Confortevole e tranquillo, ben posizionato su di una altura della città

Ho alloggiato in questo hotel dal 15 al 18 dicembre 2018. Che dire.. ottima posizione, vicinissima al centro, ottima pulizia, camere complete di tutto. Colazione internazionale, con scelta discreta , compresa di prodotti locali. Il personale più che disponibile, cordiale ed attento. All'arrivo con la mappa mi hanno indicato i punti focus da vedere a Lisbona, i mezzi con cui raggiungerli e cosa non perdermi nonostante i pochi giorni a disposizione. Se mai dovessi tornarci so già dove alloggiare! Consigliatissimo

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo dal 12 al 16 marzo 2019. Un gruppo di 15 donne ha preso d'assalto questo Hotel. Dire che ci siamo trovate benissimo è dir poco. Hotel in posizione centrale, in 5 min si raggiunge piazza Rossio. Camere pulitissime così come tutto il resto. La colazione non esagerata ma non mancava nulla. E che dire dello staff....di una disponibilità incredibile....ci hanno esaudito ogni richiesta. Lo consiglio vivamente e se ritorno a Lisbona....so già dove prenotare.

There is no free parking for the hotel as it suggests in the property highlights, only on the street and its free on the weekends - This was quite a big struggle for us for the week. The accomodation, the staff and the service was great.

Everything was clean. There was a fridge in the room. Breakfast buffet was nice (and also nice and quiet early in the morning). Staff was very friendly.

Fué genial mi estancia en éste hotel. Al llegar, me recibieron dos recepcionistas que me trataron muy bien durante toda mi estancia y me facilitaron toda la información turística de Lisboa. El hotel esta muy bien ubicado. Eso sí, como veréis Lisboa, la mayoría de sus calles son subidas o bajadas, así que si vais andando desde la boca de metro mas cercana(Avenida) tendréis que subir una pequeña cuesta. A unos 10-15min a pie llegaréis al centro, a 5min está la boca de metro(Avenida), y hay bastantes restaurantes cerca. La habitación que me tocó me gustó mucho. Tenía todas las herramientas básicas, la cama cómoda, aire acondicionado y todo estaba bastante limpio. El desayuno estaba todo muy bueno y había bastante variedad. Relación calidad/precio equilibrado. Lo recomiendo!

Trip to see Lisbon. Hotel was nice , good service and helpful staff. My only complaint is that the bed is too hard, waking up with a back ache. Please get some better matrices.

Great hotel for a short stay. Attentive and friendly staff. Clean, tidy modern rooms with just enough comfort. Good location for all attractions. Steep hill to climb to get there, so you need to be fit, but thats the same for most locations in Lisbon.

Hôtel vieillissant et mal entretenu. Les chambres sont de taille correcte mais sentent le renfermé. Odeur que l'on tente de masquer à l'aide de forts désagréables désodorisants. La clim aurait besoin d'un nettoyage et la vue sur la courette de 1m2 n'est pas à commenté. La literie n'est pas non plus de prime jeunesse mais c'est le bruit de l'alese plastifiée qui est le plus dérangeant. La chambre est néanmoins propre.

Me and my partner stayed for 4 nights/3-4 days. Nicely located close to Bairro Alto district (great restaurants and bars to say the least) and next to one of several viewpoints/miradouros to take in the panoramic city views.5mins from the nearest metro station if you want to venture further out but we found good walking shoes and water was sufficient to explore the inner city districts - hit and miss but keep a lookout for free water fountains in rational places. 10mins to Rossio train station to go to Sintra. 10-15mins from main squares and tram stops taking you to Belem.The hotel is clean and basic, rooms arent massively equipped but we only spent time in there to sleep/shower. Relatively quiet, very helpful hotel staff and easy to drive to. Parking spots right outside can be reserved for you if you give the hotel notice.

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Appena entrati in camera abbiamo aperto le tende e c'era una fantastica vista su Lisbona. Letti comodi, televisione, area condizionata e bagno spazioso.quando siamo arrivati il signore dell' albergo ci ha fatto usufruire di succo ed arachidi.La stanza ha un buon profumo.L' unico difetto è l' ascensore poco spaziosa ma è una cosa che conta poco. Davvero un' ottima scelta credetemi!

Ideal si solo vas a ir a dormir, la zona encantadora, ascensor excesivamente estrecho y escaleras con peldaños no aptos para quien tiene más de un 35. El personal de recepción muy bien excepto un joven desagradable y malhumorado que está ocupando un puesto de trabajo para el que no es válido.

Muy bueno, pero no entiendo por que tan pocos enchufes en las habitaciones.

La ubicación es buena, la habitación es muy antigua. La sensación que te da la foto antes de reservar poco tiene que ver con la realidad. Los rodillos de la puerta del armario y de la ducha necesitan cambio urgente porque echas más brazo intentando abirlas que en una semana de gimnasio. Cada vez que abrí la puerta de la habitación parecía que se ha caído el techo del baño...una cosa rara. La habitación es amplia, tiene minibar y un buen secador de pelo. El desayuno es básico pero suficiente para empezar el día.

Ich kann nichts negatives über das Hotel Botanico berichten. Das Mittelklassehotel hat gepflegte Zimmer, ein sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet (im Halb-Souterrain) und die Lage ist auch gut. Leider kaum Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel für Gäste mit Auto. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

The helpful staff here made all the difference for me . Held our baggage the day we checked out so we could spend the day around the city enjoying the views and visiting the Cathedral , and were more than helpful with any other requests we had . Good location for getting out to walk down to the ocean front and all the restaraunts . The rooms were clean with air/con and it was quiet at nightime for sleeping . Thank you for a great visit .

Excelente ubicacion, el hotel es muy acogedor y comodo, super limpio, los empleados del hotel muy amables y atentos. Pero lo mejor es el desayuno, es para reyes, espectacular. El taxi te deja en la puerta y afuera hay parqueo gratis, es facil ir caminando de un lugar a otro, hay tiendas, restaurantes y una vista maravillosa. Se los recomiendo.

Stayed at this hotel for a week in December 2017...The hotel was basic but clean and breakfast was surprisingly good for the room rate....But I would like to make a special mention of Mr.Elder who was the front office Manager, He was genuinely warm, helpful and courteous..a real asset to the Hotel.

Bom para ficar no centro de Lisboa

A small hotel on 5 floors with two lifts. The staff are very helpful, the self-service breakfast has the usual wide range of options and is very good value at €7. The room (34) was comfortable, clean, warm and with a nice shower. If you dont mind it being up a short hill then it is a good choice for a short stay in Lisbon. The closest Metro station is Avenida.

Friendly STAFF ,older gentleman explained places of interest along with showing us how to get there by public transportation.Breakfast was enjoyable,attendant showed pride in her job,making sure food was plentiful and fully stocked. Nice touch with complimentary Port,water and juice when checking in! Room was small But, very clean and affordable. My concern was the smoking by night STAFF member and his friend or co worker in the doorway of the entrance. The ashtray should be away from the entrance for non smokers such as myself and friend,it was annoying and rude to walk between both men smelling of smoke.YUCK! Recommend if you are a smoker ...location..thumbs up..centrally located to all shopping and restaurants.Thank you for reading..

Very friendly staff. They recommended really nice places to eat, helped in finding transportation to other towns. Breakfasts were very varied, so far the best of all the hotels we visited in Portugal. Rooms were well furnished, clean, with everyday room service. Location was quite good, around 15 minutes walking from city center. I recommend this place.

Tres horas tuve reservado el hotel porque tuve un accidente en la mano y no pudimos ir. Tres días que teníamos reservados mi pareja y yo, y NO nos reembolsaron el dinero. No me he sentido tan mal en mi vida. Que sensación me dejaron cuando con voz seca al teléfono me contestaron NO y punto. Les expliqué que teníamos informes del hospital y todo pero ni caso. Teníamos una ilusión tremenda puesta en el viaje y no sólo nos hemos quedado sin ir, sino que además he perdido todo el dinero, así de manera gratuita. Dinero regalado. Yo no me dedico a reservar e ir vigilando los precios para coger lo que más me convenga, ha sido por un accidente y un problema médico! Muchísimas gracias por arruinarme las navidades.

El Hotel Botánico está en una extensión del Barrio Alto, casi al lado del Jardín Botánico, en la calle Rua Mãe D´agua nº 16-20 Hay que subir una pequeña cuesta desde la estación del Metro que se hace pesada cuando vas arrastrando la maleta porque las aceras para viandantes están hechas a base de mosaicos de pequeños fragmentos de baldosas, con lo que las ruedas de las maletas sufren mucho. Aparte de que las aceras son bastante estrechas en estos barrios antiguos. Su amable recepcionista nos atendió con un zumo frutas con hielo porque hacia bastante calor, más si cabe con la cuesta arriba. Hablaba bastante bien español e inglés, y nos dijo que esperásemos unos minutos porque todavía no estaba preparada la habitación por lo que nos sentamos en los verdes sofás mientras nos refrescábamos con la bebida. Como es un hotel pequeño todo resultaba pequeño, la recepción y el salón recibidor pero lo que no esperábamos eran unos ascensores tan estrechos que sólo cabían dos personas con su maletas puestos en fila. Era algo claustrofóbico pero para llegar a la habitación 26 del segundo piso llegaba rápido, aunque algunos clientes preferían usar las escaleras porque era más cómodo y ágil. En contraste, la habitación ha resultado amplia aunque yo dormí en la cama mueble dispuesta para la ocasión, donde en el cabecero aún se veían las ruedas para su movilidad, y que tapé por la noche con una manta para no darme un golpe o un arañazo. La ventana daba a una calle lateral donde se oía por la noche el camión de la basura, y las obras de un edificio enfrente por el día, pero aun así hemos dormido con la ventana un poco abierta para que se ventilase y desconectar el aire acondicionado. Nos hemos encontrado otra vez con la puerta del baño de cristal translúcido, como en el Hotel Regio de Cádiz, para iluminar la habitación de noche si alguien va al servicio. ¿Será una moda o es que están de oferta este tipo de puertas? ¿Quizá las puertas de madera se hinchan con la humedad de la ducha? Pues no lo he visto nunca en un hotel, y en casa también es raro que suceda. Lo que sí me gustó del baño es que la bañera era grande y que tenía cortina no mampara de cristal, aunque los hermanos dijeron que la mampara es más fácil de limpiar, pero una buena cortina de tela acrílica no absorbe el agua y se seca pronto. También me gustó mucho el secador de pelo porque tenía mucha potencia para secarte el pelo en poco tiempo, no como en otros hoteles donde el secador no tiene potencia ni para apagar una vela. En cuanto al desayuno, ha sido ligerito y normal, sin grandes novedades. Lo que si me gustó fue que todas las mesas tenían mantel, de color verde que es el color de la casa, pero sobre este mantel tenían un cristal que lo protegía, y además ofrecían la posibilidad de coger una bandeja para depositar los platos donde traíamos los alimentos del buffet libre. De esta manera es más fácil limpiar las mesas y se ahorra en mantelería. Es la primera vez que lo veo en un hotel. Es una muy buena idea. Si hablamos del precio creo que es un poco caro 140 € por una habitación triple en un hotel de tres estrellas, pero la localización céntrica hace que el precio suba. Si hay una buena oferta aprovechadla. El simpático recepcionista nos dijo que nos hablaría sobre todas las maravillas de la ciudad pero le dijimos que íbamos a ir a Belém por la tarde cogiendo el Metro en Avenida hasta en Cais do Sodré, y desde allí en tranvía o autobús hasta Belém. Su asombro fue mayúsculo, y nos aclaró que fuésemos andando hasta la Plaza de Figueira para coger el autobús o el tranvía que nos llevaría directos. Eso hicimos.

Hotel is super schoon en helemaal ok. Mooie grote schone kamer en badkamer. Goed ontbijt, vriendelijke bediening. Centrum vlakbij. Veel goede restaurantjes vlakbij. Er zijn 6 gratis parkeerplaatsen. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location. Bath towels a bit on the thin side and no access to English TV channels, but otherwise perfectly adequate for a budget hotel.

Dies ist ein ganz normales Standardhotel. Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren, aber auch nichts außergewöhnliches hervorzuheben. Frühstück ist etwas reichhaltiger, als in Hotels vergleichbarer Kategorien. Das Hotel liegt etwas am Berg oben, so dass es mit schweren Koffern eher schlecht zu Fuß von der U-Bahn-Station Avenida erreicht werden kann. Mit Rucksack ist man aber spätestens in 10 Minuten oben.

Ideales Hotel für ein verlängertes Wochenende; Altstadt (Zentrum) jedoch ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten zu Fuss; dafür sehr ruhige Lage, Schlafen mit offenem Fenster problemlos möglich; Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Empfehlenswert!

Zentral gelegen, gut für einen Städtetrip geeignet. Sehr netter Service. Zimmer mit ordentlicher, einfacher Ausstattung.

Hice la reserva por internet con una semana de antelación, pagando por adelantado y dejándoles email y teléfono de contacto. Cuando Llegue, sobre las 11 de la noche después de 6 horas e viaje, el recepcionista me dice que tiene "overbooking" y que me ha buscado otro hotel,, que cuando me despierte al día siguiente, les deje las maletas en consigna y ocupe por la noche la habitación que tenía reservada y pagada. Cuando insisto en hablar con la dirección el hotel me dicen que no hace falta, porque se ha tratado de un error. Esto me hace sospechar que los empleados del hotel se dedican a espalas de la empresa a alquilar a otros las habitaciones del hotel ya reservadas que, llegada determinada hora, creen que no se van a ocupar para obtener un sobresueldo. El wifi es muy lento, se corta continuamente la señal y tienen cámaras de video vigilancia en los pasillos pero no tienen los carteles avisando de su presencia. Pienso denunciarlos a consumo.

Eine gute Wahl zu einem fairen Preis. Wer zentral mitten in Lissabons Herzen wohnen möchte, macht hier nichts falsch. Die Zimmer sind sehr ordentlich und sauber, wenn auch nicht allzu groß. Bitte aber auch mit Verkehrslärm rechnen (mitten im Zentrum).

Sehr bequem gelegenes Hotel in der Stadtmitte, vom obersten Stockwerk mit Aussicht über die Stadt. Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal. Kleine Zimmer aber picobello sauber! Bis zum Rossio sind es nur 10 Gehminuten, somit idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Stadt-Erkundung.

Lhôtel Botanico est bien situé si vous voulez vous promener dans le centre historique de Lisbonne. À quelques pas de grand boulevard Liberdad, dans une rue tranquille, nos nuits étaient paisibles. Des bons lits, une propreté irréprochable, bien situé, abordable, que demander de plus? Le personnel de lhôtel est plus que serviable et deux dentre eux parlaient français. On y a passé 12 jours. On a même découvert sur notre petite rue trois excellents restos (un portugais, un indien et un végétarien) où on a soupé les soirs où on ne souhaitait pas revenir vers le centre de laction. Sans parler du petit café où on a pris le petit-déj, presque tous les jours, se mêlant ainsi au quotidien de Liboetes.

Welcome glass of Port wine revived me. English-speaking hotel attendances were quite friendly, and gave us advices on restaurant fitting to our preference. It was a pleasant walking from the hotel to the Cais on the ridge of the hill (less than an hour), and back through the Avenida.

Die Zimmer und deren Ausstattung könnte gut eine Modernisierung vertragen. Abgesehen davon war es sauber und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz zentraler Lage des Hotels war es sehr ruhig. Lage und Preis haben für mich als Kurzurlauber/Nachtschwärmer das Hotel zu einer sehr guten Wahl gemacht.

Un hotel céntrico, pequeño y por fuera puede que algo feo, sin embargo, en su interior te encontrarás algo muy parecido a un hogar por la gran atención, dedicación y amabilidad que recibes desde el minuto 1 al entrar en su puerta. Además de eso tiene unos precios estupendos y muy cerca de lo más interesante de Lisboa y el downtown y la habitación, pese a su reducido precio está muy bien equipada, espaciosa, cómoda y bien silenciada. Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig zwei Seitenstraßen von der Av. da Liberdade entfernt (ca. 5 Min zu Fuß von der Metro Station Avenida). Ebf. ca. 5 Min zu Fuß zum Jardim do Principe Real und damit zum Bairro Alto-Viertel. Ca. 10 Min zu Fuß zum Rossio, dort jedweder ÖPNV. Vom Flughafen leicht mit der Metro erreichbar über die Rote Linie (linha vermelha) bis Sao Sebestatiao, dort umsteigen in die Blaue Linie (linha azul) Richtung Santa Apolonia bis zur Station Avenida. Dann am Parque Mayer und dem Praca da Alegria vorbei und schon ist man angekommen.Einige Gebäude im Gebiet des Hotels sind in schlechtem Zustand, doch die Gegend insgesamt erscheint nicht unsicher. Das Hotel selbst ist nicht neu. Doch alles ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein aufgrund einer Flugverspätung erst mitten in der Nacht erfolgter Check-Inn verlief reibungslos.Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt.

We were very welcomed by Mr. Antonio, who loves to explain about the city and help you to explore it. By the way, as a welcoming drink, you can have a glass of Porto wine. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from the subway and 10 minutes walking from Bairro Alto, what helps a lot, especially if you do not want to spend your Euros with Taxis. The area is not beautiful and you fell in the bohemin suburb, with dirty streets. The room was almost as expected but the fact that the furniture was broken was frustrating. The hotel definitely requires some repairs. At the end, I believe that by the price we wanted to pay, this would be a good option. I could stay there again.

Meine Frau und ich haben insgesamt vier Nächte in Hotel Botanico verbracht. Gemessen an der Hotelkategorie (***) waren wir sehr zufrieden! Wir kennen 5 Sterne-Häuser, gerade in Südeuropa, die kaum besser dafür aber wesentlich teurer waren. Von außen macht es sicherlich nicht den besten Eindruck, aber das täuscht. Super nettes und immer hilfsbereites Personal. Unser Zimmer in der 5.Etage war relativ klein aber sehr sauber. Keine Schimmelflecken im Badezimmer z.B. am Duschvorhang. Das Doppelbett war bequem jedoch relativ schmal (140cm). WLAN ist kostenlos, der Empfang im Zimmer war gut. Wer jedoch deutsches TV braucht wird entäuscht, gibt es nämlich nicht. Moderate Preise für die Minibar. Einziger Kritikpunkt, das Haus ist etwas hellhörig (Aufzuggeräusche in unserem Zimmer).Wir haben jeden Morgen im Hotel gefrühstückt (Negative Kritiken anderer Gäste bezüglich des Frühstücks teilen wir nicht). Gemessen am Preis, 7 Euro pro Person, war das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Das Buffet wurde durchgehend gepflegt.Lissabon hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen, für eine Großstadt ungewöhnlich ruhig und entspannend. Auf die Sehenswürdigkeiten wollen wir nicht groß eingehen, ein Muß ist u.E. das Castelo de S. Jorge, das Oceanário de Lisboa auf dem Expogelände und der Stadtteil Belem. Alles ganz einfach mit dem gut ausgebauten ÖPNV zu erreichen (Tageskarte lohnt sich eigentlich immer).

El personal del hotel es amabilísimo. Hay wifi gratis. Aparcar es imposible porque hay zona azul en todo el centro de Lisboa de 9-1.00 am o de 9-19h (máximo 4,80 euros 4 h. En la estación de RATO hay un parking que vale 11€ al día.En cuanto al hotel, tiene zumo, agua y cacahuetes al llegar.Limpio, no perfectamente nuevo pero agradable.

Extremely rude staff, nothing that I have ever seen before. 2 friends came to visit me at 12 noon after my check in. Not only did the reception not greet them, he came to my room personally and gave me a scolding, demanding that my friends greet him. Was supposed to stay 3 nights but this rude attitude resulted in me canceling the next 2 nights. Check out was a nightmare 2 hours long. To reach the hotel you must climb a steep hill, passing a park with homeless people. This hotel service is horrible, never encountered such a bad experience before and i spent 1 day searching for new accommodations because I felt very threatened by the hotel reception.

Ein sehr nettes kleines, günstiges und in zentraler Lage gelegenes Hotel.Es hat nicht die modernste Einrichtung, aber es ist sehr sauber und für einen Städtetrip absolut ausreichend, wie ich finde.Sicher nicht für Familien geeignet, dafür für alle anderen! :)

On a apprecié sa localisation proche du centre ville et des transports ainsi que de la gare Rossio doù part le train pour Sintra. chambre confortable et silencieuse. Personnel coopératif.

Tried in September 2012. Not impressive at first sight, and even possibly alarming when looking at the tiny stairs and corridors, this B&B hotel - strategically located between Avenida da Libertade and the Bairro Alto and at a 5-min walk from both - proves instead pleasantly good when it comes to correctness and friendliness of the staff (the "welcome drink" - water, juice and some Porto wine - was really appreciated after the walk from the metro in a hot afternoon), cleanliness of rooms and common spaces, size of rooms (all equipped with individual air conditioning and bathrooms worth this name), quality and variety of the breakfast, free wi-fi everywhere and moderate cost. And the sight of Lisbon you will enjoy from rooms 55 and 56 is the last surprise of this hotel. I would certainly come there again.

While not right downtown or on the Avenida, it is close to both, as well as to the Bairro Alto. It is also mere meters away from the excellent Chafariz do Vinho restaurant. While the room was not of great luxury and the hotel breakfast was merely adequate, this was all at an excellent price, and was all fine. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Port wine, which was unfortunately somewhat required to calm my nerves after the stressful maneuvering while parking the car. This wasn't a big problem for us, as we left the rental car there for our entire stay in Lisbon (we walked, used taxis and public transportation with ease from the hotel location), but if you plan on using a car during your stay, I would recommend leaving it down at the nearby Praça da Alegria. I would certainly return there.

I stayed at Botanico Hotel just before Christmas and again a few days after Christmas in three, different rooms, and I really enjoyed my stay and found it to be truly excellent value. The thing that made this hotel stand out for me was really the service. All the staff speak multiple languages with a pretty good command of English, and they were all extremely helpful. My friend saw a few ants where a previous guest mustve left food in the room, so they switched her to another room with no problem and sprayed for the ants. I wanted to take a bath one night, so the man on duty found a stopper and brought it up to my room right away. They called taxis for us whenever needed, gave us directions and maps to wherever we wanted to go, and gave good recommendations. They also sell the Lisboa card that you can use for free metro/trolley/bus transportation and entrance to museums all over Lisbon and a few neighboring villages; its a pretty good value, if you plan on riding around a lot or visiting a lot of sights. However, Lisbon is a very walkable city, if youve got the stamina for it. So my overall recommendation for Botanico Hotel is definitely two thumbs up, especially considering the price, which was between 45 - 50 euros a night for a double - dirt cheap for what you get in my opinion. If I come to Lisbon again, I will definitely stay here.
