Restaurant surprenant, j'aurais jamais imaginé trouver ça dans le quartier de baixa chiado. Le restaurant est ouvert avec une limitation de capacité, donc forcément niveau placement c'était pas super. Mais il y a un étage avec ''ciel ouvert'' et balcon. Pas énormément de choix mais justement c'est ce qui fait la qualité dans ce restaurant. Magique. Ils pensent a toutes les petites choses pour améliorer l'expérience. Je recommande.

Outstanding. Staff polite and attentive. Food was quick, freshly cooked and to an incredibly high standard. Highly recommend. You can't pre book a table but we only had to wait 10 mins and well worth the wait.

One of our best restaurant in Lisbonne !
Their prawns are soooo tasty, the caipirinha is really good, and you'll want to try every single dish on the menu.
But just an advise, you should go early, cause they don't do any reservation. But it's completly worth it !

Très bon vin et excellents tapas !
Musique sympathique et lieu intimiste.
Vous y passerez un bon moment en couple ou entre amis (pas plus de 6 vu la taille des tables).
Arrivez tôt si vous voulez une table ou demandez la nouvelle adresse si vous ne souhaitez pas attendre (un restaurant plus grand a ouvert à deux rues de l'authentique)

Sooo good ! Good recommandations of the waitress. A lot of flavors on plates. Don’t hesitate to take lemon tart or churros for the dessert. I loved it so much :)) and to finish, it’s not expensive (20€ for a big beer, a plate, some potatoes -this is a big portion- and dessert)
The pictures of restaurant are not actual, it’s really modern !
Next time I come to Lisbon, impossible to NOT come again !

We were supposed to go to another tapas bar but ended up here. It was a pleasant suprise! The food was really good especially the gambas. Make sure to come in early as the place is tiny (prox. 20 spots). Nice service aswell!

We came here by accident. We walked that area in search for good food. The other stores/Restaurants around where quite tourist traps we suppose. This one was a big surprise. The food is really good. We‘ve had plenty of stuff there. Really good are the Portobello or the Octopus Balls. And best of all, the stuff. I really felt well served and the young team is so helpful. Try as dessert the Churros as a last treatment. Obrigado

Nous avons pris des tapas pour goûter à plusieurs tapas ! La recommandation du vin était parfaite. Les serveuses et serveurs super gentils. Nous sommes venus avec nos 2 enfants : Des attentions sur des pommes de terre nature plutôt qu'avec la salsa sauce. L'entrecote est exceptionnelle. Le resto vaut le détour !

Las croquetas recomendadas son de pan y horribles sobre una salsa que repiten para el bacalao frito que fue lo mejor.

Delicious tapas, handiest way is to get the train to Avenida and get the Ascensor da Gloria up the hill, graffiti on the walls is very cool and the view from the top is beautiful! Portions were big in there so 2-3 tapas each is plenty. Would go back again

Zum zweitenmal hier! Pica Pau ist sehr lecker und die Kartoffel mit Ei und Zwiebeln sind zum dahinschmelzen. Geheimtipp! Hingehen! Achtung : sind umgezogen. Google Location ist nicht ganz richtig. Jetzt 100 Meter weiter neben Hotel Luminares!

Wow. Just wow. Small place, 10 tables tops - if you didn't know it was here you'd walk past, but please don't. No reservations so if you want a seat you have to wait, they take your name and call when ready, and if your not there tough luck next (we had time to go to the bar round the corner). Once seated the staff are great with suggestions. The food was fantastic!! Tapas style plates for 2, 3 at a push (some we had to order double as we were 3). Speedy service, phenomenal food. Shame the beer is not so great - a couple of local craft beers would do the trick but can't be too fussy.

Je recommande tapa bucho pour 2 personnes choisissez 4 tapas maximum on cale vite ! C'est très bon et la serveuse Lorraine (étudiante en journalisme de l'environnement) est adorable :-) n'hésitez pas à lui parler en français c'est une amoureuse de la France. Best closest thing to Spanish tapas in Portugal! I have had so many tapas over the years with many being in Spain the tapas capital of the world. These tapas are amazing. A little more expensive then in Spain but hey this is not Spain. The croquettes are crispy on the outside and nice and soft inside. The mayonnaise garlic sauce was good but I recommend more garlic. The potatoes where awesome too just needs some extra hot sauce. The pata negra jamón.... increíble... incredible. Drink's.... awesome....I recommend Havana Club rum and coke throughout the night. If you are in town and need a Portuguese food break please come here for Tapas you will not be disappointed. They have 2 locations now too. A smaller local spot and a 2 story building. Both clean and beautiful. Great friendly staff. The walk up to the barrio is nice to and will get your appetite going...the walk down late at night is great to as you will see all the open shops, restaurants and people flocking to the streets. We did not try dessert...maybe next time but I have no doubt it's delicious. Can't wait to come again. 5 stars to this place. Will be back!!

Dangerously delicious! The food was absolutely incredible and the staff was extremely friendly. Beware, some of the portions are a little bigger then expected and there's so many great dishes.

Nonostante abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20-30 minuti per entrare, ne è valsa la pena. Il cibo è buonissimo qualsiasi cosa si prenda. Abbiamo speso 30 euro in 2 con due crocchette, una birra da 0,5 e una da 0,3, 3 portate principali. Tutto buonissimo e tipico del posto.
Consigliato per chi vuole cibo del posto con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Simply amazing! Great food for great prices, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. We shared a wonderful cheese plate, potato peels, bacalhau sandwich, garden "fishes" and shrimps among three people - just the perfect amount. Everything was tasty, definitely the best tapas experience in Lisbon! As others have also noted, the place is super small, so either be there at the opening time or be prepared to wait!

The food was sooo good that I didn't have time nor did I want to stop shoving that food in my face just to take a picture! As other reviews have said, this is a tiny place that probably only accommodates 20 people max. Plan on waiting if you don't get there early enough. Nonetheless, the food is top notch with lots of flavor. Drinks were well made too. The place is a little bid hidden in a typical side street(?) but don't be discouraged.

This is an experience. Get in early, the number of tables are very limited and the quality of food is amazing so you're up against a lot of competition.
I can honestly say everything we ordered was great. Tasty, fresh, and really just a fantastic presentation for most of them.
The staff are lovely and helpful. If you need some advice, they're happy to help out. I think we maybe ordered too much, but the price was good in the end.

Há duas opções dessa casa no Bairro Alto. Um deles mais pequeno, mas com excelente atendimento e os pratos com muito bom aspecto. O mais novo é mais espaçoso e tem uma esplanada no piso superior. Acredito que o atendimento e os pratos sejam muito bons nas duas casas.

Très belle découverte, conseillé par le serveur dans un bar où nous allons prendre l’apéro tous les soirs de notre séjour. Restaurant génial, accueil chaleureux, et tapas délicieux, fait par un vrai cuisinier. Pour preuve nous y étions hier soir, nous y sommes de nouveau ce soir. Même si il y a un peu d’attente (5 minutes) pour avoir une table, n’hésitez surtout pas.

Byli jsme v Lisabonu v lednu, kdy jsou okolo 18h večer skoro všechny bary i restaurace zavřené. Náhodou jsme narazili na tento Tapas bar, který byl plný lidí. Vaří tady skvěle, fajn obsluha a na centrum města mají rozumné ceny, jídlo máte na stole do 15 minut.

My girlfriend and I were visiting Lisbon from Singapore and happened to stay near Tapa Bucho. We would highly recommend this establishment - the staff were very friendly and food was delicious! In particular, we enjoyed the Oxtail Tacos, Prawns and the Chocolate Cake.

Lovely little restaurant with a great selection of tapas which all taste great. The music was great and the staff was very nice and relaxed.
We were there during the off season and had no issue to get a seat in the evening.
But the waiter told us that it can take up to one hour to get seated during peak season.
We will come back for sure.

Read previous reviews which said to get there for when the restaurant opens, we got there just before 7pm & waited outside which we’ve never done before! We were the first table in & within 15 minutes the place was full. Lovely tapas meal, the prawns & oxtail tacos in particular were delicious. Would definitely return! Highly recommend getting there early to avoid missing out!

Fantastic cosy restaurant serving authentic and tasty tapas! Really quick service and lots of choice, staff are more than happy to advise on dishes. The menu is kept hanging on your table so it's quick and easy to add more dishes and order as you go. Great alcohol options, and the house white is very good. My boyfriend and I don't normally dine out for long after finishing our meal but this place had such a brilliant atmosphere and music (90s hip-hop!) that we stayed on afterwards to enjoy more drinks. The area is clearly a popular evening jaunt and I can imagine is busy on weekends. We had 5 or 6 dishes, dessert and 6 drinks or so in total and the bill was less than €60 so very affordable for most. Would definitely recommend for good food, atmosphere and a special night out!

Wow. Loved this place. All of the plates were really amazing. Steak, oxtail tacos, and ceviche were so so delicious. Also a bottle of house wine is €10. Can’t wait to dine here when back in Lisbon. ❤️❤️❤️

Pretty good. We had the potato skins, croquettes (quite dry and dense), mini cheese board and oxtail tacos (absolutely divine). The chef is a little over zealous with oregano - is there a need to dust your cheese board with it? Service was ok. They whipped the plates away as soon as we were done which felt a bit like they were trying to get us out and the next customers in.

Best tapas I have ever had. I don't know does it matter what do you eat because everything was so Goodman. To mention something: the peppers are super tasty.
TIP: Really small place so be there before it opens if you want to be on the first group to get seated.

Nous Sommes pas arrivés de bonne heure mais nous avons pas eu bcp d’attente car nous étions que 2. Mais le mieux est d’arrivé vers 19h surtout si vous êtes un grd groupe car pas de réservation. Nous avons pris la planche fromages et saucissons à 11€ très bonne, le Pork cheek à 8€50 excellent la viande très fondante, et le chicken tacos rien à dire . Les serveurs et serveuses très gentil(les).Merci au serveur qui parlait français pour ses conseils . Je recommande si vous passez à Lisbonne

Made reservations for 10pm. Got there and guy closed door on me and said there is another o e around the corner. I checked there is no other restaurant around corner. I called restaurant 5 times back and no one picked up. I was with my wife and 2 kids. This was an Awful experience.

We moesten even buiten wachten voordat we plek hadden in dit kleine tapas restaurant, maar het was zeker de moeite waard! Tijdens het wachten werden we bediend en eenmaal binnen hebben we heerlijk gegeten en gedronken! Ook vriendelijk personeel! We hebben een fijne avond beleefd. (Dit is alleen geen restaurant voor grote groepen, gezien het vrij klein is)

Wow! Food was phenomenal, perfect mojitos and floor and kitchen staff who really seemed to enjoy their work.

Portions were a very good size. There were 4 of us -we ordered 6 items and couldn’t finish it. White sangria was sweet and delicious. Items tried: Salad, Potato skin cod, Ceviche, Mushroom trilogy, Chicken tacos, Padron Peppers. Chicken tacos were the only item I wouldn’t recommend.

I recently had dinner here with my girlfriend and we shared a few tapas. The pork cheek was exceptionally tasty whereas the croquetes de alheira and ceviche were just decent. However, we also ordered an almond & walnut cake with lemon mascarpone for dessert. It actually tasted quite good but after two bites we noticed whitish green spots, which were undoubtedly mold. There was also a big black spot inside the cake, which we couldn't identify. The waiter tried to make us believe that it was burned, which was definitely not the case. Instead of apologizing for the mistake and giving us options (discount or choice of different dessert), the waiter brought us another dessert, which we neither wanted nor liked.
Therefore, we can only give two stars.

Restaurant et Tapas hyper sympa. Nous y sommes allés avec nos enfants et avons été très bien accueillis. Portugais, Anglais, Français, toutes ces langes sont parlées et les menus traduits. La terrasse au premier étage était très cool et lorsque le temps est devenu plus frais, on nous a proposé des couvertures. 50€ a 4, boissons incluses, je trouve le prix très correct pour la qualité du repas servi et les quantités consommées.

Really tasty food. Everything was perfectly cooked. The codfish was absolute perfection. Best cocktails so far in Lisbon. Very good waiting staff. We really enjoyed the outside terrace up and way from the road.

Read reviews and decided to stop by. We expected to wait for a table but got straight in with a lovely welcome.
The staff were attentive but not overbearing but, more importantly, were knowledgeable about the food. We asked how many dishes were recommended and the suggested number was just right. While ordering we were asked about our preferences and items were suggested based on these. Everything suggested was phenomenal.
A review I had read said that the ‘eggs in a pot’ were something that you MUST order. I would disagree. These were a real low point of the meal. Highlights were the ceviche and the pork cheeks.
I could not recommend this place enough. Fantastic food and service at a very reasonable price.

Wow hidden gem - food was amazing (get the "eggs in the pot" and the steak) and service quick and attentive. Doesn't look like much from the outside (and mostly tourists) but definitely worth it and then some. Very reasonably priced too.

Had a fantastic family meal here, well worth a visit. The tapas is made in front of your eyes with beautiful local produce. The staff are patient and knowledgeable. They even managed to get my kids to eat sardines, which they all loved.a culinary experience, but can get really busy but order a drink and wait you won't be disappointed.

Would most definitely recommend to any and everybody. Food was delicious, the waiting staff was fun but formal, we had to wait to be seated but the hostess was great in accommodating everybody. Might pay a bit more than somewhere else, but to us it was more than worth it!

Hay que ir pronto y pedir que te pongan en la lista. Puedes esperar fuera con tu bebida. Dentro las mesas están muy juntas y hay bastante ruido pero forma parte del encanto del sitio. La atención es de lo más agradable que hemos encontrado. El servicio es rápido pero no te meten prisa para nada, puedes hacer la sobremesa que te apetezca.
La comida diferente y muy buena. De precio genial en comparación con los restaurantes de la zona. Un entrante, dos principales y 3 cervezas 27€. Sin duda repetiría.

Tijdens een weekendje Lissabon zijn we hier 2 keer wezen eten. De eerste keer beviel zo goed dat we nog een keer wilden om te lunchen. Het eten is echt fantastisch! Laat je niet afschrikken en probeer vooral de varkenswang, dit is super mals vlees. Ook de entrecote, garnalen in whiskey en de ossenstaart waren een genot. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en het is zeker niet duur. Aanrader!

Restau super sympa ! Les Tapas et plats succulents, ambiance au top, serveurs adorable. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et je vous recommande chaudement d'y faire un tour. Pas de réservation possible alors essayer d'y aller tôt pour éviter d'attendre trop longtemps. On y fait la queue dans la rue, ( mais avec une bière à la main et ça, c'est cool!)

This looks and feels to all intents like a small meeting place for a family as much as a restaurant. And the atmosphere is perfect – you get to relax over the amazing food while chatting to others. This was a relaxed lunch with a friend and we were both ready to share the tapas experience.
There were a great number of dishes to choose from, and my friend and I have varied tastes, so we asked for some help from the waiter. He knew his stuff inside out and made some recommendations we were both very happy with. It was great to have service with a smile and someone who was there to help as well as serve.
The Mixed board of 3 cheeses and 3 sausages was put together with skill and care. Dishes like this can go very wrong, but the chef obviously knows his local cuisine. I always go for Calamari when eating tapas and this was an absolute delight. Cooked to perfection. My friend had a real craving for meat, so chose the Ox tail, which just melted in the mouth. In addition, we had the Corvina ceviche with sweet potato puree, lime, casava chips and cilantro which tasted as good as it looked. Just to keep up the seafood end of the bargain (after all, we were in Lisbon) we had the Prawns with garlic sauce and these were amazing.
It was quite a shock that we were still ready for dessert after this, and shared the Creme Catalan with ice cream and the Walnut and chocolate cake with mascarpone and lime cream between us. They were heavenly! My friend and I have spoken about nothing else since!

Lamentável.
Toda a experiência foi para esquecer. Começando pelo atendimento, sendo que era a primeira vez que eu e o meu grupo de amigas nos deslocávamos a este restaurante pedimos à funcionária algumas recomendações e simplesmente não nos soube indicar, nem explicar nada.
Posto isto, fizemos o nosso pedido, que veio em sequência para a mesa e não em conjunto como estaríamos à espera, pelo que passámos a primeira parte do jantar a comer batatas fritas salgadas e cascas de batatas fritas. Se calhar por este motivo é que seria importante uma sugestão, não? Prosseguimos com a nossa refeição salgada, sim porque tanto as Gambas, como o Entrecote estavam salgados.
Quando nos perguntaram se estávamos a apreciar a nossa refeição, a nossa resposta foi negativa, tal como a reacção da funcionária que nos virou as costas em silêncio.
Por fim, outro funcionário (ou o gerente) dirigiu-se a nós com a mesma pergunta, à qual respondemos da mesma forma, explicando o que se tinha passado. A pronta resposta foi que nós não sabíamos o que eram petiscos nem como estes são servidos.
Claramente a não repetir.

We had heard a lot from this Tapas Bar from multiple friends and I have to admit we had a good time. The place is very small and cozy, which created a really individual and isolated atmosphere (in a good way). The available items were covering a wide variety of seafood and meat, which led to all of us finding something we enjoy. The waitress was really helpful and explained what everything on the menu meant, due to the fact that we could barely speak a word portuguese. Till that point everything seemed amazing but as the first tapas arrived we noticed something major, which leads me to deduct one point from my review. Some tapas tasted a little tasteless. Salt was missing at some tapas (there were no salt or pepper shakers at the table). That was the only slight negative but all in all a great tapas bar. On my next trip to lisbon Ill definitely go there again :)

Escolhemos este restaurante por sermos todas amantes de petiscos e como era a primeira vez que o visitávamos, pedimos algumas sugestões à funcionária, no entanto a simpatia não imperava e não foi capaz de nos sugerir nada em concreto. Para começar o espaço é muito pequeno, abundando o cheiro a fritos. O serviço é demorado e vem um petisco de cada vez para a mesa, pelo que passamos a primeira meia hora do jantar a comer as batatas fritas e as cascas de batata, que estavam muito salgadas. Só depois vieram as gambas (salgadas e mal servidas) e no final o entrecote (Salgado e mal servido). Dado o nosso descontentamento o gerente veio ter connosco mas logo adotou uma postura defensiva, segundo ele, nos é que não estávamos habituadas a comer petiscos. Enfim, uma experiência a não repetir.

A tiny little restaurant at the Barrio da Alto. Located at a secondary street not very easy to find. It seems that this style of tiny restaurant is a fashion way in Lisbon.
I tried the bucho salad and the ox tail. Salad is quite special but the ox tail was a little bit dry. However, based on the observation of other tables, dishes like tortilla de ox tail, pica pau, and mussels looked really nice.
The white sangria is a big big surprise! It was so fresh with apple, cucumber, lime, limon and cinnamon! Fabulous drink to refresh.
BTW, their menu is interesting.

OK, so nowhere you are ever going to stumble upon. Way off the beaten track back allay. Even when found, doesn't appear open, but be brave. We were rewarded with our best meal in Lisbon. All your favourite tapas at excellent value. Standouts, chicken in mushroom sauce and braised pig cheek dishes. Fun service and good wine.

Restaurant typique, excellents plats de tapas.
Le pica Pau est excellent ainsi que l'ensemble du contenu de la carte.
Il faut compté 25€ par tête pour bien déguster avec un verre de vin.
Accueil chaleureux des serveurs.
Je vous recommande de réserver à l'avance car beaucoup de monde qui attend avec son verre à l'extérieur pour avoir une place à table.

Lage, Personal und Interieur echt sehr schön...wir mussten 1,5 Std warten, was wir sehr gerne gemacht haben_es war draussen warm, wir bekamen Getränke und konnten small Talk halten...kein Problem!!!
Dann ging's rein, Service trotz Stress echt cool....
Es gab: gemischte Vorspeisen Platte( ähnlich schwäbischer Vesper) mit 2x Schinken,6 Chorizo Wurst Scheiben dazu 2 Sorten Käse...frittierte calamaris Ringe, Brot mit Kräuterbutter( ähnlich meggle Kräuter Baguette), ein gegrilltes stk entrecote mit 2 dipps und Pommes frites....

Zeer leuk en gezellig tapas restaurant! Vond dat over het algemeen de restaurants met de terrasjes en waar het vaak wel aardig vol zit, zeer slecht eten hebben, daarom via Google gezocht naar goeie restaurants en had toen deze gevonden. Zeer aan te raden, grote porties dus je hoeft niet veel te bestellen wat misschien handig is voor mensen met een kleinere portemonnee.

Great tapas, large portions, very friendly service. My friend and I paid 10€ each and had more than enough food plus large pour of great wine. Also like that the menu has a little map with a wine option from each region. Try the pork cheeks!! Will definitely be back!

Espaço acolhedor com atendimento simpático. Não aceita reservas e o espaço é pequeno, por isso é aconselhável ir cedo se não se quiser ficar muito tempo em fila de espera.
A comida é bastante boa e o serviço é rápido.
A maioria dos pratos tem um preço justo, mas um ou outro tem um preço demasiado elevado para a quantidade servida (o exemplo mais óbvio são as gambas).

Food were great and reasonably priced. But don't ever buy the 12€ steak. It is overpriced. You won't get any fries either. Just buy the hburgers instead (it comes with fries) and costs only 7.5€ with a big enough portion

Cute little restaurant with great tapas. Normally when I go for tapas I go home hungry but the portions are generous and very well priced. Friendly attentive service and a good selection of background music. Just make sure you have sat nav to find it, it is not on the beaten track.

500ml 생맥주가 3유로 330ml 생맥주가 2유로로 맥주가 저렴한 타파스. 해산물 요리는 적었고, 간단한 음식들 위주로 추천받아 먹었다. 전체적으로 다 맛있었으나 양은 많지 않아 식사로는 부적합. 식후에 한잔 하기 좋았던 집.

Kleiner Tapas Laden der eine begrenzte aber sehr gute Auswahl an Tapas anbietet. Wir wurden sehr nett bedient und es war sehr lecker. Die gemischte Vorspeisen Platte ist zu empfehlen. Das einzige was mich nicht gänzlich überzeugte waren die Pilze.

Mein absoluter Geheimtipp und bislang bestes Lokal in Portugal. Die Speisen waren überaus köstlich und das Personal äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nachdem das Restaurant recht klein ist empfehle ich frühzeitig da zu sein oder zu reservieren.

Best petiscos we had in Lisbon, we came twice during out stay. Friendly service, delicious food and very reasonably priced. Gets very busy and you can't book in advance so turn up early! A must if visiting Lisbon!!

It took us almost one hour to get a table on saturday evening. They served us drinks while waiting outside. Well worth the wait. Very tasty and cozy place.

Locale piccolo con pochi posti a sedere, abbiamo dovuto aspettare fuori ma ne è valsa la pena (ci hanno offerto anche una birra a testa) piatti tutti molto buoni, dai tapas al dolce passando dal baccalà.
Il conto ci ha sorpreso in positivo, si pensava molto più salato e invece....
Ed infine 5 stelle anche allo staff, giovane, disponibile e simpatico!!

Overpriced and food is not that tasty, Ovos rotos were nice, but calamares, shrimps and sangria were not that good.
It's a cosy place and people are nice though.

Da altri siti ha ricevuto recensioni straordinarie che mi sembrano eccessive. Carino ma scomodo da raggiungere. Si mangia nella media. Non mi affannerei per andarci
