Prima esperienza di surf della nostra vita, arrivati a Portimão siamo andati subito in questo bel negozio che è esattamente davanti la spiaggia della Rocha, e a 300 mt dalla scuola di surf che ci è stata consigliata dal titolare (scuola - playsurf) . Il personale è stato molto disponibile e cordiale e ci ha agevolato non poco nel trovare scuola e noleggiare il materiale Il negozio è molto carino e dispone di tutto il necessario dal surf allo streetwear Il corso e il noleggio di muta e tavola sono stati a mio avviso economici, e l’istruttore “Rafa” davvero molto bravo e cordiale . Bellissima esperienza, che rifaremo sicuramente e che molto probabilmente approcceremo di nuovo con questo ragazzi.

Great shop for the local and tourist surfers. Very good service, both staff and shop owner are more than happy to help.

The owner sorted me out with a day of lessons with their partner Future Surfing School at very short notice and was very helpful and communicative.

We rented SUP’s at Rocha Surf shop on a beautiful November day. Even though there was no official tour the super friendly staff helped us with the gear and fixing it on top of our rental car. After a short explanation about how to get to the beach and where to go we took the ten-minute drive to Praia João de Arens where we took to the water. The cliffs and rocks are amazing with arches to paddle through and secluded little beaches. Definitely a highly recommended activity for everyone who wants to do something fun on the water and experience Portugal’s rugged south coast up close. One more tip, have a look around the shop when you return :).

The best surf shop and rent we have ever visited. The servise was perfect and very polite, helpful and nice. Prices are very good and the boards we have rented had good quality. You can also get information about weather, waves and the best time to surf on a day. Everything perfect. We will come back next year for sure!!!

Super cool shop - great selection of clothing, surf gear and services such as board rentals, surf lessons and surf trips. The store has quality stuff so the prices are a little higher than other shops but totally reasonable and also justifiable. This is the best surf shop that i saw while in the Algarve. The owner was really nice and friendly, talked with us for a long time and also made great recommendations for the rest of our trip. I was a bit sad that i didn't buy anything from him. He's a great guy.

Great shop with exceptional service. As a beginner, I rented a surf board and a wetsuit (15€ altogether for 3h) from them. The guy from the shop (owner?) was awesome. Before lending the board and the wetsuit to me, he went with me to the beach to check if waves were even ok. Then I got a quick 5min-introductory/refresher course of the most important things to consider while surfing and a freshly prepared board...can it get any better than this? Also worth going there if you just want to shop - great selection of clothes, shoes and accessories. They apparently also offer tours.

Went here after renting a surfboard for my second time in Portimao. Came in and told I was a beginner looking for a board. After some questions and answers he enden up suggesting me a softboard and further on helped me select a wetsuit best fittet my use. One thing to really take notice in is how he didn't try to push a beginner with no knowledge to buy the best and most expensive stuff, he even suggested the middelrange wetsuit instead of the premium/performance wetsuits as I was looking for something to last longest possible. With a great seller helping me all the way I ended up with everything I needed to go surf for way less than I thought I would need to spend. He also explained everything I needed to know about how to use things correctly and maintain them.

Excellent shop! Carlos est toujours prêt à vous donner des conseils que ce soit pour le surf, les restaurants du coin ou les lieux a voir dans la région. Le matériel est de très bonne qualité et il y a beaucoup de choix! Les tarifs sont biens et l'accueil excellent a toute heure de la journée...
