Lugar con buena cocina orientada a turismo con poder adquisitivo. Las raciones un poco escasas, y en algunos platos, la calidad solo correcta. El trato es amable y las vistas a la playa, lo mejor.

Very popular restaurant on the sea front. Very busy place, so you need to book. There's an upstairs where you can book a sea view very atmospheric. Reasonably priced. Ate there last night, group of 4, with a sea view upstairs. Wide choice of starters, including a good fish soup; I chose the pork tenderloin (a bit overcooked, ) with a delicious Madeira sauce, variety in the vegetables; great desserts. Try the pineapple/ limoncello, so refreshing. Service at beginning was quick, but had to wait a while for main course, a Friday evening and very busy, downstairs and up. Would certainly recommend it. Great location.

Had a nice lunch here on our first day of holiday. Ice cold beers, I had ham & cheese omelette and the other half had BLT sandwich. Very nice, no complaints.

I've been coming here since I was three (I'm now 24 and bringing my own son) and have great memories. It has always been my favourite restaurant in luz. Service is the best and food is outstanding. We visited tonight for my boyfriend's 26th birthday and as usual the food was perfection with the best views in Praia da luz.

Ein Restaurant auf 2 Ebenen. Unten rustikal, oben modern mit toller Aussicht auf den Strand von Luz und das Meer. Wir haben einen Tisch für 2 bekommen ohne Reservierung. Das war schon mal eine positive Erfahrung in Luz. Die frischen Austern als Vorspeise (6 Stück für 12 €) waren super lecker und schön auf Eis serviert. Das Thunfischfilet für 17,50 € war sehr lecker. Das iberische Schweinefleisch für 14 € war eher enttäuschend. Die Mandelrolle als Dessert war ok. Der Hauswein war sehr gut. Der Service war sehr professionell und sehr gut. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Acabamos aquí por casualidad. Nuestra intención era cenar pizza, en nuestra última noche del verano. Eran las 22h y estaban cerrando cocina, pero muy amablemente, nos dijeron que podíamos cenar en su terraza con vistas al mar, convirtiéndose en una cena súper romántica. Pedimos tres platos a compartir. De entrante pedimos Portuguese sausages balls, estaban realmente buenas y sorprendentes. También pedimos, langostinos con chili, no estaban mal, pero el chili era inesistente y los langostinos no eran frescos. Por último, pedimos pollo a la salsa de queso y a pesar de que el pollo estuviera algo seco, la salsa estaba realmente buena, ademas, ambos platos los acampañaban de guarnición, arroz y patatas, respectivamente. El trato por parte del personal fue excelente, una pena que llegaramos algo tarde.

Sole was not fresh and smelt really strong, my partner had a bad stomach through the night, too much sugar used in dishes and I think that my rack of lamb may have been frozen also, lovely location, average over priced food, 2 starters, 4 mains, bottle of wine €130. Kids had a rubbery chicken Breast and chips

N'est pas digne de leur carte ! Les plats ne doivent pas être fait a basse de produits frais mais sûrement de produits congelé !! Sans gout et chère ! Le seule.avantage c'est qu'il est au bord de la Mer ! Je ne recommande pas !!

Péssima comida, só poderá ser considerado bom por estrangeiros habituados a comer sandes... batatas fritas pre fritas do lidl, molho 3 queijos também, carne sem sabor, pre confeccionada, tipo catering, e depois bem empratada. Muito mau, qualquer portugues sentirá vergonha em ter um restaurante a servir assim.

Jolie vue sur la plage. La cuisine est bonne mais nous avons pu déjeuner au Portugal dans des endroits beaucoup plus typiques avec des plats bien plus locaux. Le personnel est agréable. Bref une bonne adresse mais sans grande surprise dans l'assiette

Very nice and fairly priced lunch for a young family. Friendly, accommodating and really tasty food. Several seating area, from outside, to inside and upstairs terrace. All smartly kept and well looked after. The burger with mushroom sause (not the kind with a bun) and omelette were firm family faves! We'd love to try a dinner here, but not this trip!

Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist super. Aber auch das Essen ist wirklich gut. Die Nachspeisen ein Gedicht, vor allem der warme Schokoladenkuchen mit Eis. Wird nur noch von YOLO übertroffen.

Mature couple Oct 19. Mussel starter , sole, sirloin steak, glass of vino verde and a bottle of mineral water €54. I'd say the food was ok and value for money. Service was lack lustre. Sunday lunch .. didn't book .. wasn't that busy. After we finished our main coarse didn't follow up with the sweet menu or ask if we would like a coffee. After 10 minutes when the waiter was passing I asked for the bill.

Não conhecia, fui lá a convite de uns amigos e fiquei fã. Vou voltar sempre que estiver pela zona. Tudo muito Bom. Excelente Marisco, Peixe Super Fresco, Boa Carta de Vinhos, Espaço Bastante Agradável. Na época alta recomendo fazer reserva anticipada...

Nous avons pris en unique plat la Cataplana de poisson et crevette. Un vrai régal ettres copieux. Le personnel est à l'écoute et serviable. A l'étage, une tres belle vue. Nois navons pas pris de dessert.

We arrived at A Concha without a reservation and were greeted by the most delightful young woman who was able to accommodate our party of 5 with only a short wait. The evening continued to be a most enjoyable experience with wonderful food and service.

Had the Monfish and Prawn kebabs but wasn't really impressed - was rather bland and the prawns tasted gritty and as if they were frozen previously and not very fresh. Shame!

Wir waren mit mehreren Freunden dort essen und jedes Gericht war exzellent! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war ebenfalls klasse und sehr aufmerksam

Great food, great view, well worth it. Suggest booking though. Bit of a longer delay between starters and main course than we'd like but think that was due to large tables in at the same time. Very nice though.

Direkt an der Promenade gelegen. Essen mit Ausblick aufs Meer. Fisch Cataplana ein Traum. Nachspeisen sind ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Hauswein sehr lecker.

So good we went back twice. The tuna steak is incredible. The service is great. The view is delightful. What is not to like?! Advise booking if you want an outside table

It's ok, nothing to complain about except for the fact that as you are in Portugal you could hope the staff can speak and understand Portuguese which is not the case...

Fuimos a cenar, llegamos tarde y nos atendieron sin problema. Algunas cosas de la carta ya no quedaban (comprensible cuando llegas a cenar a las 23:00 h).
Cada uno pidió un plato, el salmón muy bueno y el bacalao también.
El lenguado nos quedamos con la duda de si realmente era lenguado o no.
Buena atención y buenas vistas.
En general bastante bien, aunque bastante caro.

Das bislang schlechteste Essen unseres Portugalurlaubes! Der Fisch alt, die Kartoffeln verkocht, das Gemüse und das Ratatouille völlig ungewürzt; dafür war bei Letzterem die Aubergine halbroh (die Zuchini und die Tomaten auch, aber da macht's nix). Der Weisswein mäßig. Der Service gelangweilt bis desinteressiert. Um mit etwas Positivem zu schliessen: Man sitzt schön und der Sangria war wirklich lecker. Trotzdem: Never again! Wir hatten den klaren Eindruck, dass sich dieses Lokal auf seiner guten Lage an der Promenade ausruht.
Schönen Urlaub noch.

After hearing favourable reports of A Concha I was looking forward to my meal here; sadly however things did not quite live up to standard. The portions were large and the presentation, interesting but the food was really nothing to right home about... very very bland...

We have had a superb dinner tonight. From starter to desert, all dishes were carefully prepared and served. Attentive personel to serve your needs. If you stay in Luz we recommend to visit this restaurant. Please ask for a seat on the 1st floor.

Came to this fine establishment for lunch, lovely view of the beach and sea. The food was fabulous I had an omelette which was perfect to my taste! Great service, food and drinks came very quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at this restraunt!

Sehr nettes Personal eine grandiose Aussicht und sehr leckeres Essen. Das saftige und zarte Tuhnfischsteak, wird mir noch lange Zeit in Erinnerung bleiben. Auch die Ente schmeckt hervorragend.
Meiner Meinung nach ist das A Concha eines der besten Adressen in Luz

Went as a group of 5 adults and 2 infants. The view is nice, the service is good, but all the food we had was lousy: the fish soup was made with canned fish, the vegetables were all defrost, the tuna and duck was overcooked, the clams and mussels tasted like a dish sponge. The prices were quite spicey as well. Never going again.

Had an absolutely wonderful three courses here, right on the seafront, with excellent service throughout. The star of the show though was the food. From the bread and coriander oil to the salmon to the perfectly cooked fillet steaks to the gorgoeus sides to the chocolate mousse to the weird marzipan dessert wine shot thing, it was a fantastic night out all round. Will be back!
