Alt for mange kelnere. Dårlig organisert. Den ene visste ikke hva den andre gjorde. Måtte be om å få fordrikkene vi hadde bestilt. Fiskerett var god, men and er ikke å anbefale. Fikk ikke all vinen vi hadde igjen på vår flaske. Den stod på et eget bord. Ikke verdt pengene.

Visited twice this week. The food & menu are exceptional with attention to detail impressive. The friendly, efficient and knowledgable staff create the perfect experience. The wine list is as tempting as the views across the bay. There is a touch of class here without being stuffy. Leave room for a dessert - they are amazing and thankfully just the right size. Two great evenings from steak to sea bass.

Acolhedor, simpatia na recepção e atendimento. Serviço cuidado e confecção irrepreensível. Uma vista maravilhosa para o mar, Baía de Cascais e Praia do Tamariz.
O Atum de excelente qualidade bem como as sobremesas. Não é barato mas, porque a qualidade é elevada, fica equilibrada a relação qualidade preço. Gostei e tenciono voltar.

We went there at Atlantico at lunch time, the view is amazing but the service was really slow, I felt the lunch expensive and disapoiting for the service delivered. I myself requested the help of the manager after a long initial wait without any drinks. It is just a shame that such an amazing spot delivers such a terrible service. I highly recommend the Restaurant to add more staff to the team. We would love to go more but now I am afraid to go back. What shall we do?

Serviço excelente! Estive no restaurate no dia do casamento da minha irmã e adorei o serviço, a simpatia de todos, especialmente do Filipe e adorei o conceito do chefe, que promove o comércio local e sustentável e tem ousadia para experimentar pratos novos e diferentes!

Muito sinceramente o espaço começou por ser uma decepção, já que pedimos diferentes pratos de marisco e ficaram todos muito aquém do expectável, muito mais num local cujo mar é referência, no entanto os pratos principais vieram corrigir as falhas dos mariscos, sem sombra de dúvida pratos de excelência a todos os níveis, as sobremesas vieram acabar com as dúvidas que ainda existissem relativamente a qualidade do espaço. Espero que o que aconteceu com o nosso grupo nos mariscos tenha sido um mero azar da nossa parte

Nice location, but for the Michelin star it lacks creativity and positive surprises. Service courteous, but without the typical local smile and warmth. If you only have time for one of the Michelins, head to Fortaleza do Guincho.

Food was excellent, but incredibly expensive for what it is. The view was amazing, but would recommend booking for a window seat. Staff were polite, but didnt seem friendly and constantly trying to upsell.

Começando com a funcionária Joana Rodrigues, a mais atenta e ainda entra nas brincadeirinhas com os clientes (todo o staff foi espectacular, atenção, mas a Joana foi extremamente atenciosa, prestável, simpática e sempre com um sorriso!
A comida:
O amuse-bouche do chefe foi qualquer coisa do outro mundo! Tinha uma mousse de queijo, uma coisa de beterraba (nao sei bem o quê), caviar, um pedaço de uva e um pedaço de pêra... Maravilhoso!!!
Para entrada escolhi as vieiras em cama de cogumelos à Brás - optimo! Tudo! Texturas e sabores, assim como temperatura! Perfeito!
Para prato principal pedi a carbonara com ovos biológicos e queijo da Ilha. Estranhamente, este queijo não combina aqui muito bem. Ficou (nao sei bem como) com pouco sal mas um sabor a queijo da ilha muito punjente sem ter o salgadinho (eu nem como a comida com muito sal mas ali fazia falta mais um pouco). O meu namorado pediu a vitela grelhada e foi muuuito bom!
Sobremesa pedi o ninho de chocolate! Muito bom mas muito para uma pessoa. Dividam e é optimo!
5* para todo o staff de sala e cozinha! Parabéns!

Consigliato dallo staff dell'hotel InterContinental ho cenato in questo ristorante adiacente la struttura alberghiera, in giornata mi sono documentato su questo chef, Miguel Laffan, enfant prodige della zona è nato a Cascais ed ha già preso e poi perso e poi ripreso la tanto agognata stella.
Alcune esperienze in Francia in locali anche bistellati, ma ne esco molto deluso, una cena senza arte né parte, con materie prime nella norma ed un baccalà insipido e di scarsa qualità.

Great views but food was not exciting and we were very surprised to see that there are no options to bring back the food that is left.
This meant wasted food (zero social responsibility) and us skipping dessert because we were too full (so on top of everything else, it was not business smart). Overall it was overpriced for the service. What a shame. With the killer view we would otherwise be happy to come back!

This place is a solid 4, very predictable, no surprises.
The food was reasonably good, service staff were attentive, environment was comfortable, however for restaurant in this price range (~75€pp) I would have wanted a little bit more personality in the atmosphere.
Also, their Christmas background music playlist is annoyingly short, we spent maybe 2 hours in the restaurant, and the music looped over more than 5 times while we were there.

Whoever gave this place a 5 stars doesn’t know good seafood. Way Overpriced and not fresh. We came for Christmas so Maybe no one is cooking on Christmas but the food fell wayyy short of expectation considering the famous chef. First half of the main entry was not available so we couldn’t order steak or duck. Then the octopus is a bit salty and seafood pasta had no seafood for 22euro lol. The red wine was the good thing ab this place. For 120 euros I could’ve had a great omakase at Sushi Yasuda or a great dinner for 3 at Boqueria in NYC

O restaurante possui uma vista belíssima, com um ambiente agradável, um lugar perfeito para grupos ou uma noite informal de encontros com amigos (foi o caso). Para entrada pedimos vieiras, que estavam deliciosas e macias. O prato principal foi pato, mas quem roubou a cena foi o acompanhamento do pato, o risotto de foie gras. Estava simplesmente sensacional, bem equilibrado e foi o match mais que perfeito com o toque cítrico. Do chef. De sobremesa, pedimos o creme brûlée de maracujá. Estava tudo muito bom. Um restaurante a não perder!

Considering the value, we give it 3 stars. We were disapointed by the experience overall. Portugal has fresh seafood and amazing restaurants so we had high expectations, but they fell short at Atlantico.
We ordered shrimp for appetizer and it came with 6 shrimp for 16 euros.
For the main I ordered the Sea bass with vegetables, and my boyfriend ordered the Hake filet with seafood rice. My fish was raw in the middle, and when it was sent back it was removed from our bill and Miguel came out to apologize which was nice. The hake was average, but as my boyfriend said "my avó makes it better".
For dessert we ordered raspberry texture, creme brulee and chocolate nest. I love desserts and I found these to be overcomplicated. The presentation was great but did not wow me in flavors. For example, the creme brulee came with passion fruit which overpowered the creme brulee and the creme brulee didnt even nail down its crunchy top. Disapointing.
Nothing we ordered stood out to us to go back again. Especially at the price pointed it is at.

One of the most fantastic meals that I have ever had! I had the tuna tartar, followed by the tuna from the Azores, and finished up with the chocolate nest. Our server, Telmo Santos, was very informative and recommended 2 different Portuguese white wines for our meal. The server in Training, Joanna Morris, did a fantastic job serving bread, pouring wine, and presenting a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back!

Delicious food and very friendly service! We had the tum yum soup, shrimp with garlic and for dessert the raspberry and pistachio texture and chevre mousse with honey and lavender. All were very tasty and well presented!

Came here for a beautiful lunch; the starter of Pumpkin and Cashew soup was presented very well, nice flavour and all round appetizing!
The main of beet croutete with baked potatoes and peppers was amazing; seered steak, salted brilliantly and contrasted with peppers very well!
Oh and to top off, amazing service! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal!

What a view! Absolutely unbeatable. Extraordinary service, great atmosphere, fabulous food and wizard barmen. A must visit for anybody visiting Estoril. Any time is fantastic, bit if you come here just before sunset, you'll be rewarded with a view you will not forget soon.

Great Atlantic views as the name implies but does not deliver an experienced anywhere close to the price. Staff very friendly but poorly trained and food and wines are simply too expensive for what you get. Ideally suited to foreigners or those using an expense account. Many better options all along the coast.

The place is nicely situated with stunning view. Some very negative review of 2017 followed.
I was convinced to reconsider my “never again” of the last year: the offer is better, the quality of the meals, too. The cooking is more international than Portuguese but this is acceptable in the Intercontinental hotel. Excellent cocktails.

This restaurant is built around the view of the Atlantic Ocean. It oozes class and style with the understated décor to the surroundings. There is something for everyone at Atlantico. They describe it as a gastronomic experience, so to say that my friend and I were excited is an understatement.
Already sat on the table were some tasty morsels - the bread Selection with homemade butters, tuna pâté, crab pâté and cheese that was marinated in olive oil and paprika. This was a charming start to the meal and experience. We quickly followed it with starters of roasted scallops with sweet potato purée and bacon and garlic Shrimp and green wine sauce.
Our excellent waiter recommended the veal entrecote with onion purée and the whole grilled seabass for main course and we went with his recommendation. He certainly knows what he is talking about. Lesson learned - listen to your waiter!
Making room for dessert is a speciality that my friend and I have mastered over the years. This time we made room for Cheesecake with Passion Fruit Coulis, Dark Chocolate Dome, Caramel and Cherry Ice Cream and Sardine Ice cream. Not our usual trio but tasted great.
All the while, we watched the beauty of the ocean from our elevated view. It was an amazing way to spend a lunch. Highly recommended for anyone at any time. Take a short train ride to get your fix of great food and stunning views in Estoril at Atlantico next time you are in Lisbon.

The food was delicious. We started with the clams to share and the sauce, soaked up with the excellent and freshly baked breads were extraordinary (it came with three superb butters: a chorizo - sausage - a garlic and an onion butter were so good we could have made a meal out of the clams, sauce, bread and butter.) Our waiter, Phillipe, suggested two of the house specials and on his recommendation we ordered. Sea bass for my wife while I went with the grouper. The presentation was elegant, but the taste is what we were there for. We shared and were both surprised at just how good each dish was. Often, restaurants that have a spectacular setting (we dined outside at sunset, overlooking the magnificent boardwalk at Monte Estoril and steps from the Atlantic Ocean) don't have to try very hard with the food. The Atlântico Bar & Restaurante is an exception, with exceptionally great food. We shall return and bring friends.

Accueil très limite, on vous laisse planté en plein milieu du restaurant sans rien vous dire alors que tous les serveurs vous regardent. Vraiment nul cette attitude.
Le service se veut de haut standing mais on en est très loin. On va plutôt dire un service débutant.
Le cadre est sympa. La vue, juste ridicule. Pour la terrasse dommage que l'on soit à 50 metres d'une gare et que le train passe toute les 30min. Mise à disposition d'un plaid, c'est sympa.
Le risotto est terrible. Le poisson grillé très correct. Nous avons, soit disant, les recommandations que font les serveurs donc très prometteur, un peu dessus. Les desserts sont très travaillés et c'est fortement appréciable, mais le gâteau au chocolat très sec.
Le coca est en 20 cl, nous n'avons pas vu cette information sur la à carte et avec le nombre de restaurant que l'on a fait, c'est pas un standard comme dans certain pays.
65 euro pour un repas très correct, mais beaucoup de petits détails font de ce lieu un lieu moyen alors qu'il y a un énorme potentiel. A noter les pains et accompagnement amenés automatiquement sont payants au prix de 4,5 euros

An upscale bar and restaurant with fantastic view over the sea. The food was very good as was the service. We had the roasted scallops and the kadaiff shrimp as starters and they were delicious. For the main course we had the grilled octopus and the sea bass with the shrimp risotto and it was very tasty albeit not a big portion. I'd recommend this restaurant!

Be aware that they will sell you bread and butter. When you arrive they will just put it on the table, so you start to eat it, but than they will charge you seperately for the bread, butter and some other complementaries. When you will try to say that it s rediculos they will show you a "fake" menu with "prices for bread and butter" and say that it s included in the "menu". Even the serivce there is " a la carte". Shame on the managers who do not control this attitudes, taking people for stupid and think that if you speak english you are " a stupid tourist ".
We are always generous with tips and love to tip waitresses, but hate when this attitude it applied. In a 5* hotel managers should be aware to avoid those cheap policies.

While we were staying at the beautiful Hotel Intercontinental we decided to try the hotel restaurant. It was a really positive surprise. Actually we loved it. The people were friendly and the meal was amazing. All the plate are presented in a traditional way or... with a modern twist and this is working to perfection. They have a superb terrasse to enjoy the evening. They also serve delicious cocktails. It is highly recommended.

Surprised by the previous poor reviews. My wife and I had a lovely dinner this evening. The setting overlooking the Atlantic was beautiful. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Cocktails....sangria and mojito both delivered. Food wise we ordered the classic shrimp and scallop starters, and the cod and grouper for our mains... Everything was delicious. Prices seemed a touch higher than you'd expect (the wine notably) but not unfair by any means especially given the connection with the hotel next door. I would recommend.

Restaurante muito bem situado, comida correta mas, atendimento muito amador. O serviço, deixa muito a desejar e, o restaurante não estava cheio. Imagina se tivesse...
