Hermosa iglesia. Hay que visitarla

Klasztor Hieronimitów (Mosteiro des Jeróminos), to dawny klasztor wraz z kościołem Santa Maria pobliżu rzeki Tag. Budowę klasztoru i kościoła rozpoczął Król Manuel 6 stycznia 1501 roku i trwała z przerwami 100 lat. Klasztor przetrwał trzęsienie ziemi w Lizbonie w 1755 bez większych szkód. Klasztor i kościół jest jednym z najbardziej znanych przykładów portugalskiego późnogotyckiego stylu manuelińskiego. W 1983 roku został wpisany na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO wraz z pobliską wieżą Belém. W dniu 13 grudnia 2007 roku w klasztorze podpisano traktat lizboński, określający podstawy reformy Unii Europejskiej. W kościele znajdują się kamienne groby Vasco da Gamy (1468-1523) oraz wielkiego poety i kronikarza, Luísa de Camões (1527-1580). Oba grobowce zostały wyrzeźbione przez XIX-wiecznego rzeźbiarza Costa Mota w harmonijnym stylu neo-manuelińskim. Śmiertelne szczątki obu zostały przeniesione do tych grobowców w 1880 roku.

Imprescindible la visita en la zona de Belém de las tumbas de Vasco de Gama y Luis de Camoes, tiene el acceso junto al monasterio de los Jerónimos y su entrada es gratuita. A la parte superior, la balconada de la vidriera, se sube por el interior del monasterio

Não deixe de visitar, fica na capela ao lado do mosteiro. Mesmo com o mosteiro fechado é possível ver o túmulo.

Церковь, много людей, автобусов. Можно не быть верующим, но Посмотреть внутрь стоит.

Una iglesia hermosa e importante para los portugueses. Recomendada.

One of the interesting things to see within the Santa Maria de Belem (free entry) is the Church at Jerónimos Monastery is the tomb of Navigator, Vasco de Gama is situated in the back of the nave. Make sure to give it a few minutes of your time during your visit to this UNESCO World World Heritage attraction.

Superbe œuvre architecturale

Magnifique Eglise!! Entrée libre. En revanche attention à la queu qui peut etre très longue et beaucoup de monde à l'interieur. Mais cela vaut quand meme le coup.

Aunque está en obras, está genial, es grandiosa. Su entrada es totalmente gratuita.

Weltklasse! Sehr gut erhalten und eine schöne Sehenswürdigkeit. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Prima auch das Mütter, bzw. Familien mit Kleinkindern vorgelassen werden. Vielleicht sollte man das auch allgemein für Familien mit Kindern gelten lassen. Gesunde Erwachsene könnten vielleicht Rücksicht nehmen.

Piękna katedra i tysiące turystów.

It's a big place to visit. I don't put 5 stars cause, some weeks ago i was in Roma. The cathedrale are so unbelievable that it's difficult to be full absorb by this more Classic One. However, it's beautiful and you feel good energy inside. The place is quiet even with lot of tourists.

Assolutamente consigliato! Anche solo la Chiesa ne vale la pena! Purtroppo il chiostro chiude presto, alle 17:15 non fanno più entrare nonostante la chiusura sua alle 17:30 in giorni di alta presenza turistica mi sembra indecente...almeno alle 18:30, sarebbe già diverso.

Importantisimo monasterio, no se puede dejar de conocer, un espectaculo.
