Sehr gepflegte saubere Anlage im Stil einer Estancia.
Chef /Chefin und Team sind super nett und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer sind - insbesondere die Apartment - großzügig und sauber, leider jetzt (September 2018) gibt es Stechmücken. Diese finden einen beim Abendessen auf der Balustrade vor dem Restaurant wie auch nachts im Zimmer (*SSSSssssss) - habe mir im Supermarkt kurzerhand eine chemische Keule besorgt und das Problem selbst behoben.
Das Essen ist sehr gut. Fisch und Fleisch im Wechsel, leckere Zubereitungen. Es gibt in der Halbpension abends drei Gänge und zuvor Oliven /Brot.
Beim Frühstück fehlt nichts, immer dazu frisches Obst und Tomaten /Gurken, ansonsten standards.
In Summe empfehlenswert, idealerweise einen Mietwagen entweder ab Flughafen oder ins Hotel liefern lassen.
Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig außerhalb.

For more than 6 years we visit this complex. A lovely PLACE, nice staff, catia, patricia, rui many thanks for all kindness. Lovely appartement, swimming poule, garden, good weather. We enjoy for 2 weeks. Hope to see you net year

Petit hôtel de campagne, à quelques kilomètres de la côte. Assez tranquille, sauf à certains petits-déjeuners où la musique était un peu trop forte, soit inappropriée.
La chambre double est assez grande pour 2, mais placard encastré -contenant frigo - trop petit / mal agencé. Grande salle de bain.
Petit-déjeuner: servi à partir de 8:30 (jusqu’à 10). Plutôt bien garni. Les jus de fruits proposés en carafe sont des boissons au goût artificiel et pour certaines gazeuses.
Piscine propre mais l’eau n’est pas chauffée.

Pessoal simpático e disponível. A piscina é praticamente nossa. O colchão é duro. Reservei através do booking e não vinha peq. Almoço incluido e é muito caro para pagar a parte 14€ por pessoa por dia. Mas no geral foi bom.

Gemütliche Anlage etwas abseits vom Trubel, sehr schöne Appartements, sauber & funktionell eingerichtet! Für Erkundigungen & Strandbesuche ist zwingend ein Auto erforderlich! Die Stadt Lagos ist ca. 5 km entfernt!
Fakto: Wenn man sich erholen möchte, ist das genau das richtige!

An und für sich ein schönes und kleines ruhiges Hotel. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, leider wurde unser Zimmer erst gegen 17:00 Uhr gereinigt oder gar nicht.
Das Frühstück war ok aber auch nicht wirklich berauschend, wogegen das Abendessen wirklich lecker war, es gab abwechselnd Fisch oder Fleisch mit Vorspeise und Nachtisch.
Die Badezimmer gehören dringend renoviert, die Fugen sind verschimmelt, an der Decke über der Dusche ebenfalls Schimmelflecken und der Duschvorhang hat auch schon bessere Tage gesehen.
Schade das Hotel könnte eine echte Perle sein.

Llegamos al hotel a las una y media después de siete horas de viaje esperando la entrada a las dos de la tarde, y nos dijeron que disculparamos porque la habitación no estaba lista aún y que la tendríamos a las tres de la tarde. Aprovechamos para dar una vuelta y almorzar por la zona de alrededor ya que el hotel está en mitad del campo y el coche es necesario para todo. Regresamos de nuevo sobre las cuatro y media o cinco menos algo de la tarde y aún no tenían la habitación, nos dan la llave y nos dicen que esperemos cinco minutos mientras vemos las instalaciones es del hotel, de esos cinco minutos estuvimos esperando otra media hora más con la limpiadora dentro de la habitación y nosotros en la puerta y con otras muchas cosas en las que mejor no voy a entrar en detalle... El hotel es precioso, el entorno muy bonito, pero el personal, salvando la atención correcta de la chica de recepción es pésimo, por lo cual no nos quedamos ni a desayunar aún teniéndolo incluido en la estancia. Sin duda no volveremos.

Beautiful place! When we first arrived I was in love. However the administration did not communicate well with the customer so we did not know requirements of our stay so things did not work out well. Did not really feel welcome from the admin although housekeeping was most considerate. The are is beautiful but you do need a vehicle. Beautiful beaches in Lagos and Lux!

L'hôtel est jolie. Nous avons testé. 2 chambres, la première était très limite et le lit vieillot et inconfortable. Le personnel a accepté volontier de nous changer de chambre le lendemain. La chambre était beaucoup plus confortable et la literie plus agréable. Le personnel est à l'écoute.
Bon rapport qualité prix tout de même.
Le petit déjeuner est correct sans extravagance. Tres bien situé, il permet de visiter Sagres Lagos et la côté Ouest.
Nous déconseillons le restaurant, cher et pas très bon.

All'arrivo, Reception assente del tutto.
La donna della lavanderia è venuta ad aprirci la camera. Odore di muffa penetrante, doccia in vasca senza antiscivolo e senza maniglia, anni 60.
Armadio inserito dentro un piccolo ripostiglio dove si trovava anche la cassaforte ed un piccolo frigo rugginoso. Il letto matrimoniale misura 150 cm per 190 cm. Materassi con molle e cuscini di lana con bozzoli. Lenzuola strette che non arrivano a coprire i due corpi.
Privacy zero perché tutti i clienti passano davanti alla vetrage, unico accesso alla camera, con tenda coprente che ci lasciava completamente al buio. Colazione alle 8,45, troppo tardi e cena cena servita al tavolo senza menù e senza possibilità di scegliere; una sera carne e una sera pesce. Prezzi delle bevande non certamente bassi e luci molto soffuse che specialmente all'esterno impediscono di vedere gli scalini. Reception completamente o quasi al buio.
Non ci hanno mai preso i documenti e quando disperati il giorno successivo siamo venuti via, perché la nostra agenzia ci ha trovato una soluzione alternativa molto buona, alla reception non c'era nessuno.
Siamo stati INVISIBILI.
L'unica cosa bella è l'ambiente immerso nella natura.

Apesar de um pequeno contratempo, no final valeu a pena, o profissionalismo do staff a resolver questões imediatas foi notável, parabéns.
Foi uma semana impecável, recomendo vivamente, a simpatia, o conforto, a piscina e a localização relativamente perto da praia.

Een heel mooi en verzorgd appartementen complex, net buiten de drukken toeristen omgeving. Prachtig aangelegde tuinen en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Auto is hier wel noodzakelijk.

There hasn´t been anybody for checking-in. The appart. was open. Breakfast very late, € 11,00. / People there no friendly at all. Rooms were ok. Simpel, very cold (June). It´s 8 km from Lagos, up the hill, very very windy. Pool so cold, no chance. By leaving, there was nobody there. Very strange ….. wouldn´t recommend it at all.

Posto molto bello, camera decente ma piccola e non molto comoda. Colazione scarsa e piuttosto misera e solo a partire dalle 8,30, un po' tardino per le nostre abitudini. Il gestore non era affiancato da uno staff pur dovendo seguire tante cose. Siamo rimasti molto delusi soprattutto da una cosa: una sera abbiamo cenato in albergo e quando abbiamo chiesto il conto questo signore ha scritto il totale sulla tovaglietta di carta sulla quale mangiavamo. A parte il prezzo, non proprio economico, non ci ha rilasciato la ricevuta dicendo che le casse erano già chiuse ma che ce l'avrebbe data il giorno dopo, alla nostra partenza, cosa che non è avvenuta con nostro grande disappunto. Una ragazza alla reception ci ha detto che l'avrebbero mandata via email ma non è mai arrivata. Trovo che questa sia una grossa mancanza di rispetto per il cliente. Avrei messo due stelle ma questo episodio mi ha fatto a abbassare la valutazione.

Nao gostei do pequeno almoço a comida Tava toda contadinha MT MT pouca variadade nada de quentes nem uma torradeira tinha.enfim o quarto era bom sem nada a apontar já a casa de banho não posso dizer o mesmo pois a mangueira do chuveiro estava danificada.o hotel é MT caro para as condições que tem principalmente na parte das refeições!

Très bon séjour en famille, très à l'écoute. Chambre faite tous les jours. Cadre idyllique. Le seul bémol serait de devoir prendre la voiture pour aller à la plage ou en ville mais très bon emplacement car près de Lagos et Portimao ( ville et plage) à couper de souffle. Personnel discret mais adore les enfants. Vacances extraordinaires !

Quiet and off the beaten track, but with great access to N125 and A22. A perfect base to explore the Western Algarve. Beautiful gardens and great pool/s.
Silly, little niggles... 1€ per day for good wifi; continental breakfast served gradually between 9 and 10; our shower was tolerable, but needed a better clean.
Would definitely use again.

Pequeno almoço deixou muito a desejar muito pouco e reposto a conta gotas pão, bolos miniatura, croissants, pão de deus miniatura partidos a meio para render mais, choriçao cheio de gordura e esverdeado, copos miniatura para não levarmos muito sumo de cada vez. Internet nos quartos só a pagar 1€ por dia. Lençóis e toalhas com ar duvidoso. Meios rolos de papel higiénico, um sabonete mini, dois pacotinhos de champô e gel de banho que não foram repostos nos dias seguintes. Piscina muito boa e instalações amplas e agradáveis.

Świetna lokalizacja, w cichym miejscu, pośród pięknie utrzymanych ogrodów. Do Luz można dojść na piechotę (40minut). Pokój superior bardzo przestronny, z dużym tarasem - wystrój specyficzny, jak na zdjęciach, ale spójny i przyjemny, na pewno idealny dla pary. W łazience najlepsza hotelowa suszarka jaką napotkałam :-)
Przy takim wystroju i wyposażeniu łazienki (świetny prysznic z deszczownicą) kosmetyki w saszetkach rozczarowywały.
Śniadanie wg mnie pozostawiało trochę do życzenia: mały wybór wędlin, brak warzyw (pomidor, ogórek itp), produkty nie były niestety uzupełniane na bieżąco. Widok z tarasu restauracji wynagradza te niedociągnięcia.

Jeśli ktoś sobie ceni ciszę i spokój to polecam jak najbardziej! Spokojny mały rodzinny klimat, komplex apartametow (łącznie około 20) do najbliższej plaży Praia da luz 2km. Bez auta nie polecam! Śniadania mało różnorodne, codziennie to samo. Apartamety duże i czyste. Obsługa bardzo miła. Generalnie spokój cisza, dobre miejsce żeby wypocząć

Etwas vom Strand entfernt, deshalb sehr ruhig und somit zum Entspannen genial.Sehr nette Leitung des Hauses. Wünsche werden erfüllt.Sämtliches Personal sehr positiv zu bewerten.Ein wunderschön angelegter Garten als hervorragender Blick vo der TerrasseDie Anlage ist sehr ordentlich.Die Apartments sind sehr großzügig und die Terrasse gleich in Poolnähe.

We had an excellent stay in a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent. and right beside a fantastic pool. I would go back but i would hire a car. although the bus stop to Lagos is near by its a very dark walk.

Nur die Anweisung, dass unser Besuch (den wir zum Essen in unser Appartment eingeladen hatten) nur eine halbe Stunde bleiben darf, fanden wir SEHR SEHR unangebracht. Ist ja kein Krankenhaus oder Gefängnis!!!!

schwierig zu finden, aber gute Lage in den "Bergen" von Luz. Kleine, familiäre gepflegte Anlage, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, im Pool kann man sich auch mal abends und nachts abkühlen. Mit dem Auto (absolut notwendig) schnelle Anbindung an die Nationalstraße nach Lagos 10 Min. oder an die Westküste 30 Min. Auch Luz selbst bietet alles was der Urlauber braucht, genialer Strand und Spaziergang bis Praia de Mos in Lagos über die Felsküste.

Het hotel is erg moeilijk te vinden, we hebben een uur rondgereden, meerdere malen gevraagd en een gps gebruikt. De locatie van het hotel is erg afgelegen aan een onverharde weg, de zee en het centrum zijn alleen met de auto te bereiken. Het hotel ziet er verder mooi uit, het zwembad is prima en de kamers ook.

An excellent hotel with friendly staff and superb facilities. Although I stayed at a quiet time there was still attentive staff on hand to help. ie arrived late evening - they opened the bar for me, wanted laundry - next day shirts come back clean and ironed. Will be back!Only minor niggle was wifi service did not reach my room.

The major problem whilst we were there was the consistently fluctuating power supply. This applied to the majority of the rooms in the hotel. Lights would frequently grow dim then brighten and there were many power cuts. Similarly heating the room using the air conditioner became difficult. This made relaxation impossible.When we arrived the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. It took 3 days to fit a replacement. This meant that any showers taken in the first few days led to the room becoming damp for lengthy periods.The hotel was about 45 minutes walk from Luz, but a significant part did not have street lighting. As we had no torch we decided not to have an evening drink in the local bars. I certainly wouldnt risk driving the car under the influence.Im sure that if the holiday had been later in the year the faults described would have seemed less important, The days would have been lighter and warmer.The hotel itself could be described as a gem but only if it sorts out its electricity supply!

Wir wurden wie Freunde verwöhnt, Geburtstagskuchen am Frühstückstisch, Abends viele wunderbare Fischgerichte gekocht, jeden Wunsch von den Augen gelesen, unkompliziert ein Mietauto organisiert, weil wir Pech hatten in Lissabon wegen nicht akzeptabler Kredikarte.Ganze Hotelanlage so schön angelegt, speziell schöner Pool, überall schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten. Traumhaftes Zimmer, farblich eine Freude.Wir behalten unseren 25. Hochzeits und Geburtstag dank dieser herzlichkeit die wir dort erleben durften, in bester Erinnerung

Die kleine Anlage liegt sehr schön integriert in die Landschaft nördlich von Luz. Bei uns kam noch fantastisches Wetter in der Zeit Mitte Oktober dazu. Die Eigentümerfamilie gibt sich sehr viel Mühe mit der Pflege des Gartens. Die Appartments sind hübsch, zweckmäßig ausgestattet und ruhig, die Betten bequem. Der Pool ist groß und gibt der Anlage den besonderen Pfiff. Einziges kleines Handicap: Aus dem Warmwasserhahn gabs gelegentlich nur kaltes Wasser. Wir würden die Anlage sofort noch einmal buchen. Ein Mietwagen ist natürlich Pflicht.

From the grounds, to the hotel rooms to the staff to the food everything was really exceptional.This really is a neat place to stay with very clean and large rooms. The staff onsite was extremely friendly and outgoing. Highly recommend this place.A little hard to find but worth it!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The setting is gorgeous - pool view one side and mountains the other. The apartment was small but equipped well (although no oven) but it felt light and airy and was perfect for 2 people. Would suggest this complex if you like the peace and quiet but want to be a short drive/taxi ride to Luz or Lagos.

Das Hotel bietet eine hervorragende Ausstattung der Zimmer, die täglich sehr gewissenhaft gereinigt werden. Der Service ist sehr persönlich, Managerin Catia ist die gute Seele des Hauses und stets in allen Dingen ansprechbar. Der Pool ist sauber und für die Anlage vergleichsweise groß. Die Entfernung zu den vielen Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten der westlichen Algarve ist mit dem Auto gering. Wir planen einen weiteren Aufenthalt im nächsten Jahr.

The hotel is slightly outside Praia da Luz so expect a 2km walk to the village if on foot; This didnt put me off as the hotel had all the better views of the sunset, hills and trees for being outside main tourist area and scooters were easy to rent. The rooms were cleaned each day, the staff always had a smile and were helpful booking massages, boat trips for us. The on site food is reasonable and good and the pool was clean and surrounded by well kept shrubbery, trees We went as a couple and thought it was a lovely setting, but there were quite a few happy splashing families poolside. If you are entirely on foot and hate walking maybe get something closer but Id definitely recommend this overall.

Hotel très chaleureux. Personnel agréable, disponible. Service sans défaut. Jy retournerai sans aucun problème. Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Emplacement très Calme, parfait pour se reposer, besoin de prendre la voiture pour se ballader(peut etre un inconvenient pour certains). Très bon souvenir ... A quelques km de la plage, cest valable, et en plus, il y à la piscine à lhotel !!

We booked this hotel because of its close location to family we were visiting in Lagos. The village of Espiche is within easy walking distance for eating, but otherwise a car is essential, and you have to turn right at the second Espiche road sign and U-turn at these traffic lights to enter the road to the hotel as you cannot cross solid white lines on Portuguese roads. Although too cold to use when we were there, the pool is lovely and all rooms overlook it. Cannot comment on the dining facilities as we did not use them. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, with towels changed everyday.

Very good clean and stylish new hotel. Nice big well appointed room with massive bed! Lovely lady running the place. Only two problems - we were there in Jan and the tiled floors were very cold some rugs perhaps?) and the wireless broadband was pricey (should be free these days really). For the price we paid though it was a bargain, would definitely go back.
