Ordered Chataubriand. Started to eat Steak warm, veg cold. Added sauce to heat no use. Sent back. Waiter polite took them away said I'll get you a new one. Came back 5 minutes later with original steaks which appeared microwaved. The steak were covered in original sauce. Spoke to manager who said he knew nothing about our steak and what did WE want him to do. Don't charge us was my response, they didn't. Expensive and poor tourist trap. Can do better.

Un gran restaurante donde comer una exquisita cataplana de pescado. El nivel del restaurante me pareció superior a los de alrededor, y valió la pena. Una rica cocina con un trato muy amable.

Déjeuner le 28 avril 2019. Deux couples.Nous avons pris chacun une seule entrée pour deux. Pas de problème. Service aimable, souriant et efficace. Belles noix de saint jacques au bacon, parfaitement cuites. En plat deux tournedos Rossini et deux filets de bœuf au trois poivres. De beaux pavés biens épais, cuits parfaitement et saignants comme demandés. La viande était tendre, gouteuse et les sauces et fois gras parfait. Du beurre. En dessert 4 crêpes Suzette (3 par personnes, bien punchées!) Avec deux bouteilles de rosé d'Algarve bien fraîches et deux cafés : 190 euros.
Très belle adresse. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Viande exceptionnelle.
Nous habitons Lagos et sommes déjà venu trois fois et il y aura une quatrième.

This place is horrible. I’m not even picky and this was almost inedible. I’m pretty sure I got about a week of my sodium intake from my dried out lamb shank. The winner of the night was my girlfriends “sea bass” which was 100% not sea bass. It was some sort of thin rock fish filet. A poorly done meal is one thing, but this is straight fraud. Hard pass.

I'm giving just a 1 star. But to be honest this is far too much. Me and my partner went for dinner to this restaurant. She had a duck breast meal and I'd ordered Black Angus Entrecote.
The duck was ok. Maybe a little bit to rare and slightly chewy but eatable.
But the steak was a disaster. The chef must had a bad day. I expected nice,juicy and tender beef but I'd got skinny slice of rubber instead . The steak was not more than 3mm thick , tough and tasteless. Couldn't eat .
No apology after complain . Very unprofessional. Will never come back.

This is an absolutely fabulous restaurant.
The staff could not be more helpful. Before having a meal, go to the bar upstairs and enjoy a cocktail. You will then recommend it yo all of your friends

Pinchazo total. Peor balacao que he tomado en Portugal muy seco y como en un timbal con grelos y patatas muy grasientas. El atún no valía nada sin gracia. No recomendable. Los camareros simpáticos

Was one of my favourite restaurants until I had a “duck” meal
Ordered as “medium well” received as “well done” ....diplomatically complained...but had no impact on either a response/apology from the kitchen or a reduction on d bill

I had a feeling something is wrong when the waiter refused to recommend a dish because: "then u won't like it and blame it on me" (his words). The service was cold and rude, the food and was flavorless. Don't fall for the fancy look as this a class 1 tourist trap.

Restaurante com etiqueta com pratos condicentes. Serve uns pratos menos requintados mas com o preço um pouco elevado para o binómio qualidade/quantidade. Agradável, no entanto.

For a high class restaurant, it was extremely disappointing. The service deserves 0 stars, as the host was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was subpar for the price you pay. The food was overly salted and didn’t pair well with the sides it came with. I would recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Der Service war sehr arrogant, langsam und hatte kein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Sie wirkten sehr unmotiviert und desinteressiert. Die Vorspeisen (gefüllte Champignons und Zwiebelsuppe) waren gut, aber dafür die Hauptgänge umso schlechter... Das Gemüse war nicht frisch, sondern TK-Ware, die Sauce war ebenso ein Convenience-Produkt und das Fleisch war nicht in der Garstufe gebraten, wie es bestellt war (Rinderfilet Rossini und Entrecote beide zu weit gebraten). Beim Rinderfilet hat der Trüffel ganz gefehlt, welcher bei einem Rossini dazu gehört. Der Höhepunkt des Ganzen kam, als wir die Rechnung bekamen. Für eine kleine Scheibe Brot (welches nicht sehr schmackhaft war) wurde jeweils 1,00 € pro Scheibe berechnet und für ca. 20 g Butter 1,50 €. Abschließend kann man sagen, dass das Ambiente von außen trügt und man sich davon nicht täuschen lassen soll.

The best restaurant I’ve been in lagos. Mouth watering meat thanks to the chef and the quality of the meat. The prices are good. Also would like to thank Joao Vaz for the great service. Defintely it s a must go restaurant.

Está todo espectacular. De los 4 restaurantes que he probado en Lagos, el mejor con diferencia, ya no sólo por la esmerada cocina sino por el servicio. A veces por ahorrarnos 2 euros en un segundo plato nos metemos en sitios abarrotados de gente y consecuentemente con un mal servicio. Este restaurante no es excesivamente caro pero tampoco de los más baratos pero es muy recomendable.

Ein Stern Fürs Essen. Der Service ist darauf ausgerichtet denselben Tisch 4-5 Mal am Abend zu verkaufen. Daher eine Fast-Food Atmosphäre. Trotz des leckeren Essens nicht empfehlenswert.

Muito bom, grande qualidade da comida, ambiente muito agradável, bom atendimento. Atenção...não é para todos os dias, preços entre 25....35...euros por pessoa, mas a qualidade da comida e o ambiente vale a pena, com a vantagem de ter um bar bastante agradável.

Auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Mittagsimbiss in Lagos sind wir schlussendlich hier gelandet und sind wirklich begeistert: sehr freundliches Personal und vor allem ein richtig leckeres Essen zu einem fairen Preis (verglichen mit den anderen Restaurants in guter Lage). Wenn man draussen essen mag, kann man nebenbei noch die flanierenden Touristen beobachten . Wir waren übrigens Mitte Oktober dort und hatten alle Zeit der Welt zum Essen.

Als erfahrender Restaurant Besucher muss ich diesen Lokal eigentlich 6 Sterne geben.
Sehr gute regionale Produkte, wo sich die tausend anderen Restaurants in Largos noch ne dicke Scheibe abschneiden können.
Werden morgen noch einmal zurück kommen.
P.s. Nimmt lieber ein Tisch im Restaurant, da draußen ab und an schlechte Musiker anzutreffen sind.

Prepare-se para uma refeição pantagruélica a começar pelo couvert e um bom vinho português. Como entrada sugere-se as vieiras e o folheado de espinafre. Prato principal pode ser a cataplana de peixe que serve duas pessoas, ou o bacalhau, mas se preferir carne há opções deliciosas. De sobremesa a pera bêbada. E o preço é barato pelo serviço.

Un gran restaurante sin duda , donde los tres parámetros que la mayoría utilizamos para valorar un restaurante Servicio/Calidad/Precio están a muy buen nivel
Por otro lado , visto desde fuera engaña un poco pues tiene 4 mesas mal puestas , tal Las debiera quitar , pero se ven las velas en las mesas del
Interior .
Ya dentro te siguen sorprendiendo
sus diferentes ambientes , en la primera planta una pequeña barra muy
bien montada donde disfrutar de un coctel mientras te preparan la mesa , justo enfrente otro comedor un poco más informal que el de la planta baja
Comimos Atún regado con vino blanco portugués y nos costó con las bebidas del bar 60 € dos personas
Si algún día regreso a Lagos volveré a este magnífico restaurante

Went for a family and the food was absolutely fantastic. Tempura Prawns for starters were delicious and so was the Stuffed Mushrooms. Sea Bass; lots of flavour and cooked very nicely. Portuguese Steak; good traditional food with juicy steak and crispy potatoes. Lobster, Prawn and Monkfish Stew; first time of trying was absolutely fantastic tasted lovely loads of flavour and plenty of fish could easily share between 2 if you have a small appetite.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant mit portugiesischer Küche, aber nicht mit dem Charm eines Strassenrestaurants in der lauten Abendatmosphäre von Lagos. Die suche gestaltete sich nicht einfach. Wir wurden aber mit dem Dom Henrique fündig. Das Restaurant bietet Tische im Innenbereich und in der Fußgängerpassage. Ein schönes Ambiente und nettes professionelles Personal empfing uns. Der Fischeintopf war hervorragend, unser Lob an den Koch. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend und werden uns gerne an das Dom Henrique erinnern. Danke

Sehr gutes Essen in schönen Anbiete mit sehr freundlichem Servicepersonal. Prwis/Leistung etwas überpreisig. Aber was will man in bester Lage in der Fußgängerzone von L. anders erwarten. Das Essen war auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert.

Voilà maintenant deux semaines que je suis à Lagos et j'en découvre de jour en jour un restaurant qui se découvre avec un superbe roof top!! Une cuisine de qualité avec un prix raisonnable super pour le dîner.
