My wife and I stayed in the Garden Suite on our honeymoon and we can’t say enough good things about Casa Balthazar. The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of everything, but still quiet. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My luggage got lost by one of the airlines and the front desk staff helped me locate it. They gave great recommendations on places to buy new clothes since I was out of luggage for over a week. They arranged a very affordable and informative tuk tuk tour with Sandra. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast that is served was delicious. It consisted of fresh squeezed orange juice (seriously, the best I’ve ever tasted), meat, cheese, and a variety of pastries that changed every day. We cannot wait to come back and stay at Casa Balthazar again!

We have the cottage which is very nice accommodation. CB is near most of the attractions and the main shopping district. Night entertainment can be heard from the room occasionally (just part of the charm of being near to everything). They have onsite parking. CB is off the street and has a private security gate.

차타고 갔는데 간판이 너무 작아서 찾는데 애먹었습니다. 숙박비 저렴하고 룸컨디션 굉장히 좋습니다. 겨울에 방문했는데 야외수영장 물이 따뜻해서 좋았습니다. 벨보이가 인도사람이였는데 굉장히 친절하였습니다. 조용하고 여러모로 흡족한 곳이었습니다.

Von der Casa Balthazar waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Die Lage ist großartig, der Empfangsbereich sehr schön und zum Wohlfühlen, das Zimmer fällt dann aber stark ab. Wir hatten einen Raum „Castel Jacuzzi Terrace“. Das Zimmer ist klein, die Einrichtung zusammengestückelt und es passt nichts so richtig zusammen, das Bad ist arg spackig und müsste mal renoviert werden. Vor allem aber ist das Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Wenn jemand draußen durch den Gang geht oder im Nachbarzimmer duscht, hört man jedes Wort und jedes Geräusch. Wenn die Eingangstür zu diesem Gebäudeteil ins Schloss fällt, gibt es einen lauten Rumms und die Wand wackelt, und mit ihr das Bett. Beim ersten Mal hatten wir uns fürchterlich erschrocken. Wir hatten deshalb das Bett etwas von der Wand weggestellt, so dass sich die Vibrationen nicht von der Wand aufs Bett übertragen. Wenn die letzten Nachbarn nachts um drei nach Hause kommen, ist man wach, und wenn die ersten um 6 aufstehen, ist man ebenfalls wach. Wem das nichts ausmacht, der wohnt hier wirklich gut.

Located near the train station and elevator right off the tourist attractions, this adult only hotel is very quite and comfortable stay. The cottage suite has no views and might need little update in interior....but is very roomy,.. has kitchen area with full dishes, cups, utencils and cooking appliance. Clean and good shower. Furniture are country style and comfortable...bedding were excellent. The hotel offers gated private parking lot....must and very convenient. The staffs were professional and knowledgeable of the attractions and makes efforts to give you better service. Breakfast in your room had good pastries...yummy!..no eggs. It was good stay!!

I had a one night stay in the Casa Balthazar Rossio Terrace when in Lisbon recently and can’t recommend it highly enough. It is the ultimate in cool and a must when visiting the city for every traveller. The hotel has obviously been designed by someone who could take the original building and embellish it with even more beauty. The terrace overlooks the city and gives you the perfect view of amazing Lisbon. In addition, there is a pool, a garden area and bar just to make your stay that extra special. Every turn feels cozy and classy. The view does top it off and give you that feeling you are on the set of a movie! It sits on a great location in Lisbon, giving you access to transport routes and wonderful local cafes, bars and restaurants. What more could you want? It is situated along a quiet lane in the city and this meant a great sleep during my stay. The fittings are what you would expect from a boutique hotel in a modern city, so you won’t leave disappointed.

Un precioso oasis elegante y con encanto en el medio del centro de Lisboa. Personal amable y muy servicial. El hotel tiene un muy pequeño parking donde es difícil aparcar y muy difícil de llegar en coche hasta allí porque el hotel se encuentra en un callejón muy angosto y sin salida. Si vas con automóvil es complicado y nadie te avisa. Por lo demás es un 10.

Two nights of quiet perfection An oasis hiding in Bairro Alto, with incredible staff and gorgeous accommodations. The suite was spacious and quiet with great bedding, and a very nice shower. The view was beautiful as were the grounds of the place. Very chill vibe with lots of relaxed communal space as well. Strong recommendation

If you're looking for an oasis for adults in the center of the city, this is the spot. Relaxed elegance, unpretentious, warm and friendly. You enter a plain green hard to find door off a side street, and find yourself in an immaculate courtyard that leads to the reception area. It's all old, but clean with modern touches. The rooms are airy, white and unique, and most of all quiet, though you're in the middle of the city. The pool is small, clean, and unused the entire time we were here. Breakfast is included and. Insisted of the best pastries we've ever eaten... almost reason enough to come. The staff is pleasant, competent and reserved and the location is perfect.

Encantador lugar en Lisboa. Muy céntrico y tranquilo.

Eine Oase inmitten von Lissabon. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sehr zentral gelegen, gute, ruhige Zimmer und einfach alles da was es braucht. Wir durften wählen, an welchem romantischen Platz wir gerne das Frühstück einnehmen wollten. Parkplatz ist im abgeschlossenen Hotelvorhof vorhanden, was wir ebenfalls schätzten. Gerne kommen wir wieder hierher.

La bomba! Un gran lugar en el que quedarse en Lisboa. habitaciones con terraza con vistas a todo Lisboa, bien situado, con piscina climatizada. Equipo muy amable.
