Always busy so not always guaranteed a table. In general staff friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for a beach side lunch.

Una Stella e tropo peccato il posto e carino e posizionato bene ma lo staff e arrogante tra un solo cameriere che non è portoghesi, dopo 30 min che siamo state sedute arriva 1 e dice non si serve in tavolo prenotare in cassa e pagare prima pensati quante passanti per quel modo di parlare venno altrove anchi se il post meno bello ......bohhhh cambierà.....

An excellent place for a eating with a great view of the see. Great place!
Now, the prices are a little bit expensive, but normal for such a restaurant, in this location.
I order Code, taste good, but it was floating in olives oil. Salmon was excellent,salads and chips good to. I almost forgot, they have good cakes.
The personal it is okey, but in my opinion, they don't have patience to explain you, how the food is, for exemple; the vegetables soup, it is a cream soup, and in the menu it isn't write this.

Delicious food! It is a must visit if your I the area.
The staff was very helpful with the menue as the sell the advertise the fish dishes per kg. They advised a single portion was around 330g.
I ordered the golden bream which was amazing come with new potatoes and salad which has a lovely dressing. I would also recommend the shrimp spaghetti it was delicious. They are also happy to serve half portions as they have no specific child's menu.
I would recommend going early or booking a table as the locals seem to enjoy this place too and we was lucky to get a seat with all the reservations on the tables.

Fantastic food, great service and a nice view all make this a great place for a lazy holiday lunch. Have been previously quite a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Great to see that standards have not slipped. Keep it up guys!

Me trataron muy mal!! El encargado o Dueño no puede ver a los Españoles! ! Qué pena!! Me clavaron casi 100 euros por casi nada!! Pedí la carta en Español o qué me ayudara a pedir... porque no la entendía, y me dijo de muy malas formas que eso era lo que había que a él en España le pasaba lo mismo ....le dije qué no eran ni las formas ni contestacion..
Que pena con lo que me gusta Portugal, su gente ,playas y comida...

Mejor quedarte en la terraza de fuera picando algo que entrar en el restaurante. Caro y platos que no obedecen a un sitio de playa.Pedimos, entre otras cosas, arroz con gambas y nos trajeron un cuenco de arroz blanco y un plato con gambas con muchísimo curry que nos decepcionó. Hay sitios mejores en los que no merece la pena tanta lista de espera.

No puedo decir cómo se come porque directamente nos dijeron, de malas formas, que estaba completo y ni se dignaron a darnos un margen de tiempo de espera, sólo éramos dos personas. Típico restaurante que le sobra la clientela de turistas y el trato deja bastante que desear.

Apesar do clima desfavorável devido ao vento incomum para essa época do ano, tivemos uma agradável surpresa ao escolher esse lugar para almoçar!
Comida excelente, visual incrível e a quinta estrela fica para a Mila, brasileira do Paraná que nos atendeu
Barato não é, mas para nós valeu cada euro !
A simpatia de todos culminou com a iniciativa cativante de nos oferecerem uma aguardente de Medronho, muito popular na região por conta da casa!! Essa bebida não é baratinha não! Custa €6 a dose!
Enfim! Esse lugar nos conquistou!!

Just got back to the hotel after an excellent lunch at Salgados. The clams were fresh and the fish amazing. The views from the table to the beach were terrific. Not sure why other posts felt the value for money was poor but we had three courses plus wine a beer and coffee for 62 Euro’s. I have paid more for less and without the view many times in my travels.

Eigentlich recht hübsche Strandbar. Auf der Terrasse ist Selbstbedienung angesagt. Unser Eindruck war, dass hier überwiegend Engländer verkehren und das bedeutet: es geht laut und hektisch zu. Nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

The restaurant has nice views as it is placed right on the beach, but apart from that, I don't have many positives about. Staff was rude and the meal was OK. Wasn't bad but was nothing amazing, especially considering the extortion you pH for a piece of fresh fish. Head to not so far grelha do ti manel Nd you'll Have a much better service, much nicer and fresher fish, for a third of the price. The toilets were outside in the bar area Nd because used by beach goes it was pretty dirty. I live eating well and paying the price for it, but only go here if your intention is to sit by the beach, nothing else.

Der Ort und Ausblick sind gut. Das Essen ist dafür mittelmäßig und viel zu teuer. Für eine kleine Dorade über 25 Euro bezahlt. Das kann man schon Wucher nennen. Nur bedingt zu empfehlen!

Hi. I thought the food was fine. Felt ripped off. Paid a crazy price for the fish. Kids prices very expensive also. Usually don't like to complain but I just am annoyed with the price they charged me.

Only had ham omelette, fried prawns and fries, all were very very good. I noticed the fish being brought out to tables and it looked amazing but simple. Overheard people saying how nice it was

Inside and noticed live lobster and crab in a tank plus the fish are still moving under the ice
