Such a charming, lovely restaurant! Our family of five ate here tonight and the staff is so friendly and patient, especially our waitress. Salmon was cooked perfectly, food was delicious and the price was really reasonable. We are so glad to have found this establishment, highly recommend it!

Schönes kleines Restaurant direkt in der Innenstadt. Spezialität sind die Fleisch- und Fischspieße die zum Essen an Hacken über die Beilagen am Tisch gehängt werden. Das ganze kann man als Menu mit Vorspeise bestellen (15-20 €). Alles war sehr sehr lecker. Natürlich immer schnell voll.

Vi kom inn i en hyggelig restaurant, og ble umiddelbart vennlig vist til et bord. Maten var nydelig, grillspyd med tilbehør, med en egen vri. Servitøren var diskret tilstede, alltid oppmerksom. Det hele ble en opplevelse som anvefales på det sterkeste. Hilsen to voksne og en tiåring.

We ate here some days ago. Since then we try each evening to get again a place here, but the restaurant has most of the times a litte queue. The swordfish was delicious. The wine was great too. The place looks romantic.

Wir hatten die Schweinefiletspieße. Diese waren sehr lecker und auch schön rosa und nicht durch, wie in einer anderen Kritik gewünscht.
Die Desserts waren ebenfalls köstlich!
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Restaurant ist sehr klein und man sollte reservieren oder um Punkt 19 Uhr dort sein.
Für kleine Kinder eher nicht geeignet, da keine kingerechten Gerichte.
Die Preise sind für die Qualität eher gering. Beachtet, dass auch nur in bar bezahlt werden kann.

Consigliato da amici che vivono qua, la specialità sono spiedoni di pesce e di carne, quelli di pesce sono ottimi vengono serviti con contorni di puré, verdure o in padella o bollite; le verdure sono molto al di sotto delle aspettative, acquose spesse e poco gustose.usano molto il format menu fisso a 17-20€ con antipasto e piatto principale a scelta con contorni. Do 4 stelle perché il pesce lo meritava

정말 맛있었다. 해물꼬치가 훨 나은 듯하다. 음식은 그리 비싸지 않은데 술이 좀 비싸다. 맥주가 4.5 샹그리아 500ml가 8.5유로.. 식당이 좁지만 서빙하는 분들이 많고 틈틈이 와서 체크해준다. 굉장히 친절한 스태프 좋은 분위기 맛있는 음식 적당한 가격, 최고의 식사였다

Ottimo lo spiedo di pesce misto. Un po più caro rispetto alla media. Ma si mangia bene e la.location e molto caratteristica. Fado in sottofondo, sangria e porto ad accompagnare il tutto. Ottimo per coppie, per cena in intimità.

A distanza di un paio d'anni siamo tornati e gli spiedini sono ancora ottimi, soprattutto quelli di pesce. Il contorno di verdura servito con il pesce si sposa bene con i sapori di mare... Il locale è piccolo quindi a volte serve un po' di pazienza per entrare. Un po' poco chiaro il meccanismo di prenotazione che a seconda che si chiami telefonicamente o si richieda direttamente in ristorante a volte sembra che non prendano prenotazioni e a volte solo per alcuni orari... Sinceramente questa cosa non si capisce...

On a beau se fier souvent sur google map, nous avons été très heureux de notre soirée à ce restaurant. Tout était parfait. De l'accueil, au repas qui était exquis du début à la fin. Comme nous sommes en février tous les restos ne sont pas bondés. Mais celui-ci oui et pour cause. Nous avons pris des brochettes différentes. Moi j'avais de grosses crevetes, des calmars et de la poulpe et mon épouse du veau, de la dinde et du porc . Mon épouse avait aussi de la ratatouille et elle l'a adoré. Et j'ai pris la crème au caramel au dessert et elle était sublime. Allez y sans hésiter.

NB: this place is CASH ONLY. Otherwise a nice place and interesting food (almost everything is on a skewer which will be hung from a hook near your plate). Very little space though. Quality does not fully match price. And again: cash only (yes, we had to send someone on a trip to find an ATM). #LetsGuide

Quelle superbe surprise que ce petit restaurant! Accueillis par le charmant sourire de la patronne portugaise qui parle anglais, français et.., nous avons mangé une brochette de gambas et calamars servie avec une assiette de différents légumes, le tout bien présenté et délicieux. Bien que ce soit le midi, la jeune femme nous a chanté 4 airs de fado. Un moment de grâce, hors du temps et de la pluie qui tombait à verse ce jour là.

What a good surprise at Baixa area. We stoped there by chance and the food and plance met our expectation. We order a Espetada de camarão e lula andr Espetada mista. Both were really good! The portion is big and tasty. The waitress was always attentive and very friendly. The place is very small but cozy. We had a chance to listen to a Fado singer. Sure we will be back!

Kann ich nur empfehlen. Das Restaurant ist sehr leicht zu übersehen. Sind leider nur wenig Plätze vorhanden. Am besten vorher reservieren. Ich hatte ein Menü vom Iberico Schwein. Einfach nur genial die Fleisch Qualität. Dazu noch live Musik. Mehr Portugal geht einfach nicht.

Greeeeaat food, service okayish. We had some of the skewers and my seafood skewer with octopus, squid and prawn was just amazing - would give even 6 stars if possible. Out of our 5 seats only two had a full dinner and that cooled the hospitality down quite significantly - really sad but still a recommendation.
UPDATE: waitress must have had a bad day last time... all perfect this occasion. Food - seafood skewer-- is still awesome!

Restaurant de petite taille mais à la déco assez typique. Pas de terrasse mais pas aussi de rabatteurs ce qui est rare pour le quartier. Plats très bons dont les brochette de crevettes et de viande. Service plutôt rapide surtout pour pouvoir refaire du service après. Mais bonne adresse gustative

Le vin conseillé par la patronne correspondait bien à ma demande : parfumé et ayant du corps.
Prix raisonnables, en rapport avec la qualité de la cuisine.

Excellent moment, service au top c'est le meilleur que l'on est fait sur notre sejour.
Nous nous attendions pas à trouver ce type de restaurant dans ce secteur de la ville, prix justifié sur la qualité du repas, vin très abordable (quinta da alorna).

The service was really good, the female server was welcoming and helpful with the menu. The decor inside was nice, with candles on each table and an unique screwer holder at each table.
The food was disappointing. We had cheese platter which was delicious. The octopus salad was bland and the portion was minimal.
We had the house mixed fish screwer, the salmon was dry but the swordfish and tuna were good.
The veal screwers were over tough, would not recommend it. Both screwers were disappointing in portions.

Die Karte umfasst verschiedenes Fleisch, diversen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte.
Diese werden gegrillt auf Spießen mit reichlich Beilagen serviert und kosten zwischen 14€ und 18€.
Service sehr freundlich; Essen kommt recht schnell; Weinangebot nicht katalogweise, dafür ausgewählt und sehr gut.

꼬치를 크게 만들어서 비주얼적으로 나름 신기했습니다. 메뉴는 사진에 보는 것과 같이 시켰고 맛에 오차가 크지 않을 것 같은 돼지고기와 새우요리.
그릴에 구운 요리니 기본적으로 맛있고 덜짜게 부탁할 필요 없는 간 이었습니다. 사이드로 나오는 야채들도 맛있었네요. 기대를 안하고 가서 그런지 독특한 비주얼과 준수한 맛에 만족했습니다.
직원들은 친절한 편이었고 불편한 점은 딱히 없었습니다. 다만 이 메뉴를 많이들 먹길래 미리 알아두고 가서 시켰는데 ,다른 외국인 분들은 이 메뉴를 시키지 않아 신기한 듯이 보는 분들이 있어서 쳐다보긴 했는데 뭐 그정도야... ㅋㅋ

This is a hidden gem. The food is excellent and so is the wine. The waitress was very helpful with recommendations. Even though they were out of the cheese for my starter, she recommended another one as replacement and it went really well with the meat. I had the veal skewer for main course and I will gladly recommend it to anyone who likes meat. It was delicious. For dessert I had the lemon tart and it was so tasty. Sweet, but not too sweet. The interior and ambience were nice as well. I hope to be back here because you get your money's worth!

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten über Silvester 1 Woche in Lissabon und haben 2x in diesem kleinen und gemütlichen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen.
Das Lokal besitzt keine eigene Homepage und man kann nur reservieren, indem man dort anruft.
Wir sind einfach ohne Reservierung um 18:50 Uhr dort gewesen und wurden um 19:00 Uhr eingelassen.
Wir haben beide Male einen Meeresfrüchtespieß gegessen, welcher fabelhalft war.
Als Dessert haben wir einen typischen portugiesischen Käse gegessen, den man löffelt und dazu ein Glas Portwein. Es war alles sehr sehr lecker.

점심시간에 오늘의메뉴(메뉴델디아)로 먹었습니다. 전식과 본식, 음료가 포함되어 있었습니다. 후식은 추가로 주문해야 했지만 친절한 편이고, 맛도 좋았습니다. 저는 황새치 스테이크, 동행은 참치 스테이크 먹었는데 둘다 맛있었어요. 황새치는 담백했고, 참치는 부드럽고 짭쪼름했네요. 전반적으로 추천합니다!!

Najgorsze owoce morza jakie w życiu jadłem. Zawsze myślałem ze owoców morza nie da się zepsuć, ale ta knajpa udowodniła ze jednak tak. Na dodatek obsługa nachalna, wystrój typowo pod turystów, niezbyt przyjemny zapach w środku. Uciekajcie jak najdalej od tego miejsca.

Excellent food, great service! Les brochettes de viande sont à tomber par terre. Très original, avec la brochette accrochée devant vous a la verticale. Très bonne grillade d'espadon aussi.

WHEN: We ate there October 2019
WHAT: The place is tiny but mighty! Their grill techniques are perfect for whichever proteins you order. A very nice and even-handed touch.
MEAL: The vegetable/accompaniments plating is beautiful as you can see in the picture. Wether by glass or bottle, take the staff's recommendation - the reserve red I had with the mixed meat skewer was quite dry but an excellent pairing with the plate.
The almond cake and dessert port were a delightful ending.
SERVICE: This place knows hospitality - the team is made of pros. Take their advice for wine pairings and dessert.
ANYTHING ELSE? Make a reservation if possible. I asked our hotel to, before we arrived in Lisbon.

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir waren im Oktober 2019 dort (aufgrund der guten Bewertungen) und waren begeistert. Es liegt zwar inmitten der absoluten Tourimeile, aber aufgrund der kleinen Größe des Lokals, sowie der Tatsache das es sich in einer nicht soooo eindeutigen Promenade befindet, eher von locals besucht wird statt von Touristen.
Das Essen war ein Traum! Jeder Garpunkt wurde genau getroffen, das Fleisch und der Fisch/Meeresfrüchte hatten eine sehr guten Qualität und die Kellner sind absolut bemüht einem möglichst jeden Wunsch (ob Änderung der Bestandteile des Gerichtes oder sonstwas) zu erfüllen.
Das Ambiente ist absolut authentisch, selbst im Inneren sind die landestypischen Kacheln installiert und das Restaurant überzeugt einfach.
Man sollte jedoch schauen das man wirklich um 19 Uhr vor Ort ist oder reserviert. Das Restaurant öffnet gegen 18:30Uhr und gewährt einem auch dann schon Einlass (mit dem Hinweis, das die Küche leider erst um 19 Uhr öffnet). Die Hausweine, sowie die Sangria sind sehr zu empfehlen.
Würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

웨이팅이 있을 수 있어요. 두명이라 바로 들어가긴 했지만 세명 이상의 사람들은 많이 기다리는 걸 봤어요. 새우+오징어 꼬치와 돼지고기 꼬치, 문어 샐러드를 시켰는데 다 무난하고 맛있었고, 화이트와인 하프보틀이랑 다 해사 50유로 정도 나왔어요. 특히 여자 직원이 있었는데 너무 밝고 친절해서 약간 감동 받았어요! ㅎㅎ

Staff was very nice and the food was very good. We had the salmon fille and mixed sea skewer with the house wine (white). All main dishes are accompanied by a side of potatos and vegetables. The place is quite small and was bearly starting to fill up when we arrived (around 19:00 on a Sunday). By the time we left the small restaurant was almost full.
It is rare to find such good quality (service and food) at a reasonable price in the city center.

Delicious food and prompt service, with fare prices for a very central location (we ate swordfish and mixed sea food). Restaurant is small but crowded, sign of good food. Friendly staff and, in my case, they were also speaking my native language.

A small and cosy restaurant just off the touristy streets and restaurants. They have a very good choice of Portuguese-style food, with a special emphasis on skewers. Side dishes are just as tasty as the fish and meat. Staff is very friendly. Discovery for us: vino verde served from a barrel, slightly fizzy and more fruity than from the bottle, and really tasty.

Les crevettes sauvages sont spectaculaires mais décevantes. Peu savoureuses et trop cuites. En revanche le veau , le calamar et le poulpe sont très bien. Le vin de la casa est à éviter. Bon service.

Loca con encanto por su decoración, carta no muy grande pero variada con posibilidad de menús por 15€. Platos grandes, las brochetas muy buenas y bien acompañadas son bastante grandes para una sola persona.

Un buon ristorantino nella Baixa di Lisbona. Il locale non è molto grande, come quasi tutti i locali qui, ma è molto grazioso ed accogliente. La casa offre principalmente degli spiedoni di carne o pesce davvero buoni. Materie prime ottime e una buona scelta di vini. Prezzo in linea con gli altri locali della zona. Noi in 2 abbiamo preso del formaggio locale, 2 spiedoni di pesce e uno di carne ( abbiamo abbondato), una bottiglia di vino bianco e 1/2 litro di sangria, 2 gingija per 87€. Consigliatissimo

This is cash only restaurant. Delicious seafood and meat served on a skewers that are hung at the table with a small plate to catch the juices. Vegetables on the plate adds a healthy add on. Simple, but the focus is on eating. Flavorful meats, less so with the vegetables and potatoes but there's side sauce artfully dotted around the plate. A very nearby ATM machine comes in handy for the rest of the stay in Lisbon where most things are cash only.

Small and cozy restaurant with excellent food. The highlights are the skewers, either meat seafood or mixed. Portions are large enough for you not to leave hungry and small enough not to stuff you...just perfect. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is really nice and quiet

Durch Zufall haben wir dieses kleine Restaurant in einer Nebenstraße unseres Hotels entdeckt. Das Essen war wirklich der Hammer! Es gab Fleisch- und Gambaspieße, die an einem Haken über den Beilagen auf dem Teller aufgehängt werden.
Das Schwein war Wahnsinn und auch die Gambas göttlich! Sehr zu empfehlen! Aber sehr überlaufen.

Oui c’est très bon restaurant mais je trouve qu’il est un peu sur coté.
Je mets 4 car La nourriture est bonne, produit frais et typiques
Pour le reste c’est un 3 voir un 2...
On est servis rapidement voir un peu trop rapidement !!

I want to suggest this restaurant to everybody! The place is cozy and comfortable, small tables, it can be very romantic.
All the food comes with side vegetables and sauces as good as the skewers! Loved the staff. I suggest reservation if you go on weekend cause is small. Be careful of one thing: cash only (there is an ATM nearby).

Fantastic little restaurant tucked away just off one of the main shopping streets in Lisbon. This restaurant specialises in Meat and Fish skewers. The meat on the skewers melts in the mouth and is full of flavour. Be sure to book, as this restaurant only seats about 20. An absolute must for dinner for anyone visiting Lisbon.

우마가 줄이 길어서 찾다가 들어갔다. 돼지꼬치요리와 코스요리를 시켰고 코스요리에서 고기를 선택했더니 단품과 똑같은 메뉴가 나옴. 단품에 샐러드와 디저트가 포함된 코스임. 샐러드는 거의 문어샐러드를 먹고있었음. 돼지고기에 소금 간 한 꼬치일뿐 엄청 맛있지는 않음. 그냥 돼지꼬치, 해산물꼬치임.

3명이서 2인분만 시켰는데 충분했습니다
와인은 잘 몰라서 추천받았는데 맛있었어요

Restaurant un peu petit mais bon. Le principe est des menus de brochettes (poissons ou viandes) servis avec entrée et porto ou dessert. En entrée la salade de poulpe n'est pas très goutteuse (trop d'oignon). Les brochettes et accompagnements sont très bons. les desserts sont aussi très bons. Prix d'un menu entre 17€ et 15€ est correct pour Lisbonne. Vin et boisson sont proposés à un prix correct. Pas de supplément pour les couverts. Patronne aimable et serviable (parle anglais et français) et serveuse gentille et compétente

지나가다가 우연히 들어간 곳인데 아주 좋았어요. 디너인데 17유로에 스타터, 메인(꼬치구이 선택+감자 밥 샐러드), 디저트(케이크 혹은 포트와인)까지 나오고 질도 아주 괜찮았아요. 저는 껍질까먹기 귀찮아서 고기믹스로 시켰는데 왕새우,해산물믹스 등등도 정말 맛나보였네요. 오픈시간에 들어갔는데 식사마치고 나올때는 대기하는 분들이 엄청 많았어요. 유명한집이었나보네요.

We stumbled upon this place after seeing the unusual serving style of hanging the skewered meat and seafood from a hook at the table.
The meal was very very tasty with all the seafood done perfectly. The octopus especially stood out as the best; I've never had more tender octopus!

On a quiet side street, this gem of a restaurant offers succulent kebabs of fish, seafood or meat which are brought to your table and hung with some drama on the hook over your table. Each platter comes with delicious potatoes and salad. The wine list is excellent and affordably priced.
The menu may be a bit tattered and the choices not completely clear. Ignore these eccentricies, whatever you order will be delicious.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Best seafood and fish I've had in years. The octopus and tuna steak are the best, but the squid and sword fish are also great. The sangria is delicious. The pork was OK but nothing special. Overall a wonderful experience.

La verdad es que genial! La única pega es que al ser un local pequeño la distancia entre las mesas es mínima y no tienes mucha privacidad. Por eso se lleva un 4 en lugar de un 5. La comida y el vino muy buenos.

우마 옆에 있어요 길가다가 보여서 우연히 들어간 집이라 기대하지 않았는데 정말 맛있었어요 해산물 꼬지, 고기 꼬지 코스요리로 드셔보세요 후식으로 포르투갈산 와인이랑 케익 중 선택할 수 있는데 초코케익 정말 맛있어요 양도 많아서 세명이서 2인분 시켜서 푸짐하게 먹었어요 덕분에 리스본에서의 마지막 날 밤을 아름답게 마무리하고 갑니당

Limited menu options (beef, turkey, fish, seafood) but they made up for it with the quality of the food and portion size (I never thought I would say "enough" to seafood :) ).
Everyone enjoyed the food (the "spicy sausages" were a big hit with the kid) and for an atmospheric presentation ask for one of their "espedata"s as for sure it will make your evening.
Around ~ 25 EUR for a dinner (wine & drinks included) made this a great dinner location.
It's just off the main pedestrian street in the city center, making it easy for us to continue our sightseeing after dinner.
Loved the place - went back for a number of evenings during my stay :)

Great food, at a great price, friendly atmosphere, with a simple menu where you choose what is going to be on your skewer. The included port wine is nothing special, but good (you might want to favour getting the dessert). We had everything but the fish, and it was all very good! Mind that there is no vegetarian option.

Great little place to come for dinner. Amazing kebabs with that medium cooked pork, steak and veal!
Very historical place with azulejos everywhere.
Well worth it when in Lisbon.

Décor genial, accueil sympathique (parle anglais et français), produits locaux et prix défiants toute concurrence: café+croissant=1,50 €
