Stephen Schnebly: This place was recommended to us by a Lisbon local as a great “mom and pop” restaurant. The selection of grilled meats that we ordered was absolutely delicious, but our favorite dishes were the francesina (best that I had in Lisbon or Porto!) and the Bacalhau à Brás, which is just crazy delicious. The older gentleman who takes orders and brings out the food is very kind and didn’t mind our poor spoken Portuguese- he even brought us a free ginjinha (a tart cherry liquor that is a specialty of Lisbon) at the end of our meal. Don’t expect a fancy or fine dining experience, but if you want a great meal and to support a non-touristy local business filled with locals, you’ve must give it a try. So be sure to stop by Grelha Do Carmo on your next trip to Lisbon - you be thrilled that you did!

Ivans Borjagins: Simple and very good home-made food. Meat is fried in open fire. Cheap. Chicken with fries and rice, cheesecake, and coffee costed just 12 euro. The old host barely spoke any English but was very friendly. We absoloutely loved the place and will be coming here often.

Devido à pandemia de vírus, não foi possível encomendar um frigorífico pessoalmente. Encomendar um aparelho grande online, sem realmente o ver, era novidade para mim, mas Matthew foi muito útil.
