Wonderful dinner experience.
Food was really great and the people were so friendly.
Octopus was fantastic. The fish stew in the bread bowl ( a la San Francisco chowder) even better..
Won't disappoint. Reservations helped us during dinner prime time secure a table.

Comida boa tipo gourmet. Comi como entrada cogumelos recheados com queijo e com farinheira, prato principal farinheira vegetariana. Muito bom. O preço da carta de vinhos era exorbitante, por isso pedi só uma cerveja para acompanhar.Staff muito simpático e acolhedor. Enche rapidamente, principalmente com turistas mas de um nível mais alto. Os preços são um pouco elevados mas as doses não são más.

A cozy place that brings wonders to the palate! First of all, the decoration, imaginative and reflective of an old (and not so long lost) Lisbon. Secondly, a very dedicated and friendly service. And finally, the main atraction with all it's side dishes: the food. We dwelled in portuguese delicatessen, the likes of "Cogumelos à Bulhão Pato", "Requeijão Panado em Redução de Vinho do Porto" and a "Sopa de Peixe". Mouth watering to the eyes and extremely delicious the rest of the way, all sprinkled with a very decent green wine. And in the end, a special treat as a dessert! It was all great, even the tab.

Vi (3pers) stack in huvudet utan reservation en fre kväll. Vi lyckades få ett bord, dock för endast 1h 15min. Maten kom genast och vi hann äta i lugn och ro. Tyvärr var fisksoppan som serverades i ett bröd inte smakfull. Bläckfisken och tonfisken var väl gjorda, men saknade något ”speciellt”. Otoligt bra service, tack vare mr Riu (5stjärnor) som tog emot oss!

Tasty food! My partner was very happy with her tasty octopus! My striploin steak was good. Wine options quite varied too. Dessert list a little short, and the option l went with, they didn't have. Asked for some ice-cream instead - didn't have I ice-cream either. Overall though, a very pleasant experience. Staff and management friendly & knowledgeable.

Ganz o.k. Aber die Finesse anderer Restaurants fehlt hier, eher gehobene Hausmannskost. Mit dem Preisniveau auch hauptsächlich von Touristen besucht. Der Service ist freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam.

Restaurante discreto perto do teatro Tivoli-BBVA, lindo só pelas arcadas e abóbodas. Diversas salas com bom ambiente. Comida é apresentação dos pratos extraordinárias. Preços ao jantar elevados mas ao almoço menus mais econômicos. Staff muito simpático e rápido. Voltarei!

Um grupo de 10. Serviço lento e passado duas horas (sem culpa nossa do tempo de serviço) expulsam-nos do restaurante. Vê-se que só querem saber dos turistas, mas quando a bolha rebentar quero ver quem é continuará cliente. Eu não, de certeza.

I had the best meal of my 5 day stay here. I ordered the pasteis de bacalhau (same pastry as pasteis de nata, but filled with a delicious bacalhau mousse) and a very delicate, delicious grilled tuna. Accompanied by a glass of white vargas and followed by dessert (pao da lo). Friendly, kind staff, I recommend reserving a table if you're going on friday/saturday night. Nice, original ambiance too.

Nunca me tinha acontecido ser expulsa à pressa de um restaurante. Uma mesa de 10 pessoas, reservada, onde todos comemos e todos bebemos: após o prato principal foi-nos informado que queríamos a conta, apesar de nenhum de nós a ter pedido. Nem oportunidade de sobremesa ou café. Isto, porque reservaram a mesa por um período limitado de tempo e tinham outra mesa logo a seguir. Para os preços praticados, esperava-se pelo menos mais delicadeza na ordem para que vagassemos a mesa. Nunca mais.

fantastic food and nice cozy atmosphere. the staff was friendly and the chef passionate about food. i'd recommend to have the Cod cakes for a starter and the octapus but am certain the Duck or Lamb is probably just as tasty if that's your thing.

We stumbled on this place as it was near our hotel. Although we did not have a reservation, the staff was very helpful and accommodated us. The decor and ambiance really sweeps one away! The service was attentive and the waitress answered all our questions very patiently. I had the stuffed mushrooms which were outstanding. My wife had the beefsteak which was cooked exactly to her liking. This was a real find and I recommend it to anyone staying in the Avenida da Liberdade area.

Decoração fantástica em que se encontra enquadrada com o tema descrito, jornais e objectos da epoca. Gostei imenso da lista de vinhos com muita escolha e qualidade dos mesmos. A ementa é interessante com preço mais ou menos acessiveis dependendo do que pretende. Atendimento um pouco lento em que compensam na simpatia e profissionalismo.

This place was a very good experience. Even though the waiter forgot the water and asked twice what we ordered. The food was extremly delicious - especially the codfish pie as starter and the duck leg as main dish. Total recommendation!

Petit restaurant niché dans une ruelle de Lisbonne. L'ambiance y est très cosy et agréable. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. La nourriture et le vin sont excellents (nous avons pris le poulpe et la morue). Bien que le serveur se soit trompé dans notre commande, l'erreur a été ratrappée et pardonnée. En effet, il nous a offert le dessert suite à cette erreur.

Um dos meus restaurante favoritos em Lisboa. tudo é excepcional. A começar pela decoração, a música ambiente, a simpatia dos empregados e do dono (Filipe), a carta é difícil o que não escolher porque todos os pratos são deliciosos, até à vasta oferta de vinhos.
A sopa de peixe, o polvo à lagareiro, a perna de pato confitada, as migas, a alheira vegetariana, os pastéis de nata de bacalhau, os cogumelos à Bulhão Pato, o pão de ló... já estou com água na boca!
Sempre que posso recomendo uma visita a este magnifico restaurante, um must see/ eat em Lisboa! 10 estrelas! :)

We loved the ambiance and we loved the food. We went right as it opened and there were already people there. Everything from the appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and the sardines—not pictured, too hungry) to the main courses to the desserts tasted really good. We had the key lime Merengue pie. A young man waited on us and he was very friendly. In Portugal you have to ask for the check, it’s not considered rude but no one will attack you with the check. I would recommend this place and will come back when I’m in Lisbon again.

Спойная обстановка, португальская кухня, все вкусно и сытно. Официанты вежливые. Ушли последние, никто не тревожил. На десерт я ничего не выбрала из меню. Официант предложил принести из соседней кондитерской домашнее пироженое. Мы очень остались довольны его выбором. Еще приду. Советую заказать рыбный суп в буханке хлеба.

We reserved a table for 4 people for dinner. Two of us were vegetarians, so when we called, we asked whether they had veg options. They said they did, so we made the reservation. Once there, we had to wait half an hour before ordering. When we asked for the vegetarian options, they said one of the two veg main dishes wasn't available, so a bit disapointed we ordered the other one. After a while, we had our dishes and we started to eat, but then we realised that the dish had meat. We asked if it was so, and the waiter said at first it was vegetarian, but after asking in the kitchen he confirmed it had meat (it was evident). They served us another dish (without meat this time, but nothing special). They apologized and so on, but I find it's an important mistake that worths no more than 1 star. What if it had been an allergen? And even if not, the last thing a vegetarian want to see at his/her dish is a dead animal. It was a bad experience, and the atmosphere with our guests got ackward (it was their last day in Lisbon). Definitely, we won't go back and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone...

We stumbled across this restaurant randomly and are so glad we did! The decor inside is wonderful and it quickly filled up with people. The food was exquisite and the wine was delicious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered recommendations. The aesthetics of the restaurant are unique. What a great find!

Truly a hidden gem! It has a modest entrance but inside it is cosy and cheerful. The fish soup in a crusty bread loaf is heavenly, best to share with one (or two) friends as it is too bad to waste but too challenging to finish. Tuna steak is tasty but we were think we were too stunned by the fish soup. Goat cheese salad was also lovely and a good size. Definitely should return.

Been here with a friend and definitely satisfied. I could see that they use fresh ingredients . They offer mainly portuguese food but there is some vegetarian main menu such as stuffed mushroom also. The honey cheese cruton thing was super good.
The overall atmosphere and interior are very unique and cozy. Also, the male staff was super kind and caring. Although the place was very busy, he came to our table several times and asked if everything was okay. And he gave us small drinks to taste at the end. My friend was so touched by his service.

Restaurante com uma decoração muito engraçada, com uns empregados muito simpáticos e prestáveis, com uma boa carta de vinhos que nos são aconselhados por alguém que os conhece, os pratos são bem confeccionados e bastante originais.
Os preços pareceram-me puxadores, fora isso gostei de tudo. Comemos alheira e grelhada mista, qualquer um dos pratos estava óptimo. Durante o almoço não enche e ao jantar transborda. Aconselho experimentar e seguir os concelhos acerca dos vinhos.

The best traditional restaurant in Lisbon. The taberna Anti Dantas is a place situated in northern Lisbon, 5 minutes from barrio alto (local drinks and nightlife zone) and 15 minutes from the Riverside. Service is excellent, staff is very friendly and helpful in choices, plus the ambiance reminds of the place you're in, a 600s 800s house that shows its history through the walls. The portions are a perfect balance between quality and quantity, even tho quality is incredible. I highly suggest pork strips and the dessert leiche cake. If you are in Lisbon pass by this restaurant and enjoy the night!

Haben hier sehr gut essen können, es gab eine ordentliche Auswahl an Vorspeisen und Hauptmahlzeiten. Die Auswahl des Weines fiel ein wenig ob der Vielfalt schwer.

Pretty good environment, friendly staff and good food. We got a bit a of a delay from our reservation, but even then the staff served us some wine on the house while we waited for a table for our reservation. So overall we left very satisfied from the restaurant.

A gorgeous setting, exceptionally lovely staff (the chap serving us even gave us a Portuguese lesson!) and the food was delicious. A lovely, local and authentic spot. One little minus point was, as they were very busy, my little fish cake dish (which was so tasty) wasn't as hot as I would have I liked it to be (I do like my food piping hot so maybe it's just me being picky)! Otherwise, fantastic

Wie so oft in Lissabon ein von außen eher unscheinbares Restaurant. Bis auf die witzige "Knopfdeko", durch die sich das Anti Dantas äußerlich von vergleichbaren Tavernen unterscheidet. Innen ist es sehr originell, interessant und gemütlich eingerichtet. Doch nun zum Essen: Es gab den besten Fisch, den ich in Lissabon hatte. Genial zubereitet, geschmacklich super lecker. Auch die Nachspeisen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung sympatisch und nett, passend zum hervorragenden Gesamteindruck. Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der in Lissabon lecker essen möchte!

Атмосферное заведение, очень интересный интерьер, мега-приветливый персонал, чудесная винная карта.
Удачное расположение, нам было удобно добираться, жили поблизости. Желательно бронировать на ужин столик заранее. Кухня не впечатляет, сардины на хлебе похожи на консервы из банки, баранина суховата, осьминог на хлебной подушке тоже не особо понравился - хлеба много, осьминога мало. Цены не дешёвые.

Our experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal and night out in Lisbon. The setting was fantastic, the service was incredible and entertaining, and the food was delicious. We had the mushrooms, octopus, beans, and dessert and they were all lovely. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time... would love to come back.

Very good restaurant. Foods are delicious here and staff are always standing by to serve. Fish tart is great and the beans & seafood stew is wonderful. Great place for small gatherings or family.

Nu een ruime week in Portugal, dit was tot nu toe het lekkerste eten. Daarnaast goed personeel dat perfect Engels kan en goed meedacht! Al met al een top avond. De tonijn was eerlijk waar zalig. Sfeer was helemaal top!

This place...oh, this place. There isn't a bad choice to be made on the menu, and I strongly suggest that you let the server recommend a bottle of wine. (On two different nights, our server recommended a bottle well in the less expensive section of the wine list that paired perfectly with our meals.) I love the duck here so much I almost think it loves me too. So succulently tender that it would fall off if you picked it up by the bone, with the most wonderfully delicious of juices and a perfectly matched vegetable accompaniment...mmm. My husband says, "Get the Jewish sausage." The chocolate shots are also highly recommended.

Já adorava a mini taberna mas a "grande" está lindíssima. E a qualidade da comida mantém-se. Encantada com os pormenores. A sopa é deliciosa e os cogumelos recheados muito saborosos. Desta vez não comemos os pastéis de bacalhau mas também são muito bons. Recomendo.

Cuidado si vais a pedir vino por copas. Es un timo! 6 euros por una copa (pequeña, dos dedos) de vino normalito. Es un sitio normal, muy pequeño, buena cocina, precios de comida aceptables (13-14 euros por un plato), sin ningún lujo. Me parece un verdadero insulto cobrar 6 euros por copa, y mas después de haber equivocado y retrasado con un segundo. En carta de bebidas solo hay vino por botellas, ni agua, ni cerveza ni copas. La sorpresa viene con la cuenta. Muy desagradable.

Um local muito acolhedor e tipicamente lisboeta. Tem um ambiente muito futurista que nos transporta até ao início do séc XX. Aconselho a sopa de peixe que chega para mais do que uma refeição! Isso aliado aos pastéis de bacalhau, fica-se mais do que satisfeito

Taverna excelente aunque llena de turistas. Tienes que reservar previamente. Comida muy rica. El pulpo se deshace en la boca, la sopa de pescado servida dentro de un pan nos encantó y es muy original y recomendamos los pastelitos de bacalao especialidad de la casa. Relación calidad precio buena.

Cool relaxed place. Down to earth staff. Great delicious food (and I'm portuguese). Service a bit slow for me, but wasn't a problem as the place is pleasant.
Only a handful of tables, so book in advance.

Excellent night! Service is great, the owner is just too kind, she offered us Porto while waiting for our table. The octopus is a must, and their homemade desserts are delicious. Original music selection, we had the best night in Lisbon!
