Silvia Pärmann: "I have two places I like to be. Portugal is one." Cliff Richard has said so. I have to paraphrase: "I have two places I like to be. Baixa House is one." We stayed three night in november in the Principe Real apartment and enjoyed it's simple luxury a lot. It had character and style and comfort, a lot of winter sun on the small balconies ovelooking the roofs. Fresh bread arrived every day to our doorstep, we had cheese and fruit and coffee waiting in our small kichen so we did not bother to go out for a breakfast not once. The whole building is lovely with bookshelves on every floor. You just cannot beat the location: everything is in walking distance and if you want to go to Belem (or MAAT or LX Factory) the tram stop is just a few meters away. There are so many fantastic bars and restaurants nearby. We could not have asked for more but still, there was more - there was an elevator! We have stayed a lot in lovely old and stylish apartment buildings in many places in Europe and to have the room with a view we have climbed so many stairs after dinners and after shopping so we really know what a luxury it is in and historic building!

Andrew Roden: I would not recommend using TravelingToLisbon based on experience that my wife and I hand in June of 2018. 1. When they say check is after 4 p.m., don’t think as we did that you can check in anytime YOU want after 4. When you arrive in Lisbon you must call the agency to schedule a time to meet someone (between 4 & 9:30pm), at their discretion. They schedule you on a first come first serve basis. We expected to check-in at 4, but because we waited to call after arriving we couldn’t get access until after 5p.m. 2. You will need cash to check-in, and you must have exact change. When you check-in you will need to pay the standard city tax (~€1/day/person). NOTICE however that if you arrive anytime other than 4-9:30p.m., Mon-Fri, you will have to pay an additional fee. This fee can vary, depending on the time and day, so contact the agency in advance to figure out the total amount of cash to bring (CC not accepted). If you do not have the exact change, you will be required to go get it before you can check in. 3. If your unit requires a security deposit of €200 then the person checking you in will write your CC number down on a piece of paper and take it with him. We weren’t comfortable with a stranger carrying our CC number around Lisbon with him, checking in one person after another but when we pushed back, we were told we had to do it, or we couldn’t stay in the room. In summary, this company could communicate their policies more clearly and even integrate some of these payments and deposit into the registration process so that you’re aware up front, but they choose not too. Their business practices are not customer friendly or secure and their communication up front is quite poor. Given the chance to visit Lisbon again, I be looking for a company that isn’t going to surprise with fee and charges when I arrive.

Muito pouco profissional. Chamaram-me para uma entrevista, eu apareci e eles informaram-me que o papel já estava preenchido (THEY KNEW) nenhuma cortesia humana para me avisar. Eles puxam algum outro papel que eu tenho experiência ZERO no qual eu nunca me candidatei na cara. As pessoas não se apercebem que é um esforço enorme para vir a uma entrevista, não é como se eu tivesse saído da cama e atravessado a estrada. Parar de viver na terra da fantasia. Perder tempo com as pessoas é a pior coisa que se pode fazer, Irene Riley e Olivia Cook. Seria bom se alguém pudesse dizer-lhes como se comportarem de uma forma adequada. Eu só acho que as pessoas deviam ser mais genuínas. Não me interessa o quão ocupadas estão, demora um segundo do dia delas a simplesmente escrever um e-mail rápido ou telefonar. Tenho certeza que eles passaram muito tempo rolando no Facebook, mas não têm decência humana. Não estou a reagir demais, estou muito calmo e acabei de começar um novo trabalho fantástico, mas estou apenas a dar o meu feedback. x

Eles têm sempre tudo o que precisamos a um bom preço de rally. E os empregados são super prestativos. Além disso, a secção do jardim é fantástica! Eles têm algumas flores incríveis e plantas enormes de interior e exterior por preços tão bons! E você pode devolvê-las se elas morrerem, não importa o quê, sem perguntas, o que é tão legal! Nós compramos tudo, desde ferramentas para pintar a madeira às plantas e até todas as nossas decorações de Natal e muito mais! Se você for logo após o Natal, os negócios são inacreditáveis!! Ainda temos um urso de Natal de 1,80m de altura, de há 7 anos atrás, que ainda funciona perfeitamente, juntamente com toneladas de outras coisas. Os funcionários são ótimos, as ofertas são ótimas, a seleção é excelente e a política de retorno é muito útil. No geral, não há uma única reclamação. Você pode até mesmo obter madeira e caixas de graça.
