Manuel et Ana, les fondateurs de l'école, incarnent à merveille l'Aloha Spirit. On est accueilli dans une atmosphère bienveillante, que l'on soit débutant ou débrouillé. Manuel est un prof/coach passionné, pro et humble. Ana est disponible, elle organise et arrange pour que l'on n'ait que à penser aux vacances. Le spot est assez variable, mais Manuel saura bien vous conseiller pour trouver la bonne planche et le bon endroit où attendre la vague. Les autres profs sont aussi attentifs et impliqués. Manuel et Ana parlent au moins portugais, anglais, espagnol et français. Et ça aide d'avoir des conseils dans sa langue maternelle. Cette été vous les retrouverez sur la plage ! Mahalo

Great surf school! Our 10-year-old daughter loves it and is looking forward to doing more surfing this summer. Manuel and Ana are always very friendly and helpful and the atmoshpere at the school is very relaxed. I can fully recommend this school!

Wonderful school, great people, embodies the Surfing Spirit. The instruction is top shelve, Manolo’s attention to detail is amazing. Great surf lesson. Our first as a family. Surf not too big which was good. Coaching team couldn't do enough to help. We all had a great time. Although my 7 Yr old daughter opted to sit most of it out, there wasn't any pressure. Carrying boards all the way out to the surf and back was a little tough as daughter refused to help, but them's the breaks. Would highly recommend!

Family of four visited August 2019. Very good experience for both adults & teenagers. So much fun! The instructors know how to give a good experience even for the very unexperienced.

We chose Koala surf school for our 5 days surfing vacation in Ancora. Manuel and Ana were very helpfull and sharing that amazing vibe! In case you are a beginner-Manuel gives profound surf classes! Convenient to leave your board at the school instead of carrying it aroung and you can also leave your wetsuit to dry before the next surf day! See you next summer Manuel and Ana!

Whenever I am in need of surf in Praia Âncora THIS is the place I come to. The equipment is good, the lessons are excellent and I think it would be difficult to find a better family-run business that cares more about your experience. I'll keep coming back whenever I can. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and professional surf school, managed by a great family and a dedicated team. Lessons are affordable as well ! My 8 years old daugther and I have learned a lot in 5 sessions with the helpful , positive guidance and the spirit of the Koalas ;) I would definitely recommend THIS school, for adults, children, beginners, and every other cool people... xxx

We had two days of lessons. The first day was really useful. Manolo and his colleagues were helpful and attentive. But on the second day we were completely ignored.

Excellent surf school!! Thanks to Manolo and his team I was able to vastly improved my surf skills this summer. The Koala Surf School is a family run business with a very relaxed vibe. Manolo is a great teacher and is both fluent English and French (and Portuguese obviously). The school is ideally located right at the beach and parking was never an issue for me. The beach itself is spacious with various waves for different level surfers. Prices are unbeatable! Most importantly though, Manolo and his family are great people and I look forward to my next visit.
