Happy Stay in Lisbon is aan absolute aanrader. Je verblijft in een prachtig, authentiek appartement vlakbij het oude centrum van Lissabon. De bus, te nemen vanaf een metrostation, stopt letterlijk voor de deur. De bedden en de douche zijn goed en voor de liefhebbers is er gratis WiFi. De uiterst vriendelijke hostess heeft ons voorzien van leuke tips. Een aanrader!

Happy Stay is well named. I visited the area in the summer of 2017 and was very happy spending a few days here. This is a classically Lisbon apartment and while I was there contractors were upgrading this already very well maintained building. It's close to multiple markets and a tranquil, also classically Lisbon, park right behind her building where you can sit and drink coffee while planning your day. They also sell authentic tacos (I live in California, they're good. Ask about El Pinche Mercado, hidden down the street, for Tequila/Mezcal or go to Pistola y Corazon restaurant, not too far with more great Mexican food and drinks). Staying right in the middle of cities, in my opinion, is expensive and often a headache. This area is very peaceful but still just a cheap ride or a [healthy] walk over rolling Lisbon hills, past many funky shops and cafes to Rossio where there's lots going on. The apartment is large and located on the bottom floor which is crucial after a few drinks and a lot of techno. I had plenty of space to myself; If I ever return to the area with friends there will be plenty of space for a few of us. There is a big kitchen but plenty of food nearby if you don't want to spend time cooking. High ceilings everywhere with lovely molding details which, as a trained architectural designer, is a feature often not noticed yet has a big implications on comfort. My thanks again :)

We were hosted properly with a lot of attention and care, everything was clean and the place was super well located! I'd repeat my stay here anytime!

The room and the place are very nice and clean. Great location too, close to good restaurants and green zones. The host is a very friendly girl, always ready to help. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Lisbon!

We hebben hier heerlijk geslapen, prachtige locatie, sfeervol ingericht met prachtige pkafons! Heel centraal gelegen alles op loopafstand, ideaal.Wat feest! Top! Tot snel, bedankt voor de goede zorgen....

Beautiful and very comfortable place to stay! The location right next to best regions of lisbon is perfect. Principe Real with many amazing Restaurants, Bairro Alto with the best art gallery´s and bars and the river tejo with the river promenade just a short stroll away - you won´t have much time to spend inside this great place. Another bonus ist that the bus stops right in front of the door making it super easy to get anywhere with public transport.

Wij hebben met onze 2 dochters genoten van het appartement en de gastvrijheid van Arianne! Centraal gelegen in deze prachtige stad, veel bijzonder mooie plekken zijn op loopafstand, lekkere bedden, goede wifi en het allerbelangrijkst: de gezelligheid en de tips van Arianne. Dank je wel!

Arianne is a great host. Good tips about the do's and don'ts in Lisbon. The appartment is fantastic. Very stylish and walking distance from most must-see places in Lisbon. Highly recommended!
