Hotel dell'omonima catena di lusso che mantiene fede alla sua fama con stanze spaziose e luminose, ben pulite e accessoriate, una hall luminosa ed elegante, boutique di lusso, Spa, piscina e un rooftop tra i più belli di Lisbona con vista a 270° della città. Tenho muita vontade de me hospedar e descobrir o motivo de muitos famosos se hospedarem; reza a lenda que a diária é mais de 400 euros, não sei se procede a informação mas, se sim, já não da para mim, eu não curti muito o designer exterior do prédio, não me remete a sensação de poder diferenciar se é uma arquitetura moderna ou antiga, no mais, não darei 5 estrelas pois, ainda não vi o interior e não sei como é todo o serviço que eles têm a oferecer!

The hotel was part of a Viking Cruise package. We arrived before rooms would normally be ready and asked for a room as soon as possible. The hotel staff person handling room assignments on May 25th couldn't have cared less. We were the last people in the lobby to get a room and had to track her down for that. She claimed she couldn't find us even though we never left the lobby. The room was smaller than the one we had on the ship and some of the plugs did not function. The hotel advertising a rooftop bar but good luck getting a seat. It is tiny and fills up quickly with people who hang around for the view. One other issue that is not the hotel's fault. While there is one good restaurant nearby because it is located in a high dollar shopping district restaurant selections appeared limited. Our second hotel in Lisbon following the cruise is much nicer and has great local restaurants within a few feet of the entrance. I have addressed my concerns with Viking since they put hundreds of people into this hotel.

Good service, etc but looks like it is due a bit of modernisation and refit to justify 5* rating. Location is OK but, because Lisbon is hilly, it is a bit too far from the city centre.

Nice luxurious hotel (lobby), room was large, clean, but view to the interior court was miserable. And very noisy. To be fair, I was on the 8th floor, just beneath the Seen restaurant which is both very enjoyable and very good (flavour of dishes was amazing). Enjoyed the whole experience though

I meet with some friends here who were residents of the hotel for a drink and a catch up as my wife and I were staying elsewhere.
The contact with the staff was first class and one day we may book with this very nice hotel.

The hotel was lovely and within walking distance of some major sightseeing areas. Our room was very comfortable and a value for the price. Perhaps it’s the language barrier but I found many of the staff to be less than helpful yet others extremely attentive.

The reception, check-in, porter and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception staff printed some business documents for me the next morning without any hassle. The bedroom was bright and clean. The pool was also nice for an evening drink and somewhere to cool down. Overall, a great stay!

Leider hat das Hotel nur eine Privatsauna, also nur für eine Person. Zu benutzen nur wenn man eine Anwendung bucht, sonst besetzt.Die Dachterasse ist schön, aber der Gin-Tonic ist zum Vergessen, extrem teuer und geschmacklos.Frühstück auch sehr teuer

Beautiful hotel. Comfy rooms but street music can continue till early morning hours. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Restaurant & its staff was fantastic; breakfast buffet was amazing, dinner was equally great with nice selection of appetizers, entrees, & dessert (try apple pie/galette with cinnamon ice cream, yum).

Clean room with all amenities that you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Hotel staff were courteous and certainly helpful during our stay. Cafe staff also remembered the drink I prefer in the morning. Kudos for that. Meeting facilities were adequate. They have a big and modern gym.

I stayed there in 1965 with my mother and one of my sisters. I was 21. We had a 2-bedroom suite for $15/day with a huge pink marble bathroom with heated towel bars and a separate enclosure for the toilet. The food in the restaurant was incredible, especially the creme caramel.

安定感のあるホテルでさすが5つ星という感じ。
ホテルクラークの対応は普通にスムーズで、部屋までの誘導も荷物も問題なく進みました。
ウェルカムドリンクのようなおもてなしはありませんでした。
部屋も清潔感があり、フライト疲れもあってか、ベッドに入ると即寝でした。
1つだけお部屋について言えることごあるとすれば、バスタブがないことでした。シャワーだけで充分といえば充分なのですが。
朝食もついていて、メニューは豊富でどれもおいしいものばかりでした。
巣ごと提供している生ハチミツがあったのは驚きました。
あとここの良い点は立地です。
徒歩圏内でも、Uber5-10ユーロ圏内で相当な観光スポットは回れます。
空港からも10ユーロくらいですし。
リスボンを拠点とした出張や観光にはかなり良い場所だと思います。

Two night stay as part of Viking Duro cruise. Clean comfortable bed and rooms, good soundproofing, we overlooked the inner atrium. Sky bar whilst open was undergoing refurbishment. Pleasant helpful staff, regularly replenished toiletries. Ate in the buffet for breakfast excellent selection.

Desk staff very helpful and recommendations very good. Had a problem the first night and spoke to Tania the duty manager. Treated with the utmost respect and she sorted out a beautiful quiet room for us the second night. The breakfasts are amazing and the staff very attentive. At close distance from all tourist areas, situated downtown near the subway, along a main street, this hotel is a welcoming place with good staff. Rooms are not big, the bathrooms instead are big enough. Incredible choice of food at breakfast. There is a bar on the roof. Highly recommended.

Typical classy local hotel in a pretty area, near pedestrian zones. The avenue outside looks like Vienna or Mexico City. Staff is very professional and multilingual (of course). Overpriced but chic bar in the front, or have drinks brought to you in the lobby. Restrooms are clean and well appointed.

Beautiful physically. However, check-in counter was understaffed and it took about 20 minutes to check in. Also, the concierge committed to make a number of reservations for us, and all were either forgotten completely or needed follow-up. The last straw was that there was a rock concert in the roof bar that was so loud in our room that it was impossible to sleep. Endured until after midnight. All-in-all, not what one would expect from a high-end jotel.

As much as we wanted to like the Hotel Tivoli Avenida, for the price and the prestige it just didn't meet expectations. Our room had great high ceilings, and the staff was pleasant, but there were too many oddities like the fact that they didn't even include water with our room, despite it costing over $300/night.
The layout of the room was also very bizarre, such as the inability to watch TV from the bed. There also aren't many rooms that actually had a nice view of the Avenue, ours did not.
The thing that really drove me up the wall was that they included a Nespresso machine, and then wanted to charge $3 for a Nespresso pod; this is outrageous for a 4 or 5 star hotel, and to make matters worse, they had the machine hooked up to a light switch that took us over an hour to find. I've never in my life been to a hotel that charged for Nespresso.
We will never stay here again, there are far too many other hotels around. Unfortunately we did not get to try the restaurant either, as we were sick from the food on our flight. Overall disappointing.

Dica vai para quem estiver indo para Lisboa, mais exatamente ali na localidade da Avenida Liberdade... Que além do @hardrockcafelisboa ( que é muito bacana e 0800 a entrada) subindo um pouquinho a Avenida tem outro Point muito bacana que começa bem cedo ( abre às 17h termina às 02:00) e é tipo um Happy hour chique na cobertura do @tivolihotels não existe cobrança de ingresso e o traje é esporte fino, servem vários drinks super elaborados, cerveja e chopp gelados sempre ao som de DJs de Deep House e Lounge Music...
Somando tudo a uma vista deslumbrante do por do sol de Lisboa

Lisboa está cheia de novos hotéis, mas o clássico nunca sai de moda. O @tivoliavenidaliberdade, membro do @leadinghotelsoftheworld, está localizado no coração da privilegiada Avenida da Liberdade. No tengo más que agradecimiento para la estancia que hemos tenido en el hotel.
Desde el momento de la entrada puedes darte cuenta de la experiencia que vas a vivir.
El hotel lo reservé por medio de American Express FHR y al momento del “check in” (te hacen sentir especial), ya nos esperaban con los brazos abiertos para explicarnos los beneficios, instalaciones y servicio pero sobre todo para otorgarnos un ascenso de habitación.
El hotel está perfectamente situado en Avenida Liberdade, en 10 minutos caminando llegas al centro de la ciudad y ahí tienes todo al alcance de unos minutos más.
El desayuno fabuloso, en estos 15 días por Europa ha sido el mejor que hemos tenido.
La habitación muy comoda, las amenidades de primera calidas, el gimnasio excelente, el colchón delicioso, el baño súper amplio.
Mención aparte merece la atención de Nelson el gerente de atención al cliente. Un tipazo.

Tivioli's Breakfast experience:
I had the pleasure to enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Tivoli. There are many options for all taste buds. Personally, I am vegan and completely satisfied with the choices for me. The hall itself is grand and open, creating a comfortable ambiance. The decor is also modern and wonderful, quite fancy.
Now to my favorite part.
The staff = The human connection.
Host: João H. -
Every single morning I saw João H., he greeted me by my first name, pulls the chair out for me and asks me genuinely how I am doing. He looks me straight into the eyes, cares about my first drink and does his very best to make the connection, ultimately leaving a lasting positive experience.
Server: Túlio -
After walking over to my table, bringing over my first plate from the hot choices, I was warmly welcomed by Túlio. He introduced himself and asked me for my name as well. We chatted about the day thus far and made each others acquaintance a pleasant one. The following day, I decided to enjoy breakfast again and Túlio greeted me and kindly asked me if I was interested in the same drink options as yesterday, ending his sentence with name. How can he possibly remember? I know the answer, because he cares. This is the difference.
Tivoli's breakfast is delicious, grand and wonderful.
What I find to be extraordinary are the people who took their time to smile like João, Túlio and Joseanne. They make the effort to say "Bom dia", "Bom appetitte", "Fica a vontade".
I return there because of them and how they truly care.

The gym area is ideal for my needs. There are over 10 exercise machines, 4 treadmills and many free weights, as well as mats to do other activities. It is very clean and organized. Water, cold towels, apples, baby wipes and a very clean bathroom with showers to use. Equipped with everything I possibly could need or want.
As I said about the service for their breakfast, I must say the same for their Spa & Gym personnel.
Barbara is the perfect combination of joyful, informative and professional. She exudes warmth and radiates kindness. She is attentive and aware of what I was inquiring and executed on all my questions with excellence. Knowing I will run into her at the gym makes my workout session start off with a high beat. Her colleagues are also friendly and informed. I find the staff in general always ready to help.
I hope this review helps these individuals get the recognition they deserve. They do their jobs with passion, awareness and true professionalism. They a true asset to the Tivoli team. I will return to Tivoli, because of these caring individuals.

Our family had a lovely stay at Tivoli during our summer vacation in august 2018. The adjoining rooms worked well for our family of 4. Kids had their space and adults had their space. Concierge was outstanding - making arrangements for tours that were kid-friendly and suggesting restaurants that were accommodating to young children. Wonderful lobby and fantastic location on Avenida Liberdade - so many things were walking distance from the hotel on the gorgeous Avenida Liberdade. Thank you for a memorable stay. out youngest son turns 7 while there and the concierge filled his room with balloons, a cake and some festive drinks!

Very nice hotel located in a beautiful part of Lisbon close to all the designer shops. Grand entrance, high end service, good food and prompt friendly service. We did have to queue up upon arrival to check in and I had to queue up to ask a question. They should in my opinion have an extra person that can come out and accommodate people standing in a queue in this otherwise amazing hotel. Also, not sure why Seen restaurant doesn’t allow children under 12 in, whereas most other restaurants in Lisbon do. Don’t love the smell of the Tivoli pillows. Encountered the same in another Tivoli. Not sure if they ever change them. Would definitely go back to this hotel but would really like to not have to queue up at reception.

Dissappointed with the rooms. As you enter the hotel you get a sense that the hotel has been recently renovated and gives you a false sense that the rooms will be the same standard as the giant lobby. Sadly the renovated rooms have been done on a budget and the attention to detail and general finishing (e.g. light fittings) is sub-par. There are many better hotels nearby and this hotel needs to realise this in order to compete; especially at their particular price point.

Нас было 3 человека и он предложил нам сесть отдельно. Вместо того, чтобы принести дополнительный стол или сесть в другом зале, он предложил нам сесть вдвоём, а третьему сесть отдельно! Very nice well maintained hotel. We didn't have the greatest experience...
After checking in we had to immediately change rooms because our room wasn't available for our full three day stay. The second room was great except we couldn't turn the heat off! Finally at midnight we gave up and they changed our room. The hotel was very accommodating.
Unfortunately the next room developed a loud noise in the air conditioning that was intermittent at first. The last night it rarely stopped. The noise was very similar to my alarm!
The breakfast was great. The rooftop restaurant was excellent. I had a great grilled grouper. The lobby bar was also great and convenient.
We had one of the best massages I have had and the facility was wonderful!

Everything was great. We had one small issue when the hotel made a reservation for us at a restaurant they recommended. But they failed to tell us it was cash only. My husband had to leave the restaurant and find a machine that accepted our card. The card was eaten and therefore we had to go back to the hotel and my husband got the cash we had brought with us and returned to the restaurant to pay. Its not the fault of the hotel that the bank card was eaten but had we known we had to pay cash we would have initially taken that with us. We were only 3 days into a 25day trip to Europe. Thank goodness I had my card with me and we were able to use it the remainder of the trip. The only other very small thing was that at our buffet breakfast there was no champagne. We have stayed in many hotels with the standards of the Tivoli (our last few days in Vienna was as nice or just above) and every morning I enjoy a champagne or Mimosa with my breakfast. Again, a very small thing. It did not affect my trip at all. The location was great. About 25mins to the water and 10mins to the pedestrian road. This is a very nice hotel and we highly recommend it! We would stay there again.

The rooms were very nice. The food was excellently. The service was incredible. My big complaint is we had someone above us that must have been jumping up and down for a very long time. We called front desk and they said they would get back to us and never did. It interrupted my sleep greatly. Had that not occurred or hotel stopped, I would have given 5 stars.

Very nice hotel in upscale district. Staff are very freindly & professional. From the doormen thru the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone seems eager to please. We also visited the Sky Bar with has an excellent view and a vibrant scene. Our gin & tonics were prepared perfect. As were our fish taco & lamb croquettes. Geonsolo was a great & attentive server...moving us to a table with a better view and good with recommendations. We enjoyed our time at Tivoli Hotel.

Je déconseille fortement aux personnes voyageant avec des enfants de séjourner dans cette hôtel. Nous sommes un couple avec deux enfants de 13 et 9 ans. Nous avons réservé une chambre familiale pour 3 adultes et un enfant car l’enfant de plus de 12 ans est considéré comme adulte. La réception dont le personnel est très amiable nous a surclassé en suite exécutive plus grande que la familiale. Mais petit hic... La suite était tellement petite que seul un lit supplémentaire pouvait être mis en place en plus du lit double alors que nous étions 4... Le personnel constatant le problème nous a placé dans une autre chambre où nous avons un lit portefeuille, un canapé lit et le lit double dans la même pièce... la moquette est sale et tachée, le plafond de la salle de bain fissuré, les stores sont sales et déchirés, l’insonorisation est mauvaise (couloir, clim et bruits de l’extérieur), les meubles sont épaufrés, etc...
La chambre est quotidiennement préparée pour 3 adultes uniquement, l’enfant n’étant pas considéré (bouteilles d’eau pour 3, produits et serviettes de toilette pour 3 uniquement etc.)
La cerise sur le gâteau est que les enfants sont interdits au 9eme étage aussi bien dans le restaurant « Olivier » que dans le bar « Seen » où nous avons été refoulés alors que des adultes en short et tong le soir y étaient acceptés...
Nous séjournions quelques jours, chaque année au mois d’août, dans cet hôtel et auparavant les enfants encore plus jeunes étaient parfaitement acceptés. La politique de l’hotel a changé mais ne le précise ni sur son site ni ailleurs. C’est regrettable compte tenu notamment de la catégorie et du prix par nuit de l’hôtel.
Nous ne reviendrons plus...

Big disappointment. This can't be 5 stars hotel. Maintenance level is too bad. Room bathroom door locks are are broken and that is the case in 2 rooms. Floor corridors are smelly. House keeping are of low standard. Front desk at check-in was super slow, it took almost an hour to check-in.

We stayed here for a night before a Viking cruise. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are very kind. We loved the location as we could walk just about everywhere. There are loads of great restaurants nearby, and plenty of sightseeing as well. I would stay here again if in Lisbon, and would recommend to friends or family.

The location is perfect but the rooms were not at all 5 star. They were nice but nothing at all as I had expected for a “leading hotel of the world”! Housekeeping was always very late in the day and forgot to replenish water, coffee etc. Their attention to detail was lacking.
Additionally, be aware that their pool is actually offsite! It’s not on the grounds of the actual hotel.

My stay here was a uniformly wonderful experience, from the spacious and finely decorated lobby, to the views of Lisbon from the Sky Bar, to the comfortable room with a moderne bathroom featuring a magnificent shower. The thermostat was precise and easy to operate.
Breakfast was a daily delight, with freshly baked bread and rolls at each table and an impressive collation of fruit, meats, and warm entrees. The tomatoes were of notable quality and very well prepared, topped with a bit of finely minced garlic and broiled.
Hotel staff was friendly and professional, even when problems arose, and largely English proficient, as is much of Lisbon. It is a model of contemporary urban hospitality.
The hotel is a very short walk to the clean, efficient Metro system. The trip from the airport on the Metro was only €1.40. Avenida Liberdade is itself a grand boulevard to walk at any time of day or night, even in late winter.

We visited herr twice on our trip to Portugal. the first time was really good, the staff were attentive and the service was really quick! however when we returned we waited a long time to be served and then our drinks were left waiting on the bar to be served for a long time. We were compensated, however. The ambiance is really good, a DJ plays, great views of the City and an extensive cocktail menu served with salty snacks.

Very nice hotel. Unfortunately they decided to do something to the water system overnight and we had no hot water for the morning hope it OK for later.

Rooms nice size for being city centre, with good staff and great location. Quite a few cruises leave/meet at this hotel, so don't be surprised if you see cruise related staff about.

Es un hotel ubicado en una de las calles más amplias y prestigiosas de Lisboa. El hotel tiene todos los servicios que esperas en un cinco estrellas. Muy limpio, las habitaciones amplias, buena oferta gastronómica y excelente vista a la ciudad desde la terraza-bar en la última planta. Tiene cerca restaurantes, tiendas y transporte público. Muy buen precio.

Excelente localização!! Se tiver disposição para caminhadas poderá visitar vários pontos a pé, como a Igreja S. Domingos, praça da Figueira, Museu Nacional de História Natural....
Sem contar que a avenida em que o hotel está localizado é linda e cheia de lojas para visitar.
Ah, o cafe da manhã é delicioso.
Minha estadia foi muito boa, recomendo e voltarei!!

Excelente Hotel, boa localização, serviço simpático e prestável, quartos limpos e agradáveis e uma zona de lazer ( piscina e Sauna ) muito agradável. Continuem assim por favor.

Beautiful hotel, great staff. The food is variable. They have great conference rooms with everything you mght need. The spa is also good.

Gorgeous modern hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Top restaurants both at street level and at the top floor. The staff whom I had the pleasure of sharing my time with were top-notch.
