Cosy and clean restaurant with an easy vibe. Staff all smiles and helpful. Was given an English translated menu, which was easy for reading.

We went as it was close to our place and the reviews were awesome (at the time of writing this is #66 of all restaurants in Lisbon). Also we wanted some other than Portuguese cuisine for a change. The place is what you would expect from small Indian restaurant in Europe, cheap materials, Indian music, really long menu with lots of spelling mistakes :) and friendly staff. We tried Lamb Madras, Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer with side of plain Naans. The Madras sauce was tasty and they did prepare it very spicy for us on request. The lamb meat was tough and chewy. The Chicken Tikka was very average in taste, meat OK. Paneer I would skip next time, lacking flavor. Naans were not really great, but not too bad, but was more like soft pita bread rather than Naan. I lived in India and I have tried many Nepalese restaurants in various cities, so probably my bar for the taste is a bit high, if you are not experienced in this cuisine, you might find it OK, just did not live up to my expectations, considering this place is ranked in Top 100 restaurants in Lisbon...

Zachęcony dobrymi opiniami w internecie wstąpiłem razem z żoną i dziećmi na obiadokolację. Opinie okazały się być prawdziwe: jedzenie świetne, klimat miejsca bardzo ciepły, przytulny, a za oknem co jakiś czas przewijały się lizbońskie tramwaje. Ceny jak na Lizbonę bardzo przystępne. Polecam gorąco.

Because they have a huge variety of dishes I feel like I can only judge for the garlic naan and the shrimp curry I had - but they were amazing. The curry was not "boring" and had an intense and delicious taste.

Definitely authentic Nepalese cuisine although not as spicy as usual which is not a bad thing ...really tasty and good selection ...good fun to go through the English menu and pick out the spelling errors before ordering ...does really well compared to the Nepalese restaurants back in London ...

Absolutely amazing. We had the mushroom 65 (chef special), onion balls (or something), mutter paneer and chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan, plus vino verde. Would definitely recommend.

This was absolutely fantastic! Best food we’ve had in Lisbon. Definitely authentic. All the food was piping hot, fresh and arrived ten minutes early. The momo and chow mein were to die for. Would definitely order again!!!

Super leckeres Essen. Wie die Vorredner schon beschrieben haben, darf man sich nicht von dem Ambiente "täuschen" lassen. Es erinnert ein wenig an einen Kiosk, allerdings ist das Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Die Speisekarte ist riesig, die Bedienung mehr als freundlich. Der Preis ist zudem auch überragend. Wir können es sehr empfehlen. Meine Freundin mag es nicht so scharf, dass einfach bei der Bestellung dazu sagen und es wird berücksichtigt. Auch kann man auf die Empfehlung der Bedienung zählen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir den Erdnusssalat, dieser ist ebenfalls eine Empfehlung wert. Gerne wieder :)

Truly incredible Tibetan fusion restaurant in Lisbon; came craving some excellent Hakka, not only left full, but even ordered extra for takeout. Fantastic service, so pleased to be there, kitchen staff at the top of their game. Biryani, Karahi, naan, chili Momo, everything delicious!

Excellent fare. Had vege dumplings, Chow Mein and Lamb curry. Delicately spiced and lightly seasoned (no heavy or fatty oils). Great service. Also good value. Highly recommended for some variation from the norm. Best Nepalese I've had to date.

Very tasty food and friendly service. Many restaurants in Lisbon don't serve dinner "early" (18:00) but this one does. The garlic naan tasted different from.which my S. Asian boyfriend and I are accustomed, sort of like it tasted somewhat of cheese, but it wasn't necessarily bad.

A wonderful dining experience and brilliant food served.
Very happy with the crazy pork dish and the fried rice is tasty and not oily. Definitely get the naan.
They do not take reservations and you could end up waiting up to an hour to be seated during peak times. Avoid this by ordering take out and going to sit at the view overlooking lisbon instead!

Comida muito boa e staff muito simpático e atencioso, apesar de só falarem inglês. Muito acessível. Como já não tinham sobremesas fizeram desconto. Ficou 11eur por pessoa.
Quase merecia as 5 estrelas não fosse o facto de sairmos de lá com a roupa a cheirar a comida.

Delicious and inexpensive food! If we lived here we’d probably frequent this place once a week. We had the fried soy beans (lime-y and spicy!), samosa’s (the only thing that was so so) and number 101 (photo) which was really tasty. The naan bread was airy and crispy at the same time. Really loved this place. All together the price came to just €17!

Chanced upon this non-touristy but amazing restaurant while exploring the streets of Lisbon. They serve delicious and quite authentic Nepalese and Indian food, specially loved the soup and rice dishes!
The service was great with good recommendations. But the best part was the table by the window with lovely views of life passing by the on the street!

There was really good food, spicy enough to add some heat but not too overbearing. The waitress was nice and very friendly. It was an overall good experience. Highly recommend to those who like Indian and Nepalese food and those who want to try something new.

Its one of the best food i had in my time at Lisbon. The food quality and quantity was definitely worth the price. Will definitely reccomend to visit. Dont judge the restaurant by its size, its small and always busy but its very delicious and cost effective place.

Its one of those restaurants that you could easily pass by because the presentation and white lighting is not great, but that is because the people are too busy making fantastic food to worry about such nonsense.
We were with a big group of which most had not tried Nepalese foods before. There is a confusingly large selection of dishes but it did not really matter, everyone really enjoyed whatever they picked. Its excellent food for a great price, and the wine was surprisingly good for only 7 euros/bottle.

Nous avons pris du poulet et de l'agneau accompagnés de Naan fromage et ail. C'était copieux et très bon. Les serveuses étaient très aimables et parlent anglais.
Un des meilleurs restaurants que nous ayons pu faire à Lisbonne.
Ayant réservé sur internet, nous avons eu environ 30% sur l'addition (hors boissons)

Five stars for service, food and ambience. Had an unbelievable meal here following a very disappointing and expensive one the night before in a Fado restaurant. We would highly recommend to anyone who likes their curries and even those that haven't tried them yet to come visit here. We will be back next year!!! I have a year to try and perfect the soybean salsa.

Após termos experimentado comida nepalesa noutros restaurantes devo dizer que a experiência ficou aquém das expectativas. Apesar da simpatia a comida não sobressaiu ao ponto de nos fazer querer voltar. Pedi o thukpa de galinha e o sabor era tão suave que era quase inexistente. Pedimos também o thali e basicamente o mesmo aconteceu. Não sei se foi um mau dia mas infelizmente não me convenceu a voltar.

Just WOW! I've never had Nepalese food before and I was not disappointed! I got the fried soybeans to start. They were amazing. Perfect combination of spice and lime. I don't remember what number it was on the menu (maybe 16) but I would totally recommend it. Next I had #102 and oh man, it was great. I can't say enough about the food, but the service was also fantastic. Only 22€ for two people (appetizer, naan, 2 main meals, and 2 beers), which is such a great deal. Again, WOW. Make the trip to yak & yeti if you can.

Le curry est doux leger, le byriani est parfait et mon assiette mix grill a s en lécher les doigt accompagne d oignons caramelises.

Really authentic and tasty. Never tried Nepalese food but of course regularly Indian Food, so I was impressed of the different but similar taste of the meal.
We took the number 101 and 100 which is like a taste plate of 4 different tastes served with rice.
It took some time until we. got our food but air. conditioner and tv made us stay happy the entire time.

All'interno il locale non è il massimo, ma in compenso il cibo è veramente molto buono.
Abbiamo preso un antipasto, diversi tipi di pane, un piatto nepalese e del pollo al curry + riso e abbiamo speso circa 23 euro grazie ad uno sconto di The Fork

Good food, great for sharing. Watch out for the coriander on the garlic naan (if you like me detest fresh coriander).
Recommending for two: butter chicken curry, tikka masala and plain naan. Do share! Feels very adapted to European flavours, but it is a fatty, sweet and savory delight.

Excellent Nepali and Indian food. If you are craving a proper curry this is the place in Lisbon. Spiced up on demand. Functional interior like the local Portuguese restaurants rather than a salubrious themed environment aimed at tourists, the focus here is on service and food. Really nice people. They make everyone welcome. Owner recognised me from when I visited last time I was in Lisbon and came here several times. Two years ago! WiFi.

Really amazing and tasty food for a reasonable price! We had a bunch of different meals ordered like the samosa, onion pokora, chicken Tikka masala, butter chicken, korma, mango Lassi and so on and everything was amazing! I was never impressed by the lisbon food, but this was a very nice surprise! And the staff was very friendly!!

Un petit resto qui ne paie pas de mine de l'extérieur mais une fois entré on découvre ces petits murs bleu turquoise et sa cuisine ouverte, son équipe souriante et au petit soin pour des prix derisoirs !! On y découvre des spécialités nepalaises, indiennes. Et tout est bon, cuisiné sur le moment bref un régal !!!!!

Für 23 Euro 2 Pers. Frisch zubereitet. Jederzeit wieder. :)

Went in to order, waited 20mins no one came over so went to order takeaway as was getting late. Was told 15mins, in 30mins they said another 1min which turned into 10mins and then I had to pint out the drink was missing, and once arriving home realised another dish was missing. Called to let them know and they asked “what do you want to order now?”
Food was average, reviews here must have been from another chef working as the crazy chicken was mostly bones, the vege pakora so oily the bag had soaked and torn with grease and the only palatable dish was garlic naan.
Will not go again, seriously reconsider.

Absolutely fantastic!! REAL authentic taste!! Same chillies, spinach dhal as they use in Nepal I could not believe my taste buds. Including local Nepali dishes that are HARD to find in other Nepali restaurants.

The first time we went to this amazing place was in August last year. We went there at least 5 times. This summer when we were planning to come to Lisbon again, we spoke how we will go to this restaurant again. We were missing it in the last year. So when we arrive at lisbon again a week ago, the first place we went from the airport was Yak & Yeti. This is the best Indian/Nepal kitchen we have ever been around the world. You must visit this place!!!!

Very small restaurant with excellent food. We where there on a Sunday where they have a special menu deal, which I can strongly recommend cause it was around 11 € and included so much food that we had hard times walking for the next hour. Also the stuff is really friendly and there English is not too bad.

Nous avons retrouvé ici les saveurs du Népal. C'est une cuisine raffiné à un prix extrêmement raisonnable. Le repas est copieux.

Food is 2 star (nothing special, but quite pricey for Lisbon and the type of food), they however seem not very keen to take card payment. They were constantly trying to get us to get cash somewhere and pay (even faked that the card payment machine did not work ~3 times).
After 15 mins of going back and forth the card reciever somehow worked out well...
There are plenty of better places to pay 50 EUR lunch for 3 in Lisbon.

Service was extremely slow, and we seemed to be a bit ignored after I mentioned that I had a The Fork reservation. This reservation ended up being for nothing as there was a minimum order to profit from the discount...
Either way, the food was nice. My tofu was a bit disappointing but the bread and the other dish that came with it were really very tasty.

La mia esperienza personale è stata eccellente. Cerco di essere parziale ma ogni singola cosa che ho mangiato era veramente ben fatta. Il personale (che parla anche un ottimo inglese) è stato veloce, gentile e cordiale chiedendomi addirittura se le pietanze le volessi molto o poco speziate. Il prezzo è stato sbalorditivo. Considerando che degli involtini (Momo) ne ho presi due piatti e bibite varie ho speso manco trenta euro. E abbiamo mangiato in due. Consigliatissimo.

Sind hier eher zufällig drauf gestoßen. Wie gesagt sollte man sich vom Aussehen nicht abschrecken lassen. Innen gibt es authentische und gute Indisch/Nepalesische Küche. Wir haben uns einen Nepalesischen Kichererbsen-Teller als Vorschpeise geteilt. Diese waren Kross angebraten und sehr lecker. Als Hauptspeise haben wir Tandoori und eine Curryplatte bestellt. Beides sehr gut. Preise sind ok. Nicht supergünstig aber auch nicht teuer.Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir waren Mittags Ber auch die einzigen Gäste im Restaurant. Kommen gerne wieder.

Hemos comido estupendamente.
Comida muy sana aparentemente, nutritiva y llena de sabor gracias al buen uso que hacen de infinidad de especias.
Poco uso de la carne, un poco de pollo y algo de cerdo, pero es lógico, es un restaurante nepalí.

Me sorprende que este sitio tenga tan buenas Reseñas... salvo que las mismas estén amañadas por el local.
Precio bien, no pagas mucho ... pero al sitio batallero total, de hecho cogimos a través de la app tenedor y no nos quisieron el 30% de descuento, empeñándose en que canceláramos la reserva, cuánto menos inquietante esa actitud. No volveremos y no lo podemos aconsejar. Salvo si quieres comer algo básico, sin sabor, sin sal y sin pagar mucho dinero.

Probably the laziest effort put into food preperation I have experienced. A lot of these reviews seem fabricated, and that fooled us. Definitely not a 4.6. They also insist on selling bottled water, I asked them to charge me for a bottle but give me tap water because I don't like wasting plastic or glass unnecessarily. The server commented that I have ordered beer and should not need water anyway. It took some convincing to just get a glass of water. All that is fine and understandable if the food is decent, but it really was not good. We ordered Chili chicken, chat, veggies momos, and mushroom 65. Menu said the chicken would be fried, it wasn't. The sauce was just slabbed on top of bland chunks of chicken. Momos and chat were equally disappointing. Mushroom 65 was actually decent though. Advice to fellow travellers: dont waste a meal here and
try something more genuine instead.

Excellent all around! We ordered chicken mono dumplings, mutton curry, dal and naan. Everything was incredibly delicious and far surpassed our expectations. All the food plus a few drinks was only €25. Highly recommend!

Really really tasty!! It began raining and by accident we stumbled upon this food shop. Small, but tidy with a nice selection of tibetian and indian dishes. We had crispy, fluffy garlic naan and delicately seasoned biryani.

This might just have been the best lunch I've had in Lisboa (foreign foodwise.) Got 3 starters and couldn't finish but did my best, when food is this good, it would be a shame if any go to waste. I was surprised that everything that I had was vegetarian and yet so tasty (bonafide meat eaters will also find a wide range of dishes.)
Best lassi I've had in my whole life, I strongly recommend the fried vegetables, and the mushrooms with garlic and onion (though be sure you're not planning on sweet talking anyone after, your breath won't allow it.)
Really great place, I would like for this restaurant to open in every city I visit :P

Wow, where do I even start. We made reservations here tonight for 5 people. We arrived in super hungry and ready to eat here. We ordered chef special crazy chicken and allo(Fries dish) for starters and it was amazing amazing. Flavour was on point. For main courses, we had ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, mix vegetable curry, raita and garlic naan. Butter chicken was cooked to perfection. We also had ordered a grilled meat skillet which came with chicken and lamb which was also great. This was probably one of the best Indian/Nepalese food I hve ever had outside of India. We are Indian- Canadian and we eat tons of Indian food back home in Vancouver and this place puts lot of Indian restaurants even in Vancouver to shame

Lovely little Nepalese restaurant. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was really delicious and I normally guage how good the food is by ordering Prawn puri. I have to say this was one of the best Prawn purry I've had in a long time. The prawns were cooked to perfection as they melted in your mouth. Also ordered chicken dish again was fabulous and tasty and not oily at all. A great little gem of a restaurant.

We had a great experienxe at Yak & Yeti! We're American and vegetarian, and we really enjoyed this establishment's quick service, quality, accuracy, and variety. We ordered a lot of dishes (large meal after a long day of hiking around Lisbon), and all of them were piping hot and delicious. I highly recommend Yak & Yeti!

A friend found this place through an app while our party was looking for a place to eat in the area. The name stood out as it's probably the only Indian/Nepalese in Lisbon which doesn't have an Indian/Nepalese name. The space is small yet cosy. The girl serving us didn't speak the native Portuguese, though this was fine by us as we were all fluent English speakers. The food itself tasted great and wasn't expensive. The only negative aspect I would point out was that the spicy food wasn't really spicy. Wouldn't mind going again if in the mood for aromatic over spicy.

We loved the food, really delicious! We were two that shared two starters, two mains, one side dish and naan bread. All off it fantastic, but too much for only two persons. If you want, you can get a filling portion really cheap but totally worth trying different items from the large menu. Would definitely come back!

Joyful food. If in doubt, eat here. We love our curries and this place is simply fantastic and amazing, really amazing value. Food was clearly made from scratch with skill and passion and not reheated like you sometimes get. We were quite hungry and went all out. Large portions and just the best lamb saag we have ever had (my husband's favourite and most frequented dish). Will be back when we are next in Lisbon! A++ Fantastic place.

After traveling though Portugal for a week, we were beginning to grow tired of the local food and came here for something different. The Indian food was incredible, the service was very hospitable and accomedating, and the prices were very reasonable. It was so good, we are here againthe next night. Für 7,5€ kriegt man hier ein ausgezeichnetes Gemüse Curry inklusive einer Schüssel Reis. Auch die Vorspeißen sind nicht teuer, hier sollte man jedoch wenn man sein Essen nicht zu scharf mag besser nachfragen wie scharf es ist. Sollte man scharfes Essen aber mögen sind auch diese hier sehr empfehlenswert.
Dazu noch ein Mangolassi und das Abendessen ist perfekt ;)
Achtung ! Man sollte keinen Luxus erwarten sondern ein schlichtes autentisches Neapalesisches Restaurnt. Tut man das, ist es hier absolut empfehlenswert !

While we waited half an hour for a table, even though we made a reservation, rhe staff completely forgot our existence and didn't even offer something to eat while we waited. When we finally got a table there was a chair missing (yay) so we had to wait another 10 min until finally someone gave us a chair. The food was flavourful but nothing extraordinary. There are definitely better Indian restaurants in town, try those!

We were looking for traditional portugese food and walked by this place. The smell pulled us in. I can't remember the names of the dishes, some vegetable puri on top of fried bread appetizer and fritters were really good. The naan bread was thick like a pizza bread. Was way better than USA Indian places.

We were just walking by and the beautiful aroma compelled us to go in, we were not disappointed. The food was spectacular and the bottle of wine, great also, $26e including the wine. Cozy place with very tasty food. The meal is served with nice boules wich are kept warm with a candle. I liked the style how the food is arranged. The staff is gentle and they also have free wifi (no professional hotspot wich makes the wifi a bit unsafe - but anyway).

Me and my girlfriend are currently shacked up in a hostel a little ways up the street from here. Walking by we could smell the spices of the kitchen, that's what really drew us in.
FOOD:
First up we were brought a small appetizer of this really thin crispy bread with a tray of 4 sauces. THIS APPETIZER WAS FREE. The FLAVOR of both bread and sauce were outstanding. Me and my girlfriend ran out of the bread but still had sauce left over by the time our meals came out. This turned out to be a good thing since we added the sauces to our main courses enhancing the already great flavor.
I had some sort of noodle soup mix with vegetables, meat and spices. To be honest it wasn't what I was going for that night, but it was nice and filling. A good comfort food with a mellow flavor. €5
Where the meal really shined was with the lamb biriyani. A lamb and rice dish served in a bowl over a little candle fire. Hot damn that stuff was good. They know how to assemble a perfect ensemble of spice. Each bite was worth savoring. €8
And those sauces from the appetizer before put it over the top when added to the biriyani. Our favorite sauce was a white yogurty one. We would have happily paid €1 or so for an extra side of that sauce with our meal.
We also ordered a side of buttery naan. They give you a whole circle of bread cut into 4 corners. A really good amount for just €1 or so. Well worth it to compliment the meal/for shoveling biriyani and sauce onto.
Side note: water isn't free, I think it's just a Portugal thing. We were able to buy a bottle for €1.
SERVICE:
Service was very attentive. They offered help and suggestions. Very nice people.
OVERALL:
FOR SURE GET THE LAMB BIRIYANI, also a side of naan will go a long way. Stop in if you can for sure. These guys did well.

Really tasty Nepalese/Indian food with friendly and quick service.
Stopped in as family of four (incl baby and 3 yo) and they were quick to bring a high chair and anything else we needed for the kids. We're vegetarian and they have many many options and were very helpful pointing out things we could try (even off-menu items they had!)

I stumbled upon this place when it was raining, and I'm so glad I did. It is as authentic as it gets. The food is amazing (and cheap) and the people are so friendly. It's a small, informal restaurants which has Indian and Tibetan dishes alongside Napalese. It was so good I went back the next day and tried the Thali, which was delicious (and only 6 euros!)
