Una cantina portuguesa. EXCELENTE. El quesito de niza es la mejor entrada. Los pescados un 10.
Los precios mucho más accesibles que lo que está en Barrio Alto.
Los mozos son re amorosos.

Kleines gemütliches eng bestuhltes Restaurant direkt an der Straße gelegen... aber ein hervorragendes Essen zu einem guten Preis! Wird eher von Einheimischen als von Touristen besucht, vielleicht sind die Menus deshalb so außerordentlich gut? Jedenfalls sind fünf Sterne verdient! :-)

Not a best, the two old man is so slow but this is a tipical local place. So the taste maybe will different what you explaned.

The fish was ok. That's about it. €9 for a whole bass fish and three potatoes. Hole in the ground is a good description. Did not feel cozy in there. The door was open, so the chilly draft was real, sports running on TV.

What a hidden jem! I dunno who Papa Cheio is, but the old man who served us (two old men working the whole joint) was so nice and patient with our lack of Portuguese. We ordered the biteq and the squid/cuttle fish.

De los mejores sitios para comer en lisboa, las carnes exquisitas, todo echo al momento nada de menús precocinados, trato agradable, no hablamos portugues y el hombre se esforzó mucho en explicarnos lo que no entendiamos y todo a muy buen precio

We’ve had the cod fish and steaks and everything was delicious. The service was super nice, they really are taking nice care of their guests and you feel like you’re their friend. The price was average, but for the location and the quality of the food - portions aswell, it seems even too cheap. The ambient is portugese also and its one of those places you read about how someone found it by pure accident and where locals are eating.
You wont regret going:).

Perfect “hole in the wall” place. Where you can get a normal local lunch and wine for a ok price. Feels like you’re eating at the local fisherman’s home.

Petit resto, nappes en papier, le serveur typique du Portugal et une nourriture simple, efficace et bonne.
Un endroit fréquenté par des portugais est une valeur sûre.

Poor service overall. Took too long to get the food. They had only two items left in the whole menu and still somehow managed to get the wrong order after us having ordered clearly. Then would not accept their mistake. Cramped uncomfortable space. Mediocre food. Would not recommend.

Realmente o melhor bitoque que já comi. Bife tenro e mal passado como eu gosto, Óptimo sabor e claro a bela batata frita. Pessoal super atencioso e o preço baixo convidam sem dúvida alguma a voltar a provar este delicioso petisco.

Friendly place to dine. Reasonably priced.
Can hold up to about 30 diners at any one time. Food is superb. I'll visit there again. Make sure you visit this place, it's a matter of must.

Un restaurante pequeñito, con el espacio aprovechado al máximo. Muy recomendable experiencia. No es turístico, comen aquí los portugueses que están trabajando. El pescado es sencillo y excelente. Se come muy bien y el trato por parte del personal que te atiende es muy profesional y educado. Todo un hallazgo. Si queréis sumergiros en un ambiente portugués y con un sabor tradicional esta es muy buena opción. Y lo mejor de todo es que se encuentra en una zona turística por excelencia. Muy buena relación calidad precio.

Poucos restaurantes destes restam nesta zona. O verdadeiro restaurante português para portugueses. Sem pretensões, cozinha simples sempre muito bem confeccionada. Preços imbatíveis. Serviço familiar mas esmerado. O melhor bitoque da cidade. Uma pérola a não perder. Obrigado Zés e Marinho

Very good typical food for a very reasonable price. I tried the bitoque (7€) with rice and fries. Very small, typical cozy place with very friendly staff.

Delicious, authentic Portuguese restaurant in the ‘busy’ area of Lisbon city. It’s just a stone’s throw from the local bars / tourists area.
Seriously delicious food. Make sure to ask for for presunto & queso entree with the bread (see below). We had the bitoque a portuguesa as our main. Very good! And cheap!

The best steak in Lisbon! Their house steak is 5*. The staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming and will do everything to make sure you have a good time. Tipical portuguese ‘tasca’!

Sehr kleines Bistro mit wenig aber guter Auswahl. Die Fleischgerichte werden alle in einer Metallplatte serviert und schmecken sehr frisch. Nur das Ambiente gleicht etwas mehr einem billigen Restaurant.

We went to Papo Cheio because of the good reviews and ordered two bitoques. First of all, about the food: It is cheap but if you order one meal only you will leave the place hungry. It was just a thin piece of meat with an egg on top, no salt, no pepper, nothing else. Second, the waitress: I have never had such an unfriendly waitress in my life before. She was grumpy to all guests the whole time and in the end, we waited for the bill approx. 15 minutes and additional 10 minutes for our change. I’m totally speechless ... I would not recommend going there!!!!

Sitio pequeñito cerca de la zona de salir de Lisboa. Comida muy rica con raciones grandes. Típico sitio donde hay más Portugueses que turistas. El precio de la comida es muy razonable. Quizá en algún momento puedas sentirte un poco agobiado si el sitio está muy lleno, pero sin duda repetiría.
