Silvia Pärmann: "I have two places I like to be. Portugal is one." Cliff Richard has said so. I have to paraphrase: "I have two places I like to be. Baixa House is one." We stayed three night in november in the Principe Real apartment and enjoyed it's simple luxury a lot. It had character and style and comfort, a lot of winter sun on the small balconies ovelooking the roofs. Fresh bread arrived every day to our doorstep, we had cheese and fruit and coffee waiting in our small kichen so we did not bother to go out for a breakfast not once. The whole building is lovely with bookshelves on every floor. You just cannot beat the location: everything is in walking distance and if you want to go to Belem (or MAAT or LX Factory) the tram stop is just a few meters away. There are so many fantastic bars and restaurants nearby. We could not have asked for more but still, there was more - there was an elevator! We have stayed a lot in lovely old and stylish apartment buildings in many places in Europe and to have the room with a view we have climbed so many stairs after dinners and after shopping so we really know what a luxury it is in and historic building!

Andrew Roden: I would not recommend using TravelingToLisbon based on experience that my wife and I hand in June of 2018. 1. When they say check is after 4 p.m., don’t think as we did that you can check in anytime YOU want after 4. When you arrive in Lisbon you must call the agency to schedule a time to meet someone (between 4 & 9:30pm), at their discretion. They schedule you on a first come first serve basis. We expected to check-in at 4, but because we waited to call after arriving we couldn’t get access until after 5p.m. 2. You will need cash to check-in, and you must have exact change. When you check-in you will need to pay the standard city tax (~€1/day/person). NOTICE however that if you arrive anytime other than 4-9:30p.m., Mon-Fri, you will have to pay an additional fee. This fee can vary, depending on the time and day, so contact the agency in advance to figure out the total amount of cash to bring (CC not accepted). If you do not have the exact change, you will be required to go get it before you can check in. 3. If your unit requires a security deposit of €200 then the person checking you in will write your CC number down on a piece of paper and take it with him. We weren’t comfortable with a stranger carrying our CC number around Lisbon with him, checking in one person after another but when we pushed back, we were told we had to do it, or we couldn’t stay in the room. In summary, this company could communicate their policies more clearly and even integrate some of these payments and deposit into the registration process so that you’re aware up front, but they choose not too. Their business practices are not customer friendly or secure and their communication up front is quite poor. Given the chance to visit Lisbon again, I be looking for a company that isn’t going to surprise with fee and charges when I arrive.

O serviço ao cliente da Esquadra Geek deixa muito a desejar. Ao chegar para a minha consulta para instalar um sintonizador de satélite no meu carro, o técnico começou a me culpar por escolher o tipo errado de sintonizador (interno versus externo). Segui à risca as indicações fornecidas pela Best Buy, incluindo o fornecimento do equipamento exacto a ser instalado e os detalhes do veículo, ao agendar a marcação. Desconhece-se porque é que a Brigada de Geek não utiliza essa informação para se preparar para a marcação. O técnico declarou que não tinha nenhuma das peças necessárias para completar a instalação, que custaria $200 a mais, e que seria um mês antes que eles pudessem completar o trabalho. O técnico não queria ajudar ou sugerir opções ele só queria me culpar e à equipe Best Buy da empresa por permitir que os clientes agendassem uma consulta on-line. Então agora eu me perguntei se eu apenas interagia com um técnico preguiçoso que não tinha vontade de fazer o trabalho ou era o técnico certo e o processo de agendamento da Best Buy está severamente quebrado, colocando toda a culpa sobre o cliente. Se você apenas seguir as instruções fornecidas pela Best Buy, então você pode ser recusado ao chegar e culpado por suas falhas.
Eles são muito rudes. Totalmente não é o que eu esperava. A bateria estava descarregada em cerca de um mês quando voltei com o meu recibo para perguntar sobre uma troca, uma vez que existe uma garantia de 6 meses, eles têm a lata de dizer que nunca me venderam essa bateria! Grrrrrrrrr! Eles são trapaceiros e um total rasgão. Esteja atento!
