This place was in an easily accessible location. The room was very stylish. Even though it looked out over a busy street the noise could be shut out with the excellent windows. We had a very nice stay!

Bon hôtel avec décoration simple et originale. Très propre, service simphatique. Seul point négatif c'est l'insonorisation du plafond, on entend fortement les pas de l'étage du dessus. J'étais chambre 9!

Die Lage ist top ! für eine Städtereise. Nur 5 Min. Fussweg zum Tejo und Bahnhof Cais do Sodré.15 Min. zum Praca do Comercio, wo man gut in die Touri-Busse und Strassenbahn z.B. in Richtung Castelo de S. Jorge einsteigen kann. Modern renoviert. Schöndes Bad. Für Leichtschläfer ein Zimmer zum Hof anfragen. Man hat dann zwar keine Aussicht mehr (Hofschacht), aber seine Ruhe. Das war es mir wert. Leider wurde wochentags in der gegenüberliegenden Wohnung gerade renoviert.Minuspunkt: kein Kleiderschrank oder Regal für Kleidung und Koffer, nur 1 Stuhl, kein Kühlschrank (im Sommer wichtig!)

Das Konzept ohne Rezeption ist klasse. Man spart sich das nervige Ein- und Auschecken. Statt einer Karte hat man einfach einen Pincode um in das Gebäude und in das Zimmer zu geraten. Genial einfach. Kann ich ganz klar weiter empfehlen.

First thanks to the host for allowing us to check in hours earlier. GOOD: location was ok; clean facility, quiet building, energy efficient environmental friendly, bathroom has ventilation, internet was sufficient and fast; shower head was large and awesome; bed was very comfy; plenty of American English TV show options; great window balcony view; bottled water was available free which was VERY VERY WELCOMING CONSIDERING IT WAS VERY HARD to get water in Lisbon. BAD: Door has no private lock so anyone who has knowledge of my door password can come in anytime and I have no way of preventing that from happening; there is no cold AC in the unit so when it gets hot open the window; only one electrical outlet in the unit which gets pretty ugly when everybody wants to use it (using an octopus was handy); door has no peeping hole for security; the walk to this place was uphill and was so hard to walk at; no fridge at the facility With all things considered I will stay here again.

A very nice clean place to stay if you're ever in Lisbon. It felt like a quaint little condo. The location is fantastic...very close to all the prime areas as well as the metro (maybe 5 minute walk?). There is no one to check you in and out. They will email you an entry code a day or two before your arrival. This unlocks the main door as well as door to your room. No keys required! There is also a locker area where you can put your baggage in case you arrive too early and your room isn't ready yet. They also give you free bottles of water which is great since water seems to be a precious commodity in the EU. The hosts are available next door as well if you have questions. However, I think the room needed more electrical outlets. I only saw 1 near the tv and 1 in the bathroom. Also, the temperature seemed difficult to regulate. We tried to turn on the fan or AC since it was hot but it seemed to only blow out hot air. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would book here again.

Nice hotel in a great location. Very close to the metro. The place was very clean and homey. They no person check in and out was very convenient. They will provide you with access codes to enter the msin door and your room. Free bottles of water also provided. However, needs more electrical outlets and was lacking ability to regulate the room tempetature. Overall, a great stay. Highly recommended

Unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Die angetroffene Betreuung war sehr nett und kompetent.Im Hotel gibt es alles was benötigt wird. Etwas sparsame Ausstattung.Leider ohne Frühstück, aber da findet man im näheren Umkreis einige Möglichkeiten. Nachts natürlich sehr laut da direkt an der Straße und im Ausgehviertel.

Hotel sauber, ordentlich und kreativ eingerichtet; Gute Lage; Familienzimmer hat aber nur 1 Fenster zum düsteren Mini-Lichthof. Das Fenster könnte man zwar öffnen, aber dann kommt heisze Luft und Lärm herein, weil Klimageräte im Lichthof montiert sind. Das Kinderzimmer hat gar kein Fenster!

Great place for a families. Had a small kitchen and the bunk beds were ideal for two to three children. The hotel was clean and everything needed was provided. Close to the market.

We stayed in room #9 and it was as very quiet location considering it’s on one of the main street in Lisbon. The host was very helpful and sent us a detailed parking map when I was concerned about parking our rental. The room and bathroom were immaculate when first arriving. Walking distance to almost everything.

The entrance could do with some lighting and a repaint - we didn't realise where the door was because it's covered in bad graffiti, and it gives quite a bad impression when arriving late at night. Apart from that, once we got inside we had a lovely time, comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

Das Hotel ist mitten in der Altstadt von Lisbon gelegen und somit perfekt für eine Stadtreise. Es ist simpel und jedoch dekorativ eingerichtet. Das fehlende Frühstücksbuffet zwingt einem den Morgenkaffee in einem der umliegendend Cafés einzunehmen und somit am Leben der Stadt früh am Morgen teilzunehmen.

No elevator is a negative, but many other positives such as room condition, location, locker storage, etc . offset this situaion.

Hall Chiado is on a busy street - despite the iOS, after about 9pm, it was so quiet in the room which faced the street. The area is very convenient to anywhere in Lisbon by walking or public transport. My room was exceptionally clean with comfortable bed and plenty of light. The only drawback is that the staff (who are very helpful and charming) are not on site until he afternoon. There is no front desk - check-in and access to the room are by electronic keyboard. The front door is hard to find as odd and even numbers on each side of the street don’t necessarily match! The dark green door looked grungy with graffiti.

It is more than a hotel. New refurbished interior with code to open gate and door. You dont have to carry keys to go out. Love the design and decor

This hotel is in a convenient location but a few takers from my stay: safe box did not work and since they dont have a front desk/reception I didn’t bother contacting anyone, there was an odd rolling table that had no purpose... I rolled it near the kitchen but took a lot of apace, they have a mini kitchen with no coffee maker but there are coffee mugs, the bathroom had a bit of mold near the sink and there was barely toilet paper. The rest of the room seemed clean as well as the hallways/entrance. Also its a bit slippery when you walk out/in and the doors have graffiti. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Los apartamentos están muy bien. Todo está muy nuevo. La pega en Nuestra habitación no tenía a penas ventilación. Solo una ventana. Tampoco tiene armarios y esto es una faena. Dispone de una cocina con microondas y placa. No tiene lavadora ni tostadora. Pero está limpito y cuidado.

This place is wonderful! At first I was a little leery of the check-in process since there is no front desk. However, as long as you read the emails and follow the directions it is a piece of cake! The rooms are sparkling clean, contemporary, and comfortable. The neighborhood is extremely safe and close to everything. You can park your car and walk everywhere. When in Lisbon, this will be the only place I will stay from here on out!

Fantastic location and great size! We loved our stay here as it had a little kitchenette. We would stay here again when we come back to Lisbon.

The room was so clean, we were 5 minutes walk from the river and 10 minutes maximum from the main square. It was very cosy and the owners and so very helpful. I could not fault our stay. There is also a place to store your luggage during the day after checkout so you don’t have to lug around bags whilst you enjoy your last day in Lisbon.

Great hotel room with a small kitchen and super nice large bathroom! I just wish it had a small coffee machine. Overall it was great! We didn’t get a street view but the hotel was perfectly located. Will stay here again.

Jai résidé 3 nuits dans cet appartement disposant de 1 chambre fermée (3 lits simples dont 2 superposés). Le lit double est située à coté de la cuisine petite et fonctionnelle. Il ny a pas de divan. La salle de bain est rénovée et dispose dune grande douche. Le ménage est fait à tous les jours. Situé à 3-4 minutes du métro et du timeout market. Excellent choix

Easy enough to find and very central for all the tourist trap areas and night life. Pink street is seconds down the road which is unfortunate becuase from Thursday into the weekend the noise from party goers going home from 2am onwards is very noticeable, with the nightlife ending at 8am it doesnt make for the greatest night sleep. Fab location if youre planning to attend the parties though!Didnt meet the owners and pretty much left to our own devices which was fine but local info and contact numbers would be useful inside the room vs in the entrance hall for all the guests to share. Did appreciate the daily top up of water bottles and wifi worked well. Room looks good and rainfall shower is lovely, though would suggest using own shower gels vs the ones provided. TV also has quite a few english channels, which is needed to for rest after walking 10+miles a day up hills!Cleanliness has been marked down as the floors are definitely not cleaned, found someone elses money under the bed (good and bad!) alongside a lot of dust and after spending one day down the beach we continued to find sand everywhere for the duration of our stay so the housekeeping each day is just to make the bed alone it seems. Disappointing for the money and wouldnt stay again purely for the cleaniliness factor, a possible suggestion that if floors arent being cleaned regularly maybe dont use white bedding as would be a lot less noticeable.

Great location, excellent rooms and very clean. Pretty much an apartment which suited us perfectly. Plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops close by and a supermarket 1 minute up the road.

Check in was very easy. The property was in a Great location, close to eveything. It was very clean, water pressure was good and the beds and linens were comfy. It was small, but had eveything needed, small fridge, microwave, perfect for my family of 5 with the room with three bunk beds and the double bed. The free water in the lobby was also a nice touch. I would recommend this room to my friends.

Cest un hotel un peu différent en ce sens que lon fournit une chambre impeccable mais il ny a pas de front desk permanent ni dautres prestations genre petit-déjeuner. Mais au final, ce nest pas nécessaire car il y a plein dendroits pour manger à proximité avec des recommandations dans lentrée. On entre dans lhôtel avec un code et dans la chambre également. Et ça marche très bien. Le front desk aux heures de permanence est très disponible pour aider et conseiller. La chambre était parfaite et nickel. Lhôtel est très bien situé pour sillonner dans le Chiado et le Bairro Alto. Jétais très satisfait de mon séjour de quelques jours dans cet hotel.

The staff was very friendly when we arrived and everything went smoothly during our stay. We got a large room facing the street with lots of natural light. It can get a bit noisy with the windows open, but the shutters do a good job of dampening the noise when needed. The cleanliness of the room and the room service during our stay was impeccable. We liked the fact that we had a single pin code for both the front door and the one to our room. It was nice not having to worry about bringing keys. It's located very centrally within walking distance of all the major sights in Lisbon. We couldn't have asked for a better location and can warmly recommend staying at Hall Chiado!

Great, simple family suite hotel in perfect Lisbon location in Chicago neighborhood. The second room had three bunk beds which the kids loved. The main bed is comfortable as well. The kitchenette was useful as well. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel felt more like an upscale hostel as there were only 8-10 rooms, but dont let this hold you back from coming here. It was an excellent place to stay. Great location-walking distance to metro and other great locations like Alfama and other great nightlife spots. Wifi and AC worked great. The room and bathroom were very modern and clean. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. She gave us a map and showed us all the great spots to go. I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique, comfortable and centrally located hotel. It was spotless clean, and the rooms in the back were very quiet. The reception went out of their way to help us with a cancelled flight and then to find another hotel since they were fully booked. We'll definitely be back next time we come to Lisbon!

Das Hotel Hall Chiados diente uns als perfekter Ausgangspunkt für einen Städtetrip in Lissabon. Wir haben in den 4 Tagen vor Ort fast alles zu Fuß erkundet und nur an einem Tag auf Grund starken Regnens auf den Hop on, Hop off Bus zurückgegriffen.

War leider nur für eine Nacht dort. Das Hall Chiado ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Die Lage könnte perfekter nicht sein, die Zimmer sind neu und sehr sehr sauber! Kann es nur weiterempfehlen, würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Basically everything was fine , entrance code got a day before departure . When arrived around 8:00 PM to hotel , easily opened the entrance and room doors with the same code. Room clean , not as a typical hotel room - no wardrobe , just few hangers in big ropes from ceiling . No tea , coffee making facilities ,no fridge ,no phone . Bed , pillows and towels very good quality . We had a window to street side , may be bit noisy but after long exiting day - no problems:) No floor heating in bathroom that is why floor long time wet . On the last day before departure our room was not cleaned ,probably cleaner forgot - that embittered . Hotel located in excellent area , around is a wide range of restaurants , small shops and in 400m is a cake shop with famous pastel de nata for 1EUR/pcs !!! Hotel suggest few breakfast places but in vicinity are many other small cafes with wide selection. On last day had to leave 4:40 AM to airport ,taxi was at the door in exact time . Trip to airport around 15min ,cost 15eur . On the average hotel was value for the money . Thank you :)

Clean and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again. Super easy to get the yellow bus from the airport. The stop is only 100m away. The app is very useful also.

Schönes zentrales Hotel. Das Hotel hatte keine Rezeption aber mit dem Code hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Die Zimmer waren nicht sehr hell und ein bisschen kahl aber für den Wochenendaufenthalt mehr als ausreichend.

This was simply a wonderful place run by helpful lovely people in the best possible location in Lisbon.We could walk everywhere and we loved the view. I noticed that it was surprisingly quiet given the cLocation which is central to many restaurants and the Lisbon night life - the beautiful casement windows could vBlock out everything or be opened up onto a sweet little balcony.

Da die Mail mit den Zugangsdaten im Spam gelandet war hatte wir Probleme mit dem Zugang. Unbedingt auf die beschränkte check-in Zeit achten.

Really, really loved the stay here. Want to go back. Probably cannot recommend it enough. For starters, the location is great. Lisbon does not really have a compact, well-defined city center (it’s a bit spread out), but Hall Chiado is right in the heart of the city nonetheless with a nice view of the river from the hotel balconies. The neighborhood it is in (Chiado) is also quite trendy now with tons of great restaurants & bars nearby. Recommend you try the gazpacho from Meson Anduluz (Spanish restaurant just around the corner). Also have a look at the many options in Mercado da Ribeira down the road (go for lunch; dinner can be very crowded and hard to find a seat). As far as the rooms, they are quite lovely with a simple, but stylish décor. I personally would have elected to put a few more photographs or paintings on the walls in the rooms, but this is just a matter of personal taste. In either case, the rooms are great. Not huge, but very comfortable, feeling a bit like being a guest at a friend’s home. It is also very quiet. The street the hotel is located on is quite busy with people, cars, buses and trams, but we never once had a problem with the noise in the rooms (even with the Portuguese love of honking in traffic). With the balcony doors shut, it seemed nearly sound-proof. Like the rooms, the bathroom was very nice and looked relatively new. As far as the lobby of the hotel, it is really more just the stairwell to the building (similar to the entrance to a residential apartment building). As you enter, you have the stairs in front of you with some shelves off to the side with books you can borrow (thought this was a nice touch). There are a few chairs off to the other side and a small room on the left with lockers for your luggage after check-out. Just to your right there is a medium sized office for the hotel itself. The helpful two ladies that own/run the place are there during the day, but the office is closed in the evening. In fact, the hotel does not even have a formal check-in/out process. A day or so before your arrival, the ladies will email you a 4-digit pin. You use this on the keypad outside the building and at your room to get in. I quite liked this. It was great arriving at 11:00 PM and just being able to go straight up to the room with no fuss. It also made check-out a breeze as well. The internet was very good. Was consistently getting ~25 Mbps up & down. It was summer when we were here and the A/C worked quite well. There was a small room safe, but no mini-fridge. If in Lisbon again, will definitely stay here again without a doubt (and look forward to it).

Schicke Appartments in zentraler Lage von Lissabon (zu Fuss 10 Minuten vom Praca do Comercio); sehr sauber.

Vi hade ett fint, luftigt rum med härligt ljus från ett stort fönster. Högt i tak och frisk luft. Väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma kvinnor. Nära till Metro och tågstation och till bästa pastel de nata.

The room was very good, nice atmosphere and also spacious! The location is super, very central. A lot of main attractions and cafés, shopping etc in walking distance. There is also air-con.We had a double room. As were are friends, we would have prefered two seperate beds. I think those were no longer available though. The only disadvantage was that it is very loud, at least in the rooms that face the street (like ours).

Absolut zu empfehlendes Stadthotel für einen Lissabonbesuch.Zentral gelegen, alle Innenstadtsehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß bequem erreichbar.Metro, Zug- und Straßenbahnstationen für weitere Ausflüge in unmittelbarer Nähe.Zimm,er zwar klein (kein Schrank vorhanden), aber praktisch eingerichtet und gutes Duschbad dabei.Würde es für Stadttour Lissabon jederzeit wieder buchen.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Hotelbesitzerinnen.Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.Die Einrichtung ist modern und doch sehr individuell. Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Hotel liegt in der nähe vom Party Viertel Bairo Alto aber auch Baixa und Chaido sind nicht weit. Alles ca. 5-10min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ansonsten ist die nächste Metro Station auch nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Die beiden Mädels die das Hotel schmeißen sind super nett und haben uns ein paar gute Tipps gegeben und uns sogar noch mit Empfehlungen für unseren Trip an die Algarve ausgestattet. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen auch wenn das Zimmer recht klein ist, aber wer will schon im Zimmer sein in Lissabon. ;)

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel, außergewöhnlich Zimmer und ein völlig unkompliziertes Einchecken. Kann man ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen.

Super Lage für die Besichtigung der Stadt. Metro, Tram, Bus sind zu Fuß super zu erreichen. Die Betten sind gut, die Zimmer sehr hoch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Durch einen innenliegenden Fensterladen kann man die Zimmer gut abdunkeln und den Straßenlärm, der zu Lissabon scheinbar dazugehört, abschirmen. Ein Frühstückscafe (Quinoa) ist gleich schräg gegenüber. Gute Tipps erhält man direkt von den supernetten Besitzerinnen. Ach ja: die Türen gehen mit einem persönlichen Code auf. So kann man den Schlüssel wenigstens nicht verlieren :-)

Das Zimmer ist zweckmässig, spartanisch eingerichtet, ist aber in einer super Lage. Das Zimmer ist zwar kein, aber das Badezimmer super, mit richtig Platz. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Dit is een prima keuze voor een verblijf in Lissabon. Kamer en badkamer zijn heel schoon en nieuw. Rustgevende inrichting en goed geïsoleerd. Dichtbij d airport shuttle bus en het openbaar vervoer. Goede restaurants dichtbij.

We have got nothing to complain about Hall Chiado. There is no check-in or check-out here, they will send you a pincode for the main door and your room door. The place is very beautifully designed, very comfortable and clean rooms. The common area right behind the entrance provided guests with travelling books, recommendations on restaurants and tours as well as bottled waters. The entire place is nicely scented and designed. Definitely will stay here if we were to go back to Lisbon.
