Péssimo serviço. 40 minutos de espera por uma dose de peixe grelhado. Claramente um serviço com prioridade para os clientes estrangeiros.
Funcionário bastante displicente e sem preocupação em preparar a mesa de acordo com o prato que iria ser servido (faltaram guardanapos e condimentos para a refeição). Errou na descrição do prato ( acompanhamentos trocados) e não corrigiu a situação devidamente. A evitar!
Very bad service. 40 minutes of waiting for a shot of grilled fish. Clearly a priority service for foreign customers.
Staff very careless and unconcerned about preparing the table according to the dish that was going to be served (missing napkins and condiments for the meal). He was wrong about the description of the dish (accompaniments changed) and did not correct the situation properly. To avoid!

Gemütliches Ambiente, nettes Personal und großartiges Essen zum fairen Preis! Der Fisch ist auf klassisch portugiesische Art zubereitet. Wenn man draußen sitzt, sieht man sogar wie er über dem Holzkohlegrill gegrillt wird. Morgen gehen wir wieder hin.

Arroz de marisco inoubliable ! Très savoureux et super bien garni.

Bad service. Raw food. We waited 20 min for the menus, and another 30min for the waiter to take our order and bring some starters. Did I say there were only 4 tables at that time? Well, the waiter said "one table at a time". So we waited. Finally the food arrived, and we were polite, while we said we waited almost two hours for the food. His response was unbelievable: "You are on vacation, I'm working here". After the bill, when we commented on the delay, we were told by the cashier that there was another restaurant next door... If they don't want to work at a restaurant, why are they there? I felt like they were doing me a favour. They need to get out of Arrifana and check out other restaurants to see how it's done. Yes, it's that bad..

Muy acogedor, comida casera deliciosa y Rosario, la camarera, es un amor: habla mas de cinco idiomas y es muy atenta. Nos trató como una madre.

Buena cocina a precios moderadamente aceptables, buenos productos y elaboraciones muy ricas. La terraza es algo pequeña y aparte de esperar un poco hay que compartir mesa con otra pareja si solo sois 1 o 2. Pedimos la bruscetta de sardinas y eran de lata, estaba buena pero en un sitio de costa las esperas frescas, a parte pedimos las gambas de la casa que vienen con una salsa parecida a la salsa india "korma" estaban muy buenas.

Comida correcta, buen servicio. Gambas fritas demasiado cocidas (seguramente recalentadas al microondas), dejándolas secas y sin sabor. Por 14€ que vale el plato debería ser buen producto y bien tratado. Calamarcitos y carne de cerdo estaba bien!

Bom local para tomar as suas refeições mas .... Serviço de mesa muito lento ( excepto UMA empregada)..... Quase uma hora para servirem a comida, e para azar a nivel de bebida tudo o que pedia, estava esgotado.

Cuidado! Prescos para turista: 27,80 € para uma Dourada para uma pessoa.
Vorsicht! Touristenpreise: 27,70 € für eine Dourade für eine Person. Bin natürlich selbst schuld, weil ich mich leider zur Bestellung habe überreden lassen. Fallt nicht auf die Masche "Preis per Kg" rein. Leider machen das immer mehr Restaurants. 100m vor der Tasca kostet die Dourade mit ungefähr gleicher Größe 16 €, was in Portugal auch schon teuer ist.

Gut, aber nicht sehr gut, Fisch aber sehr teuer. Zwei Doraden frisch vom Grill, Qualität war okay, plus zwei Bier, kosten 70 Euro. Das was teuerste Essen im Portugal Urlaub. Mit Abstand, und wir haben sehr oft Fisch gegessen. Ich fand es heftig, Qualität und Preis passen da nicht. Wir gehen da nicht mehr hin.

Ein super abend. Die inhaber total nett. Jeder tipp war ein Volltreffer. Weinempfehlung perfekt. Der frisch gefangene fisch war sowas von zart. Unglaublich. Die Nachspeise der hammer. Dazu gabs schnaps aufs Haus. Morgen wieder

We had food there 5 times over two holidays. They have fantastic, inexpensive portuguese food. The starters, grilled fresh fish and steak are amazing. Wine selection and open wines are always tasty and service is fast.
They also offer extra child seats for small children.

Cenamos varias veces en este restaurante. La comida riquisima!!!! Nos han encantado los calamares - que ricos y con un plato comen dos personas fácilmente!!! También probamos la morena frita que nos pareció riquisima!!! Buena relación calidad-precio! Camarero muy atento y amable!!

Buena comida, un poco lentos pero llegamos bastante tarde a cenar y aún así nos atendieron bien. En general todo estaba bastante bueno, y precio aceptable. Probamos tanto carne como pescado, almejas, pulpo... recomendable.

Cuando llegamos habia mucha gente. Tocó esperar bastante y habia un poco de desorganizacion pero al final nos llego el turno y la espera merecio la pena. Todo muy bueno, precio razonable (no barato) y buen trato.

Nettes Ambiente, aufmerksames nettes Personal. Zu unserer Zeit sehr gut besucht. Grill ab 18.30Uhr täglich an.
Leider keine Sicht auf den Sonnenuntergang, aber draußen geschützt mit Blick auf das Meer.
Tagessuppe (Gemüsesuppe) für 2 Eur schmackhaft, Spareribs für 11 EUR hätte vielleicht 1-2 Rippchen mehr sein dürfen. Dafür geschmacklich sehr würzig (unmariniert, einzeln gegrillt), dazu leckere Kartoffeln als Beilagen und guter Salat. Pfefferrindsteak für 15,5 EUR mit gleichen Beilagen ebenfalls gut.

Comida casera muy rica. Buenísimo el paté de atún, el revuelto de salami, la sopa de pescado, la carne tierna, sabrosa y en el punto perfecto. Y nos encantó la Massada Peixe, la versión portuguesa de la cazuela de fideos.

Excellent ! Nous y sommes même retournés une seconde fois ! Les encornets délicieux, le riz de la mer excellent, la soupe de poissons très douce.. Découvertes culinaires agréables avec les percebes. Le service parfait et d'une grande gentillesse. Pas d'attente prolongée, même quand le restaurant était plein. A recommander.

Superb grilled fish and squid! First we had a really good sweetpotato soup, followed by great grilled fish and a good cake. We had wine from the region and the total bill was about 25 Euros. Great food for great price

Me and my family ate here for lunch and really enjoyed our meals. The portions were good, the food was tasty and the prices were fair.
Some little critiques that would have made it better:
My mum wasn't very hungry so tried to order something from the kids menu but was refused which she was annoyed by as she ended up not eating anything. It would be nice if they allowed adults to order from the children's menu in the future.
We hoped that there would have been a few snack options too, this would have been nice for a snack after coming from the beach. There were only full sized meals, but things like club sandwiches and BBQ meats would have been nice options.
Staff were slow to bring the bill, we asked 4 times over 20 minutes and it took us standing up to leave before they brought it over.

We didn't get to eat at this restaurant despite its appealing decor. Never in our lives have my partner and I ever experienced such rude staff. Not only were we ignored for ages on our arrival but we were walked into by the waiter twice who didn't apologise but continued to push past us and after politely saying excuse me to the woman behind the counter she frowned in anger and shook her head at us and said "what?" We said we would like a table for two to which the waitress began talking to the other waiter in Portuguese then between them they quickly and bluntly said well it will be a long wait. We decided to leave the restaurant and they didn't even notice us leave. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend giving a single cent to this business.

Lovely terrace with a view of the sea foam the front. Bench seating at tables with paper table clothes. Had sea bass that was seasoned with salt and grilled. Served with new potatoes & a little grated carrot. Nothing else. So simple and so good. Service was friendly & fast. Note: does not reopen after lunch until 7pm, only accepts Portuguese cards and cash.

Comida razoável, serviço péssimo.
Tempo de espera pela comida 2 horas. Comida servida às prestações. Fizemos um pedido e foram dizendo ao longo do tempo que a maioria do pedido afinal não havia. Crianças à espera de comida e prioridade de serviço para estrangeiros.
A intenção do petisco é as coisas virem ao mesmo tempo e ir-se petiscando.
Entre cada travessinha de petisco passavam cerca de 30 minutos.

The place looked nice so we decided to have diner here, we were hungry after a whole day of surfing. Prices are fair and the food was oke.
It seemed that they forgot our order because people arriving later, but getting their food earlier. So we said to the waitress that we were waiting for our bread. Within 2 minutes we had our bread, but no garlic butter. We had to ask for it. Then later my girlfriend received her starter and main dish at once, i got just my starter. Then when my girlfriend finished her meal i got my main.
It is not that bad that your order got forgotten, it can happen. But be honest and inform your customer about it. Oh and don't bring all the food at once.

Das Fisch Restaurant Tasca d'Arrifana hier am Alten Ort vom Fortaleza Restaurant ist unglaublich lecker und ein toller familiärer Service!! Lohnt sich!! Auch sehr faire Preise - ich bin Student.. Probiert die Entenmuscheln (percebes)!!
