Espaço razoável, atendimento péssimo, enquanto fazes esperava o atendimento ( muito tempo) mesas encheram e saíram sem alguém lhes ter dado atenção nem uma palavra. Comida sem nexo por exemplo :bife de vaca grelhado com arroz de feijão , sobremesa à escolha ( só temos leite creme) por sinal era só leite sem creme,os fados o que dizer,na falta de melhor é o que a casa tem. NÃO recomendo.( Atenção!!! Aos preços do vinho um Mundus rosé pode custar 22€)

Leuk om live fado muziek mee te maken. Eten is goed, ze komen echter allemaal voorgerechten ongevraagd bij je op tafel zetten waar je dus wel voor moet betalen. Beetje vreemd, let goed op wat je doet. Ik heb het eten terug gestuurd. De rest ging goed.

Oh haha, thinking back to that night I have to laugh. Luckily we didn't eat there but we had the absolutely most absurdly terrible wine known to man. Honestly I'm convinced it's a home brew, or someone cut with liquefied pine cones. Ever see that episode of Black Books where Bernard and Manny make a bottle of wine to replace a bottle they drank and shouldn't have? NO? 1. You should and 2. That's what it tasted like. When we tried to leave after the first fishbowl of wine, the waiter told us that we'd be charged 10 eur/ head for the wine anyway so we may as well have another glass. Aaah hahahaha what a mess that was!

If there was the option of no stars we would. They start by putting down bread (€3) cheese(€8) and chorizo (€8). I'm glad we kept the bread and cheese, they were actually very nice. Otherwise overpriced to start with and even then it was a case of "find the cod" in the cod dish. I had the chicken supreme which was a dried out piece of panfried chicken breast with plain boiled rice, no salad of veg. For €16.50 per main, far too expensive. Even when husband complained about a lack of cod the waiter took his fork, poked around in his food and admitted there was little fish. I would say no fish. Came back 10 mins later with 4 bite size pieces of cod and onions to add to his by now cold plate of potatoes and onions. We would have been really angry except clearly everyone else in the restaurant had equally poor food. Many other dishes returned. And many more not eaten. The Portuguese family beside us were mortified and apologised that we, as tourist, had experienced this. However thanks to this family we were able to laugh about it. We reassured them all our other food experiences were great. I would advise to NEVER go here even with the promise of free Fado. I rarely would give a bad review but this is possibly the worst food experience of my life. Fado was enjoyable but don't buy food!!!

Ótimo atendimento, boa refeição e muito boa fadista.

Tipico restarurante para turistas. Não é um restaurante acolhedor , não pelas pessoas pq o staff é simpatico, mas o local tem uma decoração antiquada e nada apelativa. Pratos bem confecionados mas por mais aprumado que seja o prato ( que não o é) nada justifica estar 40m à espera para ser servida. Preços muito altos, lá está bom para os turistas. De qualquer modo não recomendo. Parabens à fadista, muito boa.

Tourist trap, over priced for very bad food and really bad service. Menu is basic and confusing. Charged more for the main we ordered, 19,50 instead of 16,50. We got charged 8 euro for cheese and 8 euro for chorizo that we didn't even ask for. Main seafood rice was like a bowl of slop with more shells then seafood. No taste and no flavour. Service very bad, waiter had no clue about the menu but basically told us what to eat. We wanted to order something else and got told we aren't going to like it. Music was nice but we're told to shut up during the performance. We weren't talking loudly just had a quiet conversation. I feel that is very disrespectful as paying customer I believe I have the right to enjoy a romantic night with my partner and have a conversation. The only thing we enjoyed was the music such a shame everything else was so disappointing. The card machine was broken apparently so we had to pay cash and wait for the change ages. All in all we feel we got robbed and treated badly. I would avoid at all costs Many nice places around. Places like this give tourist destinations a bad name. A

Real tourist trap ........ Our 2 first places were full so we decided to go there because the guy at the door was really good selling this restaurant. Food was really disappointing, wine was not good at all for 20Euros for a liter.... It is the first time in my reviews that I am giving 1 star but it is really deserves it.

Leider können wir für dieses Lokal keine positiven Worte finden. Das Service Personal war mehr als überfordert, wir mussten knapp eine Stunde auf die Rechnung von zwei Getränken warten. Die Karte war sehr einfältig und nicht jedermanns Sache, da man als Vegetarier leider nicht auf seine Kosten kommt. Zudem sind die Preise viel zu überzogen.

I was there because it looked nice and they had fado, live band. The food and music was worth every cent. The staff was friendly and the musicians were professional and absolutly awesome. Great atmosphere. Thank you for the beautiful evening!!

Nope. This is the place where tourists get literally grabbed to get in, drink something and be charged without notice. I didn't like this service, I just heard a good voice of the Fado singer and decided to go in but I won't do that again nor suggest it. The beer is already 6 euro (which is totally crazy and I thought already consisting of the Fado experience) and 4 euro per person more were charged I don't know why and for what.

A eviter Les plats sont beaucoup trop chers (au moins 2 fois ce que vaut partout ailleurs et de pietre qualite) Le vin : nous avons commande 1 bouteille, on nous a servi un pichet qui s'apparentait plus a du vinaigre qu'a du vin. Pour le fado : seuls des hommes ont chanté, pas trop mal. Nous aurions aimé écouter des femmes. Bref à vous de voir. Nous n'y retournerons pas. 80€ pour 2 plats sans saveur et 1 pichet de vinaigre. Unbelievably nice, everyone was very caring. If I would go for the other reviews I would have never come to this place. But as Portuguese I found this an amazing experience. The food was very well cooked as a Portuguese person would consider it. Great evening, I would definitely come back.

ADEGA DOS FADISTAS Very disappointed with the food .and the prices charged. A few pieces of pork with just a bit of salad, three small potatoes and a small slice of pineapple it's over 16 euros, a few small pieces of sausage for 8 euros and a small glass of draft beer at 4.5 euros adding to it just a poor delivery service, it's ridiculously costly. I understand that the singers have to be paid, but for what I heard it's not much.This place was only worth for the Fado music sung by Lucia Mourinho, Eduardo Almeida , & Jose Manuel Barreto. My rating of 2.5 is for the artists alone and 0 for the place. There are better and cheaper places. Do your homework. It's a shame that this kind of gauging the tourists exist which in turn might backfire by turning them off and seach for cheaper alternative somewhere else.

Went in for drinks and all went well until we tried to pay, took forever to get the bill and when we got it we were told we have to pay 20€ for two glasses of wine...apparently they had a 10€ minumum but failed to tell us that. The fado was lovely but thats about it. Left feeling very unhappy, wouldn't recommend or go back ever.

Dommage que ce soit un piège à touristes car la cuisine est correcte et le Fado ce soir là était très agréable à écouter. Mais, à l'intérieur, le service n'est pas à la hauteur. On pose sur votre table dès votre arrivée, diverses entrées. N'hésitez pas à les renvoyer si vous ne voulez pas faire grimper votre note !

The food was by far the worst of our entire trip. The cod was inedible and hard as leather. Incredibly, it was also the most expensive meal we had in Lisbon. It’s really too bad because the music was quite good. But absolutely avoid and find music elsewhere.

Vous êtes invités à un "repas" tout compris pour 25€ et Fado . Cependant la viande est très salée , pas le choix de l'accompagnement . Quand arrive le temps du dessert vous choisissez la mousse au chocolat on vous dit qu'il n'y en a plus mais en indiquant que vous ne prendrez pas autre chose on finit par vous amener un espèce de mélange sucre et chocolat . A éviter si on veut se régaler.

À éviter absolument ! On vous propose une soirée fado à 25€, entrée, plat, dessert et boisson ! Sauf que , y a plus de bière la machine ne fonctionne pas oups 15 minutes après la serveuse passe avec une bière, viande beaucoup trop salée, mousse au chocolat la pire de ma vie, horriblement sucrée, le sucre croque sous la dent et elle n'a même pas la texture d'une mousse, service terriblement long et vraiment c'était pas notre jour comme par hasard l'appareil à carte bancaire était en panne! Une honte pour la profession !

The fish is from last week and it smells like a corpse, i usually eat everything in my plate but this one i had to return. They insisted that's the Portugal way, i could only say that's the worst meal i had in the trip and quite possibly in my life. The wine is not good either. Just avoid this place

Tourist trap with very confusing menu, with prices in first menu lower than the bill. Don’t accept cards and excuses themselves that card machine just stopped working, same as year before! After returning money they try to take time and return less than should. Fado was good but would not suggest anybody as there are other fado places where you can meet honest people.

Not good- worst food we had in Portugal. Two stars because the wine was decent and the fado was good. I had the seabass, it came with boiled potatoes (no seasoning or salt or anything) and a side simple salad...lettuce tomato onion. Fish was nothing special but edible. My husband had the steak. It was a flank steak, plain, same potatoes but he got 3 pieces of potatoes and the same salad. Super overpriced. Asked for the bill between sets, were originally told we couldn't get it because of the show. We insisted stating that's why we wanted it then, before the next set started. The waitress reluctantly got it for us. Dont go here. Or just have a wine and the show.

Scandaleux!!!! On a attendu 30 min pour avoir la carte puis encore 40 min pour avoir des plats à peine mangeables! Un steak caoutchouteux beaucoup trop cuit et trop salé et cela pour 18,50€! Il faut appeler cauchemars en cuisine à ce point là.. Si vous voulez juste un verre de sangria ? Pas possible! Vous ne pouvez prendre que un litre et pour 25€! Par contre, le fado était très sympa!

Bahahahahahha...85€ for 2 entrees, covers and a sangria(25€) ...worst food for entire trip and we had one or two others that were not great, but this one stole the show. Having said that it was edible probably because I was hungry and we were stuck there at that point. Although covers were expensive for what they were they were ok I thought, but sometimes when you are hungry dirt can taste good...just being bitter, they were ok, but really pricy. The sets were rather short which is probably normal I guess so you can service tables..dunno first time for fado....the first 2 tunes the musicians were pretty far out of the pocket. Strong voices and pretty skilled players, just took a minute to pull it together. First set female sang and then she sat and ate drank and smoked for the next couple of sets. We left before we could hear her again. Really wanted to as she was quite good as was the male. I suppose the staff was nice enough, but I’m sure if I expressed my disappointment they might have turned. I politely paid (once they could borrow a debit machine from another restaurant-sounds crazy right?). Thing is when I arrived I confirmed with the door person that they took visa, but different story when I went to pay. Anyway I refused to go to bank machine to get cash as a matter of principle and they sorted. I would have if it really came down to it. I was thankful they sorted it. honestly it seemed the comedy we were experiencing was consistent with most of the tables. Because it was out last night in Lisbon and my birthday we chose to laugh about it. So food sucked particularly for the price but musicians and singers were talented. Went to see fado and have dinner but ended up a very overpriced comedy show. If you go I would do what the girls next to us did (they must have read the reviews) They had olives and 2 beer, no food - just came to hear the show. Would not recommend. If you are thinking of it and reading they number of negative reviews and the few positive which are likely mostly fake yet still thinking it can’t be that bad it really is. If you go well be prepared to laugh about it otherwise you are going to ruin your night. Ps. Anyone who complains about being asked to be quiet during a performance (like in a couple of the reviews) should learn to have more respect for the artists.

Vorsicht! Mindestverzehr 10 €/pro Person! Selbst wenn man nur EIN Bier trinkt, zahlt man 10 €! Die Fado sänger sind wirklich sehr gut gewesen, aber dann sollte man das klar machen, das man was für den Eintritt des Konzertes zahlen soll. Fast jedes Geschirrteil war dreckig und die Preise für Getränke und Essen übertrieben teuer. Normale Getränke ca. 5€.

Com a escolha circundante é impensável voltar a tal sítio. Ao telefone foi-me dado varias opções de jantar e no local foi-me oferecido bifanas... Sim é uma casa de fados mas também é um restaurante e como tal devia funcionar dessa maneira.

Ofereceram um voucher para ir a este restaurante aos meus pais e decidi comprar e também ir Bem, que desilusão... As entradas eram boas O fado muito bom, mas não se enganem, as coisas boas ficam por aqui... Comida do pior que já vi Ementa diz que é grelhado , empregado diz que é no carvão, mas depois vem frito para a mesa Pedi um bife de vaca grelhado médio , veio uma sola de sapato frita , dura e fina acompanhado de arroz sem sal Para sobremesa pedi mousse de limão que era natas mal batidas (estavam líquidas) com açúcar e uma rodela de limão Os preços das bebidas são absurdos, uma coca cola de lata são 4€, um jarro de vinho 18€, a sangria 20€ Voltarei a um restaurante ver os fadistas, mas nunca mais a este ...

Good fado but the worst organized restaurant I’ve ever been to, from seating to mistakes on the bill. Food mediocre and overpriced compared to other places on the street, almost undrinkable house wine. Brought bread, cheese, and chorizo without our asking for it, and charged 8 euros for one small bowl of chorizo. There are plenty of better places on this street alone.

I'll have to disagree with the other comments. I thought the food was solid, although not outstanding. The Fado more than compensated, and the service was good. The waiters and the owner were attentive and thoughtful.

Um embuste! Estava tudo a correr bem até chegar a conta. E com voucher, imaginem! Tiveram o desplante de cobrar um jarro de vinho que o funcionário disse que tínhamos direito. A não repetir.

Absolute Touristenfalle! Es werden einem zu Beginn Brot, Käse und Salami auf den Tisch gestellt. Kosten 8€ für Billigkäse, 6€ für die Salami und 3€ für das Brot. Dazukommt 6€ für ein Bier. Dann hat man noch nichts richtiges gegessen...

Horror. The real " tourist trap". I'm Portuguese but fell for it. Don't even know where to start. Terrible food, cheap meat soked in vegetable oil. Terrible service, my table was serviced by three employees- they all came to ask the same, none of them knew what the other two were doing. Had to order the same thing three times. When it finally came, the quality was horrible. The owner was just running around like crazy trying to get more clients in the place. When I wanted to pay I had to wait ages again because they just wouldn't bring me the bill - again had to ask to the three of them. In the end 80 euros for crappy fast food !!!! Please avoid, you can have SO much better for less money in other places. One last note - we only went there because all the nice places were booked out, so if you have a chance book in advance. We were robbed in this place. Avoid.

El sainete de los fados Nos atraparon en la calle y preguntamos las condiciones, nos contestaron que nada de extras por el fado, que cenar. A la hora de cenar te plantan unos aperitivos consistentes en chorizo y queso valorados en 19€. No estaban mal de sabor. Luego nos quisieron obligar a pedir dos platos:16-19€ cada plato. Un precio bastante mas alto de lo común en la zona. El vino de vergüenza: 5€ la copa de un vino muy regulero, 4€ la botella pequeña de agua. El fado estaba bien, nos sorprendió que tocaran 6 canciones a las horas en punto y los músicos salían corriendo a tocar en otros locales de la zona. Aquello es una feria, y nosotros fuimos el turista típico que cae en ma trampa. Se entiende que te cobren un poco mas por el fado, o incluso que te cobren una entrada, pero los precios de este local son algo exagerados para lo que ofrecen. Tardaron 1 h en traer la cuenta, y no eramos los unicos , el gerente no deja a sus camareras que hagan cuentas ni toquen el dinero y la verdad que fue bastante grosero con nosotros dando su opinión sobre lo que debíamos o no cenar. Yo solo iría a este local a verle a él con su sainete, es de lo mas cómico.

Atendimento um bocado atabalhoado, e pelo que percebemos seria porque éramos clientes com vouchers. Ficamos desagradados mas o dono lá conseguiu redimir-se. A comida estava óptima, e bem servida. Grande noite de fados!

The Fado was fantastic, the food not so much. Like other Fado places, they'll place 18 euros worth of starters, such as bread and cheese, at your table and not tell you that you have to pay for them, so beware. The house wine is also a bit sour. Fado is infrequent but high quality; we seemed to get 10-15 minutes per hour. Still, the restaurant rotates its male singers, which is nice. The doorman in particular gave a very entertaining tenor performance. They follow the men with the same woman, who was also exceptional. All said, we can't recommend the food, but the Fado is great. There are definitely worse ways to spend a Friday night in Lisbon.

Comida bem confeccionada, bom atendimento.local com decoração rústica.tivemos um óptimo jantar,ouvindo fado e uma das vozes era o famoso fadisya António Pinto Bastos.

Os fadistas 5 estrelas, mas a organização é péssima, falta de simpatia do dono do estabelecimento principalmente com os clientes que tem vaucher, fiquei desiludida.

Rabatteur très sympa mais une fois à l'intérieur c'est 10€ minimum par personne de consommation hors boissons. Pour boire un verre à deux c'est un litre minimum de sangria. Encore une fois piège à touristes à fuir absolument

A fuir!!!! même si c'est la famine sur Lisbonne Rabatteuse qui fait son job à l'entrée et une fois à l'intérieur le pigeon est cuit !!! 8 euros 1 litre d'eau , 20 euros un pichet de vin qui sert plus à déboucher les canalisations . Les serveurs sont très désagréables , la machine à carte bleue, comme par hazard, ne fonctionne pas Seul point positif ce sont les chanteurs de fado . Si vous cherchez un bon restaurant , surtout passez votre chemin par contre si vous voulez vous faire arnaquer vous êtes les bienvenus !! C'est vraiment dommage que ce genre d'établissement donne une image négative de ce beau pays qui sait si bien accueillir les gens .

Same negative feedback that can be consulted on the list of comments. It was the only one available at that time so we have to tried despite the ratings and we can confirm that 1 star is more than enough. Extremely poor service: rude people, a lot of mistakes in the orders, 1 of 9 persons had to dinner from the other's food because they just forgot it, 1 of 9 persons had to wait 30mins after the others were served so the person dinned alone. In a nutshell, this is not something that you'd like to remember in Lisbon. There are a lot of good things out there. Enjoy Portugal.

Absolutely horrible! Execrable services and food, extremely overpriced. Stay away from this place. Too bad that they destroy the fado experience for so many customers. Additionally, we found hair in the food. Half of the, already scarce menu, not available. Rude.

Wir kamen spät an und uns blieb nur das Adega, da die gut bewerteten lokale bereits belegt waren. Das Adega ist nicht zu empfehlen. Es ist nur auf Touristen ausgelegt, mit nervigem Fotografen, der während des Essens fotografieren wollte. Das Essen kam nicht zeitgleich und die Qualität der Speisen war teilweise schlecht. Der Fado an sich war jedoch sehr gut und beeindruckend. Die Speisen- und insbesondere die Getränkepreise waren deutlich zu hoch.

Appalling service and very expensive with small water at €4. 2 stars only because the Fado was very good although the intermission between the two singers was too long at around 45min.

Nice service at the beginning, but then we complained about the awful food. How could they destroy a fish that way. I think it has been in the microwaveoven four times before it was served at our table. The Fado was 10 times better than the food an the price.

De plus, être obligé de payer en espèces parce que soit-disant "le terminal de paiement est en panne" (alors qu'on sait pertinemment que le proprio cherche juste à déclarer moins de recettes ...) Cerise sur le gâteau, une fuite d'eau à l'étage a inondé notre table et nous n'avons même pas été déplacés ... tout juste un petit sceau posé sur la table ... Malgré tout, le spectacle était bon, les chanteurs/musiciens étaient talentueux et ont réussi à faire oublier la piètre performance du restaurant.

Óptima noite de fado ... era mos dois casais, entradas queijo e chouriço, sanguia muita e dois pratos escolhidos polvo á lagareiro e costoletas porco preto, arroz doce e cafés ( pouco quentes ) bons fadistas e músicos saimos cerca 1h 30 AM aconselho. Quem tiver pressa vá ao Mc Donald.

Horrible place! Service is terrible, the owner was very rude to me when I was paying my bill and I told him was overpriced, he told me that is normal in Fado houses, I told him not, and he accused me I don't know how is a Fado house like if he knew me. I am from Lisbon and I have gone to other Fado houses so I know is not true and in the other houses the food and fado are very good so you understand if you pay a little more than in a normal restaurant. They have a waitrose who the owner thinks speaks many languages but the clients of the table next to us were speaking in italian to her and she answered in spanish. We needed to translate to them in Italian. She even doesn't speak well spanish or English. The owners don't speak any other language than portuguese so don't realise that the waitrose can't communicate well with the tourists. Food is very average for portuguese food and not even cooked there, is brought from another restaurant owned by same owner. Overpriced, was charged £20 for a jar of bad wine, the same wine they sell at the restaurant but 4x overpriced. The fado was average too, nothing especial, the fadistas didn't seem very happy there. Felt that they just want to rob from tourists!

Adorei Tive o prazer de conhecer este espaço maravilhoso. Ambiente familiar,espaço muito agradável e a comida estava ótima,a sangria era divinal.. Jantar e ouvir fados é maravilhoso,fomos um grupo de 8 pessoas e correu tudo muito bem. Experiência a repetir

Très sympathique pour vous faire rentrer dans le resto mais une fois installé le service est fort désagréable. Nous sommes rentrés uniquement pour voir le fado et boire un verre. La carte des boissons ne nous à pas été donnée et personne ne nous a informé d'un montant minimum obligatoire. Résultat 20 euros pour deux pintes. Obligé dans prendre une troisième pour profiter des 20 euros. 20 minutes pour avoir une note pour deux pintes et il uniquement écrit taxe consommation minimum et pas ce qui a été consommé. Bref fado très sympathique d'où une étoile mais resto à éviter.

Bon, MAIS, très très cher 4 euro une petite bouteille d'eau , le personnel est très gentil pour vous faire rentrer dans le restau mais une fois dedans ils sont très désagréable. Le service est super long. Les doses servies dans les assietes sont ridicules par rapport au prix. Bref éviter

Way too expansive for the bad service! The starters are double the normal price in lisbon and you get them before you even have seen the menu. we paid for one pitcher of sangria 20€!! It's hot in there and the waiter is not organized at all. Waited 20 minutes for the bill. You can have way better food for a lower price and better service anywhere else in lisbon.

Polvo and Fado, for when you don't have a reservation, lol The octopus is good, but the Fado is better. Clearly if you could've gotten into one of the best Fado houses, you won't stoop to going to Adega, but on a busy Saturday night when you didn't make a reservation, this is a cool place to eat while listening to Fado. Remember that you're there for the music, the food is good but you're paying a lot extra for the music. Limited menu too, so make sure that you like something on it.

Comida de primera calidad , ambiente acojedor y fantastico , atendimiento fenomenal , y sobre todo tienen um portero de lujo hablando varios idiomas muy educado y muy bien vestido ,solo le doy 5 estrellas porque no tiene mas si no le dava 10.

Only had Drinks there. Really awful house wine. But the fado performance starting at 11pm was great. The singing sessions were only 15 minutes following a smoking pause of 15 minutes. After two singing rounds we left the horrible wine nearly untouched. There is def better locations for Fado in Almada.

Jantei neste restaurante em 2015.10.03, e foi dos piores sítios em que já jantei. Só depois de me sentar é que reparei que era um restaurante para turista, que por sinal estavam a reclamar. A qualidade é terrível, é ainda por cima, é caro. Não recomendo, de todo! Tiago

É o restaurante mais fraudulento em que já estive. Enganam os clientes deliberadamente em todas as oportunidades. Pão atrasado, azeite do mais rasco possível e comprado no indiano. Bacalhau mal cheiroso de ter sido congelado e descongelado várias vezes ficando sequissimo ao assar, vendem Escalopes da pior carne de vaca que podemos encontrar no talho, o menu mais rasca e sem opções que vi em muito tempo. Vouchers então preparem-se para serem enganados cara podre. Escolhem dum menu, pratos que depois no restaurante nem existem, vão convencidos que compraram uma coisa e quando lá chegar descobre que é quase tudo uma grande mentira. E para terminar quando for a pagar e pedir o multibanco prepare-se para ouvir uma história estranha do porquê não terem pagamento com cartão, quando a máquina está escondida para obrigar a pagar com dinheiro, ou então desligam o cabo e fingem que não tem rede. Ficava aqui até amanhã a enumerar as falhas escandalosas desta tasca porca que cobra a preços de casa de fados

mau atendimento, 2horas á espera da fraca refeição (só tinham 3 pratos),realmente deixou muito a desejar. Excelente Fadista e só valeu por isso!!
