Wir waren im Rahmen eine Jeep-Safari dort zum Mittagsprogramm. Ganz tolles traditionelles Restaurant. Man hat eine wunderbare Aussicht über die Gegend und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Bei den heißen Sommer Temperaturen, kann man sich im Pool auch wunderbar abkühlen.

Magnífico. Gente encantadora. Cerca de todo y lejos del ruido. Ideal para quedarse a vivir... Del desayuno ni hablamos... No hay palabras. Volveremos seguro y eso que Madrid queda lejos.

Leuk vakantie verblijf voor als je eens wat anders wil als een standaard vakantie. En toch nog vlak bij de Atlantische Oceaan. Gelegen vlak achter het toeristisch gebied in het achterland.

We stayed at Quinta da Fornalha on a family vacation. We loved the scene atmosphere of a farm, not to mention all the delicious fig that were in season. We were greeted by the owner, who was absolutely amazing in giving us a tour of the farm. When we were stuck in town because of a flat tire, that required a whole day to exchange the car at the Faro SIXTH rental, he offered us a special rate. He also let us sample the goods from the gift store, and overall welcomed us warmly. We stayed at the container, which was absolutely amazing, and also stayed at their largest living quarters by the reception, which was too large for us but lovely. I would definitely recommend staying at the Quinta de Fornalha. Its such a peaceful and rejuvenating place. If I happen to come back to Portugal, its definitely going to be on my list of places to return to.

For dinner not accommodation : Don't know where to begin on this experience. We were recommended for dinner to come here. We arrived and waited for 10 minutes for someone to appear so we could be seated. Once seated we awaited the menu for 20 minutes without water or offer of bread etc! We were given all presented with the days specials and a menu, to decide upon out choice! A further 20 mins later, we were able to order wine. We were given bread, no olive oil we requested butter. A further ten mins later we were told the aforementioned wine was not available and without alternative another different was opened and poured without a taste by the host. At this point we were eating dry bread with a little butter, awaiting to order our food. Suddenly a small dish of overally salted small fish arrived at our table. Inquisitive, we asked when we could make our order. The waiter fetched the host who'd advised us that our food was being prepared (we've still not ordered anything). The host returned 5 minutes later with the other special (that we hadn't ordered) and placed a selection of olive oils on the table and then lectured us on how they don't believe in butter on bread (yet we given dry bread which seemed abit strange). All the while we were drinking a wine that was not of our choice or approval that was clearly meant for a dessert dish. Upon eating the food that was given to us, we felt we did not had the appropriate crockery (it was a butter knife) to properly enjoy our food. One element of the food that was of particular interest was the potatoes from the land! These were ubdercooked, skin on, and generally something you would lick from the side of the road. At this point the poinient desert wine had ceternaly made its mark, we were looking to next food order which was cooked meats on bread. We were informed this would take 20 mins. After this time some bread, ham, cheese and tomatoes arrived, it was delicious but something we could have made (and had done earlier that day) from a local supermarket. Having to pay for this seemed slightly unjust but we did and we made our way home. This may be an amazing place to stay but we would not recommend this place for dinner.

Bom para quem gosta de animais (galinhas, patos, gatos por todo o lado) . Muito rural. A piscina é boa. As casinhas são muito simpáticas.

The organic side of life! You can stay in the lodges and enjoy the great food and organic wines they have available. Also a stroll through the orchards is super pleasant.

We just stayed in Casa Yaca and we absolutely loved it!! Everyone we met there was so friendly and accommodating. We had lunch and dinner with Maria and it was so imaginative and delicious. Being vegetarian in Portugal can be a little boring but what she prepared was just beautiful. The place wasn't very busy when we stayed so we had this amazing dining room to ourselves with an open fire, really good music and delicious organic wine. (side note..... zero hangover!) We will definitely be back! Xxxx

Espectacular para pasar un fin de semana con familia, amigos y niños!! Tranquilidad maxima, habitaciones y cocina bien equipada y decoradas rústicamente con gusto. Los servicios que presta el sitio son muy buenos desde el restaurante hasta poder coger las verduras y fruta de sus huertos o dar un paseo con los niños y ver animales y naturaleza. Parque infantil, piscina, aparcamiento lo tiene todo!!

Nice location in what is known as "agroturismo". This kind of tourism is growing rapidly in Portugal and encourages people to visit places while respecting the environment and consuming local produce, often bio products.

We went here for dinner. With a large family group. We were excited to be at a restaurant where the food is all organically grown on site or gotten from local fishermen and the chef picks the 3 course menu for you based on what is fresh. The staff treated us like family and service was great! We were brought a combination of soups appetizers, then fish (sesame crusted tuna with fresh peaches was my favorite) and seafood and finished off the meal with some yummy homemade desserts. The rustic atmosphere and wonderful wines made this a night to remember for all. My only regret was not having enough time to take pictures of the food because everyone devoured them before I got the chance!

Maravilloso alojamiento rural, con mucho encanto... Admite mascotas, las tratan muy bien. A los huéspedes también, y muy atent@s, es un lugar especial. Las casitas o bungalows están muy bien equipados, no les falta detalle, además tiene una piscina preciosa, se respira paz y tranquilidad recomendado 100%

Bellissimo agriturismo, cibo ottimo possibilità di affittare delle casette molto carine. Tutto in mezzo alla natura portoghese e a qualche minuto dalla spiaggia

Heerlijke plek tussen de vijgenbomen, kruidenplanten, bloemen en boerderij dieren! Het eten was fenomenaal, mensen super lief en een top zwembad met uitzicht over de Portugese landerijen. Huisjes zijn van alle gemakken voorzien en goed opgezet voor een langer verblijf. Het strand is op 3 minuten rijden en vele uitwijkmogelijkheden naar andere plaatsen. Zo ben je ook in 15 minuten in Spanje (Ayamonte). Een plek waar je heel goed met je kleine kinderen heen kan gaan. Die vermaken zich met de kippen, eenden, varkens en poezen. Ook is er een speelhuisje met schommel. Deze locatie is niet voor de 5 sterren hotelgast die in luxe wil verblijven, maar wel een topplek voor diegene die een hele fijne vakantie op een relaxte plek wenst en van lekker gezond eten houdt.

Quinta familiar, com muito passado, muita historia. Acordada, e decorada primorosamente, pela Rosa, pessoa a quem a quinta agradece o seu "Toque de Midas". Dos melhores produtos produzidos na quinta, ate ao sal produzido pela Rosa nas suas Salinas. O restaurante existente, oferece dos melhores pratos regionais. Local excelente para " viver" umas ferias. Visitar , ficar e revisitar. Parabens.

Não sei bem como classificar está experiência. O maior negócio da quinta E tratar da própria quinta das árvores de Figo , depois aluga uns quartos . São bastante simpáticos mas creio que estão focados mais nas outras tarefas que a de alojamento. Piscina boa , mas tivemos umas situações caricatas , como estarmos na piscina e de repente algumas pessoas que lá estavam a troco de ajudar na quinta entrarem todos vestidos na piscina , com as roupas sujas de estarem a trabalhar no campo ... outro tema e de facto d haver galinhas, patos, gatos e caos na quinta estes têm acesso total a quinta e todas as manhãs bastante cedo começavam as procissões dos galos ... mais de 5 e todos a cantarem a horas diferentes , nunca ficamos na cama até tarde ... Os quartos , casas não são o mais moderno nem o mais limpo . E uma coisa mais descontraída. Muitos mosquitos , era impossível estar fora no alpendre a noite , éramos atacados , estivemos em Junho . Localização e boa perto da praia e dos vilas ao pé . Cozinhamos umas vezes , mas acabei por desistir já que não queria jantar na cozinha e e era pequena e senti falta de algumas coisas . A nossa casa tinha máquina nespresso que foi óptimo , torradeira e maquina de sumo . Óptimo para pequeno almoço . Eles aceitam reservas para Pao. Mas nos iamos a padaria 125 que fica perto e ter óptimo pão .
