This has got to be the coolest place to stay near Lisboa. The views over the city accross the river are priceless. The host, Pedro, is amazing and there are several surprises as part of the stay that I won't spoil in this review. The ferry to Belém is about a 10 minute (steep) walk away and only takes 10 minutes to get acrross. If you're in a reasonably fit condition (able to tackle stairs and inclines) then this is THE place to stay near Lisbon. Our most memorable accomodation in Europe so far. Thank you Pedro!

This was a little hard to find on the map but we kept driving past it and ended up at a dead end and turning around. The gps threw us off a little and it was dArk. We were welcomed and given thorough directions and it was such a wonderful stay!! We booked on air bnb but it was still great ! Such a unique little place with an amazing view of the water and neighboring areas. Be sure to use the lift to catch the views from above and spending some time in the little treehouses. Property has lots of fig trees, grapes, and olives around. The owner was super friendly and helpful with information about the area and how to get around. We were even surprised with a breakfast basket, so cute ! Thank you , enjoy !!

First of all, this place is absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Lisbon. From the view, to comfort level, to the host, this place was absolutely amazing. The windmill itself is very cozy and amazing for a get-away. Despite it being it a very nice and quite location, it is easy to get to Lisbon's center with an amazing and beautiful ferry ride. The garden of the property which can be enjoyed by the guests is stunning and is full of fruits which can be enjoyed for free as well. The views from the garden are unheard of, especially the sunsets. Lastly, the host is amazing. He was very friendly, helpful, and immediately makes you feel welcome. He was always quick to respond and help us out when we needed something or had a question and generally very helpful in any situation. His hospitality is what made this place absolutely perfect! Recommend to anyone looking to go to Lisbon.
