Great atmosphere, service and food. The crepe suzette was particularly impressive, being prepared at the table - much fire! As you can tell from the pictures, excellent presentation.

Comimos Escabeche de perdiz como entrada con una atención del chef (Roast beef) y Tagliatelle nero frutos de mar (camarón, vieira y almejas). Una delicia de platos con atención de primera. No puedo darles las cinco estrellas porque ordené Crepes suzette que se encontraban en el menú y no estaban disponibles. Una pena, de seguro son excelentes

Comida muy buena, por el precio me gustaría que la ración de los platos tuvieran mayor porción. Lástima no tenían la posibilidad de preparar la crepe suzette el día que fuí. De resto ambiente agradable y buen atendimiento.

Restaurantesofisticado ,decoração clássica com paredes revestidas em madeira escura e sofás e cadeiras em veludo vermelho. Atendimento cordial, sem exageros e serviço altamente profissional. Janta,
mos excelentes polvo a lagareiro e porco preto com migas, acompanhados de vinhos sugeridos pela somellier; um Dão branco Carvalhais Encruzado para acompanhar o polvo e um tinto que,infelizmente, não recordo o nome.Ambos magníficos. Restrição apenas quanto aos preços, bem acima dos praticados por restaurantes semelhantes em Lisboa.

Great wine. Not as keen on food, seemed overpriced. Attentive staff. Hung around a little more than I'd like. Creme brule was tasty for dessert. Nice decor. Very little space at tables for your legs, I'm not very large!

Very uncomfortable atmosphere. A number of waiters are standing around in close proximity to our table, making us feel like we are being watched all the time. Food were so so, not worth the price.

Este restaurante reabriu ontem apos 11 meses de remodelações. Está muitíssimo melhor que o anterior. Aliás não tem nada a ver com o anterior. Recomendo a visita a este novo espaço para várias e excelentes experiências gastronomicas. Também uma excelente carta de vinhos. Só vindo é que vão entender os meus comentários.

Restaurant gastronomique dans un joli cadre, produits de qualité, service à améliorer pour cette gamme de restaurant :ne pas laisser les clients devoir se resservir de vin ou d'eau. Ne pas discuter entre personnel de services en présence des clients. Sinon je recommande cette adresse avec une carte de vins portugais très complète à des prix raisonnables.

Absolutely amazing place. I was walking around Lisbon and I Stopped there. The waitress has been very nice to me and food was very good, they even gave me some chocolates to bring home and eat the next day. Very recommended experience

SPECIAL WARNING FOR ASIAN CLIENTS: If you want to have a taste of apartheid, this restaurant has a special offer for you. I came to the restaurant for lunch on a normal weekday. The restaurant was semi full. During the middle of my lunch I started to realise that, the part of the restaurant where I was seated, a hidden corner of the restaurant, was filled with Asian clients, and Asian clients only. I was wondering if the restaurant was so popular among the Asians that they seemed to occupy the entire space, or whether the restaurant had a special policy to keep the Asians away from the rest of their clients. When I finished my lunch and walked through the restaurant to get out, I realized that there was a definite separation of clients based on their races. The rest of the restaurant was only with Caucasian clients, while the Asians are strategically hidden in a corner in the back, for a reason unknown to me. This view was surreal. It worked like a time machine that took me to America in the 1950s where the black could not share the bus with the white... I thought of taking some photos so that I could share here, however out of respect for other clients I didn't. But in case if you are indeed interested in modern day apartheid, do visit this restaurant, and find that special corner in the back saved for the some special races.

Restaurant sublime, avec des plats à la carte excellents produits frais et bien préparés. Sauces très originales avec des saveurs qui se marient très bien.
Avec une présentation splendide dans l'assiette.
Prix assez élevés comparés à la moyenne de ce qu'on peut trouver à Lisbonne mais il s'agit de la qualité de restauration de grand chef.
Personnel très agréable et faisant beaucoup d'efforts pour se faire comprendre en français.

This is quite a Lisbon classic in an excellently discrete and central location, which just benefitted from refurbishment by new owners with excellent acoustics and lighting, private rooms and outstanding art!
The menu is traditional, well priced with a superior wine selection and good old-fashioned hands-on service!
The fresh fois gras combines pineapple, the house specialty tartar is mixed at the table and delicious homemade chocolate sweets.
And always make sure to ask the sommelier to surprise you, as she has some gems of wines with great stories.

intrusi .prezzi : 30€ pasta 4€ per 2 bicchieri di acqua 5€ un bicchiere di vino + 6 euro scritti a mano correggendo lo scontrino?! ...non abbiamo toccato ne pane ne patè
non chiesto spiegazioni ma niente mancia a quanto sembra ben gradita....

Very disappointed
We were 3 to dinner. Upon arrival, we were served water and with bread, butter and a pate of liver without anyone asking for anything. The waiter stays in front of us waiting for the order, it was very rude on his part, but behavior can be normal in this restaurant, comle if he pressed us. We order lasagne and he says there are more. He could have told us instead of staying there watching us decide.
The food was good as in a good Portuguese bistro but no more especially as the wait was very long (30 mins). We ask for the addition and after 15 minutes, the addition still does not come so I get up to pay directly in cash and I realize that the addition was not even prepared.
Be careful as soon as you touch bread or butter or paste, they charge you 3 euros, the same for water (4euros) when nothing was asked for.
Very disappointed ... with a very old restaurant atmosphere.

É sempre muito bom voltar ao Pabe. Mesmo que a qualidade da cozinha esteja diferente do que há uns anos, o local continua a deixar-nos ficar horas sentados à mesa. Há pratos que se mantêm muito bons, como o Pato assado das 3ªs feiras!

Essen ist überteuert - Portionen winzig - einzig der Service ist witzig - wie in den 50er Jahren. Ich hatte Kalbsgeschnetzeltes für 17 Euro - meine Frau Fischfilet für 24 Euro. Zwei Bier dazu + Service-Gebühr, dann ist man bei 60 Euro. Geschmacklich ist das Ganze allenfalls belanglos.

Nette Bedienung (vier ältere Herren - auch Englisch passt). Feines Essen. Auf Spezialwünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Eher kein Restaurant für Shorts und T-Shirt - obwohl sicher alle willkommen sind. Leider wurde im Restaurant von vier Personen an zwei verschiedenen Tischen ausgiebig geraucht! Das schaffte die an sich gute Lüftung nicht. Schade um das gute Essen und den edlen Wein! Für das Gesamtpaket daher nur drei Sterne.
