Super place! We stayed for 4 nights in May in Room no. 2. It was exactly as the pictures and a huge room which could easily fit a family of 4. We booked directly on the hotels website. Location - is super - it just near the KIA motors and bang opposite the front entrance of the VIP Inn Berna. 2 Subway/ metro stations are nearby and the location was very convenient. There is a LIDL at the Entrecampos station about 200 m away, and a small shopping mall and food court at Campo Pequeno which is across the road. We were given a fruit basket daily, as well as bathrobes and slippers. There is a full fledged kitchen which is open 24 hours a day and you can cook when you like. There is everything from a coffee machine to a microwave. Even a fridge to keep your stuff. Then there is also a lovely breakfast every morning which was super. Cereals, eggs, Danish pastries, croissants, ham, cheese, fruit, bread, tea, coffee, juice, milk... It's fantastic! You can make your own eggs . Never was any tray empty. The bathroom is shared between the 11 rooms. Women have their own individual bathroom. But we never waited even once to use it. It was also always clean and dry, I don't know how they managed to keep it so impeccable. WIFI was free and very fast at all areas. And then, there's the SUPER students/ staff who run this place - a BIG THANK YOU to Iolanda and David - you both were phenomenal! And also to Joana, Beatriz and Rita. They are basically students who are running this place and they were so friendly and helpful and really made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Good luck to all of you for your further work and studies. David - I'm sure you will get that scholarship for UK! We had a great stay at Typical Lisbon Guest house and that in turn made our stay at Lisbon very pleasant. Weather was very sunny and warm, 28 - 32 °c in early May. I can also recommend a Mexican food joint called El Mecicano just near the guest house - come to the main road and take a right for about 200m - super burritos! For the price we payed, and it's great location and staff and comfort factor, I Highly recommend this Guest house. Go for it!! Read less

Nice place with lovely decoration and rooms. Friendly staff and a metro is close. However the place is quite noisy (thin walls and doors so you hear all other guests, close to the airport) and breakfast consists mainly of bought cakes and is rather small. Bathrooms are shared and okish clean. However some showers needed to be fixed. Parking on the street limited to 4 hours (4€) other places more than 10€ per day.

Hotel sympathique ressemblant à une auberge de jeunesse. Au centre de Lisbonne Il se situe dans un immeuble et s'apparente à un immense appartement. Un long couloir dessert une dizaine de chambre spacieuses et très propre. Les toilettes et salles de bain sont à l'extérieur des chambres. Composées de douche italienne, lavabo et toilette. Le petit déjeuner est bon, il y a beaucoup de sucré (gâteaux, pâtes à tartiner, croissant chocolatines...), il manque un peu de salé selon moi (seulement du jambon et du fromage). L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel souriant. Pour le prix de 65 euros petit déjeuner compris je recommande.

Típico apartamento lisboeta remodelado! Bons acabamentos e conforto. O conceito funciona bem com quartos com WC partilhado. Pequeno-almoço satisfatório.

Hotel sympathique on est comme à la maison, discret et chaleureux un petit bémol sur les douches qui demande à être refaites. Séjour agréable le gérant est très plaisant et chaleureux. Un bonjour de Lyon.

Bellissime soluzioni per dormire, non in centro, ma vicino alla metropolitana facile da raggiungere a piedi. Il centro, dista a circa 3,4 fermate. Ottima la cucina in comune. Il bagno e condiviso comunque sempre pulito. Ottimo lo staff disponibile, parla anche un po' con l'italiano. Super consigliato

Ambiente limpo, organizado, atendimento amigo, de pessoas dispostas a servir bem.

petit hôtel sans prétention, confortable et situé à 20 mn de Lille centre, quoi de mieux? Le personnel est quasi agréable et vous renseigne volontiers sur les visites et les restaurants aux alentours. Doté d'un coin cuisine en libre accès, ce qui permet de cuisiner. Contrairement à certains avis , les douches, bien que communes, sont propres. cependant, le bémol revient à la chambre familiale situé à l'entrée. Elle donne sur la route et en cas de fortes chaleurs, impossible de laisser les fenêtres fermées elles sont donc un peu bruyantes. Le petit déjeuner est trés correcte avec beaucoup de choix..J'y retournerai sans hésitation!

Todo genial, la habitación grande, baños compartidos muy limpios, buffet no muy variado pero suficiente y parking en el hotel de enfrente a 12€ día. Con el autobús 736 bajas y subes del centro.

Everything is so nice!sincere service, though it s a guesthouse with shared bathroom It s so clean and room are nicely decorated and cozy. Breakfast also included with fruits,bread cereal etc. A very good choice!

El precio es elevado para la ubicación en la que se encuentra (alejado del centro) y ser de zonas compartidas. Además no nos hicieron la habitación de una noche para otra. El desayuno incluido muy escaso. No volveré, ni por supuesto lo recomendaré a amigos y conocidos. No recomendable, hay opciones mucho mejores calidad-precio para alojarse en Lisboa.

Bed and rooms are nice. Breakfast is great. People working in here will try to help you with every problem you could have. I can recomend it.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Guesthouse. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell.

Une chambre totalement fabuleuse... Assez bon emplacement dans un immeuble ancien qui ne paye pas de mine depuis la rue mais avec accès au métro en 2 minutes à pieds. Quelques petits dysfonctionnements de douche (elles fonctionnent quand même) mais bon service, bon accueil. Et la chambre, il faut la voir pour y croire !

The staff was very kind and she gave us much helpful information in Lisbon. And the breakfast was very stunning! We also like the room where we had stayed. And we had one suggestion that the staff could attach a post on the door of the room for breakfast that guest should return the used plates and cups in the washing machine if they want the guests do.:)

Uma maravilhosa surpresa! A entrada não condiz com a limpeza, organização e cuidado do hostel. Tolhas de banho, lençóis e até um roupão impecavelmente limpos e branquinhos. O café da manhã e delicioso e ainda nos dão o "mimo" de poder comer o que sobrou durante o dia todo e até a noite para não desperdiçar croissants, bolinhos, pães e frutas. A cozinha é completamente equipada e podemos utilizá-la. Uma geladeira compartilhada serve aos hóspedes, mas ninguém mexe nas suas coisas deixadas ali. E por falar em compartilhar, o banheiro é compartilhado, mas não parece. Está sempre limpinho e seco! A localização é fantástica!

The location is great if you like quiet and quaint. It’s also sandwiched in between all transportation like metro, train and bus. Staff is very helpful and informative. Good variety of breakfast. Quiet and clean rooms. I would stay here again.

Couldn't recommend more. The most welcoming staff, an amazing breakfast and very cozy room. I was kind of afraid of the shared bathroom but it was so good and clean that it didn't make any difference. Can't wait to come back!

Pros - I enjoyed our stay in Typical Lisbon. The staff members were generally helpful and warm. They tried to accommodate my requests. The breakfast was good. The hotel is a good choice for those attending conferences at Lisbon University. Cons- Breakfast is served at 8:15 which is quite late for me.

Ein Hostel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Stadtlage. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und gut eingerichtet (WLAN, internat. TV), die Baderäume sind modern (mehrmals täglich sauber gemacht). Das Frühstück ist übersichtlich, aber für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Getränke, Gebäck und Obst stehen den ganzen Tag zur Verfügung (wie auch die Küche). Das Personal ist sehr nett und beantwortet alle Fragen.

I don't think I could stay here for long because the room was rather dark and felt a bit enclosed, but the value for money was excellent. If you just want a bed for one or two nights, this place is fine. The staff were nice.

Recently stayed 4 nights here, we struggled to find traditional accommodation that allowed children but Typical Lisbon welcomed our two year old. The hotel was really beautiful, high ceilings and chandeliers and window shutters. The rooms were very large and plenty of room to unpack if you wished. The hotel provided a travel cot and baby towel, they also offered a baby bath if we needed it. They also had a high chair for meal times. The shower rooms were not en suite but they were self contained toilet/shower rooms for privacy. There were towels and toiletries provided. There was a kitchen which was equipped to make a meal if you wished and a fridge for guests to use. The supermarket was in a shopping centre under the campo pequeno arena, a two minute walk away. Breakfast was really nice, breads and pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, ham and cheese. Lots of jams too. The only minor thing is that I wished the breakfast was earlier however the hotel us unmanned overnight between 11am and

Für den Preis echt top! Frühstück ist inklusive, warmes Wasser gab es immer und man ist gleich in der Stadt.. immer gerne wieder!

Sin lugar a dudas una gran opción para alojarse en Lisboa. Las habitaciones grandes y limpias, cama grande y cómoda. El desayuno incluido en la reserva más que suficiente para aguantar los largos paseos por la ciudad. Baños compartidos pero limpísimos y moderbos, cada baño cuenta con tres lavabos, dos wc y dos fuchas dobles. El trato por parte del personal es muy familiar. Dispone de cocina con un montón de electrodomésticos; microondas, lavavajillas, frigorífico, plancha... Parada de metro a 200 metros. Si viajáis en coche, este fue mi caso, es zona Ora excepto de 19 a 09. Fuera del horario de pago se aparca sin problemas. Por poner una pega, la antena de la TV de la habitación no parecía ir bien, se veía con niebla. Pero ni avisé al personal porque cuando viajo no tenemos tiempo para ver la TV :-)

Eramos 7 adultos e 2 crianças com 15 meses e adoramos ficar no Typical Lisbon Guest House. Alugamos 4 quartos, todos eles muito bem decorados, modernos, limpos e confortáveis. As casas de banho são partilhadas, muito limpas e em numero suficiente para o conforto dos clientes. A cozinha é muito bonita, tivemos oportunidade de preparar uma refeição, tem tudo o que é necessario. O pequeno almoço delicioso e abundante, com bolos caseiros. De registar a preocupação do staff em repor as diferentes opções. A localização do hostel é muito boa e segura, com lugares de estacionamento a porta. O staff é muito simpatico, profissional, atento ao conforto dos clientes. Sem duvida que recomenda. Sem duvida que vamos voltar.

Truly amazed at the personal service. The lady who runs this place is amazing. I rarely review, however the service deserves recommendation. One of the best value places I've ever stayed at.
