Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in Lissabon und hätten keinen schöneren Abend dort verbringen können! Wir waren als Paar während der Corona-Beschränkungen vor Ort, wo selbstverständlich alle vorgeschriebenen Hygienemaßnahmen eingehalten wurden und es der sympathische Gastgeber trotzdem schaffte, uns einen unvergesslichen Abend zu bereiten! Wir waren den ganzen Abend die einzigen Gäste. Das Essen selbst war hervorragend, mit Abstand das beste Essen, was wir bisher in Portugal gegessen haben. Die Weinempfehlungen waren perfekt zu den jeweiligen Speisen abgestimmt, das Ganze zu einem für uns überraschenden, unschlagbaren Preis. Ein absolutes Juwel, in dem man sich außerhalb der Corona-Zeit wohl eher im Voraus über einen Sitzplatz informieren sollte.

Lugar con casi 5 estrellas en tripavisor y lo siento pero es inexplicable. Lugar minúsculo con 6 mesas. No tiene aire acondicionado, es imposible reservar. Lo peor es que en mi caso tardaron una hora en servir la comida. Por otro lado el dueño es simpático y te trata muy cordialmente y los precios son razonables, la comida no está mal salvo por el exceso de cilantro.

My wife and I had a truly great experience! It's a two-person operation: husband (front of house) and wife (chef) in a small, intimate setting. Very personal service and incredible food. Fresh, local, flavorful... Best to call 6:00-6:30pm for a reservation. If your call isn't answered, keep trying. It's worth it! Best dining we had in Lisbon by far.

A lovely restaurant that offers wonderful food. We tried the chef’s tasting menu and enjoyed everything- delicious local sausages, chiorzo, 2 baked cheeses and sweet onion relish to start, followed by small sweet clams in wine and garlic, mussels steamed in a fragarant sauce and large prawns. With a delicious bottle of white wine, and complimentary aperitif/ digestif. We were too full to try a dessert. In the US this meal would easily be double+ price. Reservations needed as they carefully stagger seating to give you great service and attention. Enjoy!

Our dinner and the service was superb! And we checked the bill to be sure we were charged for everything. We are used to Canadian prices and our dinner for four with wine at 90€ was a great value. We ordered apetizers including a plate of six succulent prawns. Our mains were red snapper, salmon and a seafood stew for two. All expertly prepared.

Amazing night in a very small and cozy restaurant. Portuguese cuisine, served with great passion by Antonio and his wife. These two do everything on their own. Cook, serve, host, greet. We tried some specialities and I'd totally recommend the experience.

You need a reservation in this cute and tiny restaurant. The food was amazing - super fresh fish prepared perfectly. The service was super friendly and held back, always offering advice and explanations. Would go there again any time!

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had! If you have the opportunity, you must eat here. The food was absolutely incredible, we couldn’t fault a single thing with any of our courses. The goats cheese and fig is a must. The service was exceptional, the owner is absolutely lovely. You won’t regret it!

Possibly the best restaurant that we visited throughout our visit in Lisbon. It is quite off the tourist areas, so getting there might be a challenge for some. It's a small place that holds less than 20 people, so reservations are definitely recommended; we saw them turned away more than five walk-in customers while we were there. We got the fish of day, sea bass, and garlic prawns. I highly recommend the fish of the day, it was incredibly fresh, cooked simply so you can taste the fish as it is. Wines are great with a more than generous pour each time for wines by the cup. I highly recommend this place, its a simple place that serves quality.

Amazing Dinner... the food is extrodinary good. You can find fresh fish (fish of the day) grilled in an amazing way. The shrimps with garlic are delicious and the suggestion of wines that was given for the food was really impressive. The desserts were also very tasteful. All these mentioned above came out to an unexpected great dinner where the price at the end was really good and worth.

Von Außen sehr unscheinbar wirkendes Restaurant, welches etwas abseits vom großem Trubel liegt. Allerdings trübt der Schein, denn das Essen ist außergewöhnlich gut. Hinzu kommen die angemessenen Preise und der zurückhaltend-gastfreundliche Service (leckeren Portwein gab’s gleich zwei Mal aufs Haus). Wer ein authentisch portugiesisches, aber auf keinen Fall touristisches Abendessen sucht, wird hier glücklich.

So good we made a 2nd reservation! Would recommend the sharing petisco (portuguese tapas) plate between 2 people - a mix of seafood (mussels, clams and prawns), meat (chorizo, black pudding sausage, smoked ham) and vegetarian. Steak also highly recommended!!!
Such a delight; a small restaurant run by a charming husband (front of house) and wife (chef) team. Relaxed atmosphere, great food and wine. Frequented by tourists but has an authentic feel to it all the same. Leonard Cohen singing in the background lends to the intimate feel of this hidden gem.
A must if you are visiting Lisbon - you will not regret it!!

Sehr hübsches kleines Lokal mit super Küche, der Fisch, die Muscheln und alles dazu war sehr lecker gekocht. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich und begrüsste uns mit einem Moscatel und zur Rechnung gab es einen Mandellikör...dieses Lokal ist ein kleiner Geheimtipp...reservieren ist von Vorteil!

True hospitality in an unpretentious environment. My parents and I dined at Invicta Madragoa on a weekday evening and I was happy to find a small, cozy, and intimate atmosphere with seating for about 20. I believe Nick Cave (?) was playing quietly on the speakers which added texture to the experience. I don’t remember the last time I’ve taken so much pleasure in taking a meal. This is one the best I’ve had in all the 80 countries my family has traveled. The owner/server started us off with a complementary glass each of Muscatel do Duero which tasted to me like peaches, sunshine, and never-ending summer evenings. At our table, he grated a large Himalayan salt rock into olive oil, accompanied by bread. I love the nuanced flavor of different types of salts so this seemingly small gesture was lovely. When we expressed interest in a bottle of red, he asked about my preferences. Although I stumbled over my words, he brought over a delicious bottle of earthy red so perfect it made me think “telepathic intuitive mind reader.” We ordered sea bass the fish of the day, tiger prawns, mussels, Portuguese sausage, a desert cake which was a bit like bread pudding (my favorite), and coffee to end our meal. Every dish was presented beautifully and there are no words to do justice to the seafood here. Delicious, fresh, and simply cooked with love in a way that demands your respect for the ocean with every bite. Of course the food is nothing without the service - the owner/server is careful, kind, and seems to genuinely take pride in his craft and care for his patrons. When we stepped outside to leave, he met us on the street and asked how we enjoyed it. The remarkable service here, to me, is what really distinguishes one restaurant from another. You can’t fake good energy, class, or a genuine love for what you do. I hope to return before we leave Lisbon.

Fast wären wir vorbeigelaufen, schnell übersieht man den kleinen Eingang. Und das wäre schade gewesen, denn die Küche ist großartig, besonders in Sachen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte. Auch die Weine waren ausgezeichnet. Richtig stimmig war es durch die freundliche Art unseres Gastgebers. Klar, dass wir noch mal hingegangen sind! Kurios: Die in alle Ritzen und Vorsprünge gedrückten Münzen an der Wand - mal was anderes, als sie in irgendwelche Brunnen zu werfen.

My wife and I went at the recommendation of our B&B owner and it was excellent. Very cozy, as in only 20 seats in the whole place. We were lucky someone didn't show up for their reservation so we were seated. When seated we got a complimentary apertivo while we looked at the menu. We ordered the tasting menu which was 45 euro for 2 people and a bottle of wine for 15 euro. Seven dishes came out starting with a sausage board, ... I wont spoil the surprise for you but it was all superb and followed up with a free digestivo of an almond liquor. So good that we made a reservation for the next night, our last night in the city. Very nice waiter and perfect timing on the food delivery. GO THERE!

Hidden Gem - One of the best restaurants not only in Lisbon but in Europe. I’ve lived in London the past several years and have been to many Michelin star food there, in Paris, NY Dubai and this is on par with the flavours, quality of the fish, and experiences you would receive and yet it is very affordable.
I went multiple times while staying in Lisbon and it was wonderful every time. I highly recommend you get the sample platter between you all and just enjoy the entire menu they bring.
Truly a hidden gem, wonderful food, wine, and ambiance and at a very affordable price. 100% a must visit.

Das beste Essen nach einer Woche Portugal! Hatten das Menü für 2 Personen für 35€. Tolle Auswahl an kleinen Speisen, von Käse (Kuh, Ziege, geschmolzen) , regionaler Wurst, Omelett, 2 verschieden super leckere frische Muschelteller und exzellenten Riesengarnelen. Alles war reichlich und man wird definitiv satt! Das Zitronentörtchen als Nachtisch war auch super lecker. Der Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam, Ambienete war super und der regionale Wein sehr lecker! Wir kommen definitiv nochmal!

Wonderful experience. We struggled in Lisbon to find restaurants that catered for vegetarians and non vegetarians but this place was perfect. Meat/seafood and pasta were amazing, as were the wine and dessert. Prices were very reasonable, and the complimentary port/grappa added the perfect finishing touch.

One of our best diner in Lisbon. The fresh fish was just perfectly cooked, and the octopus was so delicious in traditional way. A shot of Porto to start and finish with another shot of Portuguese “redbull” which is truly strong but tasty. Nice owner and a lovely family restaurant!

Our two best meals in Portugal were at this small family restaurant. The quality of the food and hospitality is exceptional. The host is very friendly and generous - each meal begins with a small muscatel and ends with a grappa- both complimentary. The menu is mostly traditional Portuguese dishes but the quality of the cooking and the fresh local ingredients, along with the modern presentation of the food made our meals here stand out. With quality wine by the glass, very reasonable prices and Leonard Cohen in the background it is a great value night out. Madragoa is also a great neighbourhood so seeking this restaurant out is well worth the effort.

This is a small and cozy restaurant in the Madragoa neighborhood of Lisbon. The food is Portuguese with the special interpretation of the owner. It was very good. The owner was also our server. We were served complimentary aperitif and digestif, and I think the owner made the digestif in house. Very nice people too!

Niewielka, przytulna restauracja z całkiem bogatym wyborem potraw jak na wielkość lokalu. Można tutaj wybrać zarówno dania z ryb i owoców morza jak i dania mięsne.
My skupiliśmy się na rybach i owocach morza i trzeba przyznać że każde danie było pyszne. Odwiedziliśmy tę restaurację 3 razy podczas naszego tygodniowego pobytu w Lizbonie, 5 osób. Na uwagę zasługuje osoba kelnera. Bardzo miły pan który zawsze służył radą które wino wybrać. Obsługa była na najwyższym poziomie.
Przepyszne potrawy i przemiła atmosfera, chętnie tam powrócimy.

Dit restaurantje kwam toevallig op ons pad en het was een verrukkelijke plek om onze vakantie in stijl af te sluiten. Het is een knusse plek, met oog voor detail en veel smaak. De eigenaar is uitermate vriendelijk en zijn kennis van eten en wijn is indrukwekkend. Over bijna elk ingrediënt heeft ie een verhaal te vertellen! Het is een walhalla voor goede vis- en zeevruchtengerechten. We werden verwelkomd met een heerlijk apperitiefje en uitgezwaaid met een stevige afzakkertje. Een verrukkelijke beleving voor minder dan 50euro. Wij komen terug!!

Lovely little place with the nicest owner. Two free drinks! The fresh fish is absolutely awesome. I definitely also recommend the deserts, had yummy caramel salt cheesecake. Great place to visit and supporting the local community. All reasons that'll make you come back multiple times, even on a short stay.
The owner can and should charge a little extra. It will go from super cheap to cheap and will get the owner what it at least deserves.

Das Restaurant ist fast immer voll. Es sollte zuvor angerufen oder gleich für die nächsten Tage ein Tisch reserviert werden.
Zur Begrüßung und nach dem Essen gab es einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Die Wartezeit aufs Essen verging bei dem guten Wein sehr schnell. Das Essen war schlicht, aber hervorragend :)

Super vriendelijke ober en echt hart voor de service en de zaak.
Het is eten is heerlijk, smaakvol en een smaakexplosie in je mond.
Het is klein maar gezellig.
Leuk detail er zitten allerlei valuta in de muren!
Meer gespecialiseerd in vis maar mijn vriend had de steak en die was precies goed.
Lekkere wijn (veel opties) en heel open ontvangen.
Zeker een aanrader als je rustig romantisch wilt dineren.
Alleen wel contant betalen.

We celebrated my husband’s bday there. Overall the experience it was really nice. The owner/ server welcomed us with a free aperitif and also a digestive (ginjinha, cherry liqueur) after dinner. The food it’s delicious really fresh and good prices compared with other restaurant in Lisbon. We asked for the wine menu and he said that he would recommend a wine pairing depending on what we would order. The bottle he brought, was really nice and it cost only $11 euros . The place is really small and service can be slow but worth the wait. 100% recommended. Thank you so much for having us, definitely we’ll come back. Love Lisbon.

We were there yesterday and food was fantastic. We were clearly tourists and the Mister (forgot to ask for his name) made us feel at home. Place was small but cozy. It was the best meal in Lisbon. We were so in love with the seafood rice stew that we might have scared a few people around us with our enthusiasm :) I highly recommend.

Das chaotischsten Restaurant, das ich je erlebt habe.
Über die Qualität des Essens kann ich leider nichts sagen, da wir nach 1 Stunde wieder gegangen sind.
Bis dahin gab es weder etwas zu trinken, noch wurden wir nach unseren Essenswünschen gefragt.
The most chaotic restaurant I have ever seen. I can‘t comment on the quality of the food because we left after one hour waiting without getting drinks or even being asked for what we would like to eat.

Einfach Klasse! Alles hat gepasst: Der Kellner/Besitzer hat super Service geleistet, der Wein war gut, die Fischgerichte waren sehr lecker und das Ambiente in diesem doch sehr kleinen Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich!

We had a lovely meal here on Sunday night. The host was really attentive and professional and the food was excellent. We had the mussels and the sautéed mushrooms and both were fantastic. The price was so reasonable for great quality food. Lovely atmosphere too!

Really lovely wine, we asked for a sweet white and the waiter knew what to bring us . The food was also on point, bread and starters great. The steak was the best. Only minus the wine didnt have a cooler, no napkins. Otherwise lovely 10/10 would recommend

Una experiencia absolutamente excelente. Para empezar es sitio es acogedor. Muy muy pequeño, para unos 15-20 comensales máximo. El camarero que nos atendió fue especialmente amable y atento. Bebimos una botella de vino verde buenísimo y agua, y comimos mejillones y un guiso de pescado y marisco, junto con pan con aceite. Todo estaba excelente, muy sabroso y de calidad. Rematamos con un postre casero y chupito. Un sitio que no te puedes perder si buscas buena comida portuguesa. El único pero es que no se puede pagar con tarjeta, solo efectivo, pero no empaña en absoluto la experiencia que fue magnífica.

A solid 4.5; a very charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of local bites. Our favorite was the fish. The salad a bit salty and the chips a bit limp; stick with the sea food and you’re golden.

We really enjoyed our stay there! A non-touristic cozy location, combined with a welcoming host and fresh tasting seafood - what else do you need? We're not really wine drinkers so we can't rate that, but it looked like there is a lot of different wine available and the host seems happy to recommend something!

Es un restaurante excelente. La comida estaba buenísima con una atención excelente. Un local muy pequeñito, pero con encanto. La relación calidad precio es muy buena, sobre unos 25€ por persona, comiendo cantidad y con vino y postres. Que por cierto, hay que probar los postres, deliciosos. Muy recomendable. Por poner una pega, que no aceptan tarjeta de crédito, pero como he dicho, un sitio muy recomendable.

Sehr lecker und auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert. Nach dem ersten Besuch mit dem Tages Fisch Lachs und Meeresfrüchte linguine reservierten wir für den nächsten Abend einen Tisch mit octopus. Der genauso köstlich war. Evtl vorher reservieren sonst könnte man evtl Pech haben wenn nix mehr frei ist.

Magiskt god kväll! Firade vår 30-års dag! Hade höga förväntningar och allting infriades. Hade bokat bord 1 vecka innan till klo 20; inte många som äter den tiden i Portugal....MEN .....Supertrevligt bemötande samt oerhört god mat. Som sagt magiskt god kväll.

Ein kleines aber sehr feines Lokal. Wenn man nicht gezielt dort hin will kann man es leicht übersehen. Aber dadurch würde man definitiv was verpassen. Es gibt nur wenig Plätze. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Das erste Lokal in Porto und Lissabon,bei dem wir nicht das Gefühl hatten nachsalzen zu müssen. Die Muscheln, der Oktopus und der Red Snapper waren sehr lecker und optisch schön angerichtet. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Eine Besonderheit waren die vielen Münzen in den Steinwänden im ganzen Lokal. Wir denken das soll Glück bringen und haben auch zwei Münzen dazu gestellt. Uneingeschränkte 5 Punkte. Danke für das leckere Essen.

In March this was our first stop in Lisboa, and we walked in completely by chance. And boy, did we enjoy this chance-taking! The amazing and sweet staff, the lovely octopus and ossobucco. We will be back whenever we visit Lisboa again!

Les poissons du jour sont bons, mais certains produits sont surgelés, contrairement à ce que le serveur nous avait indiqué au moment de la commande (ne prenez surtout pas les gambas). Overrated comparé à d’autres restaurants de Lisbonne.

Das Restaurant ist völlig überbewertet. Der Chef ist sehr nett, die Qualität des Essens aber entspricht den Erwartungen nicht. Sehr schade! Ich habe den Pulpo bestellt. Das Gericht hat super lecker ausgesehen, war aber zu salzig gewürzt und das Pulpofleisch war sehr zäh und gummig. Ein 2. Mal komme ich hierher nicht. Es gibt in der Umgebung mehrere schönen und kleinen Lokale, wo kann man das Essen in vollen Zügen genissen.

Friendly, but rather slow service, in the end we waited half an hour for our plates to be taken and the waiters seemed too busy to notice. Food was good and potatoes were included in the price, and there was plenty, but some were still raw. Since we got our stomachs full anyway, didn't complain.

We highly recommend this restaurant both on the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the server whom I think is also the owner. We went twice it was so good even though there are many good restaurants in Lisbon. This stands out above the rest. Over two nights we had the Dorado, Seabass, and snapper. All three were grilled perfectly and among the best I have ever had. We began with a complementary muscatel each evening. One evening he also brought a complementary grappa to finish the evening. Bread, vegetables, and new potatoes were complementary with the fish. We had a very nice wine from Douro. They also have a slightly spicy chocolate mousse dessert (I am not sure the exact name) that we both had. I believe the total bill for two people with world class grilled fish, wine, and desserts was about €50, keeping in mind that a beginning drink, ending drink, and bread were all complementary.

The best restaurant to find a truly authentic experience with all the flavours Portugal can offer. A very small place with about 20 seats. Prices can not keep up with the wonderful food! I would have paid way more for what I was served. Service was great, I can recommend the surprise meal where the chef chooses what to serve in small portions but trust me you won't leave hungry! I will come back next time! That's for sure.

Das beste Essen das wir hier in Lissabon geniessen durften. Ein kleines Restaurant mit 20 Plätzen ermöglicht direkten Austausch mit dem Service und gute Beratung. Hervorragende Speisen, das Überraschungsmenü ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Der Wein einfach lecker. Wir waren begeistert. Für die Qualität fast schon zu günstig! Es ist nicht durch Touristen überlagert, ein authentisch portugiesisches Restaurant bietet Gemütlichkeit und Genuss pur.

Hands down the best food and the nicest owners/staff I've ever encountered in any city around the world. You feel welcome from the moment you enter and the meals and wine selection is just fantastic and makes you never want to leave! Almost all of the dishes on the menu is daily fresh from portugal and the owners passion for local cuisine really shines through. They'll happily tell you the backstory of everything they serve if you want and it makes the experience even better! A place to visit more than once, can't recommend it enough!

Probably one of the best resturaunts I've been to, in the world let alone in Lisbon, not just with the food but also passion and hospitality. The menu is just the right size and selection and is everything you could dream of when it comes to hearty, homecooked food. It's the heavenly dream of any hungry pescatarian.
The experience is perfected by a beautiful, cozy setting tucked away in Madragoa, and the empassioned and fascinating conversations with Antonio on wines and food from allover Portugal leaves you feeling humbled by their pure love of what they do. Their knowledge of food and drink is only surpassed by the clear pride in what Portugal has to offer the world and for that, I am truly in awe of.
This isn't just a resturaunt, it's like walking into a family get together at Christmas or Midsummer. The wonderful, kind and ultimately talented couple that run Invicta are the best friends everyone should hope for.
Thank you both for making our stay in Lisbon 100% more special than we could ever have hoped for. This resturaunt is the main reason I plan on returning to Portugal as soon as I can. <3

Fantastic dinner. Our waiter suggested the chef choice option with sausage platter and 5 items. He was also extremely patient with us recommending the right wine for our meal. We finished every bite (too good to leave any to waste) and left very happy and quite full. Lovely, cozy restaurant with fantastic food and great service!

Espaço pequeno, quase esconso, com ambiente acolhedor. Atendimento simpático. Vamos então à dança. Entrada pujante, com uma tábua de enchidos despertadora dos sentidos. De seguida, um queijo com mel, pintura rústica de pastel. Eis a farinheira com ovos, o tradicional mas com travos novos. Três amigos bem juntos (cogumelos, bacon e mozzarela), fazem um dos mais belos conjuntos. Berbigão à bulhão pato, saboroso e simples, novidade para o palato. Finalmente o camarão, que deixou boa sensação. Mesmo no final, sobremesa do Norte, quase divinal. Eis a crónica singela de uma sexta-feira bela. Uma sinfonia em 7 movimentos. Corram para lá, se estiveram atentos.

What a wonderful find! A very friendly and warm welcome, peaceful and cosy ambience, delicious food and excellent value. We had the €15 option with five different dishes (plus extra options for me as a veggie) and we were pleasantly stuffed. The wine went beautifully with the dishes too.

What a treat this place was. One of the most fun dining experiences we've had in a while. It's a small restaurant with just a few tables and a lovely, romantic atmosphere. They offered a special where you received a sausage platter plus five tapas for 15 euro per person, which was incredible value. The special is chef's choice, so we didn't know what food they'd bring out, and each dish was a surprise and delight. The selection of sausages to start was particularly incredible. The service was top notch, with port wines offered at the start and finish of the meal. Would highly recommend!

We found this lovely place when we passed by!
And it was absolutely amazing to summarize it quickly - and really everything was amazing!
We decided to take the chefs recommendation of 5 different tapas! The owner himself is serving you and you can feel he really puts his heart into that restaurant!
He had some nice portwine to start with and also great wine recommendations!
The food was really delicious and is made by his wife.
Because we liked this place that much we ordered another bottle of wine after dinner.
If you are looking for a cozy, small place where you can enjoy your dinner in a nice atmosphere, with great food, great wines and for a fair price with a nice host - this is the place!
