Not cheap but not particulary expensive for this part of the city. Awful food, all the plates we prder were lower than expected including two salads and a soup

Costuma frequentar este restaurante antes de ter sido completamente reformulado e de facto perdeu um pouco aquele ambiente de tasco em prol de quase nada. A comida é menos de mediana (as sardinhas estavam mas), o preço algo elevado , o atendimento ok. O ambiente também é minimamente engraçado mas o principal de um restaurante tem de ser a comida é se esta falha tem que se refletir na classificação. Não repito.

Typowo portugalska kuchnia. Fajny wystrój. Niestety zostaliśmy "naciągnięci" na przystawki. Kelner przynosi na stół startery sery, pieczywo, bez informacji, że to płatna przystawka. Słabe. Nie polecam!

I see some bad reviews about service. I can say the service when we went was actually really good, and we were speaking in English.
The food was decent. It's in a nice enough spot to sit outside in Summer (few seats on street level)

Le personnel est bien, le cadre fait authentique, après 45 euros pour deux bière et deux poissons grillés (morue et espadon) avec quelques légumes cuits a l'eau, je trouve que le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas.

Fast food style with high price, cold dishes with ingredient out of date, warm ones with off-flavor of lobster/shrimp or fish. It tasted like pre-prepared food that only warm up by microwave. All comments mentioned the issue of free bread offer, which in the end turned to be only free for one person, with others charged 4e p.p.

We were served some bread and cheese and were told that was free but we were charged 12 euros (4e per person) at last! They don't serve local people "free" bread (as I preserved). The crab and shrimp were not fresh at all.

Nos sentamos en una mesa y cortésmente nos ofreció el aperitivo y nos indicó que era con coste. Cortésmente le dijimos que no queríamos, que se lo podía llevar. A los cinco minutos volvió con el aperitivo y le volvimos a decir que no lo queríamos....se lo llevó y volvió a los dos minutos para volver a intentar colarnos el aperitivo por tercera vez. Tras este episodio decidimos que la cosa pintaba mal y nos fuimos. Francamente, la actitud fue de tomarnos el pelo. Otra cosa...me dió tiempo a ver la carta...no se pueden cobrar esos precios cuando las mesas están distribuidas estilo cuartel....comes pegado al de la mesa de al lado

Typical Portuguese restaurant well located in the centre. Walked in with no expectations (as we didn't know the place, and it was the only option open around the area on the public holiday), but walked out with great satisfaction. Mostly the waiter treated us very well ( wish I remember his name). The food was between okay and good and good price.

Principal fact is that since I remenber so when I had my 5 / 6 years hold I normally go here to dinner with my father and for sure that it change the management it still as personal opinion the same or better and that's is the reason I give always the reference to all the persons visiting Lisbon to go there, I now that is unique the pleasure, and satisfaction garated, go and feel the same 100% certainly if not call me for sure you have my contact, enjoy a typical meal and attend

We went here for a quick snack and had the prawns in butter and drinks. They were delicious and the service was good - they left us be but were around if we needed anything. I too was brought bread with spreads and cheese, which I did not and for and was charged for, but I had read about this prior and knew it was likely what was happening.

Ottima l’idea del Menù in Italiano (un po’ maccheronico ma comprensibilissimo).

A cinco anos atrás comi a melhor sardinha da minha vida aqui, hoje voltei e me decepcionei com o mesmo prato (faltou cocção, pois antigamente os espinhos costumavam desmanchar-se), mas o ambiente e atendimento foram e continual sendo excelentes.

J'ai commandé une salade césar, servie sans oeuf, sans parmesan, sans crouton et avec de la mayonnaise en guise de sauce césar. Autrement dit, une simple salade avec des dés de poulet, du maïs et quelques pets de carottes râpées. La cuisson du poisson commandé par les personnes avec moi n'était pas maîtrisée.
Néanmoins, les serveurs sont gentils et à l'écoute.

No vayan!! Esto no lo levanta ni Chicote! Entramos a cenar sin mucha hambre y al personal le molestó que pidiéramos poca cantidad. Mientras comíamos no pararon de observarnos ya que éramos casi los únicos que estaban cenando en el local. No nos recomendaron nada de su carta, solo el plato más caro. Todo el personal pendiente de nosotros sin poder cenar tranquilamente. Al traernos la cuenta nos trajeron el ticket tapado en el que solo se veía la cantidad final (un detalle muy feo). Nos largamos en cuanto pudimos. La comida nada del otro mundo. Si pudiese puntuarle menos, lo haría.

The food and service were okay, not great but acceptable. We did feel cheated when the bill arrived and we were charged for the bread, butter and cheese that had been placed on our table without asking or explanation at the beginning of the meal. Feels like you're being taken advantage of as a tourist.

Considero que atendimento e padrão dos pratos perderam um pouco de qualidade. Desta ultima vez o atendimento foi feito por um garçom que nao conhecia detalhes dos pratos, tipo quais eram os acompanhamentos. O chop não estava com um sabor legal. Mas vale uma visita.

Over priced and not so good food. They charged for the butter (1euro each) and for the bad bread (2 euro), and the most annoying thing is that they don’t ask if you want it or not, they just simply charge for it.

Abbiamo mangiato il baccalà tipico Portoghese. Buono, leggermente salato, però mangiabile.
Accoglienza ottima e gentilezza del personale. Il menù, una volta seduto, lo trovi in Portoghese, spagnolo, inglese e anche italiano.

Fini les écharpes des clubs, qui faisaient le coté typique de ce lieux...
Le resto s'est relooké, tout propre, déco Ikea, et a perdu son âme.
D'ailleurs les "locaux" ne sont plus là. Vous croiserez des touristes ...
Vraiment dommage.

ps: vous mangerez encore convenablement dans un lieu aseptisé.

Service was good, but the food was average. Nothing really stood out. Most deserts are store bought and a very limited choice of self prepared deserts, which was average as well.

The food was ok but the service was horrible the worst we had in Lisbon. This restaurant also ripped us off and charged us 3 euros for 3 sachets of butter when we mentioned this to the manager he threatened to call the police if we refused to pay it. It really was a terrible experience and I would never ever eat here again and I would advice all tourists to avoid it, there are better places close by with better food and service.

Gekommen für ein kleines Abendessen, bis zu singen begonnen wurde. 4 ausgezeichnete Fado-Sänger/innen haben unseren Abend zur Nacht gemacht.
Musik jeweils Dienstag bis Donnerstag ab ca 20 Uhr

Adega de São Roque is een klein restaurant in het souterrain van een gebouw aan het Largo Trindade Coelho in Bairro Alto. Het interieur is volgehangen met voetbalsjaals en foto's van bekende Portugese voetballers die hier ooit een vorkje hebben meegeprikt. De bescheiden bediening serveert overheerlijke Portugese specialiteiten voor een schappelijke prijs. Een kleine waarschuwing; hoewel de menukaart in meerdere talen beschikbaar is, spreekt het personeel uitsluitend Portugees.
