Highly recommend this place for staying in Alvor. Very close to town centre and the beach. Great selection of bars and places for food in the area. Only letdown is the absence of air conditioning. But apart from that the rooms are spacious and great for a small group or a family. Can be loud on a nighttime but it depends what side your room is on, if you want quiet, ask for a pool view.

Descontraído. Perto de tudo. Centro praia e hipermercados. Piscina excelente e não demasiado povoada. Muitos turistas britânicos mas do tipo relaxados e para descansar pelo que não é aquele ambiente estrangeiro no nosso próprio país.

This was a great size apartment for family of 3 or even 4. Pool is fab! Good area for food and drinks. Bit noisy late but your on hols so ok. Just need some TLC on rooms, little aesthetic touch’s (change light bulb, adjust drawers in kitchen, get new kettle ).

Excelente localização mas tem problemas de insonorização (pelo menos o apartamento onde fiquei). Em 7 noites de estadia foi efetuada apenas 1 limpeza e troca de toalhas ao 2o dia (aspeto a melhorar)

We have been going here for many years until the 2 major tour operators stopped doing package deals to it, this I think was due to the complex who having realised that as Alvor has grown as a golf resort that they can make more money renting the rooms privately, it has 2 bars that are child friendly and well priced as well as a snack bar, the pool is gated and open only to those who are in the apartments, you can however use the pool if you are not staying at the Dunas for a cost of 10 euros pppd, the pool is the biggest in the town area and always clean and tidy, the complex however is starting to look tired and worn and could do with some external work, the rooms are large and spacious and the complex is 5 minutes from the lower town area and taxi rank. It is a great place to stay and well located.

Excellent apartments, great location, easy walk to the beach which clean and plenty of sun loungers. The small town of Alvor has plenty of restaurants and bars. No free WiFi in rooms but can purchase but most restaurants and bars have free WiFi not a greet problem.

We really enjoyed our stay at Torralvor. The 1 bedroom apartment catered for all our needs and was very clean. The staff were very helpful if we had a query.The complex has a big swimming pool and spacious sunbed area. There is also a couple of bars and bistros on site with all staff very pleasant.We will definitely return here.

ruim en net appartement. inrichting gedateerd maar dat kan je verwachting in deze omgeving. zwembad is toe aan onderhoud.

No recommendation due to Robbery happening.My parents are elderly and in there second day they were robbed by persons unknown who accessed apartment and safe with keys. We met at least two more people this happened to with same management company. All safes need changing to keypads. Proper insurance to cover the losses needs putting in place. Security patrolling would provide reassurance. No veranda doors should be left open by cleaners and locks with keys that cannot be copied need installing.

Le plus intéressant c'est la proximité de la plage et du village et des restaurant. J'ajoute a cela sa piscine bien grande et toujours propre sinon le grand inconvénient je trouve c'est la literie( ma famille et moi avons dormis super mal!!! On a tous mal au dos au réveil ... ) Mais sinon dans l'ensemble reste un bon appart hotel.

Excellent spacious and clean apartments with huge pool and tennis court surrounded by various restaurants and bars with cheap snacks and drinks. No air con may affect some people but we found the apartment cool and airy, and would definitely return. 5 min walk to beach and 3 min walk into Alvor village. Location faultless. There are two management companies who run the apartments, Torralvor and Summer Ability so make sure you know which one you book with as this can lead to confusion when checking in especially after office hours. Wifi is available at an extra cost but free with some of the café bars around the complex. Also EU roaming charges are now scrapped so its not an issue any longer with free data roaming on our home network.
