A small modern Portuguese restaurant with lots of promise, Distinto served up some great starters of fava beans and chorizo and garlic shrimp in a buttery sauce. The mains leaned more towards the traditional with the fish served with potatoes and beans, simple and satisfying, and unfortunately an overcooked beef steak with rice, chips, fried egg and salad. The restaurant has a young, up and coming vibe and is probably better for shared tapas style dishes and wines.

We found this awesome restaurant on google maps, less than 5 minutes from our Lisbon accommodation, and chose it based on the really great reviews - and it did not disappoint! Amazing food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Très bon petit resto. Anglophone, bon accueil. Cuisine maison. Très bonne morue, salade de poulpe chaud excellente. Bonnes entrées également (chorizo, tomates, œuf notamment). Ambiance tranquille.

Excellent small family restaurant. Good food, reasonably priced with friendly helpful service. One of the cheapest dinners we had in Lisbon, but also the best in terms of service and food.

Small family run restaurant. Very welcoming. The food is authentic and delicious. Mama's chocolate cake and caramel flan to die for! We liked it so much we ate here three times!

UNous sommes 2 GB & 2 français qui sommes tombés par hasard dans ce petit restaurant typique portugais.
Les gourmands que nous sommes nous en avons eu pour notre argent.Une cuisine familiale faite par la maman des 2 serveurs
Vraiment typique et copieuse.
Nous avons commencé avec 5 entrées différentes puis 3 plats principaux différents
et nous avons fini avec un genre de flan aux œufs caramel.... extraordinaire.
Ça vaut le détour..... bon appétit

Hier bekommt man sehr gutes Essen "wie von Mama". "Sie" kocht und bringt ihre leckeren portugiesischen Rezepte an die Gäste und ihre Söhne sorgen für einen guten Service. Das Thunfischsteak in Zwiebelsoße war sehr fein und als Dessert hatten wir den absolut besten Schokoladenkuchen, den wir je gegessen haben!

Wirkt von außen auf den ersten Blick etwas unscheinbar, aber die Küche ist einfach großes Kino. Auch innen ist das Restaurant schön und liebevoll eingerichtet.
Klassisches, portugiesisches Essen und frischer Fisch zu vollkommen fairen Preisen. Das Restaurant wird von zwei jungen sehr zuvorkommenden Portugiesen geführt.
Wir haben das Restaurant während unseres Aufenthalts in Lissabon gleich zweimal besucht.

Hier steht die Mutter noch in der Küche! Super Service, leckere Weine und spitzen Küche. Bekannte Gerichte neu interpretiert und dabei etwas leckeres geschaffen. Einen Besuch wert!

Très bonne surprise, on est passé devant, le restaurant était vide et on a hésité.. Fort heureusement on est entré. Merveilleuse cuisine locale "maison". Prix très abordables et bon accueil, ambiance cool. Inutile de vous préciser que nous y avons dîné tout notre séjour.

My friend & I stumbled upon this place. We don't regret it.
Our exquisite meals, provided by a waiter repping Black Sabbath T-shirt, were satisfying while also keeping our wallets full. The quaint atmosphere and chill vibes led to an overall amazing dining experience that you too will not regret.

We passed this wonderful restaurant on our way from A to B and intrigued by the menu came back for lunch. Without doubt the best meal we have eaten in Portugal, wonderful service with a real passion for their offerings. I cannot recommend this gem enough.

Der Laden war relativ leer als wir hier waren, völlig zu Unrecht, es liegt mit Sicherheit daran, dass er sehr neu ist.

Wundervolles, kleines Restaurant. Wir sind echt froh es entdeckt zu haben. Auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Große Vorspeisenauswahl und einige echt tolle Hauptgerichte. Alles selbstgemacht und deswegen einzigartig!

Avrei dato cinque stelle per il buon ambiente e la qualità del cibo servito in modo ineccepibile. Ma il poco rispetto che hanno per la clientela mi fa abbassare il rating. Andato un sabato sera ed ho avuto un ottima impressione. Decido di tornare il lunedì a mezzogiorno. Prenoto tramite un famoso portale di ristoranti. Arrivo all'ora prestabilita e trovo il ristorante chiuso senza alcuna giustificazione.

Wirklich sehr besonders und nicht zu vergleichen mit den vielen Touristenfallen in der Gegend und Stadt: Großartige Vorspeisen, super Fisch und Salat und wahnsinnig gute Desserts! Für den Preis geht es nicht besser!

Qualité au rendez vous, cuisine simple, mais service rudimentaire sans un mot de trop.
Limite agressif après notre remarque sur le codfish. Attention de codfish est très faisandé, pour estomac averti.

Not sure if the reviews are genuine but I had a really negative experience. Extremely slow and bored service, portions that cannot justify their prices. Being a regular in Lisbon, I will not visit this place again ever and I highly regretted visiting it considering the numerous amazing food options Lisbon is offering.

Just had dinner there . Lovely sardines...very well cooked and good homemade oils/condiments. Service friendly and good mix of clientele. Would like to go back before leaving. It’s also on the tram 28 route which is a bonus !! Portuguese house wine was enjoyed as was the ‘gingin ‘ comp liqueur

I’m not sure why this location is so highly rated. Food was basic and (as typical for Portuguese) too salty.
An entry we had of chorizo tomato and onion was phenomenal. The sea bass was perfectly cooked but unremarkable. Seems like plates are hit and miss.
My wife’s LVB port had sediment in the bottom, which totally ruined the end of her meal. The food is overall basic and uninspired.

We were desperate for food after checking in our apartment around 10:30pm .
We chose this place based on the reviews and didn't disappoint us .

We looked for the place to have dinner - everything was overcrowded and this place had just a single table occupied, the rest was free. We were attracted by the high rating and we decided to have dinner here. The food was so not tasty that we wanted to return one of the dishes back. However we were very hungry and thus decided to stay and finish our plates. Some pieces of the food had suspicious smell.
The place itself was cozy and the staff is fine. But I would not recommend the food.

Distinto was one of the food highlights of our trip to Lisbon. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by Marta, who is really passionate about the food and the wine she serves, and goes at least a couple of extra miles for guests who appreciate great food.
Not only did we enjoy fantastic food and wine, but we had a really fun time at Distinto and would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat food cooked with passion and with care.

One of the most wonderful things about exploring one of the world’s most wonderful cities, Lisbon, is discovering gems like Distinto.
In a quiet lane, albeit on the 28E tramline, we literally stumbled across this small privately owned modern-Portuguese restaurant by chance and decided to give it a go. It was a very smart decision in every way: the food was not only fabulous, but it was clearly prepared with love and great care – each dish mattered; the wine list was equally fine with obvious attention to the quality and the way they were described on the menu; and the service was attentive, warm and generous, but never too much. If anything, it was understated.
The deserts and the shots of cherry liqueur made this a perfect experience.
A great restaurant – and you MUST try the octopus!

We have found this place by coinsidence and what a luck it was! The service was great, waiter/owner(?) attentive but not pushy recommended dishes, patiently explaining their content in English as we don’t speak Portuguese and advising honestly what we should take and I what quantity :P he didn’t want us to order too much! Refreshing!
And the food was wonderful! Full of flavour, delicious and well presented. The menu is not too big but diverse so everybody found something for themselves. We ate mushroom soups, cheese from Azores, duck risotto, octopus stew and some delicious egg and caramel dessert.
***** five stars from us!

Uma experiência a repetir vezes sem conta. Comida maravilhosa acompanhada com um staff espectacular. O vinho da casa é delicioso. Aconselho, como entrada, croquetes de pato e como sobremesa leite de creme. Uma gastronómica subida aos céus!

This newly opened joint has a lot to offer. The menu has a lot to choose from and the owner/waiter was very attentive and gave great food & wine recommendations. She also recommended that we do not get another main, but instead a starter as the main we ordered was very heavy. This was a great tip and much appreciated, as of course she would have made more money had we got the main.
