We absolutely loved it here! Immediately we felt like family and were so well taken care of. The rooms are clean, very updated, and beautifully designed. The outdoor space was wonderfully relaxing and the breakfast was absolutely amazing!! The location is also great to walk to both Pena Palace and Moors Castle. Really cannot say enough good things about our experience here and wish we couldve stayed longer! Definitely stay here and perfect for couples, families, or groups.

My wife and I had a FABULOUS time staying at Storytellers Villas! The team of Marco, Christine, & Nuno were very accommodating to our changing travel schedule. They are truly caring people and recommended some great local things to do and places to eat that only the locals would know about. Everything about our stay was AWESOME! Bob & Sue

This was one of the best hotels/apartments we stayed in during our 10 day vacation through Portugal. The units are small, but the beds were very comfortable and the apartment was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home in the space. They provided bottle water, coffee, tea, and a fruit bowl as well as chocolates when we checked-out. The owner was also incredibly helpful and arranged to have my family driven around Sintra and to our next stop in Lisbon using their van for the same cost as Uber. The area also had some amazing Indian/Italian restaurants that were just steps from our apartment door. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Sintra!

This was a truly wonderful stay. The room was newly decorated and lovely, the staff very helpful. Such a perfect place to see Sintra, would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful little hotel with a quant garden tucked away about a 5 minute taxi ride from Sintra Castle. Rooms were well decorated.

Very cool place. Clean and we'll appointed. Staff and owners very accommodating. Breakfast excellent.

The property was in a good location and we felt very safe there. It was very well maintained with many seating areas outside.

Our visit to Sintra was amazing, and so much was due to the wonderful stay we had at Storytellers Villa. This was easily the best accommodation of our 2-week trip; the apartments are very well designed and decorated, and contain everything you might need. The location is also perfect- on a quiet street but also nearby to restaurants, and walkable to all of the main sites (though sometimes a steep climb!). Marco provided so many helpful tips about Sintra and other parts of Portugal, as well as recommended a nearby beach area that wasn't on our radar (Azenhas do Mar), arranged transportation, and made us a dinner reservation just in time to watch the sun set. Thank you to Marco and Nuno for everything and making our stay so easy and enjoyable-- we are looking forward to working on our Portugese and returning!

Our host Marco and his staff were great and offered excellent tips on where to visit in the local area and also in other areas we planned to visit in Portugal.Having free parking in the adjacent square was an added benefit, however we had a few issues with our room #2.Very little natural light making the room feel dark.Slight musty smell after the room had been closed up.Room felt “cramped” with too much in the room. Would be very cramped with 4 adults and luggage.TV in lounge area somehow also turned on the TV in the bedroom and vice versus.

Marco and his staff are incredible at Storytellers Villas. They really went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, I have never experienced such great hospitality. We stayed in the Pena Villa and it was beautifully decorated with everything needed for a comfortable stay, the beds were so comfy and we were left fresh fruit every day.

i love this place..very cozy the room..very good interior and very clean..breakfast is excellent... the owner marco very helpfull ..he help us to arrange tour to pena palace and other place ..they also provide transport ..the price even cheaper compare then you have to go by taxi..the staff nuno also is nice and helpfull ..he drop and pick up us and show all around sintra..

Whahhh Accueil très sympathique dans cet endroit dont le style prépare à la jolie ville où il est loti. Excellente literie, jolis studios, immaculés et plein de Charme. Petit déjeuner extra. Autour : restau trobador très très bien à prix plus que raisonnable et Petit bar à chicha pour finir la soirée, et toujours très bien reçu. Vaut son prix.

Our 3 day stay was very pleasant experience.The host Marco was very helpful and friendly, Comfortable bed ,nicely decorated room, Good location in Sintra.For a extra fee the host will cook a nice breakfast on a deck overlooking the neighborhood,They also have a shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go around town, we used it and was cheaper then a taxi ride, Nuno the shuttle driver went out of his way to take us to Pena Palace because most roads were closed due to fire risk. Overall it was good experience and I would do it again

Marcos’ place was amazing. Very well appointed and high quality throughout. He cooked us an amazing outdoor breakfast both days and they were very caring with our little kids. Our highest recommendation for both couples and families, you will love it!

Marco and his wife were extremely helpful and nice! Im very impressed with their hospitality. They made our stay at Sintra unforgettable. The place was clean, comfortable and well kept! Spacious rooms for a family of 4. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely! I cant speak highly enough about this place! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone and cant wait to return!

A wonderful nice little Hotel! The rooms are little apartments, carefully and cozy designed. The breakfast was served in the room, or in decent weather on the patio on the top of roof. Overlooking the village. Marco and his Wife are very nice persons and we highly recommend their Hotel!

Marco,Christina & Nuno are amazing people. Their hospitality & warmth was ‘over the top’. They provided shuttle service whenever we needed it. They are very familiar with Portugal so made excellent recommendations as to areas to visit & places to eat & shop. Storytellers takes you back in time with its cozy quaint atmosphere. If you enjoy ‘old world charm’ this is the place for you. Conveniently located nearby shops & retaurants. I am making plans with my family to return with them and meet with more family there at Storytellers. It exceeded my expectations! Two thumbs up!
