Boutique Hotel , immaculate rooms and very good breakfast. Staff are professional and very helpful. Pool area lovely . Only issue is back streets to and from restaurants , very safe but easy to get lost. Takes a bit of getting used to , low heels ladies!

The surrounding area was intimidating at first as I was new to the area. Dont be worried, the hotel has wonderful staff and the experience was amazing. This was the first place I stayed in after a 20 hour or so trip across the world, and we were very pleased to have a nice pool to cool down in and very comfortable and spacious room to unwind in. Thank you so much Hotel Cidade, Olhao was great!!

What a find this turned out to be. The hotel is spotlessly clean and appears like new. The reception staff were amazing and we want to thank, Ruben, Francesco and Patricia, for being so helpful, friendly and welcoming.Its a short walk to the main street, and then ten minutes,on the roads and valleys, leading down to the two markets and the waterfront at Olhao. Here youll find many fish restaurants and bars and other eateries. And they are, overall, cheaper than anywhere else you are likely to discover, in the Algarve. Also, youll find the ferries to transport you to the islands of the Rio Formosa, which is a must-do. Highly recommend this hotel and its super staff.

Great hotel located in Olhão. Large comfortable king sized bed in room. One of the best showers I have ever used in terms of water pressure and consistent temperature. Quiet room, very friendly staff. Special thanks to the 24 year old (former) UK based concierge during the stay. (Didnt catch his name but he was very friendly and recommended some great restaurants on both nights).Easy walking to the Olhão market and there was a decent supermarket just down the street from the hotel. Will definately stay there again!!

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Cidade de Olhao for seven nights recently and I can confirm all the complementary remarks made on current reviews. We found the reception staff incredibly friendly and helpful and although quite basic the accommodation was spotless and comfortable. My wife is troubled with a back problem and she found the fifteen minute walk to the waterfront quite arduous but on the other hand the bus and train stations were a few minutes walk from the hotel. This hotel has a lot to commend it.

We have visited Olhao before and so were familiar with the area. The Hotel Cidade de Olhão was very modern, clean and comfortable and is an easy walk to the many restaurants and the ferry to Culatra. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and I would stay there again, it was good value for money

Resulta que abandonó el hotel porque ya termine mis vacaciones ,cuando voy de regreso a mi ciudad me doy cuenta q me han descontado ese mismo día 120 euro ,cosa q no me cuadra por que pague el día q entre el dinero acordado de la reservs
Sin previo aviso sin llamar sin hablar sin nada me veo que me cobran 120 euro en mi cuenta...Yo no he consumido nada en ese hotel no desayuno ni bebidas ni nada para q me cobrarán eso aparte y más sin estar yo delante sin mi consentimiento y sin ser consiente de ello

Preço elevado. Os espaços são "apertados" e falta algo de característico ao hotel. O pequeno almoço não está incluído apesar do elevado preço. Próximo do centro de Olhão.

Very friendly and helpful staff, all with a sense of humour and very good English. Not very appealing street view but hotel itself is very modern and clean, room on the small side but good central location and very quiet on poolside. Pool area nice, water warm, sufficient beds with free towels. Well stocked breakfast but lots of small bars in the location if you want something smaller.

Es un hotel céntrico, pequeño, en el que se respira calma. Las instalaciones están bien cuidadas. La zona de piscina y terraza está realmente bien aunque pequeña. Incluye servicio de toallas p gratis para la piscina que posee. Nos alojamos en el estudio en régimen solo alojamiento. Está cuidado en detalles, menaje completo de cocina, pero justo en espacio para familias de 3. La habitaciones que dan a calle algo ruidosas por la noche. Trato amable y servicial del servicio del hotel.

Le tarif était le plus avantageux de quelques euros sur Agoda, seulement, j'ai eu une chambre en rez de chaussée qui donne sur une rue bruyante à cause des voitures, avec les poubelles juste devant la fenêtre.
Le quartier n'est pas agréable du tout....
Très décevant
Je ne recommanderais pas cet hôtel.

The place was spotless. Received a warm welcome on arrival. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about local area. The apartment was advertised as a studio but there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped.

Tive alguns contratempos mas que resolveram em 10 minutos como prometido,...de resto está bem localizado, a area de piscina é boa e as instalações tambem,....é uma pena ter tanta humidade e os quartos não estao muito quentes mas isso é muito relativo....nao ter mini bares nos quartos tambem é um ponto contra a meu ver.

We did spend almost a week at this beautiful and really cozy hotel. They just recently opened so there might be a few bits and bobs that could be done better. Nothing serious though, we are talking about little things like a few hooks falling of the bathroom wall. (They fixed it of course!) The owners have done an amazing job regarding the architecture and the layout of the rooms. Everything was very tidy, the air conditioning was quiet and the breakfast very good. And the small pool area and helpful staff only added to a fantastic stay. This is a tiny jewel that we can highly recommend.

Hemos estado en un estudio para 2 personas. Estupendo, todo nuevo y muy bien decorado.
El personal muy amable. La ubicación ideal a 5 minutos de la zona antigua, nos desplazamos andando. Visitamos Faro y Tavira fuimos en transporte público, muy barato. La estación de trenes y de autobuses a 5 minutos del hotel. Sin duda repetiríamos.

Fabulous hotel, stayed in apartment style room with kitchenette. Cleaned every morning and always got sun loungers during the day. 2mins walk to bus stop and 10mins walk to main train station. Would recommend.

Tout d'abord un GRAND MERCI à Eunice et Natalia qui nous ont bien conseillé sur les lieux à découvrir, sur les bons restaurants et surtout merci pour leur amabilité, leurs sourires et authenticité.
L’hôtel est mignon, très propre, les chambres sont très bien insonorisées, les petits déjeuners sont simples, complets et très copieux.
La piscine est agréable et permet de bons petits moments de détentes.
Nous recommandons sans hésitation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ne vous fier pas aux apparences extérieures de ce vieil immeuble, dès que lon pousse la porte tout est parfait un acceuil super (a condition de maîtriser anglais ou portugais ) tout est récent et moderne, superbe piscine petit dej top et hyper frais. Logé en chambre supérieure ne vous attendez pas à une chambre immense néanmoins cest suffisant, salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. Tout est propre, literie et draps très confortable. Seul bémol si vous avez un véhicule en pleine saison il est très difficile de se garer malgré les nombreux parking aux alentours et lhôtel na quune seule place de parking réservée , nous en avons fait les frais puisque la police ne nous a pas épargné un pv, la guardia nest pas très conciliante avec les touristes.

Piscine très agréable, bonne situation.Nous avions réservé pour 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants de 10 et 12 ans) : nous avons eu une chambre avec seulement 3 lits !!!! Après discussion, lhôtel nous a trouvé une autre chambre avec 4 lits.Pas de place de parking et dur de se garer à Olhao.

長距離バスの乗降場所から至近で、迷う心配がないのが良いと思います。市場への行き方も簡単です。ホテル自体も、小さめながら清潔感があって良かったです。朝食をホテルで食べることもできますが、時間とタイミングが合えば、市場で色々と買い食いするのが楽しめると思います。

Muy buena ubicación, a 5 minutos de los mercados y del paseo marítimo. Personal atento y servicial, te ayudan en todo lo que necesites, instalaciones muy limpias. El desayuno que ofrecen es bastante completo. La zona de la piscina cuenta con sillas y mesas donde relajarse. Nos encantó.

Sehr schönes und zentrales Hotel, wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof und der Altstadt entfernt. Direkt um die Ecke befindet sich ein Busbahnhof, von dem aus man zu den Nachbarorten geöangen kann. Supermarkt um die Ecke, täglich geöffnet.Einzig das Frühstück war etwas durchschnittlich, lohnt sich nicht, da kann man lieber in eine der Pastelarias in der Nähe gehen. Zimmerservice war gut und freundlich, fand jedoch meistens erst am Nachmittag statt.

Hôtel rénové très beau avec une belle terrasse et piscine pour se détendre, personnels très accueillant, disponible.
Point négatif: petit déjeuner très bien si vous êtes dans les premiers sinon vous avez ce qui reste. Manque quelque finition de peinture. Plantes en déco sur la terrasse ne sont pas entretenues . Dommage

Wir hatten eine so tolle Zeit an der Algarve und das Hotel ist von der Lage ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Das Hotel ist modern und sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, hilfsbereit und hatten gute Tipps für uns. Wir haben nur ein mal aus zeitlichen Gründen im Hotel gefrühstückt, das war völlig in Ordnung. Wir haben allerdings meist in einem Café in der Stadt gefrühstückt, um bereits in der Sonne zu sein. Der Pool und die Terrasse sind auch sehr nett. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Liegen am Pool sollten noch mit Auflagen ausgestattet werden, mit einem einfachen Handtuch ist es doch etwas unbequem. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Top gelegen. Netter, hilfsbereiter Service. 24h Rezeption. Der Pool ist wirklich schön. Frühstück nicht notwendig, man kann auch in die Stadt gehen aber gut, wenn man zeitig aufbrechen möchte.

Se nota que el hotel ha sido reformado totalmente. La habitación muy cómoda y limpia, de decoración minimalista, con dos camas de 90 juntas, que daba la sensación de una cama XL. La terraza con piscina en perfecto estado. Muy buena atencion.

Espaço acolhedor. É uma boa opção de alojamento para quem vai ao Festival do Marisco, mas convém marcar com antecedência. Os quartos são simples mas razoáveis. O pequeno almoço é caro e pago à parte. Tem uma piscina interessante.

Genial! Mi reserva era 1 habitación doble para 2 adultos y la verdad es que el hostal es encantador. Esta todo reformado, las habitaciones son bonitas y luminosas y tiene piscina, zona de bar y aunque no tiene restaurante tienen una zona acondicionada para los desayunos tipo buffet. Y por supuesto relación calidad-precio inmejorable. Volveria sin dudarlo!

Zu allererst, nicht von der Außenfassade täuschen lassen. Der Innenausbau ist für ein 3 Sterne Hotel sehr schön und gemütlich gemacht. Es verbindet Altbau und Moderne gut miteinander und der Service ist sehr freundlich! Die Lage war perfekt zentral und mit wenigen Gehminuten waren wir bei den Restaurants und verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wer zu einem Strand möchte, kann hierzu die Fähre nach Armona nehmen. Der Preis lag pp insgesamt bei 3,40€. Weitere Strände sind mit dem Zug oder Bus erreichbar. Die Preise für den Zug sind jedoch günstiger! Ansonsten hat das Hotel einen Außenpool, der sehr schick ist. Frühstück ist für ein 3Sterne Hotel ordentlich und ausreichend.
Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Great service and super clean rooms. It's only 10m walking from the seaside and the walk is pleasant. Staff is excellent; nice, friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is not too big but perfect for the capacity of the hotel. Best breakfast in the area.
