Leider war das Zimmer deutlich unter den Erwartungen. Nach der ersten Nacht haben wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, dieses war etwas besser. Sauberkeit ist noch ausbaufähig.

Good basic accommodation with a lot of space in a good location. A few simple things would make a huge difference, though; there were no bowls in the kitchen, and then providing things like tea towels, a clothes airer and oven gloves - the kind of things you're not going to fly with - would be very helpful. Very frustrating that the electricity trips when you put just more than one hob on high. We found we couldn't put the oven on, one hob on low and boil some water at the same time. And couldn't use the microwave at all!

I had a lovely experience with this accommodation. ..knocked off a star as no double beds are available but ya can push the 2 single ones together.

Had a lovely short break away at the start of September with just my wife. Staff were good and the service was excellent

Disappointing. We spent two weeks here. The apartments are a good size but 'tired'. In need of a lot of tlc. Quiet area. Very good courtesy bus to beach and town. Basic hygiene poor around pool. Room cleaning very sporadic and had to ask to have jobs done on numerous occasions..eg, new toilet roll, bathroom cleaned, bins emptied, tea towel replaced. Definitely not value for money.

Vilabraca is a complex that’s ideal for families and couples. It’s in need of a bit of an update in places and is best described as starting to show its age. WiFi was intermittent in the apartment and there was a lack of cleaning implements mops buckets and brush to clean the tiled floor. Plus there was a new build close to our apartment and the workers parked outside the block when they should have parked a little off site. It’ll be a shame if it doesn’t get a face lift in the next few years otherwise it’ll start to look shabby.

The location and staff were excellent, however the apartments although spacious were bordering on substandard. I beleive the property is 30 years old and in need of serious refurbishment. If you can overlook the cracked tiles in the bathrooms and the shabby doors you will have a very pleasant stay.

Caro para a qualidade, limpeza péssima, cama com colchões horríveis, a varanda sempre suja, o telefone no chão, o sofá horrivel, sem Wi-Fi no apartamento e nos locais públicos nem sempre se conseguia apanhar , sem segurança, qualquer carro ou pesoa entrava e tinha acesso aos apartamentos

Very good location in a quiet residential area. Sadly the room was very poor for the price paid. Considering it was a self catering apartment we only had 2 electric rings and a small microwave to cook with. Room had 4 coat hangers, no pegs, no chopping board, not even a sharpe knife to cut food up. Pool area busy with benches reserved by 8.30 and then not used until midday or later. The cleanliness of the pool areas left a lot to be desired. Rubbish left for days on end. Benches hosed down a couple of times but tables left dirty. Weeds growing out of the paths does not give a good impression either. Overall, better attention to detail to justify the high rates would go a long way to improving the general appearance of the complex.

Albergo apparentemente carino a prima vista. Poco dopo vi accorgerete del contrario. Le camere sono "infestate"; su due camere prenotate i entrambe ho trovato una serie di insetti (formiche volanti e grossi vermi) provenienti dalle più piccole fessure. Per fortuna, ho trascorso un breve soggiorni in questa proprietà e i futuro non la considererò come possibile scelta per un soggiorno. Sconsigliato.

Bonjour à tous , Je revient tout juste de cet endroit et sincèrement je ne le conseil a aucune famille. Un endroit propre en apparence seulement, les piscines( surtout celle de dernière ) jamais nettoyées, des mouches qui commencent à manger vos plats avant vous, évacuation qui fuit dans la cuisine, manque du matériels de cuisine alors qu'on principe on a réservé une chambre familiale!!!???.. A la réception une personnes 4 parle anglais , il faut attendre qu'elle soit la pour faire une demande, et pour ceux qui parle que le français sachez que vous allez devoir vous débrouillez tout seuls!!!! Pas de Wi-Fi , trop de bruits la nuit ( camion de poubelle qui Passe à 2 heure du matin tout les soirs), les transat sont salles ( des carottes de mouette sèches depuis la nuit des temps ) jamais nettoyées. Alors je ne comprend même pas comment cet hôtel à eu 3 étoiles @!!!!????

El apartamento tenía pinta de descuidado y viejo y apenas tenía nada. Ni siquiera lo mínimo para poder lavar los platos.

Apartments are very clean and tidy with option of food which I had breakfast there wasn't too bad at all! Close to beaches in car or can even walk. Staff very friendly and any problems they can help.

Personnel sympathique. L'appartement est propre. Mais il ne faut pas s'attendre à du moderne. Mais pour une nuit c'était satisfaisant.

Positive: Good location. The shop is oposite the portal - very helpful. The place is on 10-15 min fast walk from great and colorful rocky formations, stip bays - breath taking view points - MUST SEE (Point da Piedades area and to walk around, it is amazing). The size of the flat was very good. The staff - very helpfull and very friendly. Nice size balcony and nice view to the swimming pool, a lot of flowers. I got nice, sunny flat with big size kitchen. Good air-conditioning in the bedroom and the launge also for heathing in the Autumn off pick season and nights. Great.Negative: 1. Doors and wordrobes look very scruffy, old, durty - they definitely need re-painting. 2. The TV is rubbish on the point of programs menu - no music programs, no any films. Just 6 programs as total - 4 of them. football, 1 news, 1 stockmarket - BOARING. 3. Matresses - very uncomfortable on the point that you can feel those metalic springs on zig-zags pushing beneath your back. It is painful and I couldnt sleep very well because of that. 4. The floors were not clean very well - there was pubic hair on the floor of the WC and on the WC, other hairs in the corridor, dusting not done at all. 3 of the light bulbs in the corridor didnt work and 1 was shimmering in the bedroom - not good if you like to write or read. 2 of the doors handles - brooken. It needs some maintenance and proper cleaning and moping.

We stayed in a spacious appartements with a fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony. Unfortunately the beds were old, hard and uncomfortable.

Eigentlich könnte es hier schön sein. Reinigung der Zimmer schlecht. Frühstück sehr geringe Auswahl, 1x Wurst 1x Käse, die ganze Woche immer das Gleiche . Personal (Best. Rezeption ) sehr freundlich und angenehm.

A mixed bag. Definitely a 3 star place. Pros: - spacious apartment, very clean on arrival, good hot water and powerful shower. Decent size kitchen for a week's stay. - friendly staff at reception and the bars. - OK beers and cocktails. - two bars; one at one pool, one at the other. - free shuttle to beaches and town. - peaceful (we went first week in Oct). - handy location for town and the various beaches if you don't mind a 15-20 min walk or so. Or the free shuttle. Cons: - ATROCIOUS bed. It was so hard I literally had bruises. We tried the sofa bed. Awful. So we lugged the mattress from the sofa bed and put it on top of the bed. Barely manageable. - Poorly equipped kitchen. Just enough crockery... If they provided anything to wash up with. No soap, sponge/cloth, or draining rack. The cleaners didn't do it either. - No cleaning supplies. At all. So the apartment ended up a bit dirty. Nothing to sweep the floors or clean the surfaces, and the cleaners didn't do it. - TV just had a couple of news channels. - No WiFi in the rooms (though luckily for us we could just about access the one in the pool area). - People not using the shower before getting in the pool.. Ew. Tips: - I guess it's cheap enough so see if you can ask for a pool view room, so at least you get free WiFi and a short walk to the pool. - Top your bed with the sofa bed mattress.

Been coming here for years to a private apartment, nice pools in but the restaurant let's it down, it's a bit like a canteen.

Een erg mooi en ruim appartement in een rustige wijk. Geweldige service, zowel van het receptie-personeel als van de schoonmaaksters die je best af en toe iets kunt toestoppen! Iedere dag schone handdoeken maar om de andere dag was voor mij voldoende geweest. Supermarkt waar echt van alles te koop is (ook heerlijk verse broodjes en zoveel fruit (mango's)) om de hoek. We hebben genoten!

Chambre immense avec très grande salle de bain et cuisine. Vraiment très bien

Nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience dans la vieille ville alors nous avons cherché ailleurs. Et vilabranca nous a séduit , nous avons prolongé de deux jours . Comme beaucoup de complexes touristiques un peu vieillissants il faudrait un peu de rafraîchissements , mais le bon côté est une nature adulte et magnifique. L appartement , les piscines ,les deux bars ....sont top

He estado hospedada en casa Jasmim , pero en sí toda la comunidad de los apartamentos es una pasada!! El ambiente,la piscina la terracita que ponen música en vivo !! Es como una fiesta para toda la comunidad. Me he enamorado de mi estancia en Vilabranca!! Repetiré seguro.

The space we had was big and comfortable, perfect for families and group of friends.. Food was nice but I spected more choices on the breakfast.. Personal was really friendly. There is no big bed for couples

Muy buena atención, el duplex enorme y muy cómodo, merece la pena pagar un poco más por el desayuno, las piscinas muy buenas aunque el agua estaba muy fría. Hay cerca un pequeño súper que tiene casi de todo. Busca la pizzeria Pinguin que está cerca y pide Cataplana, da igual que sea tamboril o mixta, están las 2 esquisitas...

Las camas eran muy incómodas y el agua de la ducha salía o muy fría o muy caliente. En el apartamento de al lado ponían la música alta todo el día, fumaban marihuana y a todos los empleados que pasaron por delante pareció darles igual. No recomiendo el sitio.

Estancia pésima, no se merecen ni una estrella. Camas malísimas imposible descansar. En el apartamento de al lado hay gente fumando marihuana, bebiendo y con la música a tope desde las 6 de la mañana, nadie dice nada. El personal les ha oído. Por no hablar de que en las habitaciones no hay wifi, le tienes que pagar a parte...no recomiendo el sitio a nadie. Para las condiciones en las que está es carísimo.

Acabo de llegar de este hotel y han sido el peor sitio en el que he podido estar en mis vacaciones. La habitación súper asquera no me han limpiado ni un solo dia, estaba todo muy sucio,las puertas de las habitaciones rotas al igual que en la cocina, los armarios olían muy mal, las camas sólo estiraban las sábanas,no había nada para poder limpiar,tuve que comprar estropajos y detergentes y lejia para poder limpiar, el baño ni siquiera lo limpiaron ni un día.....el desayuno pésimo nada de variedad los 8 días desayunando lo mismo, PARA NADA RECOMIENDO ESTE SITIO

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Es gibt 2 Pools, beide verfügen über eine kleine Bär mit Getränken und Snacks nebst einer Happy Hour. Die Appartments sind großzügig geschnitten und verfügen (in meinem Fall) über zwei Single-Sized Betten und eine Schlafcouch für bis zu zwei weitere Gäste. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und für Selbstversorger befindet sich direkt am Eingang der Anlage ein kleiner Supermarkt. Ebenfalls vor der Anlage ist eine Bushaltestelle (Linea 2), die einen günstig (1,20€) mit allen umliegenden Stränden und dem Stadtzentrum verbindet. Zusätzlich bietet die Anlage dreimal täglich kostenfreie Fahrten zu/von den Stränden und dem Stadtzentrum an. Es gibt wie gewohnt auch ein kleines Restaurant, dass verglichen mit den umliegenden Möglichkeiten jedoch etwas über dem Preis liegt.

Horroroso, sucio, viejo, olía mal, no nos limpiaron el apartamento, no había nada con que limpiar, lleno de hormigas, los colchones de siglo Xll, las hamacas viejas sucias y rotas. Podía seguír, para mí una pesadilla, el peor sitio donde he ido a pasar unas vacaciones y lo más importante Carisimo.

J’ai hésité entre deux et trois étoiles ... mais ce sera deux! Il est rare que je mette moins de 4 étoiles mais solidarité oblige, je m’en lance!

Faites attention les étoiles des hôtels n’ont pas l’air de vouloir dire la même chose au Portugal je pense. C’est ce qu’on en a deduit du moins.
Celui ci est un deux étoiles au maximum.
Lieu chouette, personnel très gentil et de visu appart joli et spacieux, petit bar autour de la piscine et petites terrasses chouettes! Pour le reste...
Ménage minimum, moisissures assumées dans les sanitaires, ça se voit mais ça ne l’es choc pa apparemment... odeur d’égouts permanente, draps plains de taches jaunes à notre arrivée,
piscine dégradée qui se détériore gravement, mon fils s’amusait à m’apporter les bouts de piscine tombés au fond de l’eau... ( pas très secure pour les enfants), vaisselle réduite au minimum dans les appart, même pas possible de boire une tisane ou un café ! Sérieux? Sauf pour les adeptes d’expression, ouf il y a deux mini tasses !
Et le meilleur pour la fin,faite très attention, quand il est mentionne que c’est un sofa qui sert de lit !!!!
C’est honteux! Ce n’est pas un sofa c’est un espace de clic clac de fin de soirée qui a largement mérité sa retraite! C’est à peine potable pour des enfants en bas âges légers. Bon courage si vous tombez là dessus... les vacances ne sont elles pas faites pour se reposer quand même?... une literie dans un hôtel n’est pas par définition une chose importante...? Je ne comprends pas...
Une chambre vendue pour 4 dans cet hôtel n’en a que la taille!
Si vous voulez séjourner ici il va falloir emmener Quelques trucs; vaisselle si vous comptez manger ici, oreillers, draps si vous aimez les draps propres... et tout le reste produits ménagers si vous voulez éviter l’odeur d’égouts...

Pessoal da recepção muito atencioso, os apartamentos são como se fossem casa espalhadas pela vila, tem estacionamento na porta do apartamento. Os apartamentos são amplos, tem sala de jantar, sala de estar, cozinha com geladeira e microondas e ainda utensílios para cozinha , 1 suite e 1 banheiro. O meu apartamento que era no térreo tinha até um quintal nos fundos. Possuí 2 piscinas , restaurante e a localização é boa, ficando próxima de.algus restaurantes e 15 minutos a pé para praia. Possuí transporte para o centro da cidade, gratuito.

Mucha tranquilidad, amplio apartamento, buen aparcamiento, única pega los colchones viejos.

MONEY BEING STOLEN FROM APARTMENTS no one can do anything with it . Everything was fine untill there was money missing from our department, no cameras apparently no one was in our room even to clean the apartment , I won’t recommend this to anyone if they don’t want their money missing when they got doors and windows closed. They won’t do anything with this because no evidence. ?????

Muito calmo, piscinas limpas, bom serviço de quartos com limpeza diária. Localização fantástica e próximo de tudo: 10m a pé da praia de dona Ana, praia de Port de mós e Centro de Lagos.

This place is just wonderful, situated between Lagos town and Porto De Mos beach, it's ideally suited. Two big pools, restaurant and two bars, with a three time a day shuttle bus taking you to two beaches or the town, with return journeys. The only downside is, this is a quiet adult only place, well it should be, but bored young children spoil the quiet ambience, which is a big negative. This place has nothing for children, they need more entertainment, which Vila Branca doesn't fulfil. Two pools, one should be adult only and let the little brats have their own where there can cry, throw tantrums, shout and be extremely annoying without affecting people that have paid good money to stay here. The children and noise interference from kids who are not occupied by their parents should be addressed, these adults don't give a monkeys about anyone else or other residents quest for a quiet peaceful holiday, a chance to get away and recharge their batteries. Be aware of the kids.!!!

Nice sized rooms and nice ambiance. The rooms were cold and no way to turn on heat. The wifi doesnt work in the rooms only in the pool and reception area. The towls are inky chaged every couple of days.

En arrivant à 10h : plus de croissants, plus aucune table propre ! Vu le prix, un effort pourrait être fait !

No recomendado para nada Mi novia y yo estuvimos una semana y no limpiaron ni un día Solo te hacen las camas y te cambian las bolsas de basura y las toallas, y no todos los días El apartamento no está equipado con los accesorios adecuados para limpiar la cocina teniendo en cuenta que si utilizas la cocina luego no te lo limpian El sofá olía montón a humedad y el apartamento también olía muy mal Tuvimos que comprar en el supermercado productos de limpieza y ambientadores para poder estar un poco más cómodos Lo normal es que te entreguen un apartamento limpio, pero este estaba sucio En general están muy descuidados Solo hay que ver los jardines...... Lo único bueno, la tranquilidad y que son grandes Por lo demás, no vuelvo jamás

Está bastante bien. Limpio, bien situado, tranquilo, facil acceso, facil aparcamiento, buenas piscinas, muy amables en recepción, como decía al principio todo bien, salvo las camas, que son muy pero que muy incomodas. A pesar de esto volvería o lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

It's a nice survival overnight place to be, but I wouldn't really recommend it for long periods of time. I stayed for three nights, the pool is great and the only complain I could find is the bad WiFi signal.

Está reformado, muy nuevo, limpio tranquilo, cerca d tiendas y con servicio de transporte gratuito a las playas cercanas y al centro del pueblo, que es muy bonito y con mucha animación. Personal muy joven y amable. Dos piscinas, con piscinita infantil. Bar y restaurante

große Zimmer + Shuttleservice zu Strand und Stadtzentrum + ruhig gelegen, keine Störungen der Nachtruhe + Küche die für das nötigste ausreicht + viele Parkplätze für Mietwagen - Zimmer bei Ankunft nicht verfügbar = Wartezeit - Zimmer nicht ordentlich geputzt bei Übergabe und dreckig - Frühstück gut aber in Auswahl beschränkt - Küchenausstattung mangelhaft ( Salz, Pfeffer, Putzlappen, Spülmittel usw. fehlten ) - Keinen Besen oder ähnliches in zimmern vorhanden - schlechter bis kein ,,room Service" ( Handtücher, Klopapier usw. ) - Balkon und Treppen dreckig ( barfußgang sehr unangenehm) - WLAN nur am Pool und selbst da teilweise sehr schlechter bis kein Empfang ( 2017 ? ) Neutral Zimmer und Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen Preis nicht günstig aber ok Man kann für das Geld nicht mehr erwarten Ich bin kein Luxus- Urlauber und habe nicht allzu große Ansprüche an eine Unterkunft, die nur zum schlafen dienen soll. Aber... Dieses 3 Sterne Appartement Hotel hat seine Sterne nicht verdient. Das Zimmer stand bei Ankunft nicht bereit und wir mussten - trotz vereinbartem Zeitpunkt -warten, weil es noch gereinigt werden musste. Tatsächlich war das Zimmer danach aber immer noch so dreckig, dass wir den ,,putztrupp" gleich nochmal anfordern mussten.... Wir hatten 4 Tage überhaupt keinen room Service, erst auf Nachfrage wurden uns neues Klopapier, Handtücher und Müllbeutel für die Küche gestellt. Den Müll der beim Kochen usw. natürlich anfällt, mussten wir in selbst improvisierten Müllbeuteln entsorgen.... dazu musste man natürlich erstmal eine Mülltonne suchen.... die ganze Anlage wirkt auf den ersten Blick ok, ABER auf den Zweiten ist alles sehr heruntergekommen... auf dem Balkon und den Treppen zum Zimmer, türmen sich Laub und Spinnweben mit div. anderen Sachen. Beim Frühstück sollte man keine allzu hellen Sachen anziehen da die Stühle anscheinend nie abgewischt werden und alles von einem Schmutzfilm überzogen war...

We are pretty low maintenance travellers, but these apartments have some of the worst beds we had in 3 weeks of travelling. No WIFI(2017!) for at least half the building. Seems like they opened without being fully ready for guests, Drilling mid day by the pool, unfinished restaurant, etc. I also left something in our room and attempted to contact the front desk after we had left 1 or 2 days later and it was exceedingly difficult to speak with someone over the phone (incorrect phone numbers, no response via email). Ultimately they told me they would check in the room/speak with cleaning staff or speak with the guests currently staying in our old room. We believe none of this was done as communication was very lackluster and eventually they told us it wasn't in the room anymore (nearly a week later).

End of season this place was a total disater out of 10 nights i never had one that was noise free in the wind shutters banging (although staff were informed about it nothing was done (the apartment was empty) People moving beds together at 1am having just arrived just not a place i would recommend , staff were so so being end of season and wifi is a joke, the beds were horrible so hard and uncomfortable . Place was resonably clean on arrival but saw a cleaner once !

Lovely tranquil locations about 1mile from Lagos town centre.The public bus into town runs every hour from just outside the gate.Taxi back as its uphill cost less than 5euro.Restaurant and other services in Vilabranca are closed in the winter months but there are cafes and a supermarket just across the road.Very clean and well kept property .For the price its good value and we would return.

Was about 20 minutes walk into town, downhill so not suitable for people who have walking difficulties although there is a bus stop outside apartments. small supermarket across the road and couple of restaurants a few minutes away. Didnt try the restaurant on site so cant comment.

A little out of town, about 20 mins walk. 2 bed apartment very spacious. Lovely views towards the sea. Would recommend asking for top floor. Only gripe is no hair dryers or iron, have to keep borrowing from reception. 1 euro a day for Internet and that didnt always work. Staff very good. Lagos lovely with good transport links. We came in by train from Faro for under 8 euros and left for Lisbon by bus 20 euros.

Clean and tidy site. Apartment was nice, large kitchen but not very well stocked for 'self catering'. Was a little disappointed that we only saw the cleaners twice in 2 weeks to empty bin's (family of 5 in apartment)also they were a little slack dealing with an issue we had (but then I should have moaned more) Pool & poolside were great. Bar/lounge was super homely and good prices too. Bar staff went above and beyond. Town/beach are both easily walkable too.

Not bad for the price. Would be good for families. The rooms were more rundown than the photos and it can be noisy if you have noisy neighbours. Also there was no wifi in our room and the wifi in the bar and pool area wasn't free.

Résidence très bien entretenue tant le jardin que les piscine. L'appartement était en très bon état et meublé avec du mobilier contemporain. Seul le micro-onde était en mauvais état (chambre 202) Personnel accueillant.

We've just returned from a great family holiday in Lagos and Vilabranca provided the ideal base for our travels around the Algarve. It offers simple but very decently appointed accommodation which was spotlessly clean when we arrived and which was kept that way with regular visits from the friendly cleaners. The restaurant on site was really good and we enjoyed an excellent barbeque there just a few evenings ago with beautifully cooked fresh fish and meats on offer. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and we always felt nothing was too much trouble for them. Me, my wife and my daughter all agreed that we would love to return to stay at Vilabranca again in the future and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Lagos. One final word on the previous reviewer's comments about local dogs barking...in my experience of the Algarve, the 'evening barking dog(s)' is a perennial feature of virtually any location you choose to stay at. It's almost unavoidable! I don't think it would be Portugal without the evening barking dog, and I would actually go as far as to say I'd be a bit disappointed if my holidays in Portugal didn't feature it at some point.

Mal, mal, mal. Hicimos una reserva de uno de sus apartamentos de la que recibimos confirmacion y cuando llegamos al hotel (VILABRANCA APARTAMENTOS) nos encontramos con que la reserva habia sido cancelada, supuestamente por la empresa intermediaria a traves de la cual se hacia el pago. La unica solucion que nos daban era contactar nosotros mismos con dicha empresa. Tras quejarnos nos dejaron utilizar el telefono de la recepcion y pudimos contactar con la intermediaria quien nos dijo que ellos no habian cancelado nada. VILABRANCA APARTAMENTOS en ningun momento puso el mas minimo interes en contactar con la empresa intermediaria para solucionar el problema, solo se limitaban a decir que VILABRANCA APARTAMENTOS no se hacia responsable y culpaba a la empresa intermediaria de todos nuestros problemas. Al final nos buscaron otra alternativa, despues de enfadarnos, pero tuvimos que asumir nosotros la diferencia de precio pues en VILABRANCA APARTAMENTOS no se hacian responsables. Muy, muy, muy mal. Nada recomendable. NOT RECOMENDED

A wonderful big apartment with a huge kitchen. The sleeping room is also big and convenient. The swimming pool is just outside and very nice. Also for the younger ones. It locates a bit far from the center and the scenic spots. But for a day of relaxing its just the place to be! Not expensive and a good choice.
