Ein schönes Anwesen, etwas ausserhalb von der Ortschaft, daher sehr ruhig und erholsam. Der Service war excellent, das Personal war sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück wurde jeweils frisch zubereitet und war abwechslungsreich. Das Haus ist sehr ordentlich und sauber gehalten.

Super hôtel, le petit déjeuner concocter par Anna est un régal. Elle nous a aussi fait un très bon poisson un midi , délicieux. Le lieu va s’agrandir le propriétaire nous a fait visiter dans quelques mois ce sera encore mieux... c’est déjà très bien !

Beautiful, very well maintained property. Well appointed, comfortable bedroom and bath. Friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast. Very willing to accommodate vegetarian diet. Much more than an ordinary buffet breakfast. Out of the way location but we would be happy to stay there again when visiting Northern Portugal.

Whilst small (7 rooms) the hotel is run with real care and attention to detail, it is comfortable, impeccably clean and the staff, management and ownership very obviously have great pride in their hotel. It is just a 2km walk into town and to the ferry and sits with beautiful views across the river towards Spain.The food is prepared with a passion for cooking and is of a very high standard.

Très bel endroit. Les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec goût. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et très fleuri. Grande piscine à disposition. Bon petit déjeuner.

Everything about this hotel is done in such great taste, nothing seems to have been left to chance. The decor is magnificent, the food is beautifully presented and the staff, including the owner are pleased to talk whenever you meet.. we had a lovely three nights there.

We felt so at home that we extended our stay to a third night. Each evening meals were prepared specially for us as though we had our own staff. We parted as good friends and promised to return.
