Amazing stay at the flat. Just over the street from the subway and on the doorstep of Alfama, probably the most beautiful district of Lisbon. The flat was quite big with two rooms, common bathroom, spacious kitchen, internal terrace and a TV lounge. Definitely recommended for couples visiting Lisbon!

The place had all you need for a short central stay in Lisbon - and the hosts very very knowledgeable, friendly and service minded!

Era nuestro primer viaje a Portugal y este apartamento fue la mejor opción que pudimos escoger. Está muy bien comunicado y tienes unas vistas impresionantes al río. Recomiendo dejar el coche y moverse por la ciudad en trasporte público. El apartamento está justo al lado de una para de autobús y de la estación de tren y metro. Tiene servicio WiFi y las comodidades de un apartamento normal, no tiene lavadora.

Le logement était situé au 4e étage, ce qui n'est pas dans la description. 4 escaliers à pic qui ressemblaient plus à une échelle pour les derniers. Pour des personnes de 63 ans avec bagages c'était inacceptable. De la part d'Expedia c'est une faute inadmissible. Il fallait le mentionner.Par ailleurs, la salle de bain était très sale. C'était révoltant. Mais nous étions pris. Voyez les photos.

It was tough call deciding within a few weeks away where to stay in Lisbon. And of course options with good reviews where already booked. I decided to give it chance and went all in with Alfama River Apartments. If you are making a decision based on the photos provided please abort. The photos are not accurate. The check in process was fast and if you follow the instructions provided before you check in, you wont have any issues. The apartment was big in size but definitely is in need of an update. It just gives the impression between being very rustic or not. Didnt like the fact that the shower needs cleaning. Also the property sells the fact that parking is free and included. This is not accurate. The location was a plus (excellent location)!

very nice place. apartment in an old house, big enough for 4 people. all amenities are fine. neighbourhood is nice.staff is friendly.

Positive: The historic appearance of the apartment was fascinating. It was hard to decide what was original and what was fake. The bedrooms were windowless but that didn't detract from the ambience of the place... Negative: A welcome pack with a few basics would have been useful. Also some information about the area and possibly a street map.

Positif: L’emplacement est idéal, proche du métro , des bus et d’une station de taxi et de nombreux commerces et d’un marché. Négatif: La propeté des draps le jour de notre arrivée et le canapé lit qui est absolument inconfortable. L’appartement est équipé d’un lave-vaisselle et d’un lave-linge, mais il n’y a ni le produit du lave vaisselle, ni la lessive.

Positive: La posizione della struttura. Il personale gentile e cordiale.. Negazione: Il rapporto qualita-prezzo. Tante scale scomode.

Positive: The location was great.The general feel and comfort was good. . John who met us was pleasant and very helpful. Double glazing very efficient on what could be a very noisy corner. Bed comfy , shower fine, plenty hot water.. Negative: There are a few bits a pieces needing some DIY attention like wobbly wheels on the dining table that could have collapsed, hooks off walls etc .The kitchen was well equipped in many ways but there were only 3 mugs one chipped , 2 wine glasses, for accommodation for 6 people and only a couple of bowls, one tea towel for a week, so lucky we didn't eat in much. Had there been 6 of us I don't know where they would have sat in comfort. Could do with some sound proofing from heavy footsteps clonking around in Apartment upstairs. No windows on bedroom meant they got stuffy.

Положительный: Отличное расположение и вид. Рядом метро, железнодорожная станция откуда можно доехать в Порту, рестораны, магазины. До центра Лиссабона пешком 10-15 минут. В апартаментах отличный Вай-фай, есть все необходимое и даже больше, на все случае жизни найдётся вещь. Приветливый персонал, молодой человек, который заселял нас в апартаменты ответил на все вопросы, дал исчерпывающие рекомендации и согласовал наиболее комфортное для нас время отъезда.. Негативный: Сразу нужно отметить лестницу на 4 этаж, очень узкую, крутую и с разным градусом подъема, лично нам это не мешало, но кому-то необходимо будет это учитывать. В целом удобная, уютная квартирка со следами ее активного использования, уже не мешает обновить косметически. Иногда пахнет канализацией из ванны, но это скорее вопрос к коммуникациям во всем доме.

Атмосферно. Дуже близько до вокзалу. Вранці прокидаєтесь від того, що черговий круїзний лайнер або парусник заходить на стоянку просто перед вашим вікном. На вікно ж з класовою ненавистю дивиться скульптурна група на фронтоні Військового музею - він теж поруч. Лише кілька метрів до кількох ресторанів португальської кухні. На вокзалі - прекрасний супермаркет з гарним вибором готових страв. Не вірте опису на сайті: квартира не дворівнева. Вона ТРИрівнева (а якщо врахувати, що унітаз розташований на підвищенні в півметра, куди піди ще залізь, якщо ти розміром більше за білку, то й чотирирівнева). Є все, що потрібно на кухні. Прикольні дизайнерські раковини з каменю. ДУУУУУЖЕ приємний господар. Ох. Якщо ви юні, худі, невисокі і - бажано - глухі - це ідеальне приміщення для вас. Ми з чоловіком немаленькі і в висоту, і в ширину - нам було відверто тісно. Сходи скрізь - і вони ну ДУЖЕ екстремальні. Вузькі і без перил. Це не так проблема квартири, як наша. але про це варто попереджати: масштабним буде тісно. Дуже даремно заховали холодильник за дерев'яними дверима: він через це перегрівається. Найбільше випробування для мене з артрозом - це відвідання душу і туалету. Якщо у вас проблеми з ногами, краще оберіть інше житло. Ну і ніякої звукоізоляції: ти чуєш сусідів-італійців зверху, сусідів-німців десь збоку, веселий сміх, коли молодь розходиться з сусідніх барів. В спальні є кондиціонер, але він стоїть просто біля ліжка, надовго тому включити проблемно.

Positiv: Sehr praktische Lage, ungefähr 200 m zur U-Bahn. Es gibt zahlreiche gute und dazu auch relativ günstige Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Alfama-Viertel ist an sich schon recht sehenswert. Das Wohnzimmer ist schön hell (wenn man die innen liegenden Fensterläden öffnet), aber auch eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden, sollte sich das Haus stark aufwärmen. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Sauberkeit ist im Grunde genommen in Ordnung. Die Wohnung ist eben noch groß genug für bis zu 3 Erwachsene, bei 4 oder mehr Personen dürfte sie aber schon etwas eng sein. Die Küche hat eine akzeptable Grundausstattung (Abfallsäcke fehlen). Diese Unterkunft ist im wesentlichen zu empfehlen.. Negativ: Die Schlafzimmer haben keine Fenster, folglich kann es da nicht gelüftet werden. Der Esstisch ist wacklig, und zwar in besorgniserregenden Maßen. Die Treppe ist etwas eng und seeehr steil, bis zum 1. Stock ist es aber noch zu verkraften.

Pozytywna: lokalizacja, klimatyczne wnętrza apartamentu wpisujàce się w klimat dzielnicy alfama. Negatywna: Przez cały pobyt dostawaliśmy SMS-Y od Mauro ( menadżer apartamentu) że nie opłaciliśmy apartamentu w całości a na końcu pobytu że nie zapłaciliśmy całej kwoty i musimy dopłacić 30 euro. Musieliśmy wysyłać emaile z potwierdzeniem zapłaty. Mam obawy że turyści którzy nie znają angielskiego często nabierają się na jego sztuczki.

Positive: la vicinanza dal parcheggio dell'auto che avevo noleggiato e della metro. L'allegria e la particolarità del quartiere.

Positiva: La zona muy bien para ver el centro de Lisboa, las camas muy cómodas. Negativa: Escaleras complicadas para personas mayores con problemas de movilidad o familias con carritos

Vista bonita, decoração com gosto, mas não é aconselhavel para pessoas altas. O sofá da sala não é confortavel para sofá-cama.

Excellent location. We did appréciate the view very much. The place is a bit old and would benefit from some minor renovations

Negativ: Liten, trang leilighet. Svarte ikke til forventningene. Vi var 4 voksene og 2barn( 9-12-åring) Det var ikke mye plass igjen når vi hadde redd opp dobbeltsofaen i stua.

Pozytywna: Apartament położony w niezwykle urokliwej części Lizbony, świetnie nadaje się na wspólne podróże grupy znajomych. Udogodnienia: internet, klimatyzacja, własna kuchnia. Jest to dobre miejsce wypadowe, żeby pieszo zwiedzać stolicę Portugalii. Łóżka wygodne, łazienka stylowa, wpisuje się w ciekawy klimat Alfamy.. Negatywna: W mieszkaniu zastaliśmy brudne naczynia, pozlepiane brudem sztućce w suszarce do naczyń, brak podstawowego wyposażenia: była zmywarka, ale bez tabletek, nie było nawet płynu do mycia naczyń, brudne rzeczy trzeba było wyparzać wrzątkiem. Trzeba wziąć pod uwagę, że to Portugalia, więc jeśli umawiasz się z gospodarzem na 16:00, nie licz na to, że spóźni się mniej niż pół godziny.

Положительный: Стильный интерьер. С претензией на местный колорит, но с самой современной техникой. Не хватало только сплит системы. Отличное расположение - рядом и уютные ресторанчики и супермаркет и метро и места для прогулок. Негативный: 1. Очень странная система оплаты. Хотя обещали бесплатную отмену и есть данные карты, хозяин связался по почте потребовал оплатить проживание полностью, плюс депозит, плюс уборку за две недели до заезда. Причем оплатить не с карты, а банковским переводом. За это мой банк взял ещё сверху 15 евро. У друзей, бронировавших номер вместе с нами, предоплату не требовали. Потребовали оплату наличными при заезде. 2. Номера выше 1-го этажа - только для сильных духом и физически. Лифта нет, а лестница невероятно узкая и крутая. Серьезная проблема для детей!!! 3. Прям под окнами шумный бар и маршрут мусоровоза. Т.к. сплит системы нет, спать приходится с открытыми окнами. А там до 2-3 часов веселье, а в 5 утра шумный сбор мусора...

The unit did not even come close to the photos posted online. It was located on the fourth floor with stairs that were dangerously steep! The toaster did not work and the bathroom door knob was broken as the one bedroom. The positive side is that it has a great view and is very close to everything!

Positive: La vicinanza alla St. Apolonia per i Taxi. Appartamento in uno dei quartieri più suggestivi di Lisbona.. Negazione: Scale molto ripide e strette: con bimbi piccoli e passeggini è un problema! Acqua calda non istantanea in bagno. Per famiglie è ok per un soggiorno breve (2-3 notti)

Positivo: Decoração / aproveitamento do espaço. Áreas muito pequenas mas confortável. Localização.. Negativo: Cheiro na cozinha, provavelmente das madeiras. Acesso difícil para pessoas com dificuldade em subir escadas (degraus antigos, altos e estreitos)

Positiv: Wir hatten das Apartment im 3. Stock mit schönem Blick über den Fluss Tejo, auf die Kreuzfahrtschiffe und auf die Stadt. Daniel hat sehr freundlich und im Auftrag von Mauro die Übergabe gemacht. Er hat uns geholfen, das Gepäck die steile Treppe hinauf zu tragen und uns einen 2. Schlüssel am nächsten Tag vorbei gebracht. Das Apartment war klein, aber recht ordentlich renoviert. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof Santa Apolonia sowie zur Stadt war für uns ideal.. Negativ: Es könnte etwas gründlicher geputzt werden. Es gab sehr wenige Möglichkeiten Kleidung aufzu- hängen. Der Abfluss roch zeitweise schlecht und in der Dusche floss das Wasser sehr langsam ab. Bei dem Alter das Hauses ist das nicht unbedingt verwunderlich.

Positiv: Lage, Aussicht auf Fluss, Ausstattung. Negativ: Abnutzungserscheinungen (Wasserhahn, Küchenschränke)

Положительный: Отличное расположение в историческом районе Алфама рядом с вокзалом,метро и стоянкой такси. Дизайн апартаментов в старинном стиле, достаточно просторно.. Негативный: Спальни не имеют окон и кондиционера, если закрывать двери, то очень душно. Звукоизоляция оставляет желать лучшего.

Very traditional building very well located for transport and walking into the city centre. We were on 4th floor and there are no lifts and the stairs are very steep, however, the apartment was worth the climb. It has a small kitchen with everything you need (washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge etc) and great views. The windows all opened allowing a through breeze to keep the place cool in 30+ degrees. Will definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

The drain to the shower wasnt draining when we arrived, they took care of that, but then sewer gasses were backing up through the now open drain. We asked several times for them to handle it. They were very dismissive, saying it is normal in Lisbon.... Sewer gasses are dangerous and are not normal in residences. We had to have all the windows in the apartment open to vent the gasses the entire time we were there. They sent someone out once and they said they didnt smell the gas, so there must not be a problem. Well we had all the windows open, so you wouldnt smell it! The renting company was very dismissive and NEVER corrected the problem. I would not stay there, and would warn anyone else considering it to reflect upon whether you want to be breathing in sewer gasses from everyone elses apartment through your bathroom! Also, you should take note of how poorly we were treated when you make your decision.

Quartier typique. Marche agréable dans les rues avoisinantes. Près de la Place du Commerce et de la rue Augusta (rue piétonnière).

Situados al lado del Panteón y de la estación de Santa Apolonia, estos apartamentos están rehabilitados con muy buen gusto y están prácticamente nuevos. El único pero son las estrechas y empinadas escaleras, el resto perfecto. Wifi buena, muchos canales de tv, menaje, lavadora, lavavajillas. Muy tranquilo si vas con niños, aunque el barrio está un poco descuidado, por desgracia algo muy habitual en Lisboa

We enjoyed our stay however, we initially had difficulty getting access to the room which was very frustrating. When you arrive to the address, there is no main office or any information about how to contact the host. The host did not answer the telephone number that was provided by hotels.com, which required us to call hotels.com several times to figure out how to contact the host. The location is good for the Alfama area.

The location was perfect, a short distance from the metro, in a lively neigbourhood, yet quiet at night. The apartment is beautiful and very well appointed. I would have given a five star rating if I had not had some difficulty contacting the owner when I needed to on a Saturday.

l hotel est mal insonnorisé,l escalier tres raide et le quartier est bruyant , degradé..L interieur est vieillot. Le parking dit gratuit est fermé et donc inexistant. Je suis déçue!

Dont book this apartment unless you are absolutely fit. This apartment is at the end of s steep climb and on the 4th or 5th floor. After climbing the hill you have climb 4-5 floors of narrow steps to get to your apartment. I thought I was fit until I got here! This particular apartment is clean but the building it houses seems very old and run-down. The apartment has been renovated but all the stuff inside is cheap, walmart stuff. The flexible-hose shower wouldnt stay in place because the holder, although new, is cheap plastic one! The apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen. Actually, the stuff in the kitchen are of very good quality. The apartment has a nice view of the river but the climb is so taxing that I wouldnt recommend it to others unless they are very fit.

Great location, near the train station, taxi stand. Next to the military museum and not far from downtown.

This was a great little apartment looking out over the harbor in the Alfama district. We stayed on the 4th floor which is 4 sets of steep staircases up, no elevator. This worked for us and the property manager helped to get our suitcases upstairs, but for those who do not like stairs, this would not be a good apartment to stay in. The view was fantastic of the harbor and the neighborhood has a lot of charm. It is fairly quiet in the evenings and the sounds of Fado music can be heard as the restaurants nearby host Fado shows.

Bin auf das Apartment aufgrund der Bewertungen aufmerksam geworden.Wir hatten das Apartment mit etwa 70 m² im obersten (vierten) Stock.Der Gesamteindruck war sehr positiv. Die steile Treppe in den vierten Stock hinauf ist vielleicht gewöhnungsbedürftig, stellt für einen gesunden Menschen jedoch kein großes Problem dar.Der Blick ist genial: man sieht zum einen auf den Tejo und zum anderen auf die Alfama.Das Apartment ist ausgestattet wie beschrieben, alles da. Zum Teil schon etwas abgewohnt. Die Heizung (Ende März) hat gut funktioniert.Zwei Dinge waren nicht so schön: der muffige Geruch nach jedem Heimkommen, der allerdings durch Lüften schnell verging und die etwas siffige Dusche mit Schimmel sowohl in der Wanne als auch an allen Silikon-Fugen.Das ist etwas unverständlich – weil wirklich leicht abzustellen!Aber: der Gesamteindruck war sehr positiv; wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Bare wood everywhere.Its an old building recently (8 years?) refurbished?A little cramped. But nice.Bring anything you want in apartment, including soap. they supply no consumables.

Perfectly located in the old part of the city. Everything is in walking distance if desired, but the Metro is only a 5 min walk away which has connections with the rest of the city. We were met on arrival by the owner, Mauro, who was very helpful in going through the apartment facilities and local attractions. All in all a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it!

The apartment was very confortable. Excellent location, next to a metro station. Mauro, the person in charge of the apartment, was very friendly and was very patient in spite of our late arrival. The apartment does not have a lift, so keep this in mind if you are travelling with a lot of luggage. Highly recommended.

The apartment is in a very very old building. The stairs are very steep.Although the apartments are in OK condition, but the building is in serious disrepair. Parking is a nightmare. The shower unit is tiny !!! The bathroom/toilet has absolutely NO ventilation.

This is a truly old portugese building just at the begining of the long hill going up to the castle. Quirky but great! 2 Bed apartment with sofa bed in lounge. With one bathroom and generally limited space I would recommend as best for 4 people. You need to be fit to carry bags upstairs! Very reasonable price.

Alfama is a great location for restaurants and fado.It is next to the train station very convenient.We had a view on the oceanYou have to be in shape to go up the stairs with the luggagesThe street is too dark at night and dirty . A bit further up in alfama is better.Appartment staff came right away to fix a hot water problem.
