Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön am Aufzug Santa Bica in der Altstadt von Lissabon gelegen. Gute Verkehrsverbindungen (Metro, Bahn, Schiff, Straßenbahn) über die Station Cais so Sodre. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Direkt vor den Zimmerfenstern ist das zugehörige lebhafte, sehr gute Lokal mit landestypischen Speisen. Tagsüber hört man auch den Betrieb des Santa Bica Aufzugs. Beides hat uns aber nicht gestört..Die Frühstückszeit beginnt um 9 Uhr, auf Anfrage wurde aber ein kleines Frühstück (Brot mit Butter, Schinken/Käse, Marmelade; Saft, Wasser) vorher bereitgestellt.
Serviço impecável e empregado do melhor (Bruno). Só não tem 5 estrelas porque a espetada de porco estava um pouco seca.

O espaço é muito acolhedor e agradável. Está inserido numa zona histórica da cidade, ao lado do elevador da Bica.
O restaurante tem uma oferta diversificada tendo a opção de petiscos. O problema é que estando cheio, o serviço é muito lento, tendo um tempo de espera demasiado grande.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa location per cinque notti. Non posso definirlo un hotel in quanto le camere disponibili sono solo 4. Quello che posso dire è che questo bed eat & drink è davvero una chicca. Vicino al centro, vicino ai mezzi di trasporto, pulito e con personale molto cordiale e simpatico. Per non parlare del ristorante che definirei eccezionale... a partire dallo staff veramente affabile, alle portate una più buona dell'altra. Super il tonno grigliato e il polipo, accompagnati da verdurine stuzzicanti e per finire la patatine fritte con la buccia che sono una bontà. Ottima anche la colazione. Grazie a tutti per il bel trattamento ricevuto. Obrigado

Super B&B, lekker ontbijt, heerlijk diner en altijd paraat als je vragen hebt. De kamers zij nentjes en proper, en zeer groot. Het terras geeft wel wat lawaai maar, rond 12 uur is het meestal wel rustig en de ramen dempen veel geluid. Toplocatie ook, nabij de winkelstraten, het water en openbaar vervoer. Wel eeh stijle bergen, maar die hebben zijn charme en zal je nog tegenkomen als je veel tevoet doet :)

The ambiance and server was very nice but the food was lack luster.
We got the olives, meat and cheese, and fried potato skins to start. The olives were good but the potato skins were bland. For meals we got the steak and cheese which was a bland steak covered in a weird white cheese mixture. We also got the grilled cod which didn’t taste fresh and was saturated in olive oil.
We were sorely disappointed as we have been traveling through Europe for the past month and this was the only bad meal we had. We certainly weren’t expecting it based on its 4.6 star rating, but it seems this place doesn’t live up to the hype.

Durante la mia visita a Lisbona ho soggiornato al Santa Bica B&b. La camera, con bagno, era ordinata e pulita. Cambio asciugamani tutti i giorni. La colazione ottima e abbondante. Non ho provato il ristorante, aperto dalle 18 in poi, ma gli altri ospiti mi hanno assicurato che è ottimo e i prezzi sono onesti. Il personale molto educato, gentile e disponibile. Il giorno della partenza ho potuto lasciar e in deposito i bagagli tutta la mattinata. Il Santa bica si trova giusto sul percorso di 2 dei tram più famosi (e sovraffollati) di Lisbona. Scendendo a Cais do Sodre (500mt.) Sì trova stazione dei treni, bus, tram, metro e traghetto...quindi piuttosto tattica come posizione. Suggestivo l'Elevador che consente di evitare la lunga scalinata che porta al B&b. A circa 100 mt. Di distanza si può prendere il tram 28 che consente di vedere in velocità i luoghi più turistici. Ricordatevi di comprare la Lisboa Card. Io ho fatto quella da 72 ore (40€). Musei gratuiti e pass per tutti i mezzi di trasporto (tram turistico compreso). Considerato che una corsa singola si aggira sui 2.50- 2.90 e i musei di media hanno un 6/7 € per entrata, si risparmia parecchio Tutto il quartiere è molto pittoresco. Molta vita fino a tarda ora.

Food Quality not good and everything is solely done for the tourists.
The waiters force people to make choices - bread and olives are suggested every time. Waiters tend to speed up to maximise the number of guests per table. Not really nice if you want to enjoy a nice diner. Even though the prices are fair, for the quality you get it is def not worth it. We definitively do not recommend it. Not good.

The hotel is small, no 24-hour lobby but can be reached by phone. Very nice people and service. Good breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms. The only problem is that all rooms face the reataurant terrace, which means conversation noise in the evenings. Not a huge deal, just an observation. The room was very comfortable, recently renovated, clean modern design but there was no WiFi in the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The best location! Smallish room, but very well maintained. Nice interior style. The hotel lobby is not attended 7×24, call the hotel number to get someone check you in. Very nice, helpful staff. It looks like all guest rooms' windows face the restaurant's dining terrace ( in other words, no view). But the location is superb. Would stay again.

Had a wonderful dinner here. We also ordered the salad with the sardines but I was too busy eating it and forgot to take a picture. The wine was white and amazing. And the other dish we had is an octopus salad. Our server was Bruno and he was amazing! Very good place to eat when in Lisbon. You should also try the tuna stake as it is the specialty.

Visitámos este restaurante num domingo à noite. Possivelmente éramos os únicos portugueses, pelo que deve ser normalmente mais visitado por turistas. A esplanada é muito agradável. Apesar de estar fresco na rua, a esplanada está protegida do vento o que faz com que se esteja bastante bem. Éramos 6 pessoas e pedimos 5 entradas (croquetes, cogumelos, cascas de batatas, ovos com espargos e moelas) e 3 pratos principais (polvo à lagareiro e naco). A comida estava bastante boa. De sobremesas pedimos o bolo de chocolate, o leite creme e o pecado da bica. As opiniões dividiram-se, mas a que mais gostei foi do pecado da bica (chantilly, morangos, bolacha e leite condensado). O atendimento é muito simpático e tem uma boa relação qualidade-preço.

Der eine Sterne dient lediglich der Übernachtung. Absolut laut, keine Ruhe, die Zimmer liegen direkt an der restaurantterasse. Wer also eine ruhige Nacht erwartet ist am falschen Ort. Frühstück ist auch nicht besonders. Der Service ist toll und sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker dafür würde es definitiv mehr Sterne geben.

Great location if a little gritty! Very central. Check in and out was relatively easy. Room was excellent. Very clean except there were some kind of worms in the toilet when we arrived. Owner said it’s the hot weather and they come up the pipes. Complimentary Continental breakfast was excellent. Not suitable if mobility is a problem as in a steep hill.

Luogo scelto per caso, per la vicinanza al Barrio Alto e per le recensioni positive. Ingresso anonimo, che nasconde un cortile privato carino ma piccino. Ci sono diversi tavoli in uno spazio contenuto, con qualche difficoltà nel passaggio dei camerieri o nel caso di alzarsi per andare in bagno ecc. Personale accogliente e gentile: dopo un'attesa di circa 10-15 minuti ci accomodiamo on 6. Il cameriere ci spiega il menù rispondendo alle nostre domande. Dopo un'attesa congrua arrivano 5 portate, e per la sesta aspettiamo altri 10 Min circa (da migliorare questo aspetto). Carne e pesce di buona qualità, buono il tonno (il piatto arrivato tardi rispetto agli altri) ed il polipo, molto morbida la carne. Il conto in media/linea con le attese (speso circa 18€ a testa con piatto, appetizers, 1 bottiglia di vino e caffè).

Expedia offers the hotel as being in Chiado district and it is not. It’s in a very sketchy part of the city where people are selling drugs on the street (common in Lisbon but extremely common in this area). Hotel is a bar with rooms and is extremely noisy. Not access to public transportation. One of the cleaning ladies tossed away a souvenir I bought because she thought it was trash! The person at check in was nice and helpful but they don’t have a front desk so good luck if you try to get a hold on any of them to let them know about any issues.

What I thought was going to be a negative experience simply because i missed out on seeing the door bell, turned out to be the best place to stay in Lisbon!!! I loved the interior which has a mix of latin and nordic style. Clean, fresh and the food is to die for!!! Staff are also an assett to add to the hotel. They are calm, contained and very friendly especially the lady who checked me in. I was tired and frustrated cause i thought they were closed and she dealt with me in the best possible way as understood i was very tired and couldnt wait to get into my flat shoes!!! It is centrally located to all major attractions, minutes away from the metro and everything else you need to do or see!!!

Overall, our stay was good and the location of Santa Bica is fab! However, there were a few (albeit relatively small) things that I felt let the hotel down a little and that I wish Id known in advance...- Although in a very busy district, there was very little noise from outside. However, the acoustics within the hotel made it quite a noisy place to be - the beeping of alarms, people using bathrooms and so on all sounded like it was happening right in our own room, which wasnt great for a light sleeper like myself!- The rooms are lovely, but very basically accessorised (for example, there wasnt even any glasses for us to get a drink of water out of the tap or anything!) and as the hotel isnt always staffed around the clock, you cant always find someone to ask for things- The lighting in the hotel corridor and communal areas is VERY dim. All very nice and ambient but not great for little children or clumsy people like myself who trip over steps when they arent easy to see!All in all though, if youre looking for somewhere central to stay at a good price and you dont mind the above, its a fab hotel!

Sehr nettes hilfsbereites Personal. Super Lage an der Standseilbahn Santa Bica, unterhalb des Viertels Bairra Alto. Das Zimmer hatte leider einen entscheidenen Nachteil Es grenzte direkt an der Terasse des Restaurants. Daher gab es teilweise bis 1 Uhr nachts lauten Lärm. Auch konnte man die Vorhänge nicht öffnen, da sonst die gäste direkt von der Terasse ins Bad schauen konnten.Dafür gab es morgens ein super Frühstück auf der besagten Terasse. Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich eigentlich um ein Restaurant mit den angeschlossenen 4 Zimmern.

Les plats sont wow ! Tout donne envie. Nous avons pris du poulpe qui était très bon, très charnu, les accompagnements étaient bien choisis.
Notre serveur, sympathique, était aux petits soins et nous a parlé en français :) Ca donne vraiment envie d'y retourner lors d'un prochain séjour à Lisbonne et si je ne devais en recommander qu'un dans le quartier de Bica ce serait ce restaurant :)

Espaço bem conseguido e acolhrdor e arejado. qualidade da confecção muito agradável, mas tem muito a melhorar no serviço ao nível da coordenação. A simpatia é uma mais valia, mas não compensa o resto do serviço. Ainda assim é de voltar.

Quanto ao local, é muito parecido local com Santa Teresa com suas ruas e vielas.

Heerlijk gegeten in dit restaurant, midden in de Barrio Alto. Van buiten niet te zien, maar Santa Bica heeft mooi dakterras. Het eten is prima. Lekkere vlees- en visgerechten. Dessert niet te versmaden. Personeel is vriendelijk.
