Super friendly and super clean. Its so small - you get in touch with people easily! Beautiful View and a lovely little breakfast

Pluses: - location with a view of Ria Formosa - the kitchen and common area with sofas, nice eating space etc. - the breakfast — way more than the typical hostel cereal and toast - nice staff - cleanness — cleaned daily incl. rooms - 3 bathrooms with 3 showers in total for 4 rooms - nicely decorated - each bed has a shelf with outlets and lamp No minuses :-)

Super Unterkunft. Sauber, geräumig. Bar und Restaurant gleich gegenüber. Nettes Personal. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Eigentlich wie in ein Apartment mit Hotelservice

Eu tive uma experiência bastante positiva no Wax Hostel. Fui sozinha, espontaneamente, para aproveitar o descanso do Algarve em época baixa. O Hostel está super bem situado, mesmo entre a Ria e Praia - acessível através de transportes públicos- com uma vista incrível e está limpo - incluindo a cozinha super equipada e camas confortáveis. No entanto, há coisas que poderiam ser melhoradas. A noite é 27euros em camarata, sem direito a pequeno-almoço, chá ou café. Ora, não há supermercados na praia, apenas uma mini mercearia com pouca opção, obrigando-nos a comer sempre fora, maioritariamente tostas e peixe acima do preço justo. Eu falei do assunto junto do staff mas não tive grande sucesso, embora acredite que isto será resolvido em época alta. As casas de banho, pequeninas, também poderiam estar mais limpas, mas creio que isso se deve aos hospedes e não staff, a qual sai às 17h todos os dias.

Bár én nem épp a hostelező korosztályhoz tartozom, -csupán lányomat adtuk le-, a maga nemében nagyon kultúrált és nagyon hangulatos helyen van! Még a reptér közelsége is kedvező lehet bizonyos szempontból. Jó szívvel ajánlom annak aki olcsó, fiatalos szállást keres.

Super schönes, sauberes Hostel direkt am Wasser. Hatten dort einen tollen Abend!

Extremely nice staff, hostel is in a very good location 3 mins from the beach, it has it's own small beach but I wouldn't recommend to swim there as sand and water doesn't seem suitable to do so, but for the price and location this is absolutely a big yes for me!

Stayed here in a shared room for 5 people for two nights after the Moto Clube Faro rally in July '17. The place was spotless, and so relaxing after 4 nights in the heat & dust of the motorcycle rally site. Good sized kitchen with large fridge & freezer. Lots of choice of bars & restaurants nearby (including the beachside bar which is part of the hostel). Regular bus service from nearby to the airport and into the town. I'd go back again without hesitation.

Très bien décoré, très propre, très bien situé, mais il faux attendre jusque 14h pas de possibilités pour posé vos bagages, pas de petit dej , si aux restaurant attenant 8€, et les concurrents même prix et pendant mon séjour pas de supérette dans le coin, personnel inexistant, je recommande quand même mais prévoyez votre petit dej

Quel bel endroit! La maison est spacieuse, propre, les chambres agréables, vue sur l étang, la mer à 30m...un petit paradis

Stayed the for 3 days was a quiet time of year so no many there. Place was in clean with a nice kitchen lounge area.

Very nice and clean Hostel near the Beach. Friendly personal. Rooms on the Site of the Street are a little bit loud.

Are at restaurant a number of times over our visit and each time food and welcome was excellent. Staff are very welcoming to non- guests and it is spotlessly clean.

The place was ok. The upside is that it is really close to the beach the rooms are nice but you hear eveything so I recommend ear plugs if you are sleeping here. The place is clean and neat, and it is peaceful sitting outside on the terrace Other than the beach there is basically nothing to do here. There were no mini market open or any pharmacy. So I am glad I only had one full day here. I guess if you are into watersports this is the place to stay, as well as taking a walk at the national park which I found out about too late. When it comes to the staff they were nowhere to be found when I arrived the first day, but you can go to the restaurant across the road and get checked in Wax Restaurant. Not the most service oriented people, but you really don't have to be much around them. I will try and stay at one of the other hostels if I ever come back here. The energy at this place just wasn't what I am used too.

Le ragazze che gestiscono la spiaggia sono veramente scortese. Inoltre alle 10 di mattina i lettini erano tutti legati è sporchi di sabbia (che nessuno se è segnato di sistemare). MAI PIU

Sehr sauber und perfekt gelegen mit ordentlichem Frühstück, aber ohne gratis Handtücher, für den Bettenpreis könnte man eins for free erwarten. Ansonsten alles top!

I absolutely love Praia de Faro. I usually book Beach life Hostel, but i tried here this time. WAX was fabulous the sunrise is absolutely amazing, i would recommend booking it for that alone. The bed however, has no rail or edge and i lost my footing and fell off. I would prefer an edge around a top bunk for safety. The price for a sunday was €37 and down the road in beach life it was €20 for the same time. There is no difference in location, however the atmosphere is better down below. WAX has seperate restaurant/bar etc across the road so it doesn't have the same hostel vibe. However this is only my opinion :) it is spotlessly clean & modern & as said before for the sunrise alone i would book it & the lake & proximity to beach (1min)&proximity to airport(3min walk across the bridge & bus for €2.45 taking 10mins)

Suuuuuper hostel so small and cosy... I met diverse type of people every 2 days from all over the world and of different age group but eceron9was kind and ready to have a laugh... Staff was amazing as well... Simple and lovely breakfast but super needed.. Beach just across the road amazing views

Ottimo posto per stare in spiaggia e mangiare bene sulla spiaggia. Curato e pulito e molto giovanile. Piatti curati e abbondanti.

Bonjour, par ces qlq mots nous souhaitons vivement vous recommander et remercier Mariana pour le merveilleux séjour que nous avons eu la change de passer à Wax hostel et que nous ne sommes pas prêt d'oublier !!! Votre sens de l'hospitalisation (MARIANA, un vrai coup de cœur) son désir de nous faire découvrir la région, nous ont permis de passer des vacances sous le signe de l'amitié et de la découverte. Bjour ..je viens de passer 5 jours magnique a Wax Hostel..calme ,plage et une equipe formidable ..Bien reçu ,equipe au petit soin avec vous ..chambres toujour prope, higiene au max ..petit dejeuner toujour varie...Bar de la plage avec des cocktail varies..Bravo a l' equipe de Mariana..Experience a renouveller l' annee prochaine..merci Hostel Wax.

Very clean. Friendly stuff. Good located. Nice breakfast. The only thing that could be a bit of an issue is that there are only two bathrooms. But during my stay that never was a problem. The Hostel is small so it's easy to meet new people. But it's also possible to get time for yourself so I would def recommend this this hostel!

Tout simplement superbe. On se sent comme à la maison. Chambres petites mais qu'importe, on n'est pas venu pour dormir.. Super cuisine avec tout le matériel pour cuisiner si besoin.

Stayed here inMay 2017 for a few days. Very new place, ncie terrace, good kitchen and comfy living area. Room wasn't cleaned once in 4 days though. Good food opposite the street at Wax Restobar.

Lovely location. It s super clean and relaxin. The place resides in the beach. We love the cleanliness and the modern features of the place. The common space is absolutely wonderful as well. The kitchen gets the job done. The bathrooms are a bit small for a tall person. Fortunately, the toilet points towards the door. We stayed in a place before where there was little space between the toilet and the wall. The beds are comfortable. We loved the place. The staff are super friend and provide great service.

plus cher qu'un hotel 4 étoiles qui lui a déjà un petit-déjeuner compris alors que là non ! pas de serviettes à disposition (devons les louer 3 euros) pour les réclamations, jamais de responsable, il y a mieux et moins cher dans la région.

The best hostel ever! It is small but it has all you need, it feels like if you are at home. The dinning room and living room are connected and has a glass door that allows you to see the river and the inland. The view is amazing! It has a great location, you can travel by car or bus (just a little walk from the drop off area). Highly recommended! Very clean!

Coole Strandbar mit Hostel & Restaurant. Aufmerksames nettes Personal. Toller Ausblick auf den Strand und gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Tip: hier den Sonnenuntergang genießen und dann unten im relaxed eingerichteten Restaurant Bereich Essen oder unten Wind geschützt Cocktails trinken....

Excelente hostel. Ambiente familiar e atendimento nota 10.
